Spell for Today – To Use on Decaffeinated or Herbal Beverages – Coffee or Tea to Still Wake You Up Without the Caffeine Jitters

Here in the Northern Hemisphere the days are getting shorter as we look forward to Samhain, Yule, and Imbloc. This is the time of year many of us switch from a cold beverage in the morning to a hot one. I have been 95% caffeine free for almost 15 years but on days that I had to go to work on little to no sleep I would have caffeinated coffee and wind up at the worse with a migraine or at least feel jittery. SO I had to figure out how my decaf coffee or tea or herbal tea could give me the boost that caffeinated beverages did. Standing in the kitchen one morning, while it was still dark out, waiting for my morning wake up sip I came up with a spell to put natural universal energy into my decaf coffee so I wouldn’t fall asleep walking to work. To my surprise, keep in mind I am still more asleep than awake, the spell work fantastically. This spell does work and is much better for the human body than caffeine and/or energy drinks.

Please print off this spell is you want to and hang it in your kitchen somewhere close to where to fix your cup of coffee in the morning.

Even if you drink your coffee or tea or herbal black you can use this spell to energize your beverage.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Your Favorite Hot Beverage Cup/Mug

A Regular Teaspoon

Cup of Decaffeinated Coffee or Your Favorite Tea (this spell does work on herbal teas and beverages like regular Gatorade, or even plain water also)

Milk, Cream, Half and Half, Powdered Cream or whatever you use to make your beverage have a whitish color to it

Sugar, Artificial Sweetener, Honey, Or Whatever you use to sweeten your beverage

PREPERATION TO DO THE SPELL:

Brew your decaf coffee or steep your tea

Fill your Cup or Mug (Your beverage will be HOT. Be careful and watch as you pour so you do not over pour and get burned by your beverage)

Fix it how ever you like it – Do not stir it yet

SPELL:

Put the teaspoon into your cup/mug stir counterclockwise wise three times while saying:

I stir all out all tiredness from my mind and body

Make sure the liquid comes to a stop before stirring it clockwise three times while say:

I stir wake up energy into my (coffee, tea, herbal tea)

You can do this once and keep adding the spells more times, making sure the liquid come to a full stop before reversing your direction of stirring, until you know what is right for you. When you have stirred it both ways for as long as you want finish the spell as you would any other spell that you do.

Flower Magic: The Secret Language Of The Flowers c. 2015

There are many things that were known only about a hundred years ago that have become lost, and the secret language of the flowers is one of them. In days gone by it was held an important part of women’s education to know home remedies, about the qualities of plants and this had a large metaphysical component.

Just knowing that there is a secret language of flowers changes many things; and of course has many applications in practical as well as esoteric magic and energy magic.

Right up to Victorian times, the meaning of flowers was common knowledge amongst people and was used to transmit messages and information.

In this painting which looks so harmless to a modern Westerner and merely decorative, there is story told in flowers about the person who painted it, and the person for whom they painted it. That’s a second layer of information, invisible to those who are not in the know; because of this it is called the secret language of flowers.

If you look for it, you will find flowers everywhere – they appear seemingly harmlessly and randomly in portraits, in the background of stained glass windows in a church; they are carved in stone in palaces and temples; and often you will see a depiction of saints and important historical figures who are holding a flower, or are pointing to one.

On a visit to an old graveyard, you can tell the plants that were chosen to be on a person’s grave, using the secret language of flowers – and the vast majority of people walk right by and have no idea that all of that is going on.

Importantly, flowers were used to express emotions, especially in romantic relationships. Gentlemen would bring posies to the ladies; and the ladies would wear very specific flowers on their hats, or choose or make fabrics that would bear particular flower motives.

Any fabric pre-dating the Second World War has this language of flowers, this additional meaning and information, interwoven into its very structure; this is practical magic where intention is added to a natural existence and used intelligently in order to bring about a change in reality.Flower language magic sleep cushion

For example, if you put on a cushion a design that says in the language of flowers, “If you put your head on this cushion to rest, you will have sweet dreams of love, independence, freedom and joy,” that’s a pure piece of human magic or witchcraft at work. For people who actively practice the art of bringing intention into daily life and shaping their own destiny that way, the language of flowers, that secret layer of intention, energy and information, provides a dictionary of symbols that can be practically evoked in spells and rituals, in magic potions by adding the physical components of that particular flower to the spell.

