My friends, I hope you have a very beautiful & blessed Sunday afternoon!

Blessed Be My Friend Pictures

Well my friends, I hate to leave good company but the truth be told, this beast about beat my rump. I have several closed graphics sites that I use when I am designing new graphics for this one. I spent about two hours whipping them up over there and then about 12 hours transferring everything over. It was one thing after another. But now that it has had its trial run today, I will say it was time well spent. The site ran smoothly, posted quickly, with just a few bugs to iron out. I believe they are now ironed out, those bugs involved people receiving our posts through email. Somewhere along the line, the color is suppose to switch over for those people. But it didn’t. I had to go back and redo those posts and finally the template got the hint. It started changing things over to the proper color.

I feel like our posting problems are solved for the next four years away. I will ask a favor of you. Since we went from a white background to a black background, you will run across posts that you can’t read. When you do please let us know, that way we can switch the color over on them. I know it is suppose to happen automatically but I don’t have much faith in technology anymore. So please report any of those to us.

I have my eyes propped open with toothpicks and before those toothpicks break I still have work to do. I have the blog page here to do and about six other sites that are waiting for a thing or two to be changed on them. So with that in mind, wish me good luck and I am off to work again. Tomorrow, we will be running 100% now that we know that we can again. Till then, my sweets……

Have a very blessed Sunday!

Love ya,

Lady A

Your Daily Horoscopes for Monday, May 4th

by Rick Levine

General Horoscope

Breaking free from restrictions is quite liberating, yet we may take things too far today. We can see out the window and we’re tempted to use a hammer to smash the glass as constrictive Saturn forms a stressful alignment with Uranus. But an excessive Sun-Jupiter square encourages us to overstep our limits as if we don’t know when to stop. Meanwhile, the Scorpio Moon drives our feelings deeper as we seek radical ways to express them.

Aries Horoscope

(Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You must make a decision today as your desire to demonstrate your love conflicts with more practical pursuits. It’s as if your gesture of affection could cause negative ripples in other parts of your life. Nevertheless, you might choose to proceed as if you didn’t care what happens next. Be careful; there’s no reason to push an unstable situation past the point of no return. Your plans will only fall apart if you go overboard in your drive to experience pleasure in the moment. Observe the edge without going over it.

Taurus Horoscope

(Apr 20 – May 20)

Everything seems more complicated than necessary today. People may tell you more than you deem appropriate and knowing too much isn’t a comfortable position for you. You might want to retreat in your mind to a simpler time, but going back to the past won’t prevent the future from arriving. The wheels are in spin and you can’t stop them even if it all feels like too much. You have the best chance to positively influence the future when you fearlessly act with good intentions. Instead of closing down your heart to protect it, keep returning to a place of love.

Gemini Horoscope

(May 21 – Jun 20)

You may be so busy today that you don’t have time to get anything done. Part of the problem is your frantic need for personal interaction. You might spend more time at the water cooler sharing your weekend adventures or on coffee break exchanging gossip with your coworkers. Consider why you’re avoiding your work before you land in trouble with your boss. There are smarter routes to expressing your independence than baiting authority by goofing off. Maintain your reputation by setting clear priorities and sticking with them. Less talk and more action is the key to your success.

Cancer Horoscope

(Jun 21 – Jul 22)

You might employ complex tactics to keep your emotions off everyone else’s radar screens. Unfortunately, the logic that drives this evasive strategy may be faulty to begin with. If you try to steer clear of expressing the wanderings of your heart, you could get drawn into an argument about your core values, anyway. If your insecurities start to show, your passions will rise and you’ll likely slip and say more than you intended. Believe it or not, it’s less stressful if you just speak your truth right from the start.

Leo Horoscope

(Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Being the identified optimist in your group can be a blessing because people like to bask in your enthusiasm. However, too much of a good thing may backfire today. Blind faith won’t get you to your destination any faster; it will only have you running off the road with your eyes closed. The power of positive thinking works for you as long as you apply small doses of self-restraint along the way.

Virgo Horoscope

(Aug 23 – Sep 22)

You might believe that angels will swoop down to rescue you today — and maybe they will. But, unfortunately, maybe they won’t — and this isn’t a risk that’s worth taking now. Even if you have helpers in other dimensions working on your behalf, it’s still smart to go through all the motions as if you were on your own. Positive intentions and rigorous follow-through will likely be rewarded. As the Arab proverb says, “Tie up your camel first and then put your trust in God.”

Libra Horoscope

(Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Your vision of the future is wide open today; you feel as if the sky is the limit. However, you may push your luck too far and the price you might have to pay for your bad judgment isn’t worth the possible rewards. People may mean well when they encourage you to act on your dreams but be wary of anyone who says you can do anything you want now. Even if you’re more capable than you admit to yourself, acknowledging both your strengths and your weaknesses makes the difference between failure and success.

Scorpio Horoscope

(Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Your passion for your work overcomes any reservations you may have about turning down a new project. However, just because you can talk yourself into saying yes, this doesn’t make it a good idea. Don’t be a fool and rush in so fast that you lose sight of the common sense that should be guiding your decisions at work. A tried and true tactic is to make a list of all the pros and cons of the venture. Making an informed choice is only possible after you objectively assess the opportunity from all angles.

Sagittarius Horoscope

(Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Expressing your creativity today might require you to step so far out of the box that you can’t even remember what containment felt like. Exploring your imagination is enticing, but it’s not without its complications. Admittedly, traveling out of the realms of certainty and into the world of unrealized inspiration is a gamble. There are no definite cause-and-effect guarantees in the Land of Vision. Nevertheless, your current attraction to the potential of the unleashed mind may be irrepressible now. No one can take this journey but you.

Capricorn Horoscope

(Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Your friends can’t see the weight of responsibility you are carrying on your shoulders now. They might expect you to be more happy-go-lucky than you actually feel. However, you have neither the time nor the energy to stop and explain yourself to every person you meet along your way today. Don’t let anyone talk you out of your current plan of action. You mean business, but your optimism is strongly at work beneath the surface, motivating you to do great things. When you reach for the stars, you have the power to change the world.

Aquarius Horoscope

(Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Breaking out of a rut has consequences today, but you’re willing to wager on your future. Taking a calculated risk is admirable, assuming you have actually done the logical analysis first. However, you could miss your opportunity to make a knowledgeable decision if you don’t even stop to think about the ramifications of what you say or do. Limits are not meant to hold you back now; instead, they can clarify what is important and what is not. Free your mind and the rest will follow.

Pisces Horoscope

(Feb 19 – Mar 20)

You are hopeful that your compassionate nature will get you through a difficult obstacle course today. Fortunately, your inspirational objectives are a tremendous help, but they are not enough to save the day by themselves. You can see the top of the mountain, but must have a concrete plan to reach the summit or you will fall short of your mark. However, once all the pieces are in place, you still need to come through with the goods. Realizing your goals requires a methodical execution; there is no rest for the ambitious.

Your Daily Horoscopes for Sunday, May 3rd

Aries

There is a Scorpio Full Moon tonight, Aries, and in your solar chart, this lunation can bring sudden awareness or revelations and culminations to financial, sharing, or ownership matters. You might learn of money coming in, or experience a sudden awareness of what you owe and a need to settle debts. A revelation about your talents or worth, or a relationship, may be part of the picture. Emotions run very high now, so it’s especially important to keep things in perspective. While you need a push, wait to make critical decisions when things settle down. The Full Moon is exciting on its own, but other influences bring more temperamentality to the day. It’s important not to overstate or overcommit on a whim today. You can be feeling extravagant.

Taurus

With the Full Moon in your opposing sign tonight, Taurus, you might suddenly become aware of feelings for someone or a relationship matter can turn the corner. There is a tendency to come to big conclusions. Something about you or a partner, or the relationship itself, can be exposed in some manner. This is a time of possibly epiphanies, announcements, and commitments. If you’ve been focusing a little too much on your own needs, circumstances occurring now can encourage you bring a better balance to your life. It’s important, however, to avoid speaking or acting too soon. Take a bit of time to process your feelings, new information that might emerge now, and recent revelations. Some tensions with family and friends are possible today, and the tendency to go over the top is strong, but you may very well benefit from splurging a little.

Gemini

Today’s Full Moon in Scorpio is set to bring more clarity to work, daily routines, and health matters in your life, Gemini. Changes are necessary, and being flexible enough to allow them to happen will make transitions much easier. Revelations or events occurring now can stimulate a strong desire or need to get going on a work project or exercise program, for example, or a work project can begin or end. You may very well experience a re-igniting of passion for what you’re doing. This is a time when you could be taking stock of what you’ve accomplished and question whether it’s enough. You may want to expand, but avoid jumping in too quickly or too soon. Think big, but wait for emotions, which are running especially high, to settle in before making very important decisions.

Cancer

Tonight’s Scorpio Full Moon can illuminate matters, Cancer, particularly revolving around a romantic affair, creative project, or children. There can be a turning point involving any of these things, or a revelation that forces an issue. Emotions or situations that you’ve been overlooking or ignoring are now emerging. Be careful now, as a desire to impress, or simply a good mood, can have you overspending, overstating, and overdoing in general today. Have some fun, but know your limits! This Full Moon can certainly bring a romantic or creative matter to your sudden attention, and emotions can be overflowing as you explore your feelings. Attractions, crushes, and admirers may come to light now and this week.

Leo

Tonight’s Full Moon in Scorpio brings out powerful emotions, Leo, and can also stimulate your extravagance as it is in challenging aspect to Jupiter in your sign. Previously buried, hidden, or overlooked matters can emerge now, and revelations might push you to make changes and improvements. Domestic conditions are illuminated. There may be a need for house repairs,  or there could be family or personal dramas that demand your attention, after several weeks of strong focus on your more worldly activities. You should watch for impulsiveness, cockiness, and exaggeration, particularly in your professional or public communications. Today and tomorrow, watch for errors made from ignoring or glossing over details and from your own ego. Be sure to honor your need for time at home or resting.

