Fire and Water Energizing Ritual

Fire and Water Energizing Ritual

Tired, feeling worn out, no energy, need a quick energy boost. Then this spell is what you are looking for. It will revitalize you and make you feel like a new person. And the best thing about it, you can use it anytime you are feeling run down.

*Sit in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed–the best spot is outdoors near a body of water.

*Close your eyes, begin breathing slowly and deeply as you relax and center yourself.

*Imagine your spine is a tree trunk sending its roots deep, down into the earth’s center.

*Envision water (in the form of blue-green light) being drawn by these roots up through the base of your spine, into your body. See and feel the water flowing up your spine, through your chakras, cleansing, calming, and nourishing you. Imagine it spouting out the top of your head like a fountain and washing down over your body. Do this at least three times.

*Visualize the sun’s golden rays shining down on you and entering a portal in the top of your head. Sense these rays clearing away impurities and warming your body all the way down to the tips of your toes. Feel your breath mixing with the sunlight and swirling though your body to energize every cell. Continue this visualization for a few minutes, until you feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

Ok, What’s Up? Everybody is being way to quiet, lol!

Your scaring me, my dearest of friends! I still do have some don’t I? You don’t hate me, do you? When I make a major change in the site and then I don’t hear anything from you……I really get worried. I worry you don’t like the new changes and you won’t tell me.

We put this ezine out everyday for you and your enjoyment. If you aren’t enjoying it or we have made changes that you don’t like, let us know. We want to know. I had stated in an earlier post that we had received numerous request from people that are in time zones that are a day ahead of us. They wanted us to post our Daily Horoscopes and stuff on their day. I stopped to think about it, I can understand it. Who would want to read yesterday horoscopes? Just to find out what was suppose to happen? Then I thought the people in the States and that time zone would enjoy it because “look it 6:00 in the morning and theirs our horoscopes!”  Ok, I know you don’t get excited over the horoscopes, lol! But I thought all the way around it would be a good thing. Also word gets out that we are doing the day ahead horoscopes, we will pick up more friends and followers. The most important thing is that we will be attracting more people to our site and they will learn the truth about our Religion. That’s what it is all about anyway. Not Daily Horoscopes or Tarot Cards or even time zones, it is about spreading the truth about our Religion. I get excited just thinking about all the new countries that we might attract. That would be unbelievable.

But would you please let me hear from you? The silence is killing me!!!!

Oh, you did notice the menu at the top, didn’t you? I thought that would make it simple and easy for you to find what you are looking for. But if I have totally screwed up everything and you hate the way the site is now, let me know.

More Sadness Comments

Look, Up In The Sky, The Menu, Look Its Super Menu!

Well I am actually sleepy now. So I am getting ready to go to bed. I wanted to drop you a note real quick and let you know something. Since we divided up the Daily Posts up by time zones, we didn’t want you to have to dig for yours. So I added 2 new categories to the menu at the top of the page. You will see U.S. Horoscopes, etc., & Other Zone Horoscopes, etc.. Whichever applies to you, simply click there and hey, there’s your daily’s. I got to thinking about it and I knew it would be a mess, if you had to dig and hunt through all the posts. So this way, just click the tab at the top of the page and there is everything. Spells, witchcraft, wicca and other subjects will be put in their categories and show up in the main page. In other words, those subjects won’t be divided into time zones, lol!

I hope you enjoy this new feature. And all you people down under, I want to hear from you!!!!

Have a great day! I will see you later on this day.

Daily Motivator for October 1 – Discontent

Discontent

If you blame your discontent on others, that will just make it grow bigger  and more burdensome. Choose instead to embrace and to own that discontent fully,  and you can make it go away.

There can be all sorts of reasons why you’re unhappy with life. Yet it is not  those reasons that matter, but rather what you’re willing to think, to feel and  to do.

When you accept that your discontent is yours and yours alone, you can  quickly get beyond it. And though you may not be able to immediately change the  outer conditions, you can instantly change your inner perspective.

What can weigh you down is not what has happened, but how you have chosen to  respond. Choose to let go of the discontent, and free yourself to grab hold of  the most positive possibilities.