If you learn the secret language of the flowers, you have a magical alphabet to make your own spells; this is how most of magic works, you don’t learn a bunch of spells and ingredients by heart, but instead, you learn what the ingredients do and so you can mix and match for every occasion.

Flower language in a portrait - a picture that says more ...For example, one of the only surviving flower language symbols is that of the red rose for romantic love. People might nowadays have absolutely no idea what a bluebell was meant to mean only a hundred years ago, or even what a Valerian flower looks like, never mind where you could find one or what its flower language message is, but it is still known that a red rose means love.

Knowing that, you can add the petals of a red rose to any love potion that has a physical/sexual strand to it; and also to any other type of potion where a physical/sexual strand would add a bit of va va voom to the spell in question.

As always, knowing even a little bit about magic opens your eyes, ears and your other senses to the simple fact that there is more to life than the dour ones would have us believe.

Wondering what was said about this lady in the portrait here by the flowers makes meeting with this image in a whole new way. Modern science will have us believe that our ancestors were all a bunch of idiots who believed in superstitious nonsense and that there is no such thing as the invisible worlds of energy and information.

I’m afraid they are the fools; and it’s a shame because the world becomes a much more interesting place when you pay attention and find out about such things as the secret language of the flowers, and how this has been used throughout the ages of mankind to tell us things most people now will never understand.

And if you make the secret language of the flowers your own, you can do many interesting, inspiring and wonderful things with that – even if it’s just choosing a wallpaper that has the right flowers for your purposes on it, and smiling every day when you see it again.

Below is a very short version of the secret language of flowers; for a much more comprehensive flower language dictionary from A-Z with a search function and a reverse list so you can decide the quality/meaning you need and then look up the right flower or plant, go here:

Spell for Today – Sun Water: Solar Magick and Sun Energy

(YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE ANY SPELLS POSTED TO A DOCUMENT TO PRINT AND/OR SAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER)

As the sun rises each morning, it offers us a newfound sense of hope that carries us through our day. But what if we could capture the energy and vibrancy of the sun every single minute? What if there were a way to access its healing properties wherever life takes us? That’s where sun water comes into play!

Solar Water

Solar magick harnesses the power of the sun to bring about positive change in one’s life. This could involve anything from casting spells to meditating in the rays of the sun and focusing on your desired outcome. Whether asking for protection or blessings, developing confidence, or encouraging growth, solar magick can bring peace and harmony into your life. Creating solar water is an easy way to incorporate sun magick into your craft.

What Is Sun Water?

Solar water is precisely what you’d expect: water that harnesses the energy and power of the sun! Solar water can then be used in other spells, workings, and magickal practices.

How To Make Solar Water

Much like moon water, solar water can be easily created by leaving a clear glass jar or container of water out in the sunlight in order to infuse the water with the Sun’s properties. You can use spring, bottled, or tap water – any kind will do! Just make sure the water is safe to drink if you intend on doing so.

Once you have collected the water, you can add herbs, oils, or other ingredients that are associated with your intention. For example, if you are doing a spell for prosperity, you might add some money-drawing herbs such as basil or mint.

After you have added your ingredients, you will need to charge the water. This can be done by simply speaking your intention over the water, or by using a charged crystal such as amethyst or citrine.

When To Collect Sun Water

What time of day is best for creating solar water? Well, that depends on your intention! The Sun goes through several phases throughout the day, and each of these phases brings a very different energy to your magickal workings.

Sunrise

This water is best utilized for new beginnings, manifestation, and drawing in blessings such as wealth, abundance, and fertility.

Noon

This water is often used to bring good health and vitality, physical prowess, courage, and wisdom. The Sun’s energy is at its peak during this time, making it perfect for charging crystals or other magick implements.

Sunset

This water is used for releasing unwanted energies, letting go, or revealing truths. Appropriate for shadow work and banishing negativity.

Your sun water can be further customized by working with the sign that the sun is currently in to help you focus your intention. At the time of writing this, the sun is in Aquarius, blessing us with joy, creativity, and a strong spirit of individuality. Next, we’ll explore how to incorporate the aspects of the Sun into your practice.

