It’s a great time for spells connected to love and abundance.
June’s Full Strawberry Moon will take place on June 21, 2024, the day following the Summer Solstice. When it comes to the Strawberry Moon’s spiritual meaning, it’s the time of the year to focus on love, abundance, and prosperity.
If that sounds similar to the Flower Moon, it’s because it is. Some of the themes that were just blooming then are coming into their peak now.
Full Moon spells, rituals, and correspondences for the Strawberry Moon are related to love and prosperity. In June 2024, the Full Moon is in Capricorn, so if there are some practical ways you can move forward on those goals, now is the time to put those ideas into place.
We call it the Strawberry Moon because it is the name some Indigenous American tribes used to describe the time of the year when strawberries are ripe. Though, sometimes, the Moon itself looks slightly reddish.
June’s Moon may be the last Full Moon for spring, or in the case this year, the first Full Moon of summer. Many of its other names for this Moon are connected to the sense that everything is in flow and is coming to fruition.
June was named after the goddess Juno, the Roman Goddess of marriage and childbirth. And, according to NASA, “The tradition of calling the first month of marriage the “honeymoon” may be tied to this full Moon because of the custom of marrying in June or because the “Honey Moon” is the “sweetest” Moon of the year.” (Though, sometimes, the first full Moon following this would be in July.)
June’s Full Moon is also known as:
Gardening Moon (Ojibwe)
River Moon (Catawba)
Moon of Birthing (Inupiat)
Berries Ripen Moon (Haida)
Summer Moon (Tunica and Seneca)
Egg Laying Moon (Cree)
Honey Moon (Medieval Europe)
Mead Moon (Medieval Europe)
Rose Moon (Europe)
Meditate or take a ritual bath to center and focus your energy on your intention. As the energy is more Earth-based this month, if you can meditate safely outside, you might find it more rewarding.
Cleanse the space using smoke from your preferred cleansing herb. Move the smoke around your altar in a clockwise manner. You may also create a circle using salt, flowers, or herbs. Create the circle in a clockwise fashion.
If you wish to charge Moon water, place water on your altar or where it will be bathed in the Moon’s light. Place any crystals you want to charge on your altar or where they will be under the moonlight.
Light the candles on your altar.
Use the journal prompts above or begin to journal about what you wish to let go of this Full Moon on one page. Write about what you wish to bring in on another. Do not judge yourself, simply let your intuition and higher self guide you. If you feel scattered, take a break to bring your focus back to your breath. Breathe slowly and mindfully, then begin again.
If you feel compelled to do so, you may burn the page containing what you wish to release. Do so in a fireproof bowl.
Stay in the calm, focused energy as long as desire, then thank the Moon, any deities you’ve worked with. In doing so, you will close the circle. If you have created a physical circle, remove it slowly and with intention in a counterclockwise fashion.

When dealing with a weekly spell guide, Mondays are thought to be the logical day for money, love, time and meditation spells. Since Mondays are thought to be the start of the work week, it gives plenty of time for a Monday spell to gain strength throughout the rest of the week.
Hold both of your hands in front of you. Stare at your hands, noticing your palms and fingers, for about thirty seconds. Then, say this chant one time:
“Palms sweaty,
From watching clocks.
No more.
One finger,
For every ten docked.
Seconds in a minute
1440 in a day.
Stop a few,
For singing birds
And trees that sway.”
This should feel like time has slowed-down and allowed you to appreciate life more.

Water is a transformative element that constantly changes form from cloud to rain, river to vapor, trickle to ice, and carries the energy of change in all its forms.
Clean, resealable glass bottle
Glitter
1. Go outside on a cold, sunny day and find some icicle (Side note: you can use ice cubes made from rain water or a natural water source in place of icicles placed in a funnel)
2.Hold the bottle underneath an icicle to catch the meltwater as it drips.
3. While holding the bottle, recite the incantation:
Water clear and bright, Changing, taking flight
Go from cold to warm, Help me to transform.”
4. Add a few pinches of glitter into the bottle. Seal the bottle and shake it to mix the water and glitter.
Whenever you need to manifest a desired change in your life, shake the bottle and watch the water and glitter swirl. Remember the energy of the icicles changing to water and focus that energy on your goal.
Want to help your need manifest faster? The key to helping your spells and intentions manifest faster is to have emotion and energy behind the intent! One of our favorite ways to raise energy, aside from drumming and dancing, is chanting! The elements are used heavily within this charm because they are the building blocks of existence on our plane.
This quick chant will help you find the rhythm of your circle’s energy, harness it, and add it to your spell. Simply:
This chant can be said with visualization or by passing your written spell over and through the elements as you say them. Always follow your heart and intuition.
As always, spells are worked best within a protective circle where energy can be contained and released intentionally.
Air for intellect
Fire to warm
Water for emotion
Earth to form
[Say your spell or intention for manifestation here]
Repeat as necessary.

