Happy & Blessed Thursday to all my dear family & friends!

I hope everyone is having a great day. I am sorry we are running late. I went back to sleep this morning. This is the first morning we have actually had snow. Believe it or not, after almost dying from the “virus” I played in the snow for about 5 minutes. Enough for me, it is about 10 degrees here. I came back in and curled up and went back to sleep. Nobody came and knocked at the door to wake me up. Come to find out, we were all asleep. I’m sorry but there is something about getting cold and then warming up.

Now let’s see how fast we can get this publication going………

Luv & Hugs,

Lady A

Dream Journey To Manifest Your Desires

Dream Journey To Manifest Your Desires

Use this journey to help you manifest an important personal goal.

Just before you go to sleep, lay back skyclad and get as comfortable as you can. Shift your body slightly to get even more comfortable. Take a few deep breaths to center your awareness. Now, imagine you are a star of white light in the night sky. Merge into the starlight and become the head and limbs of a five-pointed star. Transform into a luminous star body and a disk of brillant light. Direct your starlight toward one person goal. Use your intention and breath to focus your awareness completely on that goal. Allow your feeling and energy to move your goal to its desired outcome. Move into the future for a moment and actually imagine successfully manifesting the results you desire. Merge with that desired outcome as deeply as you can for at least fifteen minutes. When you are done, drift to sleep.

The Witches’ Spell for Nov. 9th – Cursed or Blessed

sam9

CURSED OR BLESSED

You need:

Piece of burlap

piece of wool

piece of silk

Some polished stones (polished) from a river or stream

A live leaf

A bowl of fruit and/or bread

A dead branch

Lay the silk, wool and burlap at the foot of your bed in that order. About 5 feet from the foot of your bed, toward the left, lay the branch. About 5 feet from the foot of your bead, toward the right, place the bowl.  The branch is the barren curse and the bowl is the bountiful life that withers the curse.  Lay one stone on each cloth then lay a path from the wool, straight down the center, between the bowl and the branch.  The stones must touch. At the end lay the leaf.  By laying the stones, you show respect for the fates and the balance of life.  Light three candles and incense and meditate over the rite.  Sleep without touching the items.  When you wake, watch how much the stones have moved.  If they bias the branch, you are cursed.  If they bias the bowl, you are blessed.  If it doesn’t move, no outside force is affecting you.  If you are cursed, how far it has moved will determine the strength of the curse. Reset the path, and that night, light the three candles and the incense and meditate again over the rite.  Sleep again without touching anything. The path should have moved less than the first time.  Repeat this every night until the path stays in the middle.  Next, move the path toward the bowl following the same meditation and sleep process as before.  Continue this every night until the path stays at the bowl.  When it has done so, you may complete the rite.  Touch nothing, but for the three following nights, meditate over the rite, to seal your new fate.  The stones must be returned to the river or stream where you got them from .  The branch must be returned to the forest floor where you found it, and the leaf cast to the wind.  The bowl of fruit must be eaten,  and the cloth must be saved in a dark place, undisturbed.

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’ for October 25th

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’
By Joyce Sequichie Hifler

To so many, getting up in the morning is the worst way to begin a day. To them every morning is the morning after, a time to feel nervous anxiety and regret in the deepest sense, while to others morning is a new world. Yesterday ceased to be with sleep last night.

How much better off we’d be if only for a few hours we could put out of our minds every painful thought and every unpleasant person until the mind and body could find enough new life to begin again.

“The early morning hath gold in its mouth,” wrote Franklin. But it has things more precious than gold. It has life as fresh and sweet as the shimmering, clinging dewdrops in the first rays of golden sunlight. It has the grace of mimosa leaves rippling in the gentlest breeze. It has the songs of the birds and the love of a new awakening.

And in this breathless creation is something more. A new opportunity, another chance, a challenge to walk on, more strong, more forgiving, more loving.

Sleep deep and rest sweet, but rise glad. Don’t let one joyful second be lost in dead oblivion. This is a vision of newness awaiting even the least to arise and accept the best – a new beginning.

Morning need not be a jury trial for oneself. Dawn and sleep can be a miraculous cleansing to set us out on our feet ready to begin again and in a friendlier atmosphere. We must feel friendly toward ourselves before we can possibly find morning good to anyone else.