Uses For Sun Water

Now that you have your Sun water created and charged, it’s time to use it! Here are a few different ideas for you to get started with.

Use the water in your spell or ritual.

Once the water is charged, you can use it in your spell or ritual in any way … Click here for usage of Sun Water from spells8.com

(Spell for Today) FOLK MEDICINE CURES c. 2014

FOLK MEDICINE

Amulets for Health

To relieve pain, touch the affected area with an amulet created from a poultice
of red coral and ash leaves. Bury the amulet under an oak tree. Similar methods
were used to rid the body of warts. A potato was applied to the wart, then
buried. For any health-related magic, coral, ash leaves, oak leaves or a piece
of potato makes an excellent focuses or components.

Arthritis
One teaspoon of chopped garlic twice daily with water is reputed to ease
arthritis symptoms. This folk remedy may have come from the belief that garlic
aids the blood circulation. Other options include wearing charmed belts or
blessed cords of wool near the afflicted area.

Athlete’s Foot
Saltwater soaks and cornstarch powder dusted on the feet daily work against the
fungus that causes athlete’s foot. In ancient Greece, you may have been given
powdered orris root. This not only helps keep your feet dry, but also relieves
odors.

Bee Stings
Plant leaves are the common denominator in methods of relieving the pain and
itch of bee stings. Turks apply wet tobacco leaves directly to the sting. In
other cultures, various types of plant leaves or petals are used, including
burdock, dandelion and marigold.

Burns
The three most universal aids to spread over a burn are damp baking soda, honey
or aloe. Any of these might also be metaphorically applied in a spell to ease
fiery anger. Rub the substance over a picture of the individual who is irate.

Colds
A tea made of lemon juice and honey in warm water is soothing, and hot tar smoke
is thought to relive and prevent coughs. If you put seven beans in your pocket
and throw one away each day, but the end of the week your cold should be gone.
This can be further assisted by eating horseradish.

Constipation
A daily cup of licorice and senna tea works to relieve constipation. These herbs
are also excellent magical ingredients for spells to overcome an artistic block
or any other barrier.

Cramps
Ginger and pepper combine for a good hot drink to ease stomach cramps.
For muscle cramps, wear a garter of corks near the afflicted muscle or place it
between the springs of your bed and the mattress. This last idea may have
developed because, when a cork is taken from a bottle, it releases pressure with
a pop. Consider employing this symbolism any time you feel constrained or
limited.

Diarrhea
Peppermint tea is one of the best-known remedies for this uncomfortable
condition. An alternative drink is ginger tea with two teaspoons of vinegar and
a dash of salt.

Dog Bite
The bid of a mad dog was once thought to be cured by eating some of the
creature’s hair boiled or fried with rosemary. This was how the saying “hair of
the dog that bit you” came into being and is an excellent early example of
sympathetic magic. Thus, when people drink alcohol for a hangover, they are
using the “biting” item to effect their cure.

Eyewash
Ringing the eye with the water used for steeping a lapis stone is said to
relieve itching eyes. One work of caution: be sure the lapis and water are both
clean and free from impurities. Lapis water blessed beneath a full moon can also
enhance psychic vision.

Fever
Goldenseal tea and a teaspoon of lemon juice taken every four hours reduces
fever. Another recommendation is to take clippings of your fingernails and mix
them with warm wax which is then bound to a tree or rock so that the fever is
attached to something other than you. Similar symbolism can be used when you are
feeling angry and out of balance. In a symbolic sense, you are literally
disengaging the negativity from yourself.

Gemstones
The use of gem stones in remedial work was closely tied to their color, planet
of influence, and other commonly associated superstitions. Red stones, for
example, were frequently considered helpful for blood conditions, green stones
for all type of healing, and blue for improving emotional disposition.
Gems were used in a wide variety of ways not only as curatives, but also
to ward off sickness. In many instances, the individual was instructed to wear
or carry the stone in a specific manner, frequently near the center of the
prevailing problem. This was done so that the stone could collect any illness.
An alternative to amuletic work was the gem elixir. These may or may not
have actually been made from gemstones, considering the expense involved and the
cleverness of many healers. Instead, solutions likely had the appearance of a
particular stone in coloration. The other option was to place a particular stone
in any liquid for a duration of time to allow absorption of its positive
remedial qualities. Some of these costly cures include diamonds and emeralds for
an antidote for poison, jade for kidney disease, jasper for stomach ailments,
ruby for flatulence, topaz for the plague, and bloodstone to stop hemorrhaging.
Crystalline elixirs are used by many people in the New Age community today
to internalize specific aspects of a stone. Usually the gem (or crystal) is
steeped in spring water by the light of the sun or moon, depending on its
intended use. The stone is removed afterwards and the liquid drunk.

