Listen and Open Up Spell

Listen and Open Up Spell

A Spell to help someone listen and open up to you.

If ever there is a time that you need someone else to hear what you are saying, try this simple spell. Position yourself so that you are sitting lower than the person you wish to speak with. Visualize a wall between the two of you, a wall that is made of collapsible material. Imagine a sharp object, such as a sword, in your hand and something such as a shield in his/her hand. “Put” your sword down and watch the wall crumble away. In you mind, ask the person to set aside their shield as well. Ask the person to speak what is on their mind. Allow them to talk as long as they need to while you only listen. Their defenses will slowly melt and they will become more open to hearing what you have to say.

Identify a Liar Spell

Identify a Liar Spell

By Ghost Writer

Spell to expose a liar.

Components:

Copal

Instructions:

Traditionally, copal has been used to cause dishonest people to slip the truth. If you feel that someone is lying to you, or to prevent dishonesty, burn copal and allow it to fill a room completely. Invite the person you suspect into the room. If they lie, they will expose themselves through what they say or by some obvious visual clue.

Charms Against Rivals

Charms Against Rivals

By Migene Gonzales-Wippler

An Indian incantation used by a woman against a rival.

There are a very large number of these spells. They follow, in general, the established pattern of identifying the invocant with some supernatural power. After reciting the statement that he (or she) is thus super-endowed with magickal force, the spirit is called upon to exercise its good offices in favour of the operator. Some charms involved the digging up of a plant with suitable incantations. This spell is used by a woman against a rival, to ensure that she does not get married.

This woman’s power, her good fortune, her advantages, have all come to me. She no longer has them. She will, like the mountains, sit in her parents’ house (she will not be married).

O Yana, great King, this woman will be there for thee, and for none other. She will have to remain in the household of her mother, her father or her brother!

She will keep the house for none other than thee, King Yana; to thee I have presented her! She will remain with her family until she has no hair left!

O woman, thy fortune is covered, concealed by me, as within a deep box. This is done in the name of Asita and Kasyapa and of Gaya. It shall remain hidden!

Breaking A Curse

Breaking A Curse

Components:

Square of black cloth

Tablespoon of Curry

Tablespoon of Dill

Tablespoon of Vervain

Tablespoon of Powdered Ginger

Consecrated Black Candle

Paper

Black Ink

Black string, knotted nine times

Instructions:

On the first night of the waxing moon, gather the following ingredients:

A square of black cloth a little larger than your hand

1 tablespoon of curry

1 tablespoon of dill

1 tablespoon of vervain

1 tablespoon powdered ginger

1 consecrated black candle

Paper and black ink pen

1 black string, knotted nine times

On paper, write the full name and birthdate (if known) of the person who has cursed you. Place the paper in the center of the bag. One at a time, add the herbs, covering the slip of paper. Next, take the lit candle and drip 5 – 10 drops of wax over the paper and herbs.

Visualize the person who has cursed you and say their name aloud three times while tying the bag shut with the knotted string. The final step is to bury the bag someplace on the property of the person who cursed you. The bag must remain there undisturbed until the next Waxing Moon. At that time, dig up the bag and burn the contents. This will weaken that person’s power (usually until the night of the Full Moon) and the curse.

Instructions:

This spell from New Orleans encourages a love rival to turn his or her attention elsewhere and is best done on Friday or Saturday night during a Waning or New Moon. On the outside paint the letter “X” three times in dragon’s blood ink. Douse the entire charm know as a gris-gris in New Orleans in lime juice. Before dawn, take the charm to your rival’s home and toss it onto the lawn saying:

“By this spell, you must find a love that steals your heart and mind. Turn your heart from my love, and  make a new start.”