Virgo

Emotions run high today, Virgo, not only due to a Full Moon tonight in passionate Scorpio, but also because of temperamental aspects occurring today and tomorrow. Occurring in your sector of mind, communications, and transportation, revelations or culminations occurring now can revolve around what you’re learning. What’s said, or left unsaid, can quickly become a full-blown issue today. Revelations about a personal interest, subject of study, or communications project can be experienced now, and these can clear the path for change and improvement. Avoid being too impulsive when it comes to expressing yourself, as much as you feel you need to communicate, as there is a tendency to speak too soon or too much, and to go over the top. A culmination of a writing or learning project can occur now. Publicity and promotion are themes.

Libra

The Full Moon in Scorpio and some challenging aspects today can point to a rather intense day, Libra. There can be heightened emotions surrounding money, possessions, values, and talents. There can be a culmination or epiphany occurring now. You can have an important revelation about money or business, but there might instead be a situation in which you need to stand up for your values and your worth. There can be significant news about a financial matter, but as much as you want to be in charge of things, there is also an excessive quality to the day. Feelings can be dramatic now, but as they settle in over the next few days, you should be better prepared to act on them. You may also be dealing with a conflict over whether to stick with what has worked for you in the past or to make risky changes. It’s not an easy day for decision making, but it’s a good day to gain more clarity about your life.

Scorpio

Tonight, the Moon is Full in your sign, Scorpio, and emotions reach a peak and point of release. You need to express yourself! You may be challenged to confront some important, perhaps previously buried, issues in your life. Instincts tend to trump reason or logic right now. You might have an important revelation, and this can be about a relationship or partner, or about your own needs and your image. There is a tendency for quite a bit of drama today, and while this may very well be what you need to release some of your pent-up feelings, excesses now could be costly later, so you may want to watch for over the top actions and assertions. As well, you could be dealing with building tensions surrounding money and compensation for all that you do. If people haven’t been treating you as valuable and worthy, the situation may reach a boiling point now.

Sagittarius

With a Full Moon occurring tonight, an issue that has been brewing for some time may be forced to a head, Sagittarius. With this lunation occurring in your privacy sector and in challenging aspect with your own ruler, Jupiter, be very vigilant about what you say! Try not to speak too soon on an matter. For some of you, a work or health matter can reach a turning point. You may be alerted to a stronger need for rest, down time, reflection, and time spent quietly and/or alone. This Full Moon can very well bring an epiphany about a tricky matter (or relationship) from the past. The solar twelfth house, where it occurs, is a sector of gaining closure, letting go, and releasing negative energy, so circumstances occurring now may point out what needs to go.

Capricorn

Tonight’s Full Moon in Scorpio is passionate, dear Capricorn, and brings epiphanies and sudden awareness of a matter that’s been in the works for some time now. A creative, social, or romantic matter can reach a turning point. Harness the power of this revelation and exciting energy and set some important goals. Your social life can be laced with some drama now. When interacting with friends, lovers, and even associates, recognize the signs of a too-strong ego. There is extravagance in the air, and while you can be quite dissatisfied with some elements of your life, it may be better not to say or do the first thing that comes to mind. Think big, but don’t overshoot. Nervous tension is very possible today, especially if things are not very settled on the home front.

Aquarius

Tonight’s Scorpio Full Moon pulls out all sorts of emotions and stimulates passions today, Aquarius. Add to the mix some temperamental aspects, and the day’s energies seem quite loaded. The Full Moon can point to recognition or change in your career path. There could be announcements, awards, or simply strong realizations occurring now. The need to put your past behind you is strong so that you can make necessary changes in both your personal and professional lives. A project can come to fruition, or a decision may need to be made. Those things you’ve swept under the carpet demand attention this week. There may be frustrating issues surrounding friendships, transportation, learning, and mobility to contend with today, and you can also feel quite swamped with responsibilities that prevent you from getting ahead in areas you’re truly interested. Be as flexible as you can be – difficult with all of this very fixed, stubborn energy surrounding you, but nevertheless an important strategy now.

Pisces

There is a Scorpio Full Moon tonight, Pisces, and whenever the Moon reaches full in Scorpio, a yearly occurrence, you can be all worked up on a mental level, as this lunation occurs in your solar third house of learning, the mind, and transportation. It can be difficult to channel and focus this excess energy, however, and it’s important to give yourself time to process whatever new information that comes in right now before leaping into action. It’s very important that even if some wonderful new projects and prospects come into your life now, that you don’t immediately jump to take them on until you’ve decided what these might replace. There are rather temperamental energies occurring at the same time, and for you, tension can revolve around money and work or major life-plan matters. Whether to go with what has worked in the past or to take a risk in order to innovate can be a tough decision on the table now.

Full Moon in Scorpio Horoscopes

We’re caught in a tug-of-war during May’s Full Moon

Rick LevineRick Levine on the topics of scorpio, moon, horoscopes, full moon, astrology

Although Full Moons are normally turning points, we won’t be changing our minds too quickly because the unwavering Scorpio Full Moon on May 3, 2015, stands firm, opposite the persistent Taurus Sun. We are caught in the middle of a tug-of-war between Taurus’ need for simplicity and Scorpio’s fascination with complexity.

We may be required to recheck our facts if we have jumped to an incorrect conclusion. Encountering resistance around this Full Moon is a call to reassess our assumptions and reconsider our positions while rational Mercury is engaged in a tense opposition to realistic Saturn. We may even overreact because righteous Jupiter is also in the picture, squaring the Sun and the Full Moon. Jupiter’s presence urges us to turn a minor problem into a major crisis but, thankfully, the energy will settle back down quickly in the days following the Full Moon. In the meantime, we are best served by letting go of fixed perspectives to make room for new and improved ones.

Aries Horoscope (March 21 – April 19)

Sticking close to the facts is crucial because deviations from the truth elicit an unavoidable reality check. You can run into trouble if you don’t think about the impact of your words before you speak. But you won’t get away with shallow communication while the Scorpio Full Moon illuminates your 8th of Deep Sharing. Creating intimacy in a relationship requires you to have the courage to delve into your emotions. Open your heart and meet the other person halfway.

Taurus Horoscope (April 20 – May 20)

You have big ideas about how much you can accomplish, only to realize you underestimated the time needed to achieve your goals. If you promise more than you can deliver, someone might confront you with his or her disappointment over your lack of productivity. It’s all too tempting to just ignore the criticism with the Scorpio Full Moon’s presence in your 7th House of Others. Nevertheless, actively listening without becoming overly defensive increases your chances for happiness in the long run.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – June 20)

You might not be willing to accept opinions that you consider to be unnecessarily critical when the Scorpio Full Moon lights up your 6th House of Details. However, your sharp tongue can be quite cutting if someone gets on your case. But your sarcasm could be a byproduct of your unexpressed hurt feelings. Instead of masking the truth with humor, take a risk and acknowledge your vulnerability. Being human isn’t always easy, but it’s the only option available at this time.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – July 22)

Conjuring up nostalgic memories of the past when relationships seemed less complicated won’t help your current situation. The emotionally intense Scorpio Full Moon floods your 5th House of Romance, bending your social life out of shape. However, this warping of reality is simply a sign that change cannot be avoided any longer. Don’t retreat from a conflict of values that needs to be addressed. Facing a tough issue that stands between you and someone you love can ultimately simplify the dynamics and bring harmony back into your relationship.

Leo Horoscope (July 23 – Aug. 22)

Rest assured that your situation is about to improve as the Scorpio Full Moon casts her light in your 4th House of Domestic Conditions. Meanwhile, your unspoken feelings are stretched like a rubber band and the tension could make you quite uncomfortable. Unfortunately, there aren’t any quick fixes to the complex circumstances that are tangling up your personal life. However, it’s up to you to facilitate the necessary change by making enough time with family members to talk about those things that truly matter.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)

You are anticipating a shift in the emotional dynamics in your immediate environment, but you don’t know how it will play out. But even if you decide to maintain the status quo in your daily routine, you still feel the pressure to change. The provocative Scorpio Full Moon highlights your 3rd House of Communication, inspiring you to reveal feelings that aren’t easy to bring out into the open. However, sharing your heart’s desires is the first step toward manifesting the improvements you so desperately seek.

Libra Horoscope (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

Just because you have a tough time making up your mind sometimes, your indecision isn’t necessarily a sign of weakness. In fact, you often go out of your way to be objective when choosing one path or another. However, you must announce your choice while the various alternatives are still available now. The Scorpio Full Moon enlightens your 2nd House of Core Beliefs, empowering you to hold on to a position even if you are uncertain about it. Be strong; don’t compromise your values for the sake of temporary convenience. Follow your instincts and don’t look back.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

You could inadvertently undermine your position or lessen your effectiveness by expressing your feelings now. A more strategic move is to carefully monitor your inner process rather than running with your gut reaction. Today’s evocative Full Moon is in your sign, sensitizing you to the subtle energies in the atmosphere. However, waiting for the right moment to share what’s in your heart enables you to gain power rather than lose it to a fleeting moment of passion..

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

Something important is ready to go down in a relationship, but you might not be able to wrap your mind around it yet. The seductive Scorpio Full Moon reflects the energy of your 12th House of Destiny while powerful unconscious forces pull you in directions that aren’t yet apparent. But overreacting now won’t lead to satisfaction. If plans for the future seem to be growing out of control, just roll with the waves for a few more days. Ultimately, being honest with those you love is your best path to creating positive change.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

Your intentions may be up in the air as the mysterious Scorpio Full Moon activates your 11th House of Long-Term Goals. However, it’s not as if you’re lost in the dark; you have likely struggled plenty to figure things out. Although you clearly understand the dynamics at play, you just don’t know how to put the pieces together to make it all work. Relinquishing control doesn’t mean that you have failed. In fact, releasing the reins at the right time is a true act of courage and grace. Close your eyes and let the Force be with you.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

People seem to think you can do nearly anything these days, leaving you a bit worried about meeting their expectations. It isn’t that you lack determination; it’s just that you may feel as if you’re in over your head and the pressure to get it right is overwhelming. Nevertheless, the resolute Scorpio Full Moon occupies your 10th House of Public Responsibility, so you’re not willing to just walk away from it all. Don’t allow your fears to work against you. Breathe deeply and give it your best shot; your true friends won’t ask for anything more.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb. 19 – March 20)

Your active imagination enables you to see things in a different light. But this paradoxical approach to reality may be a burden because it’s no simple task to explain your intuitive process to anyone else. Nevertheless, the perceptive Scorpio Full Moon stimulates your 9th House of Future Vision, empowering you to influence the unfolding changes by visualizing them before they occur. Trust your inner guidance; your feelings are probably more in tune now with the big picture than you think.

