Chat is now closed

and I am off to work on the computers. Oh, I would say a special thank you to all who showed up this morning. I know it is hard to take time out of your busy schedules to chat with us little old witches but we do appreciate it so.

Now off to work I go.

Lady of the Abyss

Chat is open but only for a limited time today

We have four computers down right now. That knocks half of our staff out of computers to use. Due to this fact, the chatroom will only be open for an hour or so. Since we have so many computers down right now, we will be off the internet today and tomorrow. I might be a miracle worker but I can’t get four computers fixed in one day nor am I going to drive myself crazy trying to do so.

So chat will be open for about an hour and then I am going to start to begin to fix these computers. We have to have them up and running by Monday so we can get back to normal. If you would like to chat for a brief period come on over.

If You Were Born Today, September 28

TRUE LOVE

If You Were Born Today, September 28:

You are a kind-hearted and generous person who will bend over backward to help out a friend or loved ones. You are exceptionally people-aware and a true humanitarian, but you do know where to draw the line. Goal-oriented and determined, you have all the ingredients for success. While you project an image of kindness, you are a strong person who is able to act according to your own beliefs and convictions. You are attracted to talented and successful people. Famous people born today: Confucius, Peter Finch, Ed Sullivan, Al Capp, Brigitte Bardot, Mira Sorvino, Naomi Watts.

Your Birthday Year Forecast:

Your birthday falls not long after a Full Moon this year, suggesting a period ahead of communication and teaching. You may be turned to for advice more frequently, and you are very willing to offer your help. This is a strong year for publicity and any other endeavors that involve spreading the word. As well, your ability to be objective–or to see the “big picture”–can be especially pronounced and rewarding this year.

Saturn moves out of a challenging position to your Sun in November, and you’re likely to feel lighter and freer as a result.

This can be a period in which you are bolder, more assertive, and energetic. You are especially interested in setting goals and challenges for yourself this year, as well as taking the necessary action to meet them. You may meet or interact with others who encourage or inspire you in some way to have more confidence in yourself. Independent work is favored and competitive activities may also thrive this year. Your passions and enthusiasm run high, and the trick is to channel this extra energy constructively.

You are imaginative, creative, and communicate warmly and considerately. This is a good time for both teaching and learning, and for expressing feelings. Researching cooking, health, and nutrition can be fruitful now. It’s also a strong time for marketing.

You are especially enterprising and resourceful during this period. Both professional and personal opportunities emerge. Your faith in your ability to produce and win takes you places.

Energy fluctuates this year, however. If you aren’t too rash or impulsive, you might be able to free yourself from restrictive circumstances. You could also have more courage than usual to do things that break the routine, and confrontations engaged in this year could clear the air and help you to move forward.

With Venus and Mars in a square aspect to each other in your Solar Return chart, your affections are strongly stimulated, and you are more acutely aware of your powers of attraction. Romance, love, sexuality, competition, and creative projects occupy your mind more than usual. You can enjoy an increase in personal magnetism but be wary of competitiveness or tension in existing relationships, as this aspect ignites your passions in general, whether they’re feelings of love or anger!

You’re also quite driven to make improvements and effect positive change in the year ahead. This positively impacts many areas of your life beyond the personal, including relationships and work.

You can find yourself in high demand this year, and relationships are in stronger focus. The year ahead is likely to be an especially enterprising one, although at times a bit erratic! In certain areas of your life, you’re inclined to rock the boat so that you can break free from a limiting situation. Be mindful when/if making sweeping changes. In other areas, you’re super-focused and determined to succeed. Some relationships (or a key one) can be competitive or up-and-down, but you’re also making special connections. Studies and mental interests can flourish, even with some delays and related challenges.

2018 is a Number Three year for you. Ruled by Jupiter. This is a year of sociability. It is a friendly time when you find it natural and easy to enjoy life and other people. The focus is on personal freedom, reaching out to others, making new friends, and exploration. You are more enthusiastic and ready for adventure than you are in other years. It’s likely to be a rather lighthearted year when opportunities for “play” time are greater than usual. It’s also a favorable year for expressing your creativity. Advice – reach out and connect but avoid scattering your energies.

