Here’s the skinny on Mercury retrograde: Three times a year, Mercury “appears” to go backwards relative to planet Earth. There are also two shadow periods: beforehand, as it slows down; and afterwards, as it catches up to the degree it was when it went retrograde. Do we care? Yes! These are poor times to buy Mercury-related items: cars, trucks, bikes, computers, cell phones and printers. They are also poor times to initiate anything. Howevah! Mercury retrograde encourages introspection and it helps us finish old business. In two weeks, Mercury will slow down before going retrograde at the end of the month. This is a heads up for anyone who wants to begin something new. Remember: “Today is the first day of the rest of your life.” And for the procrastinators: So is tomorrow.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a productive week for you because both the Sun and your ruler Mars will help you get a lot done. “Oorah!” In fact, you’ll be so busy accomplishing things, you will start delegating to others. Midweek, you might feel less energetic for 48 hours. You might be confused about your motivation; or perhaps your energy will feel low. Whatever the case, don’t worry about this because it’s temporary. This is a lovely week to deal with those who are closest to you because your exchanges with others will be spontaneous. Taurus (April 20-May 20)