Let your light shine bright this week!

While communication matters might be hazy, there are so many bright spots to this week that you won’t even care. Here’s why…

Monday, May 4: Sun in Taurus square Jupiter in Leo

On Monday, the Sun will square off with Jupiter making it a “larger than life” day for all of us. With the Sun in hard aspectto Jupiter, your ego might get the best of you. Enjoy the possibilities that Jupiter will bring in terms of shining your light in a major way, but be careful that you don’t expect the world to bow down to you and all of your glory.

Wednesday, May 6: Sun trine Pluto

On Wednesday, it’ll feel like you’re in complete control of the universe. Well, at least yours. The Sun will be at a magnificent trine to Plutowhich will intensify all the goodness of your vital spirit, without any of the nasty side effects from Monday. In fact, you’ll have the ability to direct your energy towards transforming a part of your life that you know needs an overhaul. You’ll be successful.

Thursday, May 7: Venus in Cancer

On Thursday, Venus will enter Cancer where she’ll remain until June 5. This is always a great placement to enjoy greater harmony in all domestic matters. You and your sweetheart or whomever you share space with will take great pleasure in any type of home makeover now. Financially, this placement favors real estate investments and also decisions related to family estate planning.

Saturday, May 9: Mercury in Gemini square Neptune

Don’t make any major decisions or sign contracts on Saturday. That’s when Mercury squares off with Neptune. Mental blurriness will be a problem for everyone.

May’s Scorpio full Moon falls in the evening of May 3 in the US and the middle of the day on May 4 in Australia. The major aspect of this full Moon is the square from the Sun and Moon to Jupiter at Leo 14. This degree is very much about communications, communicating with others, receiving messages and inputs, along with sending them out to others. Pluto is also aspecting this lunation, bringing a sense of power and transformation to many situations that demand that we sit up and pay attention.

The full Moon each month marks a time of heightened energies and events. It often marks the culmination of the energies released at the new Moon. Emotions can be supercharged as the Sun and Moon are on opposite sides of the zodiac and illumination is increased – it’s like we can see in the dark – and we can be hyper-aware as well as being hyper-awake. The effects of a full Moon can be major or minor, depending on how they interact with your own chart. Sometimes, realisations or events that are unleashed, or unlocked, can stretch their meaning months into the future. A lot can be learned at the time of the full Moon and whether it’s lunacy or illumination, or a combination of both, there’s magic unleashed with every full Moon.

The Sabian Symbol for the full Moon is Scorpio 14: TELEPHONE LINEMEN AT WORK INSTALLING NEW CONNECTIONS

The following is from my book The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees Of Wisdom.

‘Telephone Linemen at Work Installing New Connections’ shows people working and concentrating on laying the ‘Lines’ for ‘Connections’ so that people may communicate with each other easily and effectively. They are laying cables to allow for the smooth functioning of the ‘Telephone’ system. They have a clear understanding of how the equipment works and how necessary and valuable it is to enable people to link up with each other.

This Symbol reflects an increase in the forms of communication that you can have access to, or that you have more communications coming to you. You may find that there has been a failure in communicating your thoughts, ideas or emotions lately. Something is being (or needs to be) done, or laid down, in order to solve, repair or patch up the situation. There is nothing to be achieved by worrying about any recent “connection” failures, however something should be done to set about making or repairing the necessary ‘Lines’ of communication. Sometimes advice and help must be called on for all to be resolved. This may need to be expert advice, but it can also be gathered from your own common sense. This can symbolize expansion into areas like the Internet, faxes or business lines. It can also represent the spiritual connection to the “other side”, even channeling. Sometimes, however, in the ‘Installing of New Connections’ problems of crossed-lines occur. It’s important to listen for the real truth in the communications that are being made, not to all the faint chitchat that surrounds what’s being said. Networking and new lines of communications often open up after this Symbol is revealed.

Keywords: Acupuncture and other therapies that work on the body’s meridians. The nervous system. The Internet. Forming new lines of communication. New connections taking place. Linking people up. Making sure that messages get through. Mobile phones, faxes, email. Networks and networking. Switchboards. Satellites. Wires. The ability to reach far distances. Getting on other peoples’ wavelengths. Contacts. Hooking up with the system. UFO experiences. Mobile phones. The Caution: Failing to see the necessity for repairs to personal communication. Becoming involved in other people’s lives. Gossip. News, thoughts and ideas spreading rapidly and getting out of control. Constant chatting. Being fickle. Sabotage. Engaged signals.

The Karmic Condition (the degree before) of this full Moon is Scorpio 13: AN INVENTOR PERFORMS A LABORATORY EXPERIMENT.

Discovery is seeing what everyone else has seen and thinking what no one else has thought. Albert von Szent-Gyorgi

If things are not working you may need to ‘Experiment’ – trying different combinations and possibilities. In doing so you will not only most likely find the solution, but you will also learn a lot from any errors that are made along the way. Look for creative solutions to situations facing you. A lot of amazing discoveries can be made simply by having a go at something or creating the right mix of ingredients. As the situation unfolds, you’ll learn clues as to what should be the next thing to do, the tasks that are worth performing or the risks that you are prepared to take. Be prepared to be inventive and make things up as you go along. Sometimes we have to just “go for it” and do what we feel needs to be done without knowing what the outcome is going to be. Take a few calculated risks and along the way you just might discover something unexpected.

Keywords: Creating one’s vision. Thinking quickly and making momentary decisions. Being prepared to risk failure. Bringing different mixes of things and/or people together. Seeing if things live up to expectations. Looking for answers. The “mad professor”. Mixing chemicals. Measuring and weighing. Going by one’s gut reactions. Inventions and experiments. Discovery. Laboratories. Research. The Caution: Becoming obscured by pointless goals. Making things up. Being one-eyed and focused to the exclusion of all else. Not fully understanding the consequences of actions. Always taking risks. Not taking adequate cautions. Not keeping track of what you’re doing. Ignoring warning signs. Being a “mad professor”.

The Sun is on Taurus 14: ON THE BEACH, CHILDREN PLAY WHILE SHELLFISH GROPE AT THE EDGE OF THE WATER

This speaks of peaceful coexistence amongst beings on different levels of evolution. The ‘Children are Playing’ whilst the ‘Shellfish’ are feeding. It shows the essential unity of all life, no matter how “evolved” each being is. Getting back to the basic elements, such as nature, with a sense of ‘Play’ will help alleviate the seriousness of problems or stress. This Symbol implies people and all living things existing together in peace and harmony. They are playing, enjoying and living at the edge of the water on the beach, doing their own thing and getting on with their lives – enjoying life and nature. This is a lovely image of a live-and-let-live attitude. Try taking some time out and interact with others. With the coming and going of the tide, people do what comes most naturally to them. Just be careful that you don’t get out of your depth trying to be like others.

Keywords: Being self-sufficient. Looking after one’s own affairs. A sense of at-one-ment with all forms of life. Having a live and let live attitude. Peripheral vision. Returning to the source. Feeling safe in a natural environment. Playing alongside nature. Building sand castles. Playing in pools or baths. Buckets and spades. Sun protection. Interacting without really interacting. Swimming. Sand, wind and sea. Rockpools. Shellfish, oysters, shrimp.

The Caution: Meddling in people’s lives. Restriction of play. Being distracted. Sandcastles that will eventually get washed away. Not knowing how to loosen up with others and relax into a natural environment. Fussing that people aren’t doing the ‘right thing’. Sunburn and exposure to weather. Voyeurism.

The Karmic Degree for the Sun is Taurus 13: A PORTER CARRYING A MOUNTAIN OF HEAVY BAGGAGE

Up until the time of the full Moon, you may feel like you are carrying too much in the way of ‘baggage’… it seems that we need to be more like the ‘Children Playing At The Beach’ than the ‘Porter’. Otherwise known as a baggage handler or bellboy, he has a lot of work to do. He is performing a service for others and here he is seen as having ‘a Mountain of Heavy Baggage’ to move or ‘Carry’. He needs to remain cheerful and not reveal how much this ‘Mountainous’ load is weighing him down; otherwise he may not get the approval of those he is ‘Carrying’ the load for. There would be no thanks and no “tips” if he were to complain, groan or grumble. ‘Porters’ do a lot of hard work but don’t often get much appreciation or attention. They are expected to just get on with the job, sometimes they become almost invisible. This Symbol can also be an expression of class-consciousness.

Keywords: Self-reliance. Owning other people’s ‘garbage’. Shouldering baggage or weight. Being weighed-down. Feeling responsible for everything. Bad backs and posture. Carrying others. Counseling people, taking on their emotions. Bad backs, shoulders, knees, etc. Strain and wear. Bearing the family guilt. Luggage. Trolleys. Looking for tips.

The Caution: Being busy with other peoples’ problems. Unable to work for your own benefit. Carrying other peoples’ responsibilities. Being indispensable until the energy is all worn out. Not knowing when to say “no” to other’s demands. The burden of debts. Being useful but unimportant.

The Sun symbolizes: One’s core center, spirit, heart, issues to do with father, men, self, ego, your male side. How you radiate your sense of being. What others see, how you are recognized or remembered, sense of identity and connection with male energy – yours and others.

