Approach the person who makes you melt and turn those rays of attraction toward them. When they see all the love there, a union will be simple. Are you ready for the leap?
General Meaning: All worthy goals meet resistance of some kind. When negative forces predominate, a well-timed retreat is a good way to stay on the path to ultimate success. Tibetans know this.
Strategic retreat is not to be confused with escape or surrender. Successful retreat demands quick and nimble movement — taking up a new position before you are damaged by the current situation. You are not admitting defeat by temporarily retreating, but simply increasing your options, and preserving your resources. Sometimes it is necessary to slow down, let go or move back in order to develop countermoves for the future. Timing is critical, as is how well you position yourself after realignment. Considerations of personal security are critical.
Periods of withdrawal or retreat call for cool-headedness. It is necessary to keep your wits about you. Attend to small details while allowing yourself time to contemplate the whole picture. Be creative; not all progress follows a straight line. Self-confidence is also essential; small setbacks can easily become defeats if we allow ourselves to become mired in self-doubt or self-pity.
Waves of progress are, by their nature, short-lived. Learn to attune yourself to the up-and-down cycles of life. When the wave is behind you, ride it in; when it’s not, lie low. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you can ‘fix’ any situation whenever you feel like it. Some things are bigger than you are. Hold your pride in check and you will be better prepared to find creative openings.
|Spirit Runes are most commonly used for questions about mysticism, spirituality, and religion. Ger is one of the runes that touches on the cycles of the year, in this case the fall harvest. These cycles are eternal, which is represented in the rune by the fact that it is unchanged by reversal. Ger can represent pregnancy or other forms of fruitfulness, and is especially indicative of the cycles of providence and karma – that which has been sown is now being reaped. This rune can also represent the cycles of wealth, for crops were frequently a sign of wealth.|
This Tarot Deck: Tarot of the Witches
The more enlightenment and cosmic perspective this energy brings, the better life is for all. The Emperor archetype masters the world of matter and physical manifestation. When you apply this card to your situation, acknowledge your potentials for mastery. Reinforce a sense of sovereignty within yourself, despite any self-limiting beliefs, habits or appearances to the contrary.
You want to tell others your opinion today, even if you think that it will stir up resistance. You may not be concerned about what anyone else thinks now because you’re pretty certain that your perspective is the right one. Although your plan could work just fine, your words might sound more belligerent than you actually feel. Gain the support you seek by toning down your message and acknowledging the validity of an alternate approach.
Your unwavering commitment to accomplish a task can prompt you to do things your own way at any cost, turning a positive attribute into a negative one. Your determination is admirable, but you can be so stubborn today that those closest to you wonder why you are sabotaging your own possible success. Unfortunately, your plan might be in jeopardy without the cooperation of your friends. Your blind optimism could prevent you from seeing things objectively, so be open to the advice others have to offer.
Maintaining an optimistic perspective about a current project is not easy now. You’re tempted to overinflate an idea which turns it into a less useful one. Today’s Aquarius Full Moon in your 9th House of Adventure inspires you to dream about the amazing possibilities ahead, rather than concentrating on the present moment. If you drift off into daydreams about the future, gently bring your thoughts back to the specific tasks at hand.
Today’s Full Moon overwhelms your 8th House of Shared Resources with brilliant ideas, raising issues around jointly held possessions or investments. Someone’s appeal to your egalitarian principles can provoke enough guilt so you lessen your demands. However, it’s healthier for you to be an equal partner now, rather than being subservient in any way. Don’t just say yes to make another person feel better, because your self-esteem may suffer if you do.
Today’s Full Moon illuminates your 7th House of Others, possibly reactivating an unresolved relationship issue. If you are experiencing difficulties in love, this lunation’s cool logic can offer a powerful opportunity to heal. Reframing a past relationship in a new light changes your perspective and frees you to be more fully alive in every moment.
The conceptual Aquarius Full Moon falls in your 6th House of Details, tempting you to lean on your analytical skills to solve a current problem. However, you may be so logical that you cannot feel the emotional warmth coming your way now. Although you think you’re listening carefully, you might not be able to pick up other people’s messages unless they come in on your exact frequency. Opening your mind to new channels of communication today can teach you a very important lesson.