Whether the situation is your fault or not, doesn’t really matter now. Your  best strategy is to be sincerely thankful for where you are, and to move quickly  in the direction of where you wish to be.

Life can be tough on you, but you don’t have to be so tough on yourself. Let  go of your discontent, and let yourself soar to new, fulfilling heights.

Daily OM for October 1 – The Gift Inside

The Gift Inside

Life Packaging

We have all had the experience of encountering someone whose life seems so completely different from ours that we can almost imagine we have nothing in common. However, if we go deeper into observing, we will see that we all have the same things going on in our lives. It is as if our different lives are in essence the same gift, wrapped in an infinite variety of containers, wrapping paper, ribbons, and bows. Everybody experiences loss, grief, happiness, excitement, anger, and fear. Everyone can have money issues of one kind or another, and everyone struggles with difficult choices.

Our lives show up differently for each one of us because we each learn in different ways. One person may need to learn the value of money by having too little of it, while another may need to learn by having more than enough. We each learn about work and love, with experiences that are tailored to our particular perspective. Even as it appears that some people have it easy while others are in a continual state of struggle, the truth is that we are all learning, and it is very difficult to tell, when looking only at the exterior of a person, what’s going on inside.

This is one of the many things that can be so valuable about cultivating relationships with people from all walks of life. As we get to know those who seem so different from us, we get to really see how much of life’s challenges and joys are universal. We begin to look beyond the packaging of skin color, clothing preferences, and socioeconomic differences, hairstyles, and the cars we drive to the heart of the human experience. It is important to honor and value the differences in our packaging, but it is just as important to honor the gift of life inside each one of us, and the fact that, no matter how different the packaging, the gift inside is the same.

Quiz of the Day for Oct. 1 – Do You Get Enough Sleep?

Do You Get Enough Sleep?

by Annie B. Bond

Sleep is the physiological function that helps nourish our mind, body, and  soul, essential for good health and upbeat spirits. Better sleep gives you more  energy, improves your mood, makes you less prone to accidents and less  irritable, and increases your life span.

The National Commission on Sleep Disorders says, “America is seriously sleep  deprived, with serious consequences.“ Lack of sleep decreases productivity,  effectiveness, concentration, decision-making abilities, and physiological  immunity. Are you getting enough sleep for optimum mind, body, and spirit  wellness? Take this simple quiz and find out:

How many of these statements are TRUE for you?

1. I need to rely on an alarm clock to wake me up.

2. I often feel tired and foggy-headed.

3. I often doze off while watching TV or while sitting and reading.

4. I sometimes fall asleep in public places such as movie theaters or school  classes.

5. I sometimes get drowsy in a car–either as a driver or as a passenger.

6. Fatigue sometimes interferes with my daily activities.

If you answered TRUE to any of these questions, you could use more and  better-quality sleep.

Daily Feng Shui Tip for October 1 – ‘World Day of Bullying Prevention’

I know from past feedback that today’s tip absolutely works to push bullies to the side. So let’s spice up ‘World Day of Bullying Prevention’ by embracing an ancient technique. In certain Eastern and Oriental cultures, cinnamon is considered the ‘warm brown spice of friendship’ that also packs the power to fend off bullies. It is said that this spice bestows protection and strength while also destroying ‘enemies.’ A pinch in a pocket or a bit sprinkled inside a wallet (or anywhere else) will employ powers of protection that can conquer all kinds of fear. Now, that’s sweet!

Today’s I Ching Hexagram for October 1 is 49: Revolutionary Change

49: Revolutionary Change

Hexagram 49

General Meaning:  According to Chinese symbolism, the juxtaposed elements of this hexagram are fire under water. Fire evaporates water, and water puts out fire. Change can cause conflict; conflict brings about change. This hexagram refers to that time in the cycle of human affairs when things need stirring up, and when the hint of dramatic change is in the air.

In order to succeed, revolutionary change must be in alignment with certain unchanging laws. The process must begin at the right moment, gather support from a broad base of people, be guided by sincere and capable leadership and — most important of all — must address a real need. The strength of the forces of change will always be in proportion to the urgency of the need being championed. This is true whether the revolution is in government, in business, in education or in one’s personal affairs.

