When you feel negativity building up in your home, or the occupants are not getting along:
Use Sandalwood, Dragons blood or (if you can stand the smell) Patchouli Incense. Make certain that you carry your censer or a stick of incense into each room. Use this in conjunction with a chant and meditation.
It’s also a good idea to sprinkle sea or kosher salt on the carpet, then vacuum it up immediately after the ritual.
Cyclone Clearing Spell

Cast this spell to clear the negativity out of your home, as well as encourage positive energies into your space.
At midnight, light a sage smudge stick and smudge your home thoroughly. Use a fireproof bowl or pan to catch any burning ash that may drop from the smudge stick. Now, fully extinguish the smudge. Take a few minutes and merge with the divine. In your mind’s eye imagine a cyclone spinning counterclockwise, awash with cobalt blue energy, hovering above you. Build the cyclone up with your intention and deep breathing. Send the cyclone around your home, in a counterclockwise direction, to clear out any negative, disruptive, or chaotic energies. Actually see the cyclone pulling the negativity up and out of your home. As you do this, chant loudly:
“Negative energies get out, begone now and forevermore.”
Imagine the cyclone diving beneath your home and pulling any negativity out from that area. Once you have cleared out the negative energy, see the cyclone spinning up and out of your home and into the night sky. Repeat this process three times.
When you are done, merge with the God and Goddess. Then spin slowly in a clockwise circle and imagine bright white light shooting out from your outstretched palms and filling your home with its divine power. Say nine times:
“May the divine power of love, hope and peace fill my home, now and forevermore. So be it! Blessed be!”

Aloe Vera

Basil
Basil protects from evil and negativity, and aids in attracting and keeping love. It is used for purification baths, and in wealth and prosperity rituals. Carrying a basil leaf in your pocket brings wealth.
Bayberry
The oil of bayberry will bring prosperity and luck.

Used to ward off all sorts of negativity, making it invaluable for protective amulets and sachets. Add to potpourri in the house.
Caraway

Catnip
Use the large leaves, well dried, to mark pages in magickal books. Use in conjunction with rose petals in love satchets. It will also create a psychic bond between you and your cat. Grow near your home to attract luck and good spirits.
Cayenne
Cayenne pepper scattered around your house will break bad spells. Adding it to love powders will ensure that your love will be spicy, and can inflame the loved one with passion.
Cedar
Cedar chips used in rituals or burnt attracts money, and is also used in purification and healing. It is a symbol of power and longevity. Hung in the home it will protect against lightning. Juniper can be used in place of cedar.
Chamomile
Chamomile is used in prosperity charms to attract money. Added to incense, it will produce a relaxed state for better meditation. Burned alone it will induce sleep. Added to a ritual bath, it will attract love. Sprinkle it around your property to remove curses and bad spells.
Cinnamon
Burned in incense, cinnamon will promote hil spirituality. It is also used to stimulate the passions of the male. It should also be burned in incenses used for healing. The essential oil is used for protection.
Cloves
Cloves worn in an amulet will drive away negativity and hostility, and stop gossip. It is often carried to stimulate the memory, and can be added to attraction sachets. Eyebright is used to make a simple tea to rub on the eyelids to induce and enhance clairvoyant visions.
Fennel
Use for scenting soaps and perfumes to ward of negativity and evil. Grow near the home for the same purpose.
Feverfew
Feverfew is carried for protection against illnesses involving fever, as well as for preventing accidents.

Peonies planted outside the home guard against storm damage and demons. A chain of beads cut from the dried root was worn as a protection against illness and injury, and to cure insanity.