All About Our Brothers and Sisters who are Capricorns

Introducing…Capricorn

There are many theories on why the Capricorn Goat is often portrayed as half goat-half fish. All stories seem to have common threads around the hard working and sexually intense nature of Capricorn personalities. Capricorns enjoy hard work and enjoy the pleasures and satisfaction of intense physical contact. They thrive on difficult or complex problem solving. It is thought that the Capricorn goats struggle with taking the same intensity they have toward their work into their bedroom.

Their aggressive passion and sexual nature was frowned upon by the Greek Gods. The Gods decided to punish him so they turned his lower half into a fish so he could no longer act on his sexual desires. As a result his sexuality was stunted and all that repressed energy was redirected into an intense focused work ethic. So our modern day Capricorns have hints toward this repressed sexuality. They enjoy work and struggle with their need and inability to let loose physically. So, we decided to represent this persona as a very hard working character. He’s completely focused on getting the job done. His large wrench conveys his ability to tackle any job, any size. It also can be used to fine tune the tension of his tale, adjusting his direction and control his sexual desires.

Physical Characteristics

Physically, our Capricorn is not necessarily well kept and clean. He’s less concerned with his physical appearance. He looks at life as a big job that needs to be done. He’s concerned with doing it right, not necessarily how he looks doing it. He has a handy apron to keep his tools at the ready. Again, functional clothes are more important than fashion to our Capricorn goat.

His eyes are focused. Intense but not threatening. His expression is one of intense thought and focus. He’s generally not looking at someone, but rather through someone. He’s not scary or mean, he’s on the side of progress and will jump from camp to camp if it means he can complete something he starts.

Zodiac Super Power

Our Capricorn’s super power are his goggles. He wears them on his head and puts them on when he needs to see details through chaos. He can refine and drill down to the smallest grain of sand in a dust storm. He can focus amid chaotic smoke storms. His goggles act as night vision when others can not see obvious solutions, our Capricorn can. He will put his goggles on and get the job done. His ability to stay calm focused on solutions makes him the most reliable and diligent sign of the Zodiac.

Daily Horoscopes for Sunday, December 23rd

Life may feel a bit tame after the past few high-energy days, and we quickly relax into the more emotionally stable terrain. The Moon’s visit to laid-back Taurus enables us to find pleasure from simple activities like reading a book, walking in nature or just hanging out with friends and family. But it still might be tricky to fully enjoy the present moment if we’re worrying about what happened yesterday or finalizing plans for the holidays.

Aries Horoscope

(Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Even if you’re longing for a less complicated life, you may have unfinished business to complete before you can separate yourself from the complexity you have created. Although your path appears clearer today, it could take quite a bit of determination in order to reach your destination. Be careful not to become overly complacent with the status quo because it’s not time to let up yet. Putting in extra effort now helps to ensure that you’ll have more time to rest later on.

Taurus Horoscope

(Apr 20 – May 20)

Now that the Moon has returned to your sensual sign, it’s time to soak in the emotional nurturing that is being offered to you. However, it may be a challenge to stop your mind from spinning today. You could be thinking about so many things that your thoughts zip by just beyond your reach. You might even make yourself frustrated if you try to put your fantastic ideas to work. Thankfully, it’s not about productivity now; sit back and enjoy the process without worrying about the results.

Gemini Horoscope

(May 21 – Jun 20)

You can’t remain quiet and let something important slip by today without adding your two cents. In fact, you’re driven to speak your mind now because you’re very clear about your own convictions. But remember that you don’t have to comment on every little thing; instead, pick and choose the most critical issues before stirring up controversy with your point of view.

Cancer Horoscope

(Jun 21 – Jul 22)

The tension of unresolved conflicts is temporarily soothed by your flexible attitude today. You can release whatever was bothering you in return for a relaxing day of spiritual refreshment and social enjoyment. However, you may not be ready to completely let go of your unexpressed feelings. Nevertheless, set them aside for a while without judging yourself too harshly. You’re not avoiding an issue; you’re just waiting for the right moment to handle it.