2019 will be a Number Four year for you. Ruled by Uranus. This is a year of work and development. It’s “nose to the grindstone” time. It’s a time to pay special attention to practical matters, and it’s not a time to be lazy or especially gregarious. Sometimes, it can be a year that feels hard, monotonous and routine, and/or lonely. Positive new relationships are often not formed in a Four personal year. However, it can be a wonderful year for building, development, and laying a solid foundation for future successes. Advice – get yourself organized, work to build your resources, keep busy.

Your Daily Cosmic Calendar for Friday, Sept. 28th

Be a peace-and-harmony advocate with dear ones in your local community as the moon in Taurus makes its monthly union with Juno (6:22am) while just 6 hours later Juno forms a supportive, 60-degree alliance with healer-in-chief Chiron (12:37pm). In the hours leading up to the monthly moon-Jupiter polarity (3:37pm), focus your gaze on dealing with important financial matters. However, the exact lunar opposition to Jupiter begins a 14 hour void moon twilight zone in Taurus that continues until airy Gemini begins at 6:27am tomorrow. Slow your tempo across the board overnight since a potentially discordance-producing Mars-Saturn parallel is waiting in the wings and about to greet earthlings on Saturday.

[Note to readers: All times are now calculated for Pacific Daylight Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]

Festival of Themis (Greece)
THEMIS

Themes: Justice; Equity; Reason; Morality; Organization; Foresight; Karma; Truth

Symbols: Balanced Items; Scales

About Themis: In Greek tradition, Themis personifies the law in both spirit and deed. She regulates karmic order in the cosmos and presides over matters of moral judgment. Today, Themis strengthens the voice of consciousness and the gift of foresight within us, becoming a sound counselor in difficult decisions and offering balanced perspectives.

To Do Today: Bearing in mind Themis’s legal theme, tend to any pressing legal matters today. If a court matter is pending, check on it. If you need to catch up on past-due parking tickets, do so. Themis will help resolve any matter of law in the most equitable manner possible. Should you actually have to go to court today, carry an image of a scale or any balanced geometric figure in your pocket to invite her assistance.

Themis lives in just actions and orderliness, so just by treating people fairly and organizing your day, you invoke her presence. Throughout the day, take an extra moment to consider the repercussions of your actions, both mundanely and spiritually. Consider this a time to balance your karmic checkbook and make right some wrongs in your life. Also, be honest in your words and thoughts today. This honors and pleases this goddess greatly

Friday: The day of beauty

Frigg was the Norse goddess of beauty, love, household, fertility and motherhood. She was Odin’s wife. She wonderfully balances out the dreadfulness of all the masculine gods sitting around our week table.

Derived from Latin Dies Veneris, Friday is viernes in Spanish, vendredi in French and venerdi in Italian. The day belongs to Venus, the Roman goddess of beauty, love and fertility.

The Magickal Day of Friday

Friday falls at the end of the work week for many of us, and that means we get a chance to relax for a little bit! Mark your Fridays with colors like pink and aqua, and metals such as copper. This is a day ruled by the planet Venus, so it should be no surprise that Venus and Aphrodite – goddesses of love and beauty – are associated with Fridays. This is a day named for the Norse goddess Freyja, so be sure to take a moment to honor her as well.

Gemstones associated with Friday include coral, emerald and rose quartz, and plants like strawberries, apple blossoms and feverfew are also related. This is a good day to do spellwork associated with family life and fertility, sexuality, harmony, friendship, growth. Take advantage of Friday’s correspondences and plant a seed, make something grow, and enjoy your blessings

*Note: There are a lot of disputes as to the origins of the word Friday, because there is still a great deal of discussion as to whether it was named for Freyja or Frigga, and whether they were the same deity or two separate ones. Some scholars believe that while they may have eventually become two distinctly different goddesses, they could have had their origins in a single, common Proto-Germanic deity.

The Witches Guide to Friday

Ruler: Freya, Venus

Colors: Emerald green or pink

Power Hours: Sunrise and the 8th, 16th, and 24th hours following.

Key Words: Love, money, health

It is easy to spot the ruler of this day by its name. In the word Friday, we see the roots of the name of the Norse goddess Freya, a goddess of love and fertility, and the most beautiful and propitious of the goddesses thus the verse “Friday’s child is loving and giving.”

In Spanish this day of the week is called Viernes and is derived from the goddess Venus. Matters of love, human interaction, the fluidity of communication, sewing and the creation of artistic garments, household improvement, shopping, and party planning all fall under the aspects of Friday and its ruling planet, Venus.