An unknown writer once wrote, “Every morning lean thine arms awhile upon the window sill of heaven, and gaze upon thy Lord, then, with the vision in thy heart, turn strong to meet thy day.”

We need to be strong to meet the day with self control, to find out reason and purpose, but, more important, to leave behind us the heavy and darkened thoughts that kept us from seeing the breathtaking beauty of the most important time – this morning.

Quiz of the Day for Oct. 1 – Do You Get Enough Sleep?

Do You Get Enough Sleep?

by Annie B. Bond

Sleep is the physiological function that helps nourish our mind, body, and  soul, essential for good health and upbeat spirits. Better sleep gives you more  energy, improves your mood, makes you less prone to accidents and less  irritable, and increases your life span.

The National Commission on Sleep Disorders says, “America is seriously sleep  deprived, with serious consequences.“ Lack of sleep decreases productivity,  effectiveness, concentration, decision-making abilities, and physiological  immunity. Are you getting enough sleep for optimum mind, body, and spirit  wellness? Take this simple quiz and find out:

How many of these statements are TRUE for you?

1. I need to rely on an alarm clock to wake me up.

2. I often feel tired and foggy-headed.

3. I often doze off while watching TV or while sitting and reading.

4. I sometimes fall asleep in public places such as movie theaters or school  classes.

5. I sometimes get drowsy in a car–either as a driver or as a passenger.

6. Fatigue sometimes interferes with my daily activities.

If you answered TRUE to any of these questions, you could use more and  better-quality sleep.

Blessings To You On The Beautiful Monday Morning!

Good Morning, my dear friends! How is everyone today? I am feeling a little better but still sick. I get tickled when I get sick. I have Kiki, Razzy and Stinker all hovering over me like I’m dying. If only they had arms and hands, lol! They are sweet though. Every time I cough or sneeze, Kiki runs and gets hubby. He comes in here and want to know what is wrong. Kiki is so protective it isn’t even funny. If I fall asleep at the computer, asleep in the floor, up sleep walking, you name and I ain’t suppose to be doing it, she runs and gets hubby. He told me that was a good thing, I guess it is. But he doesn’t realize, some of those places I fall asleep at, I am sooooo comfortable, lol! Now as far as the sleep walking goes, she can go and get him all night long. The doctors’ have tried medication and everything possible. I still sleep walk. That last time I can remember sleep walking, I woke myself up out on the porch. If it hadn’t been for a loose board that I stumped my toe on I would probably ended up in jail. I woke up with a rifle in my hand and I had intentions of shooting the dogs next door. Which is totally against my nature! I remember going to bed angry because the dogs wouldn’t stop barking. I guess while I was asleep, I just kept dwelling on it. I finally just got up in my sleep and grabbed the rifle and off I went. I can guarantee you, hubby has all the guns with him now, lmao! Must be afraid I might mistake him for a doggie, lol!

Well I am going to get busy. If you have a moment today, stop by the Apothecary. I am going to be putting some spell kits on there. They are going to reasonable, I promise. The biggest part of them range from 5 to 7 dollars.

Going to fly for now! Have a super, fantastic Monday and remember to keep all our friends down South in your prayers.

Goddess Bless You & Yours,
Lady A

Spell To Make You Dream Of The One You Love

Spell To Make You Dream Of The One You Love

Items You Will Need:

  • An Object

The Spell:

Find something that symbolizes the person you want to dream of, such as a photo, something they gave you, something they said to you written on paper, etc. Just before going to sleep, recall your most favorite memories with them, then hold the object on your heart and chant:

With these treasured memories,
sweet dreams of you shall come to me.
The way you laugh, the way you smile,
my heart, it skips, it leaps a mile.
Your gentle breath, your tender touch,
I long for you, so very much.
Your lips so soft, your eyes so bright,
I need you on this lonely night.
Let me feel you, smell your scent,
taste your mouth, you’re heaven sent.
Close me in your warm embrace,
and make my heart begin to race.
Pull me ever closer, near,
tell me what I need to hear.
Fulfill my every earthly desire,
until my passion roars like fire.
As is my will, this shall be done,
my magick dream has now begun!

Put the object under your pillow after reading the chant and then go to sleep straight away! 🙂 Enjoy!