Leo Horoscope

(Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Today can be a day of contemplation that counterbalances your domestic responsibilities. You might wish that you could escape into a dream, but complications arise if you pay too much attention to your inner world before finishing your chores. But don’t overcompensate by playing the role of a superhero. Just do what you can while still leaving some time to explore your imagination.

Virgo Horoscope

(Aug 23 – Sep 22)

You might have planned a fun event today, only to realize that it’s not going to play out as you wish. Fortunately, you can still enjoy yourself, even if a bit of confusion creeps into your life. There’s no need to become overly concerned by details that won’t be important in the long run anyhow. Instead, shrug off the minor problems and refocus on the basics.

Libra Horoscope

(Sep 23 – Oct 22)

You could get all wrapped up in your thoughts now, although your stoicism may prevent you from talking about your worries with others. You wish that you felt more in the holiday spirit, but serious issues are weighing you down and they won’t go away until you deal with them. Even with concentrated attention today, resolution probably won’t come quickly. In the meantime, find a creative outlet for your irritation instead of spreading it to others.

Scorpio Horoscope

(Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Although you are aware of life’s simplicity today, you’re even more conscious of its complications. The earthy Taurus Moon lures you away from work and toward the pleasure of play. Yet, as a transformational Scorpio, you’re always attracted to a good mystery. Be careful if it appears that someone else can ameliorate your need for complexity, for this is just an illusion. Like it or not, your fate is completely in your own hands.

Sagittarius Horoscope

(Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Returning to the basics isn’t what usually motivates you, but simplification just may be the most critical issue in your life today. You can have positive impact on your immediate environment, but you have to shift out of the fast lane and on to a road less traveled by busy people like you. You’re at an important intersection, and taking the high-speed freeway isn’t in your best interest. A scenic detour might have much more to offer you now.

Capricorn Horoscope

(Dec 22 – Jan 19)

You are rethinking some of your most basic strategies as you try to reinvent yourself these days. Although this transformation process isn’t finished yet, it would be an intelligent exercise to review and re-evaluate your list of accomplishments. Tie up as many loose ends as possible over the next couple of days so you’re ready for the new year.

Aquarius Horoscope

(Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Inner conflict may be the source of additional stress as you reconsider a rational decision you recently made. Your feelings might not be following your good intentions as you assumed they naturally would. Your dilemma probably isn’t apparent to others, but one special person could come through for you now. Be open to receiving good news, or at least an uplifting perspective, from a friend or family member — for it can be just enough encouragement to nudge you along in the right direction.

Pisces Horoscope

(Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Your current ambiguity may get in the way of making concrete plans. You would like to do what’s best, but your intentions might go awry especially if your expectations are inflated. It’s difficult for you to say no to anything that sounds like fun, even if it isn’t very practical. Rely on a second opinion before making any commitments that you will later regret.

Daily Cosmic Calendar for December 23rd

Appreciate those 24-hour time-periods like today when there are relatively few celestial aspects and you can catch your breath. The monthly Moon-Saturn opposition from Taurus to Scorpio (4:14AM PST) is a clear cosmic signal to pause and reflect about recent events. Of course, if you want to slap on some elbow grease and work hard on an art, craft or hobby, go right ahead and be practically efficient. Enjoy physical fitness exercises or trek a favorite nature trail — weather permitting.  It is important to realize that this past Thursday’s Jupiter-Pluto 150-degree link — in addition to yesterday’s Jupiter-Saturn 150-degree tie — compose part of a larger geometrical pattern called a Yod or Finger of God triangle. Coming up on December 26, Saturn will form a supportive, 60-degree base for this triangle with Pluto that may be coinciding with some of the Mayan calendar mysteries being more fully understood or other esoteric anomalies coming to light.  This evening offers a superlative, 72-degree connection between Mercury and Neptune (10:30PM PST). Read a sci-fi masterpiece or enjoy a film marathon of award-winning caliber.
