Spell To Make You Dream Of The One You Love

Items You Will Need:

  • An Object

The Spell:

Find something that symbolizes the person you want to dream of, such as a photo, something they gave you, something they said to you written on paper, etc. Just before going to sleep, recall your most favorite memories with them, then hold the object on your heart and chant:

With these treasured memories,
sweet dreams of you shall come to me.
The way you laugh, the way you smile,
my heart, it skips, it leaps a mile.
Your gentle breath, your tender touch,
I long for you, so very much.
Your lips so soft, your eyes so bright,
I need you on this lonely night.
Let me feel you, smell your scent,
taste your mouth, you’re heaven sent.
Close me in your warm embrace,
and make my heart begin to race.
Pull me ever closer, near,
tell me what I need to hear.
Fulfill my every earthly desire,
until my passion roars like fire.
As is my will, this shall be done,
my magick dream has now begun!

Put the object under your pillow after reading the chant and then go to sleep straight away! 🙂 Enjoy!

Wishing With The Power Of Eight

Wishing With The Power Of Eight

This spell works best at midnight.

Say your name loud and clear, while in full view of the moon. Say your name eight times in total.

Then say your wish, nice and clear. And be very specific. Like don’t say, ‘I wish I fit in more.’ You might become a fish, fitting in with all of these other fish, in the middle of the ocean. After you say your very specific wish, say your name again eight times. Imagine your wish coming true, and you being very happy.

Also, don’t wish to be twenty pounds lighter, if you’re going to eat twenty gallons of ice cream a day.

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’ for August 21

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’
By Joyce Sequichie Hifler

As long as there has been a human race there has been someone crying out, “No one understands!” Somewhere along the way communications have broken down and the result is misunderstanding.

To be misunderstood is painful. We keep wanting to explain and explain until we get our message across. Sometimes it is the lack of the wise use of words. Then, it may be an unwilling ear. But whatever the race, the politics, sophisticated or home grown, everyone has the desire to be understood. They want every motive, every mood, completely and unquestionably understood.

But to be completely understood can also have its rebound. A goddess can turn into a woman, and a hero can slip into a man when only one of their moods is completely understood.

Understanding breeds familiarity. Familiarity may not breed contempt, but it can certainly take the edge off the mystery. And, it is mystery that keeps life interesting.

In all wisdom, we should worry much less about being completely understood, and make a more diligent effort to understand others.

Something dies within us when no one cares. It is a circumstance of our own making when we have failed to give to another the thought and concern that would have helped when it was most needed.

Sorrows can be borne because others care. Greatness can be achieved because someone cared. To care is our purpose.

Who knows but that these small acts of sympathy and understanding may place another life into the one slot on the jigsaw puzzle of life.

If we were all the things we expect of others, the result would be perfection. We would be perfect in forgiveness, faithful in love, and devoted to the welfare of others. Such excellence has never been accomplished, except that we work continually for it. To work for it, we have to care. And for someone to care is the thing that matters.

“Instead of allowing yourself to be so unhappy, just let your love grow as God wants it to grow; seek goodness in others, love more persons more; love them more impersonally, more unselfishly, without thought of return. The return, never fear, will take care of itself.” – Henry Drummond.

Elder’s Meditation of the Day August 21

Elder’s Meditation of the Day August 21

“The greater the faith, the greater the result.”

–Fools Crow, LAKOTA

The Creator designed us to act on faith. We are able to do this by holding firm to our beliefs. If we believe something and if we don’t want the belief to change, we need to add the power of the Great Spirit to this belief. We must always have the spiritual added to our beliefs. If we don’t add the Spirit, then we may very well change our minds during the first time we are tested. Each time we are tested and we don’t change our minds, we get stronger. The wind may blow on the red willow trees bending them and causing the roots to grow deeper. The more the wind bends the tree, the bigger, stronger and deeper the roots grow. We should be happy that we are tested. It’s the Creator’s way of making us have greater faith for greater results.

Great Mystery, Grandfather, I know if I am tested today that I can count on You to give me the courage to get to the other side. On the other side of every test is the reward of strength. Make me strong.

August 21 – Daily Feast

August 21 – Daily Feast

Sometimes wisdom is knowing what to overlook. Often it is forgiveness without putting it in words. But why would any quick-thinking, industrious person of knowledge and intellect want to overlook anything? Because we never know when we are going to be in another person’s shoes. If it should happen, we want to be forgiven – for a variety of reasons. Overlooking shortcomings is not just wisdom – it’s kindness as well. Who has not hoped the world was looking the other way when he or she fell short of being admirable? To overlook in Cherokee is, a hi ya s to di – meaning almost the same thing as to ignore. What a blessing to not be ignored, but to have our faults overlooked.

~ You must not hurt anybody or do harm to anyone. You must not fight but do right always. ~

Daily Motivator for August 21 – A kind and generous heart

A kind and generous heart

It would be of no value to have love if you could not also give love. There  would be no satisfaction in having the world’s greatest fortune if there was no  one with whom to share your good fortune.

Don’t obsess over getting what’s coming to you. Focus your energy on giving  and expanding all the good things that can come from you.