Headaches
An amethyst, warmed by the rays of the sun, wrapped in silk, and then bound
lightly to the temples, eases the pain of a headache. Wearing rings of lead or
quicksilver also prevents and soothes this difficulty. These suggestions are
likewise applicable for psychically caused pain as experienced from overexertion
in a reading, or returning to normal awareness too quickly after meditation.

King’s Evil
This is a disease of the lymph glands thought in the Middle Ages to be cured
only by the touch of a reigning monarch. The first instance we see of King’s
Evil is during the time of Edward the Confessor (A.D. 1024-1066). Most likely,
this superstition was invented by the court to improve the king’s esteem in the
eyes of the populace.
Since kings are not readily available these days, a supplication directly
to the king and queen of the heavens can be made to reduce the swelling of the
lymph glands. Or wear a piece of blue flannel tied nine times around your neck.
The warmth of the flannel, combines with its peaceful color was considered a
powerful combination.

Laryngitis
When your voice leaves you, try gargling three times with a combination of
vinegar, rainwater and honey. Salt and garlic water are also effective. In
England, country physicians recommend the juice of a boiled cabbage with honey.
By adding a little incantation, such as “through the guns and past the
lips, my speech is strengthened with each sip” you can also use these
concoctions before a speaking engagement to empower your presentation. While the
incantation may seem a little silly, it is easily committed to memory and has a
meter which allows for rhythmic repetition.

Laying On Of Hands
Great power and reverence has always been given to the hands of the healer. They
are the conduit not only of divine energy, but also, more immediately
significant, of relief from pain. Many religions and even modern science speak
of the amazing power of touch to calm, reassure, and grant emotional relief on a
temporary basis. Many healing methods have developed from the simple laying on
of hands, for example, acupressure, shiatsu, and reiki. In these methods,
pressure points, massage and touch are incorporated to improve circulation, ease
pain, perform auric cleansings and even cure hiccups.

Melancholy
To cure a case of melancholy in India, healers suggest wearing lapis lazuli
around the neck and keeping busy so there wasn’t time to think about troubles.

Pain
Jade or lapis worn on any afflicted area is thought to relieve pain. Once the
pain is gone, the stone should either be thoroughly cleansed in saltwater or
buried so the pain isn’t returned the next time the gem is handled. For
emotional pain, place the stone over your heart.

Prescriptions
Medicinal prescriptions have been found in cultures dating from ancient
Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome. These first prescriptions included clearly
written instructions and pictures. These images were not only for the
illiterate, but also were believed to help improve the effectiveness of the folk
cure. (Considering the handwriting of many contemporary physicians, they might
want to consider doing likewise.)
More seriously, we can continue this tradition by adding appropriate runes
or other personal symbols to any written spell.

Sand Paintings
One of the more interesting healing traditions is that of sacred sand painting
practiced by the Hopi culture in the southwestern United States. Here, it is
regarded as a kind of magic, where the ancestors and the Gods are called in to
aid the patient.
When the shaman finishes the painting (usually a two-day process), the
patient sits on one portion while the shaman chants and blesses him or her.
Eventually, some indication is given to the healer that the work is complete and
the sand painting is destroyed with the remains being given to the winds.
In our own healing rituals, sand could be used in a similar manner.
Personally significant symbols can be sketched with various colors of sand, then
given to the afflicted person to hold. He or she should then direct all aches
and pains to the grains of sand while releasing them to the winds. This will
carry the sickness away.

Scapegoat
The term scapegoat dates back to the time when animals were used for disease
transference. Here, one particular animal would be chosen to bear the sickness
of the entire community, and would then be ritually killed, burned, or buried to
cure the people.
Most magical people today disdain such activities as disrespectful to the
animals involved, so a kinder alternative should be considered. Inanimate
objects such as the sand illustrated above can be substitute for a creature with
equal effectiveness, since symbolism is the most important factor in sympathetic
magic.

