Success and Prosperity Spell

SUCCESS AND PROSPERITY

Ingredients:

* a small green or brown talisman bag
* three silver coins
* cinnamon and cedar chips
* a small dish
* your wand
* a pentacle
* cauldron
* ritual knife

Procedure:

This spell is best done during the waxing moon or on the Full Moon. Set your cauldron on the pentacle.  Place a small dish inside the cauldron with a small amount of cinnamon and cedar chips on it.  Beside your cauldron, lay your wand.

Tap each coin with the wand as you chant:

Glistering silver, coin of the Moon,
Shiny and round, bring me a boon.
Draw to my hands many more of your kind.
Multiply, grow, like the image in my mind.

Place the coins in the cauldron with the herbs.  Stir the air clockwise seven times over the cauldron and chant:

Earth elementals, cunning and bright,
With me share treasures here on this night.
Share with me riches of silver and gold.
Success, prosperity, all I can hold.

Put the coins and the herbs in the talisman bag and lay it overnight in the moonlight.  Either carry the talisman bag with you or keep it near your bed where you will see it every night.

REVERSING CROSSED CONDITIONS WITH A BLACK CANDLE

If you know who has put a crossed condition on you and you want to reverse the jinx onto them, burn a black candle on their name (putting their name on a paper beneath an overturned saucer under the candle) or carve their name on the candle.

If you don’t know the name of the person who did this trick to you, carve the words “My Enemy” on the candle. Any black candle will do, but if you use a black candle in the figure of the Devil, carve their name on it, and dress it with Cast Off Evil Oil, things will go harder with them.

Burn the black candle on the toilet tank, a little bit each night, pinching it out between burnings. Burn it while the moon is growing smaller — then, on the dark of the moon, the darkest night of the month, turn the burning black candle upside down and extinguish it in the toilet bowl, saying

“Thus will you, [name of enemy], meet your fate!”

Throw the remaining black candle stub and wax into a crossroads — or into the yard of the person who had put the roots on you or jinxed you.

Cast this spell in honor of Lorialet, the enchanted son of the Greek Goddess Selene and the Greek God Endymion. He is a poet, musician and sorcerer, who lives on mountain tops, wooded glens, and next to forest lakes, and constantly dreams of the moon. Cats love him and butterflies and dragonflies travel with him wherever he goes.

For this spell, you will need a body of water and a dragonfly sticker. Magick shops, the internet, New Age gift, and health food stores are places to find dragonfly stickers.

After dark when the moon has risen, go outdoors and sit next to a body of water such as a creek, river, pond, lake or ocean. Recite a special poem you have written for Lorialet and the dragonflies or you can recite one of the following: My favorite is a passage from the song “Dragonfly” by Clutch. Other are a-ha’s “Dragonfly” lyrices and Jimi Hendrix’s “Spanish Castle Magick.” Put a copy of the lyrics where you can read them before you go to sleep to encourage dragonfly dreams. Dragonflies are messengers of the Gods. Affix the sticker on your car, refrigerator, or bathroom mirror to remind you of the dragonfly magick all around you.

There are many reason this plane could be missing. I know at this time there are many theories what could have happened to it. Needless to say, none of them good. I keep holding out hope that out of all these possible outcomes that it will turn out the plane was hi-jacked. I know that isn’t a good outcome at all but at least, the passengers might be alive.

 

What I am getting ready to suggest, I have never tried. Especially something on this magnitude and a search that involves something like this. But I have a strong belief in all of us, especially we unite in one cause. We have done it before and I believe we can do this, all we have to do is unite again. These relatives of the passengers need closure one way or the other.

 

I watch the families and especially the parents of children that were on this plane. It absolutely breaks my heart. I know the majority of us have children. I have two and think to myself what if this happened to me. What if my son or daughter just disappeared without a trace? My Goddess, I don’t believe I could bear it. These people are going through hell, I know I would be. I would be willing to try anything just to know what or where my children were. I believe you would too.

 

We honestly need to try to help these people. We have been successful twice before if you remember. I honestly believe we can do it again. Everything else has been tried and has failed. I know personally, I feel guilty every time I see their families on TV. I know deep down in my heart that we can possibly help them. I want you to believe this also. I am asking you as a parent and a friend, to help us give these people some type of closure. Let them know what or where their loved ones are. You and I both know, we would try anything and everything to find our own. Let’s try to do this for these families. We have the power to do this, I know we can. It might take a couple of times repeating this spell. But think what we will be giving these poor families. If it was me, I would have to know and I would want to know what happened to my loved one. Either way the outcome at least I would know and finally have peace. We all know these people are in emotional turmoil, a living hell.