You’ll rarely gain anything by proving that you’re right. Instead, put your  efforts into doing what is right.

If your ego controls every moment of your life, that life will be little more  then an empty shell. To fill your life with richness, live with a kind and  generous heart.

If you seek to take without giving, you create bitterness in every direction.  The only wealth that will ever bring fulfillment is the wealth you create and  give.

Don’t settle for a shallow, empty life when you can enjoy so much more. Give  your best, with a kind and generous heart, and truly live life at its highest  level.

The Daily Motivator

Daily OM for August 21 – We Are Beings of Light

We Are Beings of Light

Beyond the Physical

by Madisyn Taylor

It is through our connection to our light that we know things beyond what the visible world can tell us.

We are all beings of light. Put another way, we are spiritual beings having a human experience. As children, most of us know this, but other human beings who have forgotten what they really are and who cannot help us to know ourselves train us to forget. As a result, we are led to believe that magic is not real, that our invisible playmates do not really exist, and that we are limited beings with only one earthly life to live. There is enormous pressure to conform to this concept of ourselves and so we lose touch with our full potential, forgetting that we are beings of light.

At this time, many of us are reawakening to the truth of who we are, because we are living amidst such large-scale changes in the world. We need to access this light in order to not only survive but thrive as we shift into a new order of consciousness. As the changes around us proceed in rapid progression, we will want to be able to trust our own ability to sense what is happening and how we can best respond. We are no longer living in a predictable world in which we can trust external authority figures and prior ideas about reality to guide us. We need to be able to access the information that will help us navigate these uncertain waters, and the ultimate authority resides in our awareness of ourselves as beings of light.

It is through our connection to this light that we know things beyond what the visible world can tell us, and we see things beyond what the physical world reveals. In order to access this wisdom, we can simply allow ourselves to remember that we are not limited, as we have been taught. In fact, we are filled with divine grace and power that is ours for the asking. A daily practice of tuning into this vast potential, conversing with it, and offering ourselves up to it opens the door through which we can reclaim our true identity, taking ownership of the calling that the time has come to create bliss on earth.

The Wicca Book of Days for August 21

Guaranteeing Grain

The Consualia, a festival dedicated to the Roman granary God Consus, was celebrated on August 21 in ancient times, in the hope of securing divine protection for the just-threshed harvest. On the Consualia, sacrifices made by the flamen Quirinalis (priest of Quirinus) were offered to Consus at his Maximus, where an underground altar was dedicated to him. Above ground, races were held, while some equines were garlanded and given the day off, for Consus was furthermore equated with Neptune Equester (“Equestrian Neptune”).

Your Charm for August 21 is The Heart

Your Charm For Tuesday, August 21

Today’s Meaning:

A course of events that cannot be altered has been set in motion within this aspect. Accept whatever happens in the near future and do not waste your time fretting about it–you can do nothing.

General Description:

This was a favorite charm in Egypt, worn in order to frustrate magicians, sorcerers and evil wishers from bewitching the wearer and stealing the soul from the heart; for it was the general belief that if the soul left the heart, the body would soon fade away and perish. The ancient Egyptians also believed that, after death, the heart was taken, in the underworld, and weighed against the symbols of the law; if found perfect, it was restored to the body, which at once came to life again and enjoyed everlasting felicity

Your Ancient Symbol Card for August 21 is The Lotus

Your Ancient Symbol Card for August 21

The Lotus

The Lotus represents the spiritual self in its purest form. It reminds us that for most achieving a well developed spirituality is a journey which can be long and arduous. The spirit of the Lotus is not of our secular world, and the presence of The Lotus suggests that what is needed can be found by exploring your relationship with the Universe not as a physical entity pursuing material gain, but as a divine soul in need of celestial sustenance.

As a daily card, The Lotus is indicative of a period in which your energies should be focused on your spiritual self. This doesn’t mean you should forsake your possessions or place in our secular world. It simply implies you might be well served by reaffirming or further developing your spiritual self at this time.

Daily Feng Shui Tip for August 21 – ‘Senior Citizen Day’

There’s no better time than ‘Senior Citizen Day’ to share some Feng Shui symbols that promote longevity and health. The Chinese believe that there is no good luck without long life, and almost every Chinese prayer and greeting includes the wish for longevity! One way to enjoy a smooth slide through life is to display an image or statue of a crane. Considered the bird of immortality, the crane is also strongly associated with long life and happiness. His symbolic presence in your home is also thought to bring harmony and happiness into that space. As well, the pine tree could be considered the strongest of the symbols of inner strength, vitality and permanence. This tree is steadfast and strong and represents the fortitude associated with long-lasting achievement. So display an image of a pine tree (or grow the real deal) anywhere around your house to activate energies of longevity and long life. Bamboo has also long been regarded an excellent symbol of longevity for its durability and ability to bend but not break. This symbolizes the way all difficulties of life should be handled, as the bamboo can adapt and go with the flow and it always survives. It is considered a great idea to hang images or paintings of bamboo in the office in order to ensure both career longevity and good fortune.