Skin Disease
Tenth-century Anglo-Saxons used a basic preparation of goose fat mixed with
elecampane, bishop’s wort, cleavers, and a spoonful of old soap, lathered it
onto the skin at night to relieve skin problems. Additionally, a little blood
taken from a scratch on the neck was released into a flowing stream to magically
carry the sickness. While it moved away, the afflicted person would say, “take
this disease and depart with it” three times, then return home by an open road,
going both ways in silence.

Sneezing
The sneeze was considered a message direct from God or a bit of the soul being
released. In Scotland, parents waited impatiently for their child’s first sneeze
to prove there was no fairy hold over him or her and that the child was thus of
sound mind.
There is also a form of divination by sneezing: if you sneeze after dinner
it means good health; three sneezes in a row portend gifts or a letter; two, a
wish; five, silver; six, gold. Perhaps it seems a little silly to try, but if
you are performing prosperity magic, you might keep a little pepper handy to see
if the sneeze helps empower your spell!

Sympathetic Magic
Sympathetic, or symbolic magic, whether called by that name or not, is common
throughout various cultures. For example, the patient would have a string
attached to the affected area and the healer would place the other end in his
mouth to suck out the sickness; to break curses or mark transitions from the
sickness to health, the patient would be moved through a fire or wreath.
Similar versions of sympathetic magic can be seen in prescriptions calling
for a wool string to be worn around the neck to cure a cold, red glass beads
worn as a necklace to prevent nosebleeds, placing medicine on an object of help
cure a wound it inflicted, and making headaches disappear by sleeping with
scissors under your pillow.
The marvelous part about sympathetic magick is the wide variety of
creative approaches it offers. Consider what it is you are trying to accomplish,
an appropriate symbol of that goal, and finally what magickal procedures you
want to follow, and you have just originated a personalized spell or ritual.

Toothaches
A nearly universal treatment for toothaches is clove oil.  In Kenya, wax or
chewing gum is used for temporary fillings. Another interesting superstition is
that a wedding ring touched to an aching tooth will relieve the pain because of
the power of love.

Toxins
In Scotland, a poultice of onions is applied to the stomach and armpits in order
to help the body sweat out any toxic materials. This might be a good folk remedy
to try when you are going through a personal purification or attempting to rid
yourself of a physically addictive habit such as smoking.

Flashback 2002 Imbolc

Imbolc is an important day of purification and initiation; on the Sun’s day, February 2, the energies are very airy. This Sabbat is a good day for coven work, with an emotionally detached masculine Moon and Sun on the Sun’s day.

Dress yourself and your altar in white, while serving white beverages or any dairy food to honor the calving season. Spread the top of a one-pound round Camembert or Bire cheese with raspberry preserves. Cut a circle of puff pastry large enough to cover the cheese, wrap it, tucking the ends of the pastry under. Use scraps to decorate the top with goddess symbols. Brush with beaten egg yolk. Bake at 425 degrees until golden, and serve hot and melting on crackers. During this ritual, bless and dedicate all candles you will need for other ritual work throughout the year. A good way to start the ceremony is to light candles in the darkened room with chanting to encourage the lengthening days.

Spellcrafting for Tuesday

SELF EMPOWERMENT SPELL

This is a fairly simple spell, and of course you should change it according to your tastes.

What You Will Need:

–1 white candle (probably the bigger the better)

–mirror

The candle should be cleansed before you begin, and could be infused with white energy, the energy of love and strength. Meditate upon your intentions before you begin. why do you need to empower yourself? Is it because you wish to realize the beauty within yourself, or you wish others to see the beauty or strength you know that lies within you.

This spell also works best if you do a cleansing of yourself, whether it is bath or shower or just visualize all of the negativity that you are carrying with you washing away. The candle should be placed in front of the mirror, and the mirror should face you.
Light the candle. Feel the positive energy emanating from the candle.

If you worship a deity, call upon them to help you. Chant or say a prayer. This is an example:

I walk in beauty with the Goddess.
I am strength. I am beauty. I am will. I am love.
She is within me. All who see me, know Her.