Please Accept My Apologizes for Yesterday

Sorry Images, Pics, Comments, Graphics, Photos

Before I start today, I would like to apologize to all of my dear friends. Yesterday was pitiful on my part as far as the daily postings go. I am so sorry. I had been up since 2:30 a.m., that morning. I had cleaned the house, washed clothes and also went outside and did yard work. By the time it was to do the postings, I thought I was fine. But I sit down and the next thing I knew, I was so sleepy. I couldn’t hold my eyes open. I was falling asleep between posts and I couldn’t remember what I had posted and hadn’t. Finally, I just slid out of the chair and into the floor. I finally woke up at 7:00 p.m., yesterday evening.

I felt so bad about not getting my work done here. I know you come here each day for certain posts. I know if I don’t get them done, you will quit coming and I don’t want that. I have made some good friends and I don’t want to loss any of you.

So, please forgive me. I promise I will do better. I won’t say it won’t never happen again. Most of you know of my bionic back, my medicine for it also plays a big part in my passing out. Because most of my medicine is for pain and to keep me calm and relaxed. So when I have been without sleep, it sort helps me to pass out when I take my next dose.

But again, I am very sorry for the mess yesterday was. Now on to what is important, today’s postings. And I promise I won’t fall asleep, lol!

Love to you all,

Lady A

A Colored Hat For All Reasons (Blood/Harvest Moon)

Use this spell to solve a specific problem.

You will need a comfortable chair and a hat. Use the color of hat that corresponds to the problem you want to ponder: white and purple for spiritual matters, pink for love, green for health, and blue and red for problems regarding business  or your life’s quest.

Sit down in your comfortable chair with your colored thinking hat by your side, and think about the problem for a few minutes. With both of your hands, place the hat on your head and say:

“Divine hat of wisdom
Give me insights into my problem.”

Relax in your chair by sitting back and taking several deep breaths. Imagine a bright light shining down from the hat into your mind. The light shines everywhere looking for the solution to your problem. Take several more deep breaths and sense yourself letting go of the problem and thinking of he best thing that happened to you today.

Set the hat near the head of your bed before you go to sleep. While drifting to sleep, give yourself the suggestion that the solution to our problem will be clear to you by morning.

  • Oh, no! Not ANOTHER learning experience!
  • The only cure for insomnia is to get more sleep.

  • My life has a superb cast, but I can’t figure out the plot.

Special Kitty of the Day for August 10th

Phoebe, the Cat of the Day
Name: Phoebe
Age: Two years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Tuxedo
Home: Jackson, Michigan, USA
Phoebe loves to be “inside” anything, her tunnel, the cupboard, bowl or pots that are left out, the waste basket. She’s our “party girl” who will play with anything or anyone who will participate. She loves chasing her sister, littermate, Rachel. She comes when called and wants to be cuddled whenever her “mom” sits down.

Phoebe is a lover. She will lay in your arms, baby style, for as long as you want or the blood quits flowing to your arms. She will reward you with loud purrs for your time. She is very shy when it comes to strangers and will hide behind the clothes dryer until you give her the “ok” sign. She will come whenever you call her name in hopes of food, play or cuddling. She’s a talker and usually has a lot to say. She’s small in stature but has a loud voice. Mornings are “family” time and she will lay on the towels or get inside a shelf to watch you shower. She rides pretty well in the car and likes to sleep on the dash instead of in the carrier. She finds the strangest places to sleep (notice the picture of her in the bowl). When she was a kitten, she liked to sleep in the Puffs tissue box.

I hope this gives you an idea of what a special little girl she is.

Phoebe, the Cat of the Day

Happy, Happy Monday!

Good Morning all you lovely people! It is a bright, bright sun shiny day here. I hope the weather is the same wherever you are. I went to sleep last night and slept like a baby. I went to sleep during one of my favorite shows, “Snapped.” I like all the murder mysteries. My husband tells me I have a warped mind. But I have converter him over to “Criminal Minds.” That is about the only one he will watch with me. While the show is going on, he wants all the background to each of the characters. Right in the middle of the show, now! It occasionally gets on my nerves especially when they are playing a new one. I told him the other night I was going to print him out   a score card, maybe that would help, lol! All he wants to watch on the TV is shows about Hitler. I asked him, “how many times can that man kill himself.” Every time I leave during the afternoon, he expects me to come home with a movie. If I don’t he looks like he has lost his last friend. I like he gives me lectures about how we need to cut back but we can afford a movie. I guess that is why we are cutting back were we can watch the movies. I wonder how they would taste with salt and pepper on them! Have a great one!