Mercury is on Gemini 5: A RADICAL MAGAZINE OR PUBLICATION, ASKING FOR ACTION, DISPLAYS A SENSATIONAL FRONT PAGE

Sometimes, in order to be taken seriously or be noticed, people need to do or say something rousing, radical or out of the ordinary especially when there is a need, or a desire, to change things. There are probably some strong feelings that ‘Action’ needs to be taken – bear in mind, however, that the status quo can be very hard to awaken, change or shift. As this is a ‘Radical Magazine’ it can lead to moves that are disruptive or even threatening to stability or security in some measure. Further, the ‘Action’ that is being called for can lead to less than desirable outcomes. Events that unfold can be highly charged emotionally. This Symbol speaks of calling for or being motivated for change. Revolution and revolutionaries come in all shapes and sizes; some instigate major changes in society, others are more into bucking the system and creating mini reforms in their own back yards. Although you may not be absolutely sure which direction to take, someone is likely to be broadcasting messages. Look further within for the change in direction you need. Dramatizing one’s situation can lead to overreaction, but doing nothing can lead to inertia and things staying exactly the same. Listening may be important.

Keywords: Speaking one’s mind. Messages and news that awakes or shocks. The need for reform. Challenging outlooks. Breaking out of constraints. The media. Issues of propaganda. Headlines that promise more than they deliver. Revolutions. Social or emotional causes. Conspiracy theories. Printing presses. Publishing. Publicity. Gaining attention. Speaking one’s truth without fear of consequences.

The Caution: Being argumentative. Arousing others for selfish reasons. Distortions of the truth. Misinformation and disinformation. Getting the whole picture wrong. Exploitation of situations. Overstating messages. Biased information. Old and outworn news.

Mercury symbolizes: Mind, thought, communication, memory, expression, intelligence. News, exchanges, chatting, conversations, short journeys, connections with others, telephones, emails, siblings, neighbors, the reasoning mind. Day-to-day activities. Cars, keys, small animals.

Venus is on Gemini 26: WINTER FROST IN THE WOODS

‘Winter Frost in the Woods’ shows things being in a dormant stage. In the woods, winter is a time when energy is being used to reinforce the roots, to strengthen the support system and to build up the nourishment that’s needed for the coming seasonal growth and the fruits of spring and summer. There is no point trying to force growth now, it is not possible, nor is it useful. This is not to say that this is not a valuable time. It is. It can be very easy to lose sight of the importance of each “season”.

Keywords: The calm before the dawn. The silence inherent in cold, barren times. Barren and cold feelings. Refrigeration and freezing. Serenity. Surviving cold conditions. Feeling like one’s on the outside. Being lost in the wilderness. Beautiful surrounds. Lack of fertility. Things freezing up. The need to rug up. Hibernation. Icicles. Battling through hard times. Depression. Growth that is halted or held up. The inevitability of change.

The Caution: Denying the natural flow of the season by trying to rush things. Feeling “frozen out”, lost and neglected. Feeling dead lost and buried. Chills in the air. Keeping one’s feelings on ice. Immobility. Not knowing where to find warmth or nourishment. Losing faith. Infertility. Frigid responses. Stagnation. Loss of love and light. Stunted growth.

The Quest Degree (the degree after) of Venus is Gemini 27: A YOUNG GYPSY EMERGING FROM THE WOODS GAZES AT FAR CITIES

After spending some time in the Winter Frost In The Woods, the ‘Young Gypsy Emerging From the Woods Gazes at Far Cities’ shows someone who is preparing to leave their home, their family and what is familiar to them and move out into a new world. Only so much can be achieved living in the ‘Woods’ and there’s the need, or the desire, to move to ‘Far Cities’. The ‘Gypsy’ is somehow “different”, having things about their background or upbringing that have kept them away from the mainstream. The ‘Gypsy’ also brings to mind music, dancing, the gift of prophecy and a sense of the vibrancy and joy of life.

Venus here is right opposite the Galactic Centre – said to be a point where we create our own realities – a connection to the ‘Mind Of God’.

Keywords: Dreaming of becoming part of something far-off. Streetwise lessons. New perspectives arising from larger realities. The steps from bohemian to corporate and vice-versa. Learning about credentials, using them to advantage. Things that are far off and distant. Ambition. Prophesy, astrology and tarot. Clairvoyance. Gypsies. Leaving family. Moving out on one’s own.

The Caution: Dissatisfaction and always looking elsewhere. A feeling of being “cast out”. Feeling alienated even amongst friends. Finding your self a long way from home. Difficulty turning back. Being in limbo with a lack of ambition. Not having a family to turn to.

Venus symbolizes: Relatedness, cooperation, what attracts you. The experience of sweetness, beauty or delight. Social interactions, love, friends, how you reach out to people. Feminine persona, relationship with mother and females. Money, possessions, sense of values.

Mars is on Taurus 25: A LARGE WELL-KEPT PUBLIC PARK

‘A Large Public Park’ implies a big area of land that has been kept aside from development for the enjoyment of the ‘Public’. The fact that it is ‘Well-Kept’ shows that the ‘Park’ has gardens and public amenities, is well looked after and clean of mess and rubbish. People are able to meet together, play ball, lie in the sun and, perhaps, walk their dog in safety. There’s lots of room to move and things are in their rightful place. In many ways our society is a ‘Public Park’ and we each play a part in its beauty and success, whether our contribution is by working on the gardens or enjoying the amenities. You are part of something important, but you are only a small part or something much larger. As everyone works together, you will be able to create a useful and lasting result that will eventually benefit the whole community. The question is: are you in a balanced state of work and play? Although there is probably a lot of work that needs to be done, fun needs to be given its priorities as much as work and duty. Taking notice of the fact that Mars is here may lead to a feeling of being ‘fenced-in’ and having to live too closely (or too remotely) with others.

Keywords: Paying attention to appearances. People living in peace. Space for everyone. People taking to the streets. Park benches, swings, slippery dips and sandpits. Charities and their work. Maintaining order. Gardens and gardening. Town planning. Work of the few for the pleasure of the many. Appearances kept immaculate. Golf and other sports. Picnics. Eating alfresco. Meeting others out in the open. Large plots of land. Acreage. Subdividing and development. Suburbia.

The Caution: Difficulty in finding privacy. People continually coming by. Having so much to look after without much help. Public possessions being sold off for the benefit of a few. Mugging and robberies. Littering and graffiti.

Mars symbolizes: Drive, determination or agenda, how you get to your goals. How you express and handle anger, ambition, assertion of self and ability to step forward. The male principle, sexuality, the ability to step up to the plate when one needs to. Fight or flight.

Jupiter is on Leo 14: CHERUB-LIKE, A HUMAN SOUL WHISPERS INTO EVERY RECEPTIVE EAR, SEEKING TO MANIFEST

Jupiter is exactly t-squaring this full Moon, which means it is squaring both the Moon and the Sun. This can lead to excesses such as overspending, overeating, over talking, etc… just generally over doing things. This is a Symbol of the desire to be heard and taken seriously, and, it can also be about hearing messages and it can indicate the need to listen to one’s intuition. This ‘Human Soul’ is trying to find a ‘Receptive Ear’, someone who will listen to or understand what’s being said, perhaps to spur others to take some kind of action. Something that has been waiting to be ‘Manifested’, said, heard or realized could come out quite suddenly.

Keywords: New realizations and impulses. Seeking to have one’s voice heard. Messages from the other side. Reincarnation. Channelling information. Spirit descending, wishing to make itself known. Whispering. Passing on news and messages. Seeking embodiment. Trans-personal urges. Cherubs and spirits. Ears and hearing. The urge to accomplish something. Compassion. Manifesting intention.

The Caution: Confusing voices. Signs of instability or madness. Feeling that if one isn’t heard, they will miss out. A need to be noticed and acknowledged. Not feeling like one can speak up. Shouting and making a spectacle. Trying to convince others of something. Misleading statements.

Jupiter symbolizes: The big picture, expansion, exploration, aspirations, religious and philosophical ideals, issues to do with traveling, foreign lands, people and traditions, culture, education, generosity, luck, abundance, support, optimism. Insight through knowledge and wisdom.

Saturn is retrograde on Sagittarius 4: A LITTLE CHILD LEARNING TO WALK WITH THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF PARENTS

This Symbol implies the necessity of those older to be teachers, exemplars or guides to the younger or less experienced. The “Child” needs the “Encouragement” of “Parents” in order to feel supported or guided. At times, you are likely to fulfill the roles of child or parent to others. With Saturn here, you may be moving into new phases of learning that, despite all your previous experience, are surprisingly difficult. Patience and step-by-step progress is needed, as is a guiding hand and a kind word or two. There may be those around you that don’t take your difficulties or responsibility seriously, but your struggles will pay off, particularly if you care and share. The ‘Child’ needs the support of the ‘Parents’ in order to learn how to do many of the most basic things, and, needs guidance, love and encouragement in order to grow and have faith in his or her own abilities. Sometimes we have the ‘Encouragement’ and support of our elders, other times not. The ‘Parents’ can’t be there all the time to catch the ‘Little Child’ if it falls, so the ‘Little Child’ must learn to master the steps that are needed in order to become an independent and confident grown-up.

Keywords: Making genuine progress or always tripping over. Instinctive determination to get on with the job. People taking delight in the smallest progress. Baby steps leading to big things. Trying out and accepting one’s individuality. Help from authorities. Seeking guidance and advice. Feeling mother earth under your feet. Parental assistance. Walking on new ground.

The Caution: Relying on skills not yet mastered. Not taking the initiative to put one’s self forward. Putting your self at risk rather than accepting help. Acting like one is incompetent in order to draw sympathy and/or help. Meddling and “assisting” when one should be on the sidelines, encouraging. Knowing that someone is going to “trip over” and not offering help.