Spell for Today – Sunday Pagan Worship

(YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE TO A DOCUMENT TO PRINT OR SAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER)

Finally, it’s Sunday, the official day of rest. Not only do Christians acknowledge this day but I’m sure many pagans appreciate this day, as well. Everyone needs rest and a lot of people need a good day to worship their creator (whomever or whatever that may be), however they deem fit to do so. With the Sun being the central theme of many ancient rituals, Sunday just seems to fit, in name and theory.

Sunday Pagan Worship

What you will need:
Your voice
Your body
1 bell (optional)

Find a quiet, private area, without distraction. Sit down in a comfortable position. Take a few, slow, deep breaths. Allow your body to become very relaxed. When you have done this, if you brought a bell, ring it seven times. Allow the last ring to resonate throughout your body. If you have something you want to say, to God or The Goddess, now would be a good time to do this. When you are finished, say this prayer or chant:

“I know there is a higher
being than me.
I am not alone.
You are with me,
Day and night.
You’ve rode the lows
And watched the heights.
If angels are real,
I’m sure to have a guardian.
I am so thankful
And so grateful for your hand.
You’ve blessed me.
You’ve fed me
You’ve quenched my thirst
And even dressed me.
A ‘man,
A ‘man,
And Blessed Be.”

When you are finished, ring the bell seven more times, to end the ceremony

Casting a New Year’s Eve Protection Spell can provide many benefits. It can help to create a safe and secure environment for the coming year, allowing you to focus on your goals and dreams without fear or worry.

The spell also helps to purify and cleanse any negative energies that may be lingering from the past year, allowing you to start fresh in the new year.

Additionally, this spell can help to open up your intuition and raise your vibration, allowing you to better connect with the Universe and manifest your desires. Finally, this spell can help to protect you from any negative influences or energies that may be present in the coming year.

Tips for Making the Most of Your New Year’s Eve Protection Spell

Once you have cast your New Year’s Eve Protection Spell, there are a few tips to help you make the most of it:

  1. Take a few moments each day to visualize the protective shield of light surrounding you and your space.
  2. Speak aloud your intention for the spell each day, reinforcing its power.
  3. Carry a small piece of salt with you as a reminder of the protection that the spell provides.
  4. Spend time in nature to connect with the elements and draw on their energy for protection and renewal.
  5. Make sure to take time for self-care and relaxation, as this will help to keep your energy balanced and protected.
  6. Call upon planetary energies for additional protection and guidance. Planets that can offer energy and protection in the new year are Jupiter, Saturn, and the Moon.
  7. Finally, remember to thank the Universe or the gods for their protection and guidance.

By following these tips, you can make sure that your New Year’s Eve Protection Spell is working to its fullest potential.

Common Mistakes to Avoid When Casting a New Year’s Eve Protection Spell

When casting a New Year’s Eve Protection Spell, it is important to be mindful of the common mistakes that can occur. One of the most common mistakes is not setting a clear intention for the spell. Without an intention, the spell will lack focus and power.

There are times when it can be tempting to rush through the spell, but it is important to take your time and focus on each step. This will ensure that the spell is done correctly and with the right amount of energy.

Protection spells are very powerful, but if you do things that put you into a spiritually weak position, your protections can become fragile. Be sure to stay aligned with your highest self in what you do magically. If your highest self wouldn’t curse someone for stealing your parking spot, you probably shouldn’t either.

Finally, it is important to remember that protection spells are not a substitute for taking practical steps to protect yourself physically. While the spell can help to create a safe and secure environment, it is still important to take precautions such as locking your doors at night or avoiding dangerous situations.

By following these tips and avoiding common mistakes, you can ensure that your New Year’s Eve Protection Spell is effective and powerful.

How to Cast a New Year’s Eve Protection Spell

From eclecticwitchcraft.com

New Year’s Eve is a liminal time where the energies around us are more susceptible to change. As we look upon a new year full of possibilities and opportunities, it is important to start off the right way. Protecting ourselves, our family, and our space is something essential to do before we commence into the new year.

A New Year’s Eve Protection Spell can be a powerful tool to keep us safe and supported as we let go of the old year and prepare for the future.