Friday’s angels are Ariel/Uriel, Rachiel, and Sachiel. Rachiel also concerns himself with human sexuality and is a presiding spirit of the planet Venus.

On Fridays, the hour of sunrise and every eight hours after that are also ruled by Venus, and that makes these times of the day doubly blessed. These four hours are the strongest four hours for conducting ritual.

Check the local newspaper, astrological calendar, or almanac to determine your local sunrise.

Friday’s Witchery

Love magick is a perennial popular topic. However, there is more to this topic than meets the eye. There are many enchanting layers here for us to explore on this day of the week. What about creating a loving home, or producing a loving and nurturing family? What about keeping your intimate relationships vital and on track? How about promoting happy, healthy, and enduring friendships? See, there is more to be considered than just the “You shall be mine…” type of fictional love spell.

Don’t forget that many of the deities associated with Fridays are also parents. So, yes, while this is the day to work on romance, sex, and love spells, there is additional magick to be considered here, which makes Fridays a more well-rounded and bigger opportunity for witchery than many folks ever truly realize. The truest, strongest magick always comes from the heart.

Moon in Taurus

The Moon is traveling through comfy Taurus today. Eat something you love. Have a second serving.

We are motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace, and comfort. The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulses are to relax, resist change, and “stop to smell the roses”. Life slows down a little, and we get comfortable. We may also be inclined to stubbornness and materialism under this influence.

The Moon in Taurus generally favors the following activities: Substantial and material actions that yield solid results. Financial activities, and those involving personal possessions, applying for a loan, beginning a potentially long-term relationship, music, home decor.

Magickal Applications for Friday

Friday is named after the Norse goddesses of love, Freya and Frigga. There seems to be some debate as to whom the day is actually named after, so I thought I would share a little information so you can decide for yourself.

In Latin, this day is known as Dies Veneris, “Venus’s day.” In Greek, it’s Hermera Aphrodites, which translates to the “day of Aphrodite.” In Old English, this day is called Frige- daeg, or “Freya’s day.” This day has the Germanic title of Frije-dagaz, which, once again, could be Freya’s day or Frigga’s day.

Both Freya and Frigga were Norse goddesses of love and were the Teutonic equivalent of the Greco-Roman Venus/Aphrodite. However, Freya was one of the Vanir—the gods of fertility who supervised the land and sea—and she was the leader of the Valkyries. Frigga, Odin’s wife, was the goddess of the heavens and of married love. She was one of the Aesir—the gods associated with battle, magick and the sky. Freya and Frigga could be looked upon as different aspects of the same goddess. They both were called on to assist in childbirth and then in naming of the new baby. Frigga represented the faithful wife and loving mother, while Freya, who really captured the hearts and imagination of the Norse people, was the passionate mistress and lover.

Fridays classically are days for love, fertility, romance, and beauty magick, as well as working for happiness, harmony in the home, and friendship. So let’s take a look at some of the mythology involved with this loving, voluptuous, passionate, and luxurious day of the week, and see where it leads us.

Friday and the Perfect Corresponding Spell

For many, Friday is the last work day of the week. It’s considered the fifth day of the work week and, also, the “cut loose” day. By Friday night, people are out having a party. That makes Friday the perfect day for lust, banish, fast-grant, and find spells. This day is so powerful (energy wise). That’s why whatever you do on this day will, usually, have a strong effect. If you want things out of your life, the darkness and power, associated with this day, bring the energy you need for that. If you need strong, immediate results, this is your day, as well.

Banish Black Candle Spell

Items you will need:
1 black candle
1 ceramic or glass plate
1 sheet of aluminum foil
1 sheet of paper
1 pen or pencil
1 lighter or match

On a table, lay out a sheet of aluminum foil and place a plate on-top of it. Then write the name of the person or thing you want to banish. Remember not to wish any person harm. Fold the paper in half twice and place it under the plate. Next, put the candle on top of the plate and light it.

Now, say this chant three times:

“Banish __________ away from me.
I do not wish ____________ to remain in my presence.
Of ___________ I want to be freed.
Harm none. Mote it be”

After a few minutes, blow out the candle and throw away the candle, paper and aluminum foil. Your wish should be granted soon.