Saturn symbolizes: Authority, rules, discipline and obligation The heavy stuff. What we fear, loss, karma, aging, the establishment, orthodoxy, tradition, status, the concept of time, walls, boundaries, limits, older people, restrictions, patience, conquering difficulties.

The Karmic Degree for Saturn is Sagittarius 3: TWO MEN PLAYING CHESS

Straight after the full Moon, Saturn will retrograde onto ‘Two Men Playing Chess’. This is an image of people concentrating and planning moves in order to defeat their opponent in a game. They have to be quiet, focused and attuned to what it is they’re doing if they want to succeed. The theme of a ‘Chess’ game is to knock the opponent out, to literally kill the king, and to take his position and his territory. There can be a certain degree of tension in the air as each tries to “checkmate” the other. First, one may appear to be “winning”, and then the other may make a sudden, sometimes completely unexpected or unforeseen move, get the upper hand and take the whole game. Alternatively, it could be an all-out slaughter if one person is more practised or efficient at the game than the other.

This Symbol shows the ability, or the necessity, to indulge in strategic games, arguments or competitions. There can be a strong sense of knowing how to maneuver situations in order to come out on top, with an eye to possible outcomes. There’s a need to be thoughtful and cautious, taking into account the wider picture. Impulsive acts with no forward planning can be risky. It probably pays to not show your weak side, but do everything with the possible objective of winning. It can be difficult to relax in competitive environments; one often feels that they can’t let their guard down because they might be taken advantage of. Take one step at a time and move with purpose and forethought.

Keywords: Strategic competition. Seeing the picture several moves ahead. Arguments that can go on and on. Finding justification for being combative. Throwing down the gauntlet to the other. Taking lives. The need for peacekeeping. War strategies. Matching wits. Facing each other head on. Being royalty or being a mere pawn. Tactical maneuvers. Lawsuits. Custody. Having the bigger stick. Divorce. Disputes. Wit against wit.

The Caution: Depending on pure luck. Underestimating the opponent’s skill or strategy. Arguments and arguing for the sake of it. Bickering and trying to get the better of the other. Always taking an opposing side, no matter what is really happening.

Uranus is on Aries 18: AN EMPTY HAMMOCK HANGS BETWEEN TWO LOVELY TREES

This Symbol shows issues of working hard versus taking time out to relax. If you find that you are being too hard on yourself, this Symbol implies that you need to know when to stop, rest and recuperate. Regardless of how much one has to do, it’s no crime to stop to regain your strength. You needn’t sacrifice your opportunity to rest for someone else. Everyone is entitled to their share of peace and pleasure. How about lounging around and taking it easy for a change? Sometimes you need a chance to day dream. On the other hand, have you been slacking off and not getting into what you could be doing?

Keywords: Detachment. Abandonment. Having too much to do to be able to rest. Issues to do with sleep. Sleeping difficulties. Planning for days off or for retirement. Hustle and bustle. Memories of loved ones. Lounging or sitting under trees. Having permission to stop. Time out. Missing a lover. Beds, sheets, pillows, sofas. A favorite chair. Holidays. Trees and gardens.

The Caution: Deliberately pushing when in need of rest OR not being involved in life’s complexities. Dodging responsibilities. Having nowhere to stay rest or retire. Neglecting time for oneself. Too much work and no play. Areas of life which are not fulfilled. Having so much work there’s no time for relationships. Always being on the go.

Uranus symbolizes: The unexpected, things that are individual or ‘different’. Charged, energetic dynamics, electricity, light, lightning bolts, sudden changes, those who live on the fringe of society. Sudden turns and twists of fate. Rebellion, surprises, liberation, freedom.

Neptune is on Pisces 10: AN AVIATOR IN THE CLOUDS

This shows being able to stay on course, not allowing distractions or difficult or confusing issues to deter you from your destination. Perhaps you need to rise above and transcend the more nitty-gritty realities of earthly existence and its difficulties, just be aware that you may not be seeing the complete picture very clearly sometimes. If you take special notice, you may be able to see through illusions, seeing past the surface appearances to things that others miss. You may be able to rely on your spiritual, creative or intellectual skills to take you above and beyond those things that others have to deal with. However, you may also be evading the real truth.

Keywords: Elevated views. Always seeing the best in people and things. Peace and tranquility. The longing for transcendence. Not seeing limitations. Being in a refined “head space”. Mastery. Flight, planes, pilots. Avoidance of time constraints. Pollyanna attitudes. Free flights of fantasy and escapism. The need for accurate navigation. Being in charge of the controls. Seeking higher truths. Maps. Compasses. Global satellite positioning. Clouds. Mist and fog. Hang-gliding. Don’t “over-control” like a novice pilot. Stay loose enough from the flow that you can observe it, modify, and improve it. Donald Rumsfeld

The Caution: Sailing through difficulties or missing what’s really going on. Escapist use of alcohol and drugs, etc. Lack of grounded energy or reality. Being unearthed. Escaping responsibilities. Isolating oneself. Completely missing the point. Feeling high and mighty and above everyone else, particularly with intellectual skills. Wrong turns. Missing the signs. Feeling like you’re living in a fog. Disconnecting from others, leading to isolation. Losing the plot. Taking huge risks. One’s head being separate from the body.

No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings. William Blake

Neptune symbolizes: Mystical, “out there,” spirituality and con artists. Dreams, mysteries, mystics and religious issues. Intuition, clairvoyance, seeing into the invisible. Addictive, chaotic, charming, deceptive, illusory, co dependent, sensory awareness.

Pluto is retrograde on Capricorn 16: SCHOOL GROUNDS FILLED WITH BOYS AND GIRLS IN GYMNASIUM SUITS

This degree shows being vibrant and alive and in the physical body with enthusiasm and excitement about life and the future. The “Gymnasium Suits” shows the need to get active and to stay active, to have time in your life to drop into the physical body and enjoy it. If you’ve been neglecting your physical well-being, it is good to reestablish that affinity with your vitality. Spontaneous enthusiasm and the joy of being ‘alive’ can regenerate and revive and bring about carefree contact with like minded people. The trick is to bring some form of physical discipline into your life while enjoying it and not feeling forced to do what you don’t want to do.’School Grounds Filled With Boys and Girls in Gymnasium Suits’ brings to mind images of youthful people, doing their exercises, playing with and enjoying each other on a physical level. The ‘Boys and Girls’ learn how to interact with each other in the ‘School Grounds’. There is the sense that they are having fun, regardless of their individual level of fitness. Some will be very good at sports and be the stars in the ‘Gym’ whilst others are there because they want to join in the fun or because they are instructed to be there and have no choice. Many of their relationship lessons are first learnt here.

Keywords: Developing muscular coordination. Sexual energy, attraction or satisfaction. Playing, marching, competition, rivalry. Singing songs of unity. New anthems for the young. The search for identity. Being able to accomplish things on the physical level. Physical fitness. Uniforms and uniformity. Gymnasiums. Exercise equipment. Conscription. Being one of many. Chiron is on Pisces 21: A LITTLE WHITE LAMB, A CHILD AND A CHINESE SERVANT

This is a Symbol that shows the innocence and purity of both childhood and the animal realm. The ‘Child’ is symbolic of potential and curiosity and the need for care and supervision; and the ‘Chinese Servant’ shows the freedom for self-development apart from family influence or dominance. The ‘Little White Lamb’ is of no threat to the ‘Child’ even if things get out of control. The ‘Chinese Servant’ shows that the safety concerns of the ‘Child’ and, indeed, also of the ‘Lamb’, will be watched over and monitored. Being a ‘Chinese Servant’, the care will probably be more lenient than if a parent were involved. There is likely to be more consideration of the value of life experience and lessons rather than domination and discipline. The ‘Child’ pictured may need the guidance, help and nurturance of the ‘Chinese Servant’ because of special needs or because the parents are too busy with their own lives to provide childcare. This shows being able to provide care, safety and comfort to those who need it. The “Child” has a “Servant”; he is well looked after. He also has a “Little White Lamb”, an animal companion, one he can be with, hug and enjoy. In our early years it was the sense of touch that was initially satisfied. If you felt cradled and comfortable, you could grow knowing that all was safe and well. You could find yourself in a place of privilege; cradled from those things that could hurt or challenge you, having someone to look after you. Conversely, you could be the one who’s always there for others, supporting and loving them regardless of who they are or where they’re from.

Keywords: Being protected by higher, more aware, energies. The privileges money and social status bring. Awareness of the different levels of situations. Differing perspectives. Helpers, servants. Care. Being watched over. Watchfulness. Pets and animals. The supervision of youngsters. Purity of vision. Caring for the child within.

The Caution: Social incompatibility. Purity merely by nature of wealth. Not having to grow up because of the social environment. Not taking responsibility for one’s self. Acting like a brat and getting away with it.

Chiron symbolizes: Our wounds and it is known as The Wounded Healer, it also shows The Stories That We Tell Ourselves, it is where we have to focus on healing, it can show things that are out of shape or misplaced or in need of repair.

The Moon’s North Node is on Libra 10: A CANOE IS APPROACHING SAFETY THROUGH DANGEROUS WATERS

This Symbol speaks of getting through difficult times in life and coming out the other side. It also infers being able to bring calm reassurance that a time of calm is approaching. The difficulties may have been arduous, but they’ve added to your experience to cope with any difficult times that are yet to come. The calm is a time to review what has past and how you’ve come through difficult straits. Realizing that you’re on safe ground brings a sense of relief, and it will give you time to catch your breath. You may be the kind to go white water rafting in order to stir up your life somewhat; if there’s nothing whipping up around you, you may go looking for it.

Keywords: The calm after the storm. Navigating difficult straits and coming out okay. White water rafting. Skydiving and other risky activities. Rough waters vs. plain sailing. Recovery. Remission. Light at the end of the tunnel. Personal initiations. Trials of test and defeat. Being stoic. Retaining dignity and graciousness. Exercising care and restraint. Avoiding over exaggerated enthusiasm. Deliverance on many levels. Salvation. Staying on track.