Revolutionary change points to a time when chaos arises from order. It is important to realize that not all order is good, not all chaos bad. Chaos, in fact, is an integral part of the way of things — as any parent (and modern science) will confirm. Have the courage to radically change and renew the way you present yourself. In this way, you can summon chaos to your cause, and you will unleash a new power on your behalf. If engaging in a negotiation, change the rules; if composing a piece of music, add the unexpected; if courting a lover, dare to be unconventional.

In periods of drought, even wild storms are preferable to yet another sunny day.

Your Tarot Card for October 1: The Devil

The Devil

This Tarot Deck: Folklore

General Meaning:  What has traditionally been known as the Devil card expresses the realm of the Taboo, the culturally rejected wildness and undigested shadow side that each of us carries in our subconscious. This shadow is actually at the core of our being, which we cannot get rid of and will never succeed in taming. From its earliest versions, which portrayed a vampire-demon, this card evoked the Church-fueled fear that a person could “lose their soul” to wild and passionate forces.

The image which emerged in the mid-1700’s gives us a more sophisticated rendition — that of the “scapegoated Goddess,” whose esoteric name is Baphomet. Volcanic reserves of passion and primal desire empower her efforts to overcome the pressure of stereotyped roles and experience true freedom of soul. Tavaglione’s highly evolved image (Stella deck) portrays the magical formula for harnessing and transmuting primal and obsessive emotions into transformative energies. As a part of the Gnostic message of Tarot, this fearsome passion and power must be reintegrated into the personality, to fuel the soul’s passage from mortal to immortal.

Your Daily Horoscopes for Monday, October 1

We are ready to initiate action and tackle new projects today with the Moon in courageous Aries. We may even jump into circumstances before thinking about the consequences. Fortunately, change works in our favor as the Moon trines lovely Venus this afternoon. However, we might hit a speed bump when the Moon opposes stern Saturn just before shifting into earthy Taurus at 7:26 pm EDT, slowing us down enough so we can regain a sense of balance.
Aries Horoscope
Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Hurry up and finish what you already started, or begin something new while you still have a chance. Either way, you’re feeling the pressure to take action right away as familiar surges of urgency wash over you like waves upon the beach. Between moments of active inspiration, you also may feel somewhat moody until the evocative Moon leaves your sign this evening. Although allowing time for contemplation is healthy, don’t let self-doubt hijack your day.

Taurus Horoscope
Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

It’s as if something is tickling your psyche today, yet it’s difficult to tell exactly what it is or where it’s coming from. You feel inspired, but you don’t have a clear strategy for applying your creativity. Your daydreams may be so vivid now that you’re standing on unfamiliar ground. Nevertheless, pay attention to your visions because they can help guide you through the days ahead.

Gemini Horoscope
Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

You may think that there’s no limit to what you might accomplish today, but actually there’s only so much you can juggle at one time. You must make some difficult choices now if you want something of lasting value to come from your current efforts. Don’t be a jack of all trades and a master of none. Setting priorities seems painful at first, but you’ll feel a whole lot better once you do.

Cancer Horoscope
Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

You want to make major progress at work now that the Moon is illuminating your 10th House of Career. However, it’s difficult to stick with just one project because your thoughts are running in several directions. Instead of attempting to focus on the most practical tasks at hand, let your fantasies take you where they will today. A deadline might slip under the radar, and, luckily, others are willing to adapt to your schedule. Currently you are more successful if you work at your own pace.

Leo Horoscope
Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

The pace of your life continues to settle down today. You Lions have been on the go for a while and it feels good now that you can grab a catnap or two. However, the focus isn’t on sleeping — it’s all about dreaming. Your subconscious is releasing powerful messages, and you may learn something very significant about yourself if you take the time to decipher the symbols.

Virgo Horoscope
Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Although you might want to sit back and enjoy the day, you quickly grow anxious when you’re idle for more than just a few minutes. Logically, you know you should be able to take some time for yourself, but you keep worrying about all the unfinished work that still needs to be done. Instead of trying to escape now, concentrate on your goals for the day. Thankfully, your extra effort pays off and you should be able to completely relax this evening.