 

We are given our abilities from our Divine Mother for a reason. One of the main reasons is to help mankind anyway and anytime that we can. I am asking, no I am pleading with you because my heart is breaking with these people. Please join us in this ritual. Let us unity again as one. You  have seen for yourself what we can do when we stand together. We are an unstoppable force. Again, I am so sorry and feel very ashamed I have not brought this up sooner. But I honestly figured the plane would have been found by now. I ask the Goddess to forgive me and all the families of this missing plane to forgive me for not bringing this up. I know we can do this. Let’s find that plane and those missing passengers.

 

The Spell

 

The items you will need are something you probably have on hand:

A pure white candle
Some rose petals or lavender beads, fresh or dried

 

When you are alone and quiet, light the candle and allow a picture of the missing plane and passengers to come into your mind.

Speak into the flame words of love and any positive news that you can possibly think about involving this plane. Let the words gently flow into the candle.

When you have finished, say three times:

 

Flight 370, you and your passengers have simply
vanished from this plane of existence.
You have left behind loved ones that are in
turmoil and cannot continue without knowing
what has happened, what has occurred or where
you are.
 
On their behalf, we now petition the Greater Powers
in the Universe to step in and help them in their quest
for answers. Let the plane and passengers of Flight 370
be found or send word of what has happened. We ask
that families now be given peace and if their loved ones
have passed on may they now know peace. Peace is
desperately needed for all concerned.
 
 
Again, we petition this on their behalf. We are children of
the Goddess and we ask this in Her Name.

Blow out the candle and using all your strength and power, push the light in your mind to enfold the plane and its passengers in love wherever they are.

Repeat daily, if possible at the same time until the candle is burnt down, then leave a day’s gap before beginning with a fresh candle. The message after the first candle can be shortened or you can add your own words

Tools

Black candle

White candle

Athame

Goblet filled with water

Note: this is best performed skyclad, but the same effect can be obtained while fully clothed.

Diety

Ereshkigal, Assyro-Babylonian goddess of the Underworld, known for the ability to shed dead skin to grow and the deep power of renewal.

Setup

Facing north, place the black candle on the altar at south, the white candle at north, and the goblet in the middle.

Cast the Circle

Invocation

Light the black candle.

“Oh, great goddess Ereshkigal, join me in this sacred place. Help me to grow and leave behind the petty ways of the world. Assist me in healing the scars that I have been inflicted with through other’s cruelty. Teach me to respond with love and kindness.”

Passing your athame three times through the fire of the black candle, say:

“Great goddess of the Underworld, as this black candle burns, help me to also burn away the blackness in myself.”

Feel and envision yourself burning away the blackness that you carry with you. Blow out the candle.

Take a drink of water from the goblet. Say:

“With this drink of purity, help me to flush away the cinders left by the burning, so that I may be completely free from maliciousness.”

Take a drop of water from the goblet and place it on the wick of the black candle.

Light the White candle.

Reflect on the purity of the color and the healing power of the light. Say:

“Ereshkigal, assist me in this time of renewal. Help me to heal from the scars that the world has left on me and to rejuvenate myself. Through this renewal, I will be better able to act with compassion and patience towards those that seek to hurt me.”

Take time to reflect on this renewal proccess. Feel every part of your body become stronger, healthier, and more pure. Say:

“Oh, Great goddess Ereshkigal, help me to carry this growth and renewal with me in daily life.”

Extinguish the white candle.

The Witches Magick for March 11th – Control Your Elment Spell

Control Your Elment Spell

To help and understand the practice of using your element to its highest ability.

The first step is to become one with the element you want to work with. Allow it to fill you completely and become a part of you.

Remember you are working with an energy greater than yourself. You must be at one with the element before it can affect you. Feel that you are made of only the element you have chosen. Say to yourself, “I am one with Infinite (name of element),” until you feel as though you are that element. Feel the infinite energy of the element coursing through you, and know that it has the power to affect you. See yourself as taking on the characteristics that this larger power possesses.

A useful exercise is practicing becoming in tune with the different elements.

For water, float in a pool or play in the bath;

for earth, go lie down in a field or forest, or even in your own backyard;

for air you can visit a windy hill or sit in front of a fan;

for fire, sit in a desert or a dry sauna. If this is unavailable, you could turn up the heat in your home.

Breathe in the element feeling its energy fill you, cleansing you, then breathe out letting the element take out any impurities with it. Spend at least a week on each element. Then practice becoming the element. With steady practice you will get results.

Now you can guide how this greater energy will specifically affect you. A good way to do this is to think about the area you are trying to heal (if you are interested in healing yourself, for example), and give yourself affirmations such as: My stomach is peaceful and tranquil. Or: The pain is gone. Or you can even just use one word affirmations like: Peace, tranquility, soothing, etc. You are in effect taking the broad characteristics of an element and trying to narrow it down to your specific problem.