The Caution: Neglecting to take a time to rest. Taking foolhardy risks, believing that all will be okay. Pre-empting situations without completing things in the present. Thinking that “lightning never strikes in the same place twice”. Shooting more rapids. Freezing up and not moving.

The Moon’s North Node symbolizes: This is known as quite a ‘karmic point’ (although all planets and points in a chart can be’karmic’). One’s destiny in this life. The things you are meant to integrate, move towards, become. Destined relationships and relationship issues can show up here.

The Moon’s South Node is on Aries 10: A TEACHER GIVES NEW SYMBOLIC FORMS TO TRADITIONAL IMAGES

This Symbol shows someone who can take a thing or a situation and transform and update it. The ‘Traditional Images’ can be ideas, objects, icons, beliefs; things we are familiar with. That a ‘Teacher Gives New Symbolic Forms’ shows the ability to restructure, reinterpret and present them more in tune with the times. It indicates a need for a fresh and revitalized perspective on things. This is what Marc Edmund Jones and Elsie Wheeler did with the Sabian Symbol “experiment”.

This Symbol implies that you have ideas or a message to spread, but you may be holding back because you think it has been done before – however, things done by you will have your personal stamp on them and they are best done your own way. Bring out something fresh and new and it will also revitalize those around you. Looking at things in a different light, you’ll revision old thought forms with new ones. Try to find new solutions to old ideas – you could revolutionize something. Be prepared to take a different stance or look at things from a new and fresh perspective. Don’t stick to limitations, either your own or those others place on you.

Keywords: New dimensions breaking old thought forms or behavior. Quantum science. Innovation and re-creation. Working with educational tools. Finding new inspiration. Being “ahead of one’s time”. New-age consciousness. Ideas out of the past for the future. Sticking one’s neck out. Rewriting the book.

The Caution: Rejecting old ideas because they are old instead of reforming them. Throwing things of worth out, without examining them. Having little respect for things that are really worthwhile or traditional. Sticking with the tried and true, no matter what. Thinking that no one will be interested in your ideas. Heresy. Dogma.

The Moon’s South Node symbolizes: Past karmic patterns to be overcome, can be habits that are good, but can describe things, relationships, issues that you need to let go of, or, hold you back from manifesting your true destiny. Relationships that feel karmic and difficult, memories from the past.

Message for May 2015

May looks set to be a month of breakthrough as we begin to find a way through the darkness in order to break free into the brilliant sunlight once again. Just as a bulb naturally bursts through the soil and thrives in the light, we are now beginning to see the blossoms within bearing fruit after a long period of inner cultivation. Many of us have undergone a fairly radical inner spring clean where we have let go of beliefs, thoughts and ideas that have crumbled and turned to dust as a natural part of our own evolution. Although we may still feel a fondness and a connection to the paths we once walked and the beliefs that once served us well, it seems important not to dwell on this for too long as we are now in a time to rest quietly in the space they have left behind.

It may feel natural to want to fill the spaces with new beliefs and ideas as that’s what humans tend to do, however, by turning to face the spaces and stepping more consciously into them, we are beginning to realise that it is the spaces that truly matter as they are not vacuous and empty, but they are full of presence and majesty. Whilst there are no words that can accurately describe the essence of these spaces, it seems important to gently embrace them and become one with them as it feels right. It’s hard to justify this when there are no words to explain the process but being in a space beyond conscious awareness is rarely easy to explain!

We have reached a form of energetic crescendo that feels both inspirational and magical at the same time. Although we can sense it, we cannot as yet, touch it, taste it or truly make sense of it. Yet, it’s coming all the same, and it feels right. Feeling is therefore at the centre of things throughout May as we let go of the clutter and distractions all around us, focus on what’s important and learn the art of truly listening once again.

We so often go through life without really noticing the life we are in: we become anaesthetised or desensitised to the beauty all around us as we get lost in the process of keeping on keeping on; it’s easy to forget to lift up our heads to actually notice life when we are too busy trying to get from a to b. Yet, the more consciously we choose to let go and step into those unknowable spaces, the more centred and in-balance we are likely to feel. There is no ‘do’ here, just a willingness to pause, notice and let go; the more we breathe into the here and now, the more we find a truer and richer sense of living and being.

So, as more of those beliefs and thoughts fall away, savour the space and feel the freedom rising up from deep within. May is a month to yield to the true power of connection and to breathe…

With love,

Sarah-Jane

Aries

As you continue to look beyond the boundaries of your life, May looks set to be a month for reflection and review as you contemplate your true priorities and work out what truly makes your heart sing. Although you are a creative and visionary soul, there is a sense that, by the time you have taken on board all of those responsibilities and duties that you are so good at carrying, there is not much time left for you to go within and discover what makes your heart sing. Whilst making your heart sing may seem a little whimsical, you intuitively know that the true marker for measuring happiness in your life is based on how you feel, not on what you do or achieve.

Of course, being you, what you do and achieve does matter, but unless your heart is vibrant and joyful, everything else feels rather hollow. Some may look at this as something of an impossible conundrum as being happy and trying to keep on keeping on can feel at tangents to one another; therefore, how can you be happy and follow your own path if you continue to do all of those things that you do, trying to keep everyone happy all of the time? Yet, you know that this is not an impossible conundrum and your belief enables you to look beyond the perceived challenges towards a more courageous belief that everything is exactly as it should be. Believe in yourself and let your heart sing vibrantly and passionately…

Taurus

May looks set to be a month of inventiveness and inspiration as you begin to contemplate new avenues and pathways to explore in life; there is a sense that you have been hovering on the periphery of something new for quite some time, and the winds of change are finally gathering momentum as you feel the tingles of shift within every one of the millions of cells of your being. Although your path ahead is not, as yet, crystal clear, you cannot help but feel excited at these changing tides all the same as you have struggled to find peace with your ‘what is’; you have intuitively felt the gap between where you are and where you sense you need to be.

In a way, part of this process is in letting go of the expectations of being anywhere other than where you are now: in other words, being conscious in the present moment. At the same time though, you cannot help but look beyond your current situation as you are deeply aware of the ever-shifting nature of life, so you can feel a little torn between resting in the moment and peeking above the parapet as both intuitively feel right! May looks set to be a time for you to re-evaluate your tendency to give yourself a hard time and to expect nothing short of perfection at all times. Whilst both help you to succeed in life, there are times when more self-compassion, gentleness and tenderness would go a long way. It’s time to enjoy the ride…

Gemini

As you continue to find new ways to thrive and flourish in the ebb and flow of life, there is a sense that you are beginning to let go of perceptions and beliefs that have shaped and defined your life for many, many years. It is hard to clearly define these perceptions as either ‘good’ or ‘bad’ as it seems your whole outlook is undergoing a powerful shift suggesting that your concept of what’s ‘good’ and what’s ‘bad’ is also shifting exponentially. It’s as though you are re-building a new foundation in life and these foundations are stronger and more robust than ever before, however, when it comes to defining them, it seems clear that they are more nebulous and translucent than you could possibly have imagined!

Stripping away layers is bringing you added value as it leaves you with less weight to carry and instead of replacing what you let go of with something new, you seem happy to be relatively weight-less for a while. Sometimes leaving yourself with time to rest in the spaces instead of grappling around trying to fill them back up again allows you to re-centre and re-focus, as well as allowing you to feel a truer sense of kinship with the ebb and flow of life. You seem ready to lift up the anchor and set sail towards a new dawn in your life, one that feels inspirational and revolutionary in each and every way. Although the details are not overly clear as yet, you seem happy to trust the process and enjoy the moment…

Cancer

As you continue to focus on inner cohesion, there is a sense that you are beginning to feel a stronger sense of self emerging as you let go of the belief that you still have to get from where you are to where you think you need to be before you achieve that all-important sense of balance in your life. Of course, you will always have dreams and aspirations, but this isn’t about these, this is about feeling as though you are somehow not good enough or that your life isn’t quite right until you get to that eagerly anticipated horizon. Although you intuitively know that horizons, by their very nature, remain out of reach, you cannot help but give yourself a hard time for not doing more, being more or achieving more. Yet why? Why do you feel as though you are not already enough?

May looks set to be a month to inspire you to shift your perspective back into the present moment allowing you to see yourself and your life with more clarity than ever before. Although gazing deeply into the mirror of the soul can be challenging, there is a sense that you are ready now to see beyond your perceptions and preconceived beliefs in order to realise that you are not only enough exactly as you are, you are more than enough. Some self-compassion, self-belief and self-love are called for now; this isn’t some twee flight of fancy but a calling for you to be ‘the you’ you truly know yourself to be…

Leo

May looks set to be a month for re-igniting the spark of passion within as you contemplate the path you have walked, the path you are walking and the path you hope to walk. In some ways, looking back is easier, after all, the path has already been walked so there is little room for ambiguity, but is there? If we asked two people to recount the same event, there is no doubt they would recall it in slightly different ways. Anyway, this is beside the point, as you spend some time thinking about your life, your path and your sense of self it seems likely that you will re-connect to the fiery passion within inspiring you to look at things in new ways.

Even the path already walked looks sets to change in both shape and appearance as you gaze through fresh eyes and see the plethora of things you have learned, the things you have discovered and the deepening wisdom that has blossomed over time. It can be easy to dismiss or disregard so-called ‘bad choices’ but you are coming to realise that there really is no such thing as every choice and every moment has led you to where you are today and the sum of the parts is considerably greater than the whole. Letting go of perceptions is important now as you embrace that vibrant spark within and spend less time thinking about the path and more time walking it and enjoying the spectacular scenery…

Virgo

May looks set to be a month of expanding more consciously into yourself and into your life. This may sound rather odd, after all, you are already in your life, and, you are already you, but, as you spend so much of your time trying to be ‘super you’ and trying to be the person everyone wants you to be or the person you think you ought to be, it seems that although you are you, this is squeezed into a tiny corner of your world as you really don’t have the time or the space to truly expand into your true essence. In fact, the idea of it actually irks you a little as it feels more like an inconvenience to rock the boat rather than something to treasure and celebrate!