Libra Horoscope
Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

It’s a rather noisy day and you prefer your life to be a little less hectic now. It’s not that there are too many things going on at once. It’s just that everything requires a little more of your attention than you expected. You wish that you could rely on others to help, but they have their own agendas to keep them busy. Get creative and take responsibility for your own destiny the best you can. Your calendar will become easier to manage as the week wears on.

Scorpio Horoscope
Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Although your intentions are good and you enjoy the appreciation you receive, you may feel overwhelmed if you take on too much work. You might be afraid of the proverbial straw that could break the camel’s back — and the camel is you. But there’s nowhere to run. Take a deep breath and accept that you need to follow through with your word to the best of your ability. Fortunately, the cosmos comes to your aid and things could work out much better than you expect.

Sagittarius Horoscope
Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

You feel driven today and have enough energy to do whatever must be done. You are moving into a highly optimistic phase where you might have a difficult time separating the reality of the situation from your belief that everything will be fine. Don’t fall asleep at the wheel of consciousness now, or you could wake up to find yourself crashing into reality. There’s nothing wrong with positive thinking as long as you accept the facts.

Capricorn Horoscope
Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Situations can manifest today that require your immediate involvement. You are great when it comes to organizing events, especially in the midst of dealing with minor crises. The problem is that your solutions may defy practical logic now. Make no mistake about it; this is a test and you can pass with flying colors if you trust your feelings and your intuition. Remember, the force is with you.

Aquarius Horoscope
Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

The energy seems a bit more settled today than it did yesterday. However, you might not even realize that you’re through the eye of the storm and are coming out on the other side now. The skies are clearing and clarity is returning. You are a survivor because your individuality prevents you from losing yourself completely to the agenda of others. You’ve had to fight for what is yours. Take time to reflect on your journey and appreciate your accomplishments.

Pisces Horoscope
Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

The currents of your feelings may be flowing too strongly for your taste today. You might be anxious because your emotions are in a state of transition. Don’t panic; you’ll be fine if you trust the process. Just think of yourself like a surfer riding the waves that arise from the depths of your imagination.

Your Love Horoscopes for the Week of October 1

The heat is on this Thursday as amorous Venus in romantic Leo forms an energizing square with passionate Mars in Scorpio. This cosmic intensity can provoke risky behavior, especially with the impetuous Aries Full Moon occurring on Saturday night. Expect the unexpected; radical changes in relationships are almost impossible to avoid. Keep your heart open and embrace the unknown.
Aries Horoscope
Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

This dramatic week peaks with the Full Moon illuminating your independent and impulsive sign on Saturday night. Revolutionary Uranus adds a shocking flavor to this lunation which may spur you to act recklessly. This spontaneity might work well if you’re open to experimentation or want to break free of old habits. Restlessness and rebellion, though, can kick up explosive feelings that trigger dramatic changes in a partnership. Be honest and flexible in your approach so you can enjoy new experiences without being destructive in the process.

Taurus Horoscope
Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

Surprises may come out of the blue with Saturday’s explosive Aries Full Moon lighting up your secretive 12th House of Privacy. Complicated feelings that you’ve hidden from others, maybe even from yourself, might suddenly surface. People seem unreliable now as attitudes and plans could change in an instant. Yet putting pressure on anyone is likely to backfire. Instead, allow yourself to accept strange emotional territory as if you were visiting a foreign country. Keep an open mind and be respectful to everyone you meet.

Gemini Horoscope
Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

Friends could entice you to do some unusual things on Saturday with an adventuresome Aries Full Moon landing in your 11th House of Groups. If you’re not normally into joining organizations, though, this might be the time to see what one can do for your personal life. However, your desire to explain your experiences could be difficult to fulfill. It’s better to let loose and accept a little weirdness than to force yourself to make sense of emotions and people that don’t fit your usual reality.

Cancer Horoscope
Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

Saturday’s Full Moon in impatient Aries is wired with hard aspects to volatile Uranus and provocative Pluto. This cosmic electricity occurs in your 10th House of Public Responsibility, making you feel like you have to put everything in order immediately. It’s healthier, though, to temporarily let go of your obligations than to try to control the behavior of others. If you can relax and enjoy the chaos, you might be surprised with how much fun it is to just go with the flow.