Got an evaluation coming up at work? There is nothing worse than having to go over a review form. You know you deserve a good raise, but how much will your manager or the company be willing to dole out? Or are you trying for a promotion? Sounds like it’s time to hedge your bets, so to speak. Try your hand at this tarot spell.
• A carnelian tumbled stone for success and to boost your career or a quartz crystal point for extra power
• 1 yellow or gold candle (white will do in a pinch-it’s an all-purpose color)
• Three tarot cards: the Ace of Wands, the Sun, and the Chariot
• An item in sympathy with the spell that you are casting
You can also add the health, wealth, and success philter to this spell if you wish. Just anoint the spell candle with the solar-powered oil you have created.
What exactly is an item of sympathy? It is any item that is sympathetic to what you are working for. Since this is a job-related spell, an item in sympathy could be your recent paycheck stub, ID badge, or your business card. So, with that thought in mind, adding this sympathetic item to your other correspondences only helps to unify the magick. It does this by uniting the energies and giving you something very specific to focus on.
Arrange your items in front of the candle. If you wish, anoint the spell candle with the philter. Now, light the spell candle and focus on the cards and your item of sympathy, pathy, and then repeat the spell below three times. Check out the last line of the spell and adjust this as necessary.
Just like the golden child who rides under the sun
I call for recognition of a job well done
This spell candle illuminates my way
Bring success and wealth to all my days
Goddess, bless my ambitions, they are fair and true
While this higher career goal/promotion I do now pursue.
Close the spell by saying:
For the good of all, with harm to none
By the sun and stars, this spell is done.
Let the candle burn until it goes out on its own. Keep the carnelian in your pocket or purse, and the cards and your item of sympathy together and on your person for one week, until the following Sunday.

Looking to put a little passion back into your love life? How do you feel about working with the four elements and Lilith, our goddess of power and passion? There are times when even the most loving relationship needs a little oomph. So, if you simply want to spice things up with your partner in the bedroom, well, hey, Lilith’s your best bet! But be careful; she has a wicked sense of humor. Calling on Lilith for some extra spark or desire works very well, and you may feel like you have a magickal hangover in the morning. A small price to pay … just don’t say that I didn’t warn you.
Let’s get all of your senses involved. This spell is a sensual and sensory experience. To represent the four elements in this spell, light a few black or red candles to represent sent the element of fire. Burn dragon’s blood incense to represent the element of air. To symbolize water, open a bottle of red wine and drink from the same cup as your partner. Finally, sprinkle the sheets with some crimson-colored rose petals to represent the element of earth.
And at the risk of sounding like a mom, while you’re setting this stage for loving seduction, don’t forget to practice safe sex!
Lilith, dark goddess, teach me to love, laugh and be wise
Aid me in my witchery as you sail through the skies
By the natural magick of air, water, earth, and fire
I manifest the gifts of love, seduction, and desire
By the elements four, this spell is now begun
As I will, so shall it be, and let it harm none.

While using spells made by other people can be just as effective, writing your own spells is not that difficult at all. In fact, in some cases, it is more than encouraged. Another person’s work will not resonate with you as much as your own words will. Even when working with a traditional spell, making modifications to the words to suit your specific goal can enhance the results.
Learning how to write original spells is important to you as a modern practitioner especially in times when the exact kind of spell that you are searching for cannot be found in a book.
Work a vague spell and you are likely to get a vague result. With the exception of a few special cases, the first secret to writing an effective spell is to be as specific as possible. This entails knowing exactly what you want. Try not to send mixed signals to the universe because if you do, it is likely to come back to you. This is why, as previously mentioned, meditation is often a prerequisite prior to dealing with spells.
You should take your time to formulating the words. Remember the ambiguous wording can be dangerous. Also, be careful what you ask for because, well, you know the rest…
Symbolism plays a crucial role in magick spell workings. The second thing to consider when writing an original magick spell is whether you need certain tools to accompany it. The commonly used tools for spells include crystals, candles, robes, incense and herbs. While these items may not possess magick by themselves, they help in building the atmosphere. Remember to cleanse and consecrate these objects before using them.
The third ingredient to working a spell is the timing. You must determine whether the moon phase is a vital factor to your spell. Performing a spell under the right moon phase is likely to increase its effectiveness. Keep in mind that spells used to attract things and spells for abundance are best performed under a waxing moon.
A full moon provides the highest energy, followed by the new moon. Spells used to send things away are performed under a waning moon. If a spell needs to be performed during a specific time of the day or for several successive nights or days, follow it conscientiously.
A magick spell is more effective when you keep them in tune with the seasons. For example, you can do spells used to start things during the planting season and do spells used for obtaining things during harvest season.
Write down your magick spell on paper. The written word, in itself, is magick. While you write, you are transferring your energy into your words. Writing by hand also enables you to enter a different state of consciousness.
If a spell has not worked within an entire lunar month, chances are you need to rework the wording or the procedure.
Finally, the most important rule: Believe in your spell. Working a spell, no matter how wonderfully worded, without believing in it will result to failure. You should never attempt to cast a spell without sufficient faith in magick because doing so is to render yourself vulnerable to negative forces.