It seems the reason for this is connected to the concept of ‘over giving’ which was mentioned last month: you give and give of yourself until there’s nothing left for you. Of course, this is an admirable trait, but there has to come a time when this cycle needs to change in both shape and form. It would be easy to suggest breaking the cycle completely to set yourself free however you are unlikely to ever want to stop giving and being ‘super you’. However, it is important to realise that every choice has a consequence, even if that choice is in changing nothing. You have an opportunity now to take a big deep breath of life in order to allow your true essence to rise up and thrive. What happens next is up to you…

Libra

As you continue to embrace the whirling ebb and flow of the maelstrom of your inner world, there is a sense that you are reaching a stage of acceptance when it comes to realising that your inner whirl is not the hindrance you once perceived it to be. In fact, your whirring mind and tendency to over-think is actually quite a blessing as they keep you vibrant, connected and awakened. Of course, there are moments when you want nothing more than peace and quiet, however, trying to push the busy-ness away rarely works, and despite your best efforts to quash the whirling into submission, it hasn’t worked.

You now seem ready to stop trying to re-shape your inner world and instead learn to truly love it, exactly as it is. In order words, rather than trying to achieve the long yearned for state of inner peace by quietening your mind, you have realised that inner peace can come to you through yielding to the power of your inner whirl and opening yourself up to go with the flow rather than trying to fix or eradicate it. This may initially feel a little counter-intuitive but fighting your true nature rarely leads to contentment. It seems that by willingly yielding to your feisty and turbulent mind, you can learn to love it, ride with it and find new ways to thrive with it. Of course, your mind isn’t really an ‘it’; it’s a part of you! So, May looks set to be a month of inner-unity as you dance as one with your inner whirl…

Scorpio

May looks set to continue your ‘inspiration crescendo’ (mentioned last month) as you start to feel the tingles of anticipation as you contemplate your path ahead. Although you are very much a ‘present moment’ kind of person, living as consciously in the now as possible, it’s hard not to gaze at your path ahead as it seems so full of opportunity and adventure. As a result, it can be a little hard this month to feel fully grounded and in the moment as your focus is torn between here and ‘over there’ but this seems quite healthy as it is helping you to re-focus and re-define your true goals and aspirations in life.

It’s easy to get carried along by the tides of the dreams of those close to you, after all, you are a fluid and free soul, however, it’s important that you don’t lose sight of yourself in the process as a disorientated you is likely to lead to layers of frustration forming within as you struggle to re-connect to your true essence and sense of self. As you feel that surge of inspiration rising up from deep within your soul, take the time to acknowledge it, nurture it and love it. At the same time, give it the space to breathe and thrive, as it needs the freedom to emerge in its own time and in its own way. You are on the verge of a brand new chapter in your life so stay centred, stay aware of your own essence and thrive…

Sagittarius

May looks set to be a month of revitalisation and renewal when it comes to your perspective on life. Over recent weeks and months, many of your beliefs and ideas have been challenged as you have stepped beyond the comfort zone of the four walls of your life towards a more creative and spiritual way of living and being. There is a sense of a breakthrough as you seem somehow lighter: as though you have broken free from a layer of silken thread that has kept you cocooned like a fly in a spider’s web. It seems likely that this cocoon has been of your own making: forged by your self-doubt and tendency to self-flagellate. Expecting perfection is a natural process for you, but you seem to stop short before the finish line as you would rather not take a chance of staring imperfection in the face or risk meeting it. Better to not know. Although you can’t be sure of the outcome, you would rather stop short rather than taking a chance and doing it anyway.

There is a famous phrase ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ which seems quite apt for you at the current time as you are more than ready to unravel that silken thread in order to weave it into something far more beautiful and life affirming. You are the master of your own destiny: you have the thread, the needle and the canvas. What happens next is really up to you…

Capricorn

As you continue to clean out the closets of your life (both inner and outer), there is a sense that May will be a month for feeling a new-found sense of release and freedom. Everyone collects ‘stuff’ as that’s a part of life: shoes, cups, thoughts, ornaments, beliefs. Stuff is everywhere and it can be both physical and energetic (thoughts etc). Yet, is too much stuff a good thing? Is it even possible to have too much? Some may think not, but intuitively you know that too much stuff leads to a feeling of clutter which can stifle your creative flow and prevent you from breathing deeply and wholeheartedly in life. Although having enough is important, you know only too well, that the quest for more is a never-ending one.

As a result, you are wiser these days and have embraced the concept of ‘less is more’. Whilst this doesn’t mean you have thrown away your ambitions and goals, it does mean you have stopped putting yourself under so much pressure to keep on keeping on chasing after things that, at the end of the day, don’t really matter that much. It’s easy to get caught up on the hamster wheel of life, chasing stuff, but, when it comes down to it, most of it doesn’t really matter. May looks set to bring you an opportunity to re-set the balance in your life in order to create some much needed space, free from stuff, in order to breathe, thrive and let go…

Aquarius

May looks set to be a month of balance as you find a new way to step consciously into the ebb and flow of your life; you seem ready to become one with each and every moment in order to let go of the constant push to do more or achieve more. Such a shift is a big one as it takes you away from feelings of lack and towards a more rewarding space of feeling ‘in balance’ with both yourself and your life. Being in balance allows you to ride the waves of life with more grace and although you will never stop thinking, digging and trying to find the answers to the many questions you have about life, it seems that you are beginning to feel a deeper sense of acceptance; a knowing that there will always be questions without answers just as there will always be answers without questions.

However, rather than irritate you, you seem much happier these days to accept the constant oscillation of uncertainty in life. You will always seek out answers and wisdom, but not at the expense of living at the same time; you will instead accept the uncertainty and choose to thrive on this rather than feel frustrated or ‘less than’ because of it. Living your life consciously in this moment, even though this moment may not be the moment you aspire it to be, allows you to find a true sense of balance as it sets you free from linear time and from wanting to be ‘over there’ instead of savouring here…

Pisces

Being you, only you and nothing but you looks set to be your mantra for the month of May as you begin to reclaim your sense of self once again. Although you have never truly lost your sense of self, it seems as though it has become buried underneath layer upon layer of detritus and stuff. You well know that most of this isn’t yours; it comes from trying to do everything for everyone. Yet, if you look a little harder, you will see that the only person shovelling the detritus is the one that looks back at you when you gaze into the mirror! In essence, you feel overwhelmed by being everything to everyone but you cannot stop yourself being everything to everyone and so the cycle continues. You want breathing space and you want to break free from those many layers but you are the one continually shovelling more onto the heap!

Of course, when it comes to responsibilities, you have many, and you are not one to shirk these in any way. However, there is a sense that you take on some of these as a kind of distraction technique to avoid dealing with some of the other issues you would rather not face. Understandable of course, but maybe a new strategy is called for now? Distraction can only work for so long as you will either collapse under the pressure of the heap or you will snap; neither of which sit well with you. So, maybe the time has come to stop shovelling, to take a deep breath and face a brand new day…

Honesty is the Best Policy

May 2015 raises the issue of relationship: with ourselves, each other and our environment both near and far. We simply cannot go it alone, is the basic message of this month, nor can we expect others to do it for us. It is time to take full responsibility for ourselves whilst simultaneously recognising that we do nothing in isolation. Every thought, word and deed impacts and is impacted by everyone and everything around us. We act both as individuals and as a collective, standing alone and forever entwined. Within this central paradox of the human condition is found the mystery of the divine which expresses itself through us, as us and aside from us. Recognising ourselves as both instruments of creation and creators in our own right is necessary now, for we must, in coming months, be clear in our actions, knowing what is needed to further the common good rather than focusing only on what serves our personal gain. The two cannot be separated now, for if personal gain contravenes the common good we will reap only isolation. And if the common good appears as an obstacle to personal gain a realignment of priorities may be required.

The coming month brings a gradual shift in energy from the earthy physicality of April to a more changeable, cerebral energy as first Mercury (1st May), then Mars (12th May), then the Sun (21st May) enter airy Gemini. This contact-driven sign which seeks to communicate and connect, rarely settling anywhere for too long before attention is drawn to the next thing, reminds us to look up and around, to interact with those people, places and possibilities that co-exist all around us. The web of connectivity which binds us to each other and all beings, is as if illuminated now like never before. It needs our awareness and consideration: a wakeful response to the unavoidable truth that we are, indeed, one.

Whilst April saw us learning to live with an unknown future, in May we begin to seek answers and forge some plans. There is movement afoot and progress. The key issue, however, remains the direction and nature of progress made. ‘Don’t jump the gun’ is still good advice despite the gathering of planets in flexible Gemini. It is important to honour process now, not side-step it to more quickly reach our desired destination. We will get to where we’re going when we get there and we may not find out where it is until we do. In the meantime, May offers insight which will help optimise choices to be made in the coming months.

A Full Moon in Scorpio on 4th May demands much but offers more. It reminds us that what we refuse to acknowledge in ourselves does not fade away but instead seeps out here and there. The human psyche may be adept at avoidance when necessary, but we do not simply eradicate something from our energy field purely by wishing it away. Only by facing who and what we are can we change. We cannot complete a puzzle without looking at it, nor can we recreate ourselves without knowing the raw materials available for the task. This Moon shines her light on the darkest places within, reminding us that what we find in the shadows deserves our love and attention as much as anything we wilfully bring into the light. Revelations around the time of this Moon will inform the rest of the month, for what we see now is truth. It may not be palatable but we must acknowledge it nonetheless, refusing to turn away. In it are revealed the components for the next phase of our journey. Not nice and shiny newly polished personality parts that we happily place on display, but the tarnished, blackened artefacts we prefer to overlook or at least set aside for another day. That other day is now. Our future creativity relies upon our willingness to unleash the shadow and allow it expression in the light of awareness. This is how we truly come to know ourselves as whole.

