A Spell for Today – Love Apple Cocktail

 

Love Apple Cocktail

This cocktail is meant to arouse desire. Stir together in a saucepan 2 cups of tomato juice, 1 bay leaf, 1 teaspoon of basil, and a dash each of dill and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer the mixture for three minutes, then chill it in the refrigerator. Strain the beverage before serving. Dill is powerful enough to bring on proposals of marriage, so if you’re not interested in marriage, you substitute with celery salt!

 

Love Drink

3 cl (~ 0.34 fl oz) of liquor*
The thin peel an juice from 1⁄2 lemon
1 dl (~ 3.4 fl oz) of liquid honey
1 dl (~ 3.4 fl oz) of sugar
1 cinnamon stick
5 tbsp of coriander
5 fennel seeds
a pinch of dried sage
A pinch of dried rosemary
A larger pinch of dried basil
A couple of chopped almonds
A few lavender flowers
A bit of saffron for love and color

Let it soak for at least 1 month, taste, strain and let it rest for 6 months. Bring it up on a cold night an pour it carefully into the glass, so that none of the sediment gets in. Offer your partener a glass and enjoy the effect!!

In fact, defeat is almost assured if you are ruthless or underhanded. This week nice guys do not finish last. They finish first! (And they dress quickly, too.)

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This is an intense week. The downside is that maddening, goofy errors will dog your steps regarding banking details or anything to do with inheritances and shared property. The upside is that you can finish matters that have been dragging on for a while. Start looking for ways to travel for pleasure because for sure you will have this opportunity in the next few weeks. This continues to be the ideal time to work alone or behind the scenes. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of nasty confrontations with parents, bosses, teachers and the police, especially at the beginning of the week. You won’t win if you wade into an argument. You will lose and you will regret it. Timing is everything. You have to know when to hold and when to fold. Meanwhile, you have been in contact with friends from the past and perhaps members of groups you haven’t seen for a while. Make the most of this. Some of you are also involved in a secret love affair. Others will welcome moments of solitude in beautiful surroundings so that you can catch your breath and make life easier and kinder.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You care about the environment and social issues. any of you are the first to start a petition or urge others to sign one. This week you might get carried away and become involved in an argument about politics, racial issues or religious matters. Don’t do this. Not this week. Stand back and don’t get involved in contentious subjects because the result will be nasty. This is one of those situations where you have to be prudent in order to live to fight another day. Timing is everything. Small wonder you are encountering bosses and authority figures (including parents) you haven’t seen for a while. The good news is you will enjoy the warmth of friends, especially creative, artistic people. Go with what works.

It’s a wonderful time to take a course or go back to school. Meanwhile, you create a fabulous impression on bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. (They think you walk on water.) Obviously, with this great press, now is the time to make your pitch or ask for a favour or do what you can to advance your agenda. Having said this, there is a spot of trouble in paradise. Disputes about shared property, inheritances, or something that you own jointly with others will arise and be nasty. Avoid these if you can, especially at the beginning of the week.

Jasmine absolute
Rose attar
Neroli or essential oil of petitgrain
Gardenia absolute (or fragrance oil)
Tuberose absolute

Blend the above into apricot kernel or sweet almond oil. This is the most deluxe love-drawing oil. The ingredients are extremely expensive. It is not required that all of them be used, although the first three are fairly standard. The substitution of petitgrain for neroli will keep the costs down.

 

 

Amor Oil

Place a balm of Gilean bud and a piece of coral inside a bottle
Cover these with sweet almond and jojoba oils

Add a few drops of either petitgrain or neroli essential oil plus a drop of tangerine essential oil
Add a bit of ground cinnamon or one drop of essential oil of the cinnamon leaf.

1 tbsp of Honey

2 Passion fruit flowers

1 handful of white Rose petals

1⁄2 cup of water

Mix it all together. While you mix the ingredients, you visualize your or the other one’s home filled with love and light. Put the mixture in a jar or bottle and place it where you can look at it every day.

Love Potion #1

Fill a small pot with a handful of rosemary leaves, thirteen anise seeds, two cloves, three rose geranium leaves, a tablespoon of honey, and some grapefruit juice. Place the pot over a fire and bring the brew to a boil. Strain the mixture through a sieve. Add some of the liquid to a glass of wine or fruit juice, and then serve it to the man or woman from whom you desire love, or use it as an offering.

 

Love Potion #2

In a small pot, put one cup of Spring water, 1/4 cup grapefruit juice, 1 teaspoon fennel, 1 teaspoon vervain, 3 pinches of nutmeg. Place the pot on a fire, or on the stove in a stainless steel pot, and bring it to a boil. Sit before the pot with a pink candle, and concentrate on the man or woman from whom you wish love, chanting his or her name out loud for thirteen minutes. Remove the pot from the fire and strain the potion through cheesecloth. Add a bit of honey to sweeten the potion and give it to the one you desire. Be sure to prepair and administer the potion on a Friday night.

Sunday’s Magickal Philter Recipe for Health, Wealth & Success

 

You will need:
• A small decorative glass bottle with a lid or a stopper
• A clean dropper to easily add the essential oil
• A tiny golden sun charm
• 6 inches gold ribbon
• A label and a pen (to list the ingredients and to decorate and mark the bottle) /8 cup base oil like sunflower oil
• 9 fresh or dried sunflower petals
• Small chips or a tiny piece of carnelian
• 13 drops essential carnation oil

Pour your base oil into the bottle until the bottle is three quarters of the way full. Then add the tiny carnelian chip, the sunflower petals, and finally the essential carnation tion oil. Add the lid, hold your fingers over the top to avoid any spills, and then carefully fully shake up the mixture.

Hold up the mixture to the sunlight and allow the sun’s beams to illuminate the mixture within. Wipe off the outside of the bottle and use the label to list the ingredients and the use of the potion.

Finally, decorate the bottle by attaching the label and tying the gold ribbon around the neck of the bottle. Add the golden sun charm to the streamers of the ribbon so it is visible from the front of the bottle. Knot the charm into place. As you finish tying the bow, hold the bottle in your hands and repeat the charm below:
