This spell is a classic and perfect for anytime you’re looking for a new job. To get the best effect, make sure that your resume is up to date and well formatted and then you need to actually submit your resume! This spell doesn’t work if you don’t apply to jobs. Your spell copy of the resume stays on your altar until you have the new job, after you have the job you can bury it on your property or store it somewhere safe help you keep the job.

You Will Need:

  • Your printed resume
  • A candle
  • Items  that make you think of wealth (I like $2 bills, coins, gold items,  statues of any beings you want to call on, extra candles, patchouli  incense, etc.)
  • Money Oil

Take your printed resume and write what you want out of your new job on the back. Put the resume on your altar. Place a candle on top of the resume and surround it with items that represent wealth to you. If you’ve found that perfect job and you’re trying to get hired somewhere specific, write the name of the company on the top of the paper and then write your name over it.

Put a drop of money oil (you can buy this or find a recipe and make your own) on each of the 4 corners of the resume and 4 drops onto the candle. A green or gold candle works well but white candles will also do. Light the candle, make petitions, pray, or use affirmations as you like. This spell is a good one to tend weekly, daily if you’re in a hurry and need that job asap. To tend the spell, simply add more oil, light the candles, and spend some time praying or making petitions/affirmations.

Spell For Tuesday – Ritual for Success

This ritual is customizable according to the kind of goal you would like to achieve.

Sometimes we feel ‘weakened’ by the many obstacles that seem to arise in our life, often making it difficult; sometimes everything seems complicated and difficult. And so, we need something ‘special’ to go back to being the lions and lionesses who conquer their own lives!

When we want to feel stronger and when we want to change the energies around us in order to increase the positive possibilities, this simple ritual can help. It is to be done on Tuesdays at noon solar time and at one summertime (specifically: at noon, you must light the candles, which will have been prepared according to the method described by the preparation of candles, minutes or hours before, depending on the time you have available).

The goal of this ritual was to restore winning energies around the person in question (but, as you know, you can do it for yourself; in this case, choose a stone that is significant for you, even crystal, after having purified it as I did).

The candles should be loaded (read the page on how to load the candles if you don’t know how) before the ritual.

The arrangement of the candles is:

White candle in the north, yellow candle in the center, and orange (or red) candle at the bottom. You will be seated behind the red candle.

Since the goal of this ritual was to increase the life force of the person in question so that it attracts positive or successful situations and events, there aren’t any specific words we can use.

I wrote two lines specific to the situation and recited them aloud like the other spells.

Like this:

  1. as the white candle burns, I become more and more protected from the light
  2. as the yellow candle burns, I get stronger and stronger (or: I am successful in…)
  3. as the red (or orange) candle burns, I get stronger and stronger (or: I am successful in…)

Type of candles to use:

As you can see, I used very low candles; now that I have the experience, I work with almost all types of candles; if I use these bases, I always purify/load them by first removing them from the metal casing and, once loaded, putting them back in the casing.

If you use candles in glass cups you have to do the same thing (load them by removing them from the glass), so I almost never use them in glass cups (I find that they are difficult to extract).

Regarding the ideal timing for this type of ritual, I would say it would be this:

Unless you perform rituals that last seven days, using larger candles than the ones shown here doesn’t make sense (they would last too long).

Generally (but, as you can see from my example above, not always!)

I use ‘naked’ candles (like the ones next to them), without metal or glass enclosures. But, as I said, it doesn’t matter, as long as they are prepared (consecrated and loaded) without the wrapping.

If you use high-quality candles, they should burn completely; otherwise, there will be leftovers (you burn the whole candle, but sometimes there is some ‘melted’ wax around): these should be put in a hidden place in the house or in a place where you often go if it is a matter of propitiatory rites (positive); otherwise, as you know, the remnants of the rites to eliminate obstacles and specific negativities must be buried far from home.

Floorwashes are a traditional–and discreet–method of casting spells. The herbal infusions are used to radiate magickal power, drawing or repelling your desire as the case may be. Floorwashes are used to scrub front steps to provide spiritual protection and attract free-spending customers. Within a building, the term “floorwash” is somewhat deceptive, in general, this is more of a  “floor final rinse.” It is assumed that the floor is clean prior to applying the spell floorwash: the floorwash isn’t rinsed off, but should be allowed to dry and radiate its fragrance and power. The physical labor involved in applying the floorwash also enhances the casting of the spell your effort transmits your intentions and desires.