Protection spells are powerful rituals that aim to safeguard oneself or one’s home from danger and harm. It is a fairly universal magical rite, often using symbols such as mirrors or images of guardian angels, to channel protective energies and ward off malicious intentions.

This type of spell often involves the use of charms, talismans and incantations; sacred objects like crystals, herbs and special tools may also be used to assist in the spell’s power.

Spell for Today – Refresh the Soul Spell and Walk Backwards Return Spell

Wednesday is a good day to focus on getting over any slumps you may have. This day is considered the middle of the work week; and many people find themselves very tired by this point. That is why this day is a great day to do refresh, refrain, return, wake-up, and concentration spells. It is, also, another good day for meditation.

Refresh Spells –Refresh the Soul Spell

Items you will need for this spell:

1 bottle of peppermint oil
1 white candle
1 lighter or match
Dress the candle with the peppermint oil, being careful about contact with the skin. Place the candle on a fire-safe surface and light it. Close your eyes for about a minute and just allow yourself to breathe in the peppermint aroma. Open your eyes and say this chant nine times:

“Breathe in, breathe out.
I’m refreshing.
I’m restoring.
I’m feeling revived.
My energy’s soaring.”

Keep breathing in the aroma and close your eyes again. When you are ready, open your eyes and blow out the candle. This should give you a feeling of being refreshed.

Return Spells – Walk Backwards Return Spell

Things you will need:

1 candle (any color)
1 lighter or match
Your body
Place a candle in front of you on a fire-safe surface. Sit or stand in a comfortable position in front of the candle and close your eyes for about three minutes. During the three minutes, think about what you want returned to you and how the item makes you feel. After the three minutes or so, get up and take twelve steps backwards and say this chant three times:

“Backwards walk.
Missing something yearned.
When I turn around,
It will be returned.”

After doing this, turn around three times, clockwise and stop. Now, go blow out the candle, and your item should be returned to you soon.

Sunday’s Witchery

Those ambitious, successful spells and charms will be heightened by working on the day of the week that has the planetary influence of the sun. So light those sunny candles, wear some luminous colors, and break out the gold jewelry! Bake up some cinnamon rolls or low-fat cinnamon muffins for an enchanting family breakfast. Take an orange with you to eat at lunch today. Try using a little magickal aromatherapy and burn some cinnamon-scented incense to encourage success and wealth today. Make the talisman to keep your solar magick with you. Sprinkle some dried marigold petals around your house-or across the threshold-to pull triumph and protection toward you and your family.

Get outside and tip up your face to the sun. Take a walk outside, and soak up some sunshine! Acknowledge the power of Sunna or Helios as they blaze across the sky and bring courage and motivation into your life. Sit outside at sunrise on a Sunday morning and bask in its warm, rosy-golden glow Acknowledge Brigid as the inner, creative spark of imagination and inspiration. She can help these gifts burn brightly within your own soul. Use your imagination and create your own brand of witchery and magick. Here comes the sun, and it’s your turn to shine!

A Crossroads candle spell is used when you cannot choose the left fork in the road or the right. This spell is for MAJOR decisions like moving, career, etc. I would strongly not suggest this spell for a choice between two men or women.

CROSSROADS SPELL

1 white candle
1 black candle
1 red candle
A packet of Cornnuts (original recipe) Toasted Corn
21 caramels
1 small bottle of rum
three cigars (unwrapped)
Three stick matches
21 pennies

Write a letter to the spirit of the Crossroads and tell him the situation that you cannot decide or which road or path to choose. Lay it out in good detail which is which – meaning, what will happen if you choose this road and what will happen if you choose that path.

Go to a 4 way crossroads at 11:30 pm preferably on a Sunday night, but any night will do if you need it NOW. Place letter in center of a 4 way crossroads (must be 4 way) that extends beyond 7 blocks in each direction. Place three candles in a triangle shape on letter, surrounded by the 21 pennies. Lay one cigar each at base of the candle. Place one of each of the stick matches in between each candle. Place caramels and open pack of Cornnuts and pour in center. Take a good draw of the rum into your mouth, swish it around, spit it in a spray-like pattern over all. Set rest of open bottle of rum down on paper. Light candles and walk away.

Do not, do not,DO NOT look back or look into rear view mirror when driving away.

Accept what happens and where this takes you.