Keep up your concentration until you have an effect, which is not always easy to do, especially if you are experiencing great pain. Feeling one with the element, focusing it on a particular problem, while saying your affirmations, all at the same time. It can get a bit difficult, but the rewards are worth the trouble. It may take several minutes to achieve results, depending upon the problem.

If after many minutes of concentration you have not received the full benefit, try letting go of the images and let the element follow through on its own. This is especially true in cases of diarrhea, which usually takes several hours. You may have to use several treatments until you achieve the desired effect.

After you know what each element can do, you can tailor your treatments to a specific purpose.

Salt and Water Clearing Spell

Cast this spell to rid yourself of pain, hurt and sadness.

After dark, draw a magick circle and call in the elements. Put three pinches of sea salt in a chalice of water. Stir the water counterclockwise with your athame. Sit quietly and turn you mind toward what you want to get rid of your worries, problems, disappointments, sadness, hurt feelings, and fears. Hold the cup in between your hands, and say three times:

Clear the pain. Clear the hurt. Clear the sadness.

Sip three sips of the water. Before each sip, repeat:

I rid myself of all negativity, right now.

Allow all of your negative feelings to be cleansed with the salt water. Imagine transforming any pain or sadness into positive change elements in your life. Feel yourself being cleansed of all that burdens you. When you are done, bid farewell to the elements and pull up the circle.

Empty the remaining water down the drain, and clean your chalice thoroughly with clear, cool water.

MEMORY RITE

This rite is good for anyone, even those who assume they have had perfect childhoods. You don’t always realize the past is dragging you down until it’s too late and you would be amazed by what you can find out about yourself.

You will need:

Yellow candles

Kamea of sol

A box of any shape or size

A solar incense

And music of a childlike nature to enhance the atmosphere

Preparation:

The box should have a lid. Paint the inside glossy black, or line it with an irregular reflective surface such as aluminum foil. The outside should be decorated with any drawing, pictures or whatever one may want to help evoke a childlike state of mind and help trigger childhood memories.

Start with an opening of any sort you feel comfortable with. Light candles and incense as desired.

State the intent “It is my will to greet my past and accept it for what it is”.

Recite the invocation:

I call the past to meet the present,

That the future may be bright.

I bring myself forth from the dark,

And hold me to the light.

Let not the past control my present,

Let not my future be dark as night.

I meet and greet my with open arms,

And move back into the light.

At this point, one person sits in the center of the group with their box, keeping it closed. She focuses on the box while the rest of the participants circle around, teasing, insulting, degrading her. At this point, the teasing should not be too personal. When she reaches gnosis, she opens the box and gazes inside, seeing whatever she sees. Now the taunting should reach a more personal and vicious attitude. This continues until they close their box again.

The box then is dealt with in whatever manner she sees fit. It can be destroyed, left open in a spot of sunlight, or kept for future uses as it may be a good idea to do this more then once.

When the first person is finished, another takes her place until the entire group has a turn.

Tired Of Winter Yet? See If This Helps Beat the Winter Blues!

I always look through all my books during this time of year because I am bored. Every year, I keep coming back to this simple ritual. I do it and it gives me reassurance Spring is just around the corner. It will not only refresh your room, your soul but also you. I hope you try it and find it as useful as I have.

Winter Blue Banishment

Winters can be long and Spring can seem far away in February. Confined indoors by the cold and inhospitable weather, we can become depressed and lethargic. We neglect ourselves and leave a dusty and cluttered household. Despite that it lifts the spirits to clean out all the physical and mental cobwebs, we will find it hard to do this basic task. To start, simply choose one room, preferably. the room where you spend the most time. Burn some lavender incense. Smudge the corners of the room and yourself. Then open the blinds or drapes and call out:

“Go, snow, go. Come, Sun, Come!”

Keep the incense burning and with your broom walk deosil while  sweeping the ceilings. Chant:

“Sun and broom
swept the room.
Fill us with Spring perfume.”
 

Continue cleaning  from top to bottom. When the room is finished, take a deep breath and fill your lungs with the clean lavender scent. Envision your inner room as clean and full of Spring’s perfume.

Overcoming your Shadows

Items You Will Need:

Cedar or sage smudging stick or cleansing incense
Bell Athame or ritual knife
White candle
Cakes and wine or juice

Purpose:

This spell, which signifies letting go the hurts of the past in a way that allows you to move forward with fresh energy into the future, can be performed at the time of the New Moon. By carrying it out every New Moon you are gradually able to cleanse yourself of the detritus of the past, often as far back as childhood

The Spell:

Cast your circle using the smudge stick or -incense to sweep the space as you move -around the circle clockwise.