Your creativity may be erratic today with the Full Moon brightening your 5th House of Self-Expression, yet you could put on a brilliant performance if you don’t try to control the process. A smart strategy is to have a variety of things to keep you busy while you’re waiting for the muse to visit. Meanwhile, stay open to riding a creative wave if it comes along, but don’t be hard on yourself if nothing extraordinary happens.
Today’s Full Moon stretches you between your personal and professional goals. Although you may feel as if something could suddenly give way, your determination to restore balance to your life should override any emotional upset, even if the stress seems overwhelming at first. But denying your feelings isn’t wise either, for they can lead you to an important lesson. In the meantime, focus on the present and reestablish your priorities.
This is a rather intense Full Moon because it opposes the dramatic Leo Sun in your 9th House of Philosophy, reactivating a familiar theme in your life. You are aware that your wanderlust makes it difficult to follow through on existing commitments. Although you might be frustrated by your current limitations, you can improve your life by simply acknowledging your adventurous desires while simultaneously managing the circumstances of your immediate environment. Be creative in everything you do.
Your current financial condition could be rather unstable, for today’s unconventional Aquarius Full Moon stresses your 2nd House of Money. Maybe you discover that your cash on hand is less than you thought or, perhaps, your bills are greater than previously calculated. Either way, don’t try to avoid an issue that arises now, because handling it intelligently is much better than putting it off, even if you don’t have a final solution.
Today’s Full Moon in your sign indicates that sweeping changes are necessary to get your life back on track. However, you won’t need to put too much effort into solidifying your plans because unexpected events will likely require you to adapt to other people’s schedules anyway. It takes courage to be flexible now instead of rigidly sticking to an old agenda that no longer works. Although this might be an exercise in cooperation, don’t lose yourself in the process.
You yearn for more meaning to your life because events at work continue to require an increasing amount of your attention. Your friends and colleagues may not even notice that you’re struggling as you reassess your goals, and it’s probably better to leave them out of your current dilemma. But this isn’t about escaping from your routine; it’s about developing a more spiritual approach to everything you do.
Full Moon in Aquarius
Saturday, August 13, 11:57 am PDT, 2:57 pm EDT
The Full Moon in Aquarius represents a time when we can step outside of ourselves to see a more global picture of reality. Its opposition to the Sun, Mercury and Venus in self-conscious Leo gives us the choice of falling into infantile patterns or recognizing that there are at least two sides to every story. This is an opportunity to express Leo’s heartfelt warmth without burning others with an overheated need to dominate, but rather to engage in shared experiences that honor the uniqueness of everyone.

It is a very happy, happy Saturday! Or should I say a very enjoyable and pleasurable one. I am getting to see my favorite man today and all weekend long, yeah! Who is this hunk, why no other than Vin Diesel. That man has it all. I love all his movies and I have just got through watching “The Fast and The Furious” for the hundredth time. USA network is showing “Fast and Furious” all weekend long, so I am in fan heaven. Yes, you heard right, your favorite witch is a Vin Diesel fan. I remember the first time my daughter mentioned one of his movies. I can’t remember the one right off the bat but she was totally surprised when I said, “Oh yeah, Vin Diesel, he is hot!” She turned around and liked to have fallen out in the floor. “Momma, you know who he is?” I think my reply was, “Hell yes, I ain’t dead yet!” She told me I shouldn’t make comments about men being hot. I asked her what the harm was. My daughter quickly informed me that her Father never commented about women like that. I told her, he knows better (besides when I made the comment he wasn’t even in the room). But he now knows I love Vin. Last night, when the movie started to come on, he got up and went to play on the computer.
I was sitting here thinking about it, my hubby and Vin. I believe that is what first attracted me to my husband. He was very muscular and worked out everyday. I loved his arms. I don’t think I have ever mentioned he is twelve years older than me. I believe at times, he thinks he is getting old and I don’t look at him the same way I use too. But in my eyes, I still see the man I fell in love with so many years ago. He hasn’t changed a bit to me. We were talking the other day and I was curious. I know in my mind I still think and sometimes act like I am still a kid. But the important point I was trying to make and ask him, does his brain still feel like it is young? I know that might sound crazy but really have you ever stopped to think about it. Our bodies grow old but our young brains are trapped in them? It is not only my brain but also my eyes, I can look in the mirror and I don’t look like I have changed a bit. The same way with my husband. So what is it, our brain and eyes are playing tricks on us? Or our we seeing what we want or wish we could see? Given you anything to think about?