Promoting the Positive
Negative Pull
We always have the option to not participate in negativity or to find a way to create a positive direction instead.
Sometimes we start out with the best intentions to think and speak only positive thoughts, but the people around us throw us off course. Not everyone fully understands the power our thoughts and words have, or even if they do, they may be stuck in old patterns of negativity. Much of our habitual communication takes the form of complaining and criticizing, and it can be hard to find a way into certain conversations without lapsing into those old habits. However, we always have the option not to participate in negativity or to find a way to influence the situation in a positive direction. In the right company, you may even be able to directly acknowledge the fact that things have taken a negative turn, thus freeing yourself and others from the negative pull.
Not everyone will respond to your cues, and there’s no need to become overly attached to the idea of changing other people, because people have to choose for themselves how they will be in the world. Many people choose negativity because it is familiar to them and feels safe. It is important to give people the space to find their own way, but you can always set an example, subtly representing the power of being positive. At times you may interject an affirmative statement into the conversation, and at others you may simply change the subject. You may also simply withdraw your energy and presence, which also makes a subtle statement. If you feel comfortable enough with somebody that is always negative, perhaps you can have an honest conversation with them; after all, awareness is the first step to change.
A powerful way to free yourself from the negative pull is to enlist allies who are similarly minded. You and a friend, coworker, or family member may agree to work together to continually shift the energy in a situation in a positive direction. The power of two people working to promote the positive is exponentially greater than one person working on their own. As you and your allies work together to lift the energy around you, you will be amazed to see how quickly the positive pull begins to draw people into its orbit, freeing one mind after another from negativity into light.

You will need your magic mirror or a consecrated small round mirror, a wide-mouthed glass jar, ashes, vinegar, a knife or something else sharp like a razor blade or piece of broken glass, and an apple.
After sundown, set the jar before the mirror and place in it some ashes.
Fill it up about 2/3 of the way with vinegar. Take the apple and carve into it something that will represent the person or the negativity which follows or attacks you. Try and make it as clear as you can-while you carve, infuse the apple with all of the negativity you perceive around you. Raise the apple above the jar and say:

Negative thoughts affect more than just your mind. Those thoughts create negative energy that flows destructively throughout your entire life.
If you are extremely negative about one thing, that negativity seeps into everything. That’s why it is so important to transform the negative influences into positive thoughts and endeavors.
There will always be people, events and circumstances that have the potential to get you down. However, you don’t have to let them keep you down for long.
Much of what comes to you, and happens beyond you, is out of your control. Yet you always can precisely and dependably control what you do with it.

During the winter, stagnant energy and negativity can build up in our homes. Fire is a natural purifier and is excellent to use during the winter to cleanse our living space. Here are three rituals for you to try.
This ritual uses winter spices to help clear the home of negativity. Combine a pinch each of allspice, ginger, and clove. Sprinkle these spices onto the fire. Using a small pine branch, trace the shape of the pentagram in the air over the hearth. At first, hold the pine branch above the flames and visualize any negativity being sucked up the chimney. Then lay the pine branch directly into the flames, if it pops and cracks a lot, then you did have some negative energy hanging around. If you perform this ritual in your cauldron or other dish, when the ashes cool, sprinkle them away from your home.
To create a calm atmosphere in the home and to purify yourself of any negative thoughts, this spell combines snow (or ice), rose water, and fire. First, in a bowl combine some fresh snow, or a few ice cubes, and a teaspoon of rose water. Place the bowl in front of the fire and let the snow or ice melt. When melted, stir the mixture with your hand and anoint your forehead and each wrist. The scent of the rose water should calm you— let go of any bad thoughts. Take this mixture around your home and sprinkle it in front of doors and windows. Return to your hearth and bless the fireplace and chimney. Pour any extra mixture outside.
As a good general cleansing technique, after you have built a fire or when the wood is glowing brightly, sprinkle a handful of regular table salt onto the fire. This serves to bless and purify any space, as a bonus the salt also helps to slow any creosote build-up in the chimney. Use this once a day in my wood stove.

When you feel resentment, anger, envy, despair, anxiety or any other negative feeling coming on, quickly let it go. Make the choice to not allow a negative perspective to drain value from your life.
It can be very easy to be negative in response to life’s various occurrences. Yet it becomes extremely difficult to live with the consequences of all that negativity.