Being whole, complete, integrated is a significant theme this month. It is not that we must be it, but that we must commit to the process of becoming it. This is something altogether different! It takes time and sometimes trouble, a willingness to be honest and open, vulnerable. A commitment to wholeness is a commitment to being unpopular at times, sometimes out of step, often challenged and challenging. It is not an easy ride but it is a liberating one and May places fuel in our spiritual tanks for the journey ahead. We may encounter a number of challenges, even crises, this month. Each, when lived fully with as much awareness as possible, has the capacity to take us ever deeper into the sacred space within, where dwells all the wisdom we could ever need. Each moment of this month is geared to bringing out of us what we already know, what already lives, hidden but vibrant, inside.

We may find ourselves covering familiar ground, encountering patterns we thought were left behind. But there’s no need for alarm. We haven’t slipped back into old ways and out of new possibilities. Instead we can demonstrate our willingness to change by responding to familiar dynamics in wholly new ways. There is something of an experimental air about this process, an opportunity to ‘act as if’ and see what happens. If you encounter old problems, familiar feelings, that same old argument with the same old person or a recurring obstacle you just can’t seem to surmount, resolve to try a different response, adopt a different attitude. If you always did ‘X’ try ‘Y’ for a change. Dare to be different, to stray from the script, ad lib for a while and see what happens. So little is set in stone right now that it would be a waste to stick with tried and tested methods, especially when they have gotten us nowhere fast before! Only by daring to be someone we haven’t yet been can we discover the full range of options available to us. Only in trying out the new can we discover what truly makes our heart sing in resonance and our spirit rise up to cry freedom.

From 10th May to the month end Asteroid Juno is conjunct Jupiter. In myth Juno and Jupiter were husband and wife, so this astrological alignment once again raises the issue of relationship and the spectre of the sacred marriage within and without. Juno speaks of commitment which endures and those areas of life in which a long term perspective is of most value. For some it may not be a love relationship but instead a dedication to work or family. There may be a cause that consumes us or a deep desire whose fulfilment has become the purpose of our life. In our hearts we each know where Juno calls us into long term commitment and why. We may resist at times, preferring a shorter and more expedient route, but she forever reminds us that some of the best results mature over time and develop in layers. They simply cannot be spun out of thin air on a whim and a prayer, for the process is as important as the outcome. In her conjunction with Jupiter, Juno invites reflection on where and why we commit. What do we seek by doing so and whose purpose do we serve? An alignment with Pluto in Capricorn reminds us that the most powerful commitments are those in which we are prepared to offer ourselves up to the process rather than seek the outcome, allowing the fusion of our energy with that of another person, place or cause, to work its magic deep within us.

Likewise, if we harbour misplaced commitments some cutting of ties may be necessary. Time and energy are too precious to waste in places parched of life-giving spirit. We are all called, this month, to cast-aside rose-tinted glasses and take a long, hard look at where we expend our energy and why. Doing so now will give us a head start when Saturn begins to square Neptune later this year and illusions without substance dissolve like melting snow. A New Moon in Taurus on 18th May offers pragmatism together with intuitive knowing about where true soul connections are found. It is these we must nurture in the coming months as we approach the Saturn/Neptune alignment which will take us through 2016. We are currently choosing our teams and finding our tribe. They may not turn out to be who we anticipated but as we’ve already seen, this is a time of doing things differently, not repeating old patterns whilst hoping for new results. The future is still unformed and up for grabs. We are creating it here and now as we speak, think, act and feel. This month we can reflect on who we want beside us in this next creative phase.

Mercury turns retrograde in Gemini on 19th May (until 11th June), supporting just such reflection. Rather than disrupting communication this Mercury enhances it if we truly seek for honest exchange rather than surface platitudes. It shows us where we align with others and where our paths diverge; where we need the lightest touch, moving on without so much as a backward glance, and where we need to connect and engage to establish deeper intimacy. If we find ourselves frustrated by communication breakdown or growing inter-personal distance, it may well be that the distance was always there but is simply more obvious now and can no longer be ignored.

Once the Sun enters Gemini on 21st May we can better access the flexibility needed to rapidly assess the world around us and make the best decisions accordingly. A square between Neptune and Mars from 21st to the month end, incorporating Mercury from 26th, requires careful handling. Honesty is called for, especially the risky kind. Whatever we try to hide or deny at this point will make itself doubly felt in a month’s time when Mercury travels direct across the same zodiac degrees. Far better that we deal with things now, no matter how difficult it may seem. Honesty is most definitely the best policy as May comes to an end, which is especially worth bearing in mind if it is someone else’s honesty we would rather avoid! Thoughts and feelings shared authentically now, even if tough to hear, lay the groundwork for deeper intimacy in due course. If there is much to be aired at this point it is because much has been avoided previously. How we proceed from here, especially in our most significant relationships, rests upon how well we embrace the current challenge to be straight, honest and true in all that we say and all that we do.

Honesty sounds simple but can be incredibly hard at times! We barely notice the petty deceptions and denials of our everyday consciousness, so familiar we become with their presence. But as May comes to a close they will become increasingly evident, as will the consequences of allowing them free reign. It is time to take ourselves in hand, express what we think, how we feel and invite others to do the same. If we can all do this with the courageous compassion fitting of a spiritual warrior who pursues deep truth above all else, we can emerge victorious together, honouring the priceless value of both sharing and receiving truth with an open heart and an expansive mind. Your truth, my truth, personal and ultimate truth. All need to be aired. In doing so we meet ourselves and each other, deepen our connections and foster the trust and intimacy necessary for the road ahead.

Moon & Witch Comments & Graphics

Butterfly Dream Journal

This spell is all about incubating and giving wings to your dreams. Use this journey to tap into power of the butterfly to help you manifest your dreams.

Just before you go to sleep, begin by envisioning in your mind a dream that you would like to have come true. Spend some time imagining all the different aspects of your dream as to how you would like it to be. Let your mind run free as to the idyllic circumstances of your dream. Make it what you want. Try it on for size. If it doesn’t fit, then adapt it until it does work for you. After all, it is your dream. Don’t be afraid to express yourself. You are a caterpillar, soon to transform into a beautiful butterfly.

Imagine spinning a web around your dream as you go to sleep. Like a catepillar, you build a womb where your cream can incubate and grow into something that has wings. Weave the threads of the web around and around until it looks like a cocoon. As you go to sleep, imagine your dream as it grows and takes form, waiting for the night when it will emerge and learn to fly.

Within the dream, imagine your dream breaking free of its cocoon. See its multicolored wings glowing with the light as it spreads its magnificent wings, flying unimpeded into Oneness.

Imagine breaking free of your cocoon. Imagine your dreams growing winds and flying into the heavens. Imagine you are pure light and as such you can go wherever your dreams take you and become whatever your dreams make you. Dare to manifest your dreams and fly like a magnificent butterfly into the divine light! As you drift to sleep, imagine being the butterfly, flying toward your deepest dreams.

Let’s Talk Witch – The Full Moon

Moon & Witch Comments & Graphics

The Full Moon

About 15 days after the after the New Moon, the Full Moon first appears. At this point the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun, so she rises around sunset and sets around dawn.

The Sun shines fully on her face and tides are at their extremes again. Some may sense the pull of the Sun from one direction, and the Moon from the opposite, and their energy will feel a bit scattered.

Hold a party or an event, but be aware that the energy level is likely to be high and anything troublesome is likely to surface. Cook and stock up the freezer. Pay special attention to your creative ventures and your dreams.

This is a good time to try out forms of divinations such as scrying or tarot. Reflect about your goals, feelings and matters that have to do with relationship and family. It is also good for transformations, psychic abilities, strength, love, power and fertility.

The Full Moon is also an excellent time to cleanse, purify and charge your crystals. Lay them out so that the moonlight can hit them; if you can do so safely, leave them outside. If not, find a windowsill that catches the moonlight. Don’t just stop at crystals though, your magical tools will also benefit from soaking up the power of the moonlight.

As the Full Moon just passes, the time arrives to put the finishing touches on what you have been doing and to get ready for the quieter time to come. Enjoy beauty and art, listen to music. If you have argued with someone but do not feel the issues are really vital, make up now.

If you live near the sea the Full Moon is a wonderful time to visit the shoreline and (if safe and legal to do so) build a small fire. Collect small pieces of driftwood to build your fire and, as you lay each piece onto the fire, add a wish. Once the fire is burning nicely, cast offerings into the flames as gifts to the Moon Goddess, such as herbs, flowers and leaves. Sit and watch as the fire burns. If you don’t live near the sea you could turn this into a visualisation for a Full Moon meditation.

Sunday & The Perfect Corresponding Spell

Sunday & The Perfect Corresponding Spell

Finally, it’s Sunday, the official day of rest. Not only do Christians acknowledge this day, but I’m sure many Pagans appreciate this day, as well. Everyone needs rest and lot of people need a good day to worship their creator (whomever or whatever that may be), however they deem fit to do so. With the Sun being the central theme of many ancient rituals, Sunday just seems to fit, in name and theory. Not only is it a good day to worship, it seems good to do more relaxed spells, such as, sleep, dream and rebirth.

Sleep Spells – Nap Lavender Spell

Items you will need for this spell: 1 small sachet or bag 1 pinch of lavender 1 handful of roses 1 pinch of allspice 1 pinch of nutmeg 1 white candle 1 lighter or match

Fill a small sachet or bag with the above ingredients. After the bag is filled, tie off the end and shake all the ingredients around. Then, lay the bag on a table next to the white candle. Light the candle and think about having a nice, peaceful rest. Think about how long you want to sleep and how wonderful it feels just to be able to sleep. Take about five, deep breaths and relax. Pick up the candle and pour some wax over the end of the sachet or bag. After that, blow out the candle and put the sachet or bag under your pillow. At night, before you go to bed, get the sachet or bag from under your pillow and smell it. Breathe in the scents and allow your body to relax. Hold it in your hands for as long as you need to. Before you know it, you will be falling asleep.