One silver or white candle
Moonstone or opal
Ivy or heather
Chamomile or mint oil
Remember magic is all about intention and pleasure, so these ingredients are only a guideline, don’t stress if you cannot source what I have listed, just use whatever is available to you.
Give yourself some quiet, un-interrupted time to cast. Meditate and clear your mind. Anoint the candle with the oil by rubbing it in a clockwise direction on the candle. Sprinkle the herb at the base of the candle or dish around it and place the crystal beside the candle and herbs.
Light the candle as you chant three times: ‘O lovely Lunar Lady empower me, charge me with your energy. For the Highest Good of All. Blessed Be’
Carry the crystal to remind you of your power throughout the day.
Blessed Be )O(
A dark-grey or purple fabric drawstring bad
Angelica root or rosemary
Sale and pepper in tiwsts of silver foil
An animal or bird bone, or 7 black beads
A dark-green thread or ribbon
A few drops of brandy or barley wine
“While you remain hidden within,
Keep safe without.”
Here is a sample script for a Wiccan full moon ceremony:
Light candles or incense to mark the boundaries of the sacred space and call forth the elements of air, fire, water, earth, and spirit to protect and empower the ceremony.
For Air: “I call upon the power of Air, bringer of wisdom and clarity. I invite you to join me in this sacred space, and bless this ceremony with your presence.”
For Fire: “I call upon the power of Fire, bringer of passion and energy. I invite you to join me in this sacred space, and bless this ceremony with your presence.”
For Water: “I call upon the power of Water, bringer of emotions and healing. I invite you to join me in this sacred space, and bless this ceremony with your presence.”
For Earth: “I call upon the power of Earth, bringer of stability and growth. I invite you to join me in this sacred space, and bless this ceremony with your presence.”
For Spirit: “I call upon the power of Spirit, bringer of unity and transcendence. I invite you to join me in this sacred space, and bless this ceremony with your presence.”
Invoke the goddess of the moon, such as Aradia, to bless the ceremony and guide your actions. Look to the moon and say:
“Great Aradia, goddess of the moon, I call upon you to join me in this sacred space. Your silver light illuminates the night and guides me on my path. I honor and reverence your power, and ask for your blessing and guidance in this ceremony. May your wisdom and strength fill me, and may your love and grace shine upon me. So mote it be.”
Cleanse yourself and the sacred space with sage, salt, or moon water to prepare for the ritual. This can be done most simply by lighting a sage stick.
Each person approaches purification differently, and you can use any more elaborate method that you want here.
Offer any food, drink, or other offerings to the goddess, and express your gratitude and intentions for the ceremony.
In this ritual, we will offer honey, as a symbol of sweetness and the moon’s influence on crops. The honey should be produced and placed on a stone before the beginning of the ceremony.
At this point, you can set it out. It will be left here to return to the elements.
Focus on your desires and intentions for the full moon, and use visualization, meditation, or affirmations to bring them into manifestation.
Let go of any negative thoughts, emotions, or habits that are holding you back, and offer them to the goddess for transformation.
Say:
“Great elements of Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Spirit, I thank you for your presence and blessings in this ceremony. I now release you to return to your natural states and ask that any energies or intentions raised during this ritual be sent forth with love and light. May they bring healing, growth, and positivity to all beings and the world. So mote it be.”
Thank the goddess and the elements for their presence and protection, and close the circle by extinguishing the candles or incense.
By following this script, you can create a meaningful and powerful full moon ceremony that aligns with the energies of the full moon and supports your personal and spiritual growth.

I prefer to use a glass, but you can use a plastic bottle if it’s all you have. Water is the perfect liquid to imprint with your intensions, so this spell is super simple but instantly powerful.
Hold the glass of water between your hands and say whatever you most need. For example:
My migraine is gone and I am full of health.
Close your eyes as you say these words and focus on putting all of your energy into the water. Raise as much energy as you can (I raise energy through my feet from the earth and send it out through my hands) and picture the outcome that you want. Do this for at least 2 minutes.
Once you have enchanted the water, drink it within the hour for optimal results.
Light a purple candle for Athena and a white candle for peace. Now sit before the candles and concentrate on what variety of spell you’d like to write. Close your eyes for a few moments to center yourself. Now repeat the following spell three times:
Computer and printer, ink pens and paper
Send me inspiration sooner than later
Athena blesses me under a Wednesday-night sky
I can create my own spells, now let my magick fly
Using a bit of Wednesday’s witchery
As I do will it, so mote it be!
Close this up by writing your own spell or charm. If you’d like to add a little herbal magick to this spell, add some lavender for transformation. It will help to transform your ideas into reality. Check your spice rack, and make use of some dill for good luck. Most of all, just have fun. Don’t be afraid to try writing your own spells.