Think of your space as being dome-shaped -over your head and cleanse that space too.

Ring the bell.

With your arms raised and your palms facing -upwards, acknowledge the Goddess and say:

Great Goddess, Queen of the Underworld, Protector of all believers in you, It is my will on this night of the new moon

To overcome my shadows and bring about change.

I invite you to this my circle to assist and protect

me in my rite.

Hold your athame or knife in your hands in -acknowledgement of the God and say:

Great God, Lord of the Upper realms, Friend of all who work with you, It is my will on this night of the new moon To overcome my shadows to bring about change. I invite you to my circle to assist me and protect me in my rite.

Light the candle and say:

Behind me the darkness, in front of me the light As the wheel turns, I know that every end is a beginning. I see birth, death and regeneration.

Spend a little time in quiet thought. If you can -remember a time either in the last month or-previously when times have not been good-for you, concentrate on that.

While the candle begins to burn properly -remember what that time felt like.

Now concentrate on the candle flame and -allow yourself to feel the positivity of the-light. Pick up the candle and hold it high-above your head.

Feel the energy of the light shower down -around you, the negativity drain away.

Now draw the power of the light into you -and feel the energy flowing through you.

Pass the candle around you and visualize the -energy building up.

If you wish, say: “Let the light cast out darkness.”

Now ground yourself by partaking of the -food and drink. Thank the God and Goddess -for their presence.

Withdraw the circle.

This is a very personal way for you to acknowledge the God and Goddess in your everyday life. While on first acquaintance it appears to be a protection technique, it is actually one to enhance your energies and to allow you to be healthy and happy in all levels of existence.

clock as you draw with the sand falling slowly. Say:

Set altar facing East. Use the following items:

One blue candle

3 kernels unpopped corn

One apple cut on the cross, showing the pentagram inside

Light your candle with the following words:

“Great Goddess, Lady of the Summerlands,
Mother to us all. I welcome you to this place of power
and offer thanks to you for what you have given me.
I am a priestess of your path and I see with your eyes.
You guide me in the lessons I must learn.”
 

Put the bottom half of the apple in front of you. Charging the three kernels of corn between your hands, say:

“As the Maiden is ripe with potential, so is my life.
As the Mother gives birth, so do my thoughts.
As the Crone nourishes life, so do I nourish mine.”
 

Place the kernels in the center of the core-pentagram and melt wax from your candle to cover them. Replace the top of the apple while the wax is till warm. Let the apple sit on your altar for 3 days and nights. Remove wax token and bury apple. The wax token can remain on your altar for as long as you wish.

As the first full moon after the winter solstice or Yule, the Wolf Moon is one of the most important of the high moons. A  full moon occurs when the sun and the moon are aligned on opposite sides of the earth. This alignment of the two celestial bodies has a strong effect on the  earth. This alignment of the two celestial bodies has a strong effect on the earth, producing a time when energy is high. This is why full moon rituals can  be incredibly powerful times for doing magick.
When looking through the eyes of the wolf, the idea is to perceive the true nature of people, events and experiences.  Expand your perception and awareness using the instincts of the wolf. The wolf is part of a pack that use their knowledge and wits to survive a time when the  earth is cold and barren.
This is also when new patterns are conceived, setting the stage for what is to come. This is also the ideal time for  foretelling the future, clairvoyance, and divination practices.
At midnight, begin by drawing a circle of light. This is done by standing at your altar and pounding the stick end of  your wand on the altar nine times. Pick up you athame and point it toward the north point of your circle. Starting and ending in the north, draw a magickal  circle of light clockwise around the circle. Next, call in the elements of earth, air, fire and water.
Standing in the middle of the circle, call in the powers of the wolf:
“On this full moon night at this hour
I call now upon the ancient animal powers
To guide me in the ways of the wolf
Where instinct and wit prevail
Through darkness, wind, rain and hail
I am the wolf, the wolf is me
So be it! Blessed be!
As you enjoy your evening, imagine seeing through the eyes of the wolf. Imagine dreaming with the eyes of the wolf. In  the morning pull up the circle and thank the elements. Also than the wolf for its guidance and power.

Second Sight Spell

Goal: To increase psychic abilities.

Items Needed:

Purple candle
Piece of amethyst.

Be careful what you ask for-psychic abilities can be a mixed blessing. If you want to work on expanding yours, go slowly and don’t forget to use protective shields. A good familiar can help ground you while you do psychic work if you ask nicely. Perform this spell under the full moon–outside, if possible. Light the candle and hold the amethyst up to your third eye (between your eyebrows and up a bit).