  • Scrub the walkway and the doorway of your business, beginning at the street and moving toward your front door, just the way customers should

  • Scrub the front steps

  • Cleanse the interior floors beginning at the front door and corners and working toward the center of each room

Tommorow the Moon will be in a Waning Crescent phase. In this phase the Moon’s illumination is growing smaller each day until the New Moon. During this phase the Moon is getting closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing the Earth with only a small edge of the Moon being illuminated. This phase is best viewed an hour or 2 before the sunrise and can be quite beautiful if you’re willing to get up early. It can also be a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the edge where the illuminated portion meets the dark side, the craters and mountains cast long shadows making them easier to observe with a telescope or binoculars.

The Moon today is in a First Quarter phase. This phase occurs roughly 7 days after the New Moon when the moon is one quarter of the way through its orbit around the earth. Exactly half the moon will be illuminated and half dark. On the day of the First Quarter phase the moon is high overhead at sunset and is visible until mid-night when it sets in the west. The First Quarter phase is a one day event and in the following days enters a Waxing Gibbous phase becoming more illuminated each day until the Full Moon.

Ingredients:
1 small cauldron
1 small green or brown charm bag
3 silver coins
Cinnamom
Cedar oil
A small table to use as an altar

Spell:
Place a little dish or cup inside the cauldron with a small amount of cinnamon and cedar in it. Lay the three coins next to it on your altar. Tap each coin with the forefinger of the hand you write with (your power hand) and chant:

“Glistening silver coin of the Moon,
Shiny and round, bring me a boon.
Draw to my hands many more of your kind.
Multiply, grow, like the image in my mind.

Place the coins in the cauldron with the herbs and three drops of oil. Using your power hand, stir the air clockwise seven times over the cauldron and chant:

“Earth elements, cunning and bright,
Share you treasures here on this night.
Share with me riches of silver and gold,
Success, prosperity, all I can hold.”

Place the herbs and the coins in the talisman bag. Carry this with you until the Full Moon goes through her phases and returns to Full.

New Moon Job Spell

Another good spell purpose for the new moon is getting a new job. If you’re seeking new employment, try this ritual out. Get your supplies out:

  • 2 white candles
  • 2 green candles
  • 2 gold candles
  • 2 pieces of malachite and tiger eye
  • Cinnamon oil

Line up the candles, alternating the colors. Anoint each one with cinnamon oil, and rub a little oil on the stones too. Start at one end and light each candle. With each one, repeat these words:

A new career is what I desire,
I cast this spell to get a hire.
By the light of this new moon,
I need a new job soon.

After all the candles are lit, take each stone and gently pass it through the flames (careful of your fingers). Then hold the stones in your hands and visualize the type of job you want to get. After the spell, pocket the stones and carry them with you. You should have a new job by the next new moon.

NEW JOB CANDLE BURNING MAGICK

You Will Need:
Goddess Candle
God Candle
Incense
Green Candle
Good Luck Oil
Black Candle Banishing Oil
Petitioner Candle

Build your altar. Place the Petitioner candle beneath the Goddess candle and place the green and black candles beneath the God candle. Light the incense. Anoint the black candle with banishing oil and say,

” Empower this candle to absorb all negative forces acting upon (Person’s name).
As this candle burns, let it’s powers engulf all obstacles in his/her way,
leaving their path clear for success.”

Light the black candle. Anoint green candle with good luck oil and say,

“I empower this candle to bring (Person’s name) good luck, prosperity and success
in acquiring a new and better job. As this candle burns, so might it
be a beacon for good fortune and prosperity.”

Light the green candle. You need not anoint the petitioner candle, but focus strongly on this person
(see your friend in their ideal job) as you light it, saying,

“As this candle represents {name}, let it be a beacon for positive forces and energies.
As this candle burns bright, so does the light of {names}’s heart burn bright with ambition
and desire for a new, better job.”

Concentrate firmly, directing your power to the petitioner candle, which is receiving the energy from the green candle that is burning. After ten minutes or so of concentration, extinguish the candles in the reverse order in which you lit them. Each day, repeat the spell, moving the green candle two inches closer to the petitioner.

Your spell is complete when the two candles touch.