Leo Horoscope
Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Your weekend could be wild with an irrepressible Aries Full Moon shining in your 9th House of Faraway Places on Saturday. You may be restless and ready to run with radical Uranus opposing the radiant Sun. Whether you need to get away from the predictability of your current relationship or are single and seeking to stretch your horizons, breaking social rules and exploring unfamiliar territory is very appealing. Just remember this escapade is a test drive rather than a long-term commitment.

Virgo Horoscope
Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Saturday’s fiery Aries Full Moon shocks your 8th House of Intimacy and rattles relationships in surprising ways. This may include a sudden attraction to someone who is far from your usual type. It might also indicate a breakthrough with your current partner that leads to a new kind of connection. Basically, it’s time to free yourself from worrying about what others think, allowing you more space to explore emotionally and physically.

Libra Horoscope
Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

This may be a key week in your relationship life. Saturday’s electrifying Aries Full Moon lights up your 7th House of Partners and opposes the willful Sun in your sign. This volatility could attract unpredictable behavior by others, which can either be exciting or too weird for your taste. It’s better, though, for you to be the one who takes the initiative to break patterns and surprise people with a bolder and brasher approach to getting what and who you want.

Scorpio Horoscope
Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Thursday and Friday are both sweet and sassy with high potential in the romance department. The spiritual and sensitive Pisces Moon occupies your amorous 5th House, inspiring fantasies about love. The best part is that you have the ability to make these dreams real now. Bold Venus in Leo tangles with passionate Mars in Scorpio on Thursday, making almost anything sound slightly seductive. Set aside time to make the most pleasurable use of these persuasive powers while you have the chance.

Sagittarius Horoscope
Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Saturday’s scintillating Aries Full Moon sets your 5th House of Romance on fire with desire. You’re itching for excitement and hungry for fresh forms of fun. Variety is the spice of your life so use your imagination to create new ways to play. You might shock some people with strange ideas or by coming on too strong. It may be hard to pace yourself now when you’ve got love on the brain, but a tiny bit of patience will help your cause in the long run.

Capricorn Horoscope
Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Your approach to love is often mature and tempered by common sense and practicality. However, that kind of rational reasoning may not work well this week. A Venus-Mars square on Thursday steams up relationships with a complex mix of mistrust and desire. The intensity grows stronger with Saturday’s explosive Aries Full Moon, making the ground tremble in your 4th House of Roots. Letting go of the past is the best way to ride this cosmic wave of change into a more exciting future.

Aquarius Horoscope
Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

The impulsive Aries Full Moon meets up with your revolutionary ruling planet Uranus on Saturday, triggering some unpredictable behavior and inspiring some weird conversations. You’re no stranger to unusual ideas and might find it amusing to hear some new outrageous ones, but it can be unsettling when the cautious folks start talking crazy. If it’s amusing, join the party but if it’s not that funny, just slip away to clear your mind.

Pisces Horoscope
Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

The Moon in your psychically sensitive sign gets feelings flowing on Thursday and Friday. It’s natural to be tender when you’re a Fish, yet a manipulative person might undermine your trust in relationships now. Recognizing the difference between sex and love can help you determine how far you’re willing to go to gain the affection of another. Just because you find it easy to sacrifice your interests for someone else’s pleasure doesn’t mean that you should do it. Being true to yourself is the first step to figuring out what to do next.

Invocation to the Green Man of the Ivy

Hail, Green Man of the Autumn!
Ivy that twines up stone walls,
Who can hold up a house or tear it down,
Spiral dancer whose twisting
Echoes the material we are made of,
Wreath of the Maenads,
Kin to the red-caps in the faery rings,
You remind us that there is a price
For your twining sister’s intoxication.
Mute swan who outstretched wings
Are your elegant speech to the sky,
Ivy-girl of the final harvest,
You bind the last sheaf of wheat,
As mute testament to the failure
Of those whose work has not
Matched the speed of the turning year.
We bow our heads in supplication
Before you, ivy that winds us
And our dead in their sleeping places.
We hail you, sacred ivy,
Green Man of the Autumn,
On this the day of your binding.

(Each comes forward and plants a seed in the pot of soil, saying, “Hail Green Man of the Earth!” Water is poured onto the pot, and then the rest is poured out as a libation. Then all join hands and move in a silent spiral dance to the sound of slow drumming. Ring bell and dismiss.)