Celebrating Legends, Folklore & Spirituality 365 Days A Year for September 28 and 29

28 and 29 September

Eve of Michaelmas, Michaelmas

September 28, the eve of Michaelmas, was a time of preparation ration everywhere. In the Scottish Highlands, the Michaelmas lamb without blemish was killed and the Michaelmas cake prepared. pared. The cake was made from all the grains harvested, butter, eggs, and sheep’s milk. It was then marked with a cross and cooked on a stone heated by a fire of sacred wood-oak, rowan, and bramble wood.

The following day, September 29, was the feast of Michaelmas, mas, a celebration for the Archangel, Captain of the Heavenly Hosts, who cast the devil out of Heaven and who is the patron saint of soldiers.

In the south of England, this was Quarter Day and a “settling tling day” when rents and bills were paid, and laborers went to hiring fairs to seek new and/or better employment. Many of these fairs, such as the Goose Fair at Nottingham, were and still are famous for the sale of geese, a favorite food served at Michaelmas supper.

The Archangel Michael: Fiery Prince of Light and Champion of Humanity

The best known of the Archangels, Michael’s name means “Who is as God”-a perfect reflection of divine light.
Michael is the Prince of Light, leading the forces of good to conquer the powers of darkness. It was Michael who rescued cued Daniel from the lion’s den and, according to Christian mores, he antagonizes Satan by meeting with each soul at the moment of death and offering redemption.

Symbolically, Michael represents the golden lion. Transmuted muted and perfected energy, he is the dragon-slayer who wields a magickal sword that defeats evil and, as the angel of death and divine justice, he holds a pair of scales to weigh the merits of humanity.

It has come to my attention…….

that people are having a hard time logging in or even finding the chatroom. I learned tonight an easy way to do it from another chat I attended (hint, hint, Lady B). There was one there that made the comment that they wanted to come to the ritual tomorrow night but they couldn’t find the chatroom. Another person gave them the answer on how to find the chatroom I never thought of.  This individual said you pull up the store first, Magickal Necessities. Once you did this you scrolled down the page to you come to the list of categories. At the very bottom of the categories is the chatroom. Click that link and you are in the chatroom before you know it. I had never thought of that. I just thought of giving you the chatroom addy and it would work.

Now for those of you new to the WOTC Chatroom, you make a comment in the section for comments. Then you hit return or send. Up will pop a box that asks you to set a name or go as anon. When you pick your name or chose anon, hit log on and your message is sent and you are good to go. I personally wish you would pick a name put I will leave that up to you.

So now that we have that problem solved, I hope to see all of you at tomorrow’s Full Moon’s Ritual. TIll then my sweets….

Astronomy Picture of the Day – Rover 1A Hops on Asteroid Ryugu

Astronomy Picture of the Day

Discover the cosmos! Each day a different image or photograph of our fascinating universe is featured, along with a brief explanation written by a professional astronomer.

2018 September 24

Rover 1A Hops on Asteroid Ryugu
Image Credit & Copyright: ISASJAXAHayabusa2 Mission

Explanation: Two small robots have begun hopping around the surface of asteroid Ryugu. The rovers, each the size of a small frying pan, move around the low gravity of kilometer-sized 162173 Ryugu by hopping, staying aloft for about 15 minutes and typically landing again several meters away. On Saturday, Rover 1A returned an early picture of its new home world, on the left, during one of its first hops. On Friday, lander MINERVA-II-1 detached from its mothership Hayabusa2, dropped Rovers 1A and 1B, and then landed on Ryugu. Studying Ryugu could tell humanity not only about Ryugu’s surface and interior, but about what materials were available in the early Solar System for the development of life. Two more hopping rovers are planned for release, and Hayabusa2 itself is scheduled to collect a surface sample from Ryugu and return it to Earth for detailed analysis before 2021.

Your Earth Sky News for September 24: Full Harvest Moon September 24-25

Full Harvest Moon September 24-25

Full moon falls on September 24, 2018 for us in the Americas, and on September 25 for much of the rest of the world (more about exact times below). It’s the first full moon of autumn for the Northern Hemisphere and first full moon of spring for the Southern Hemisphere. It’s the closest full moon to the September equinox. That makes it the Northern Hemisphere’s Harvest Moon!

No matter where you live worldwide, the moon will appear plenty full to you on both September 24 and 25, lighting up the night from dusk until dawn.

The exact time of full moon comes for all of us at same instant worldwide, but our clocks read differently by time zone.

The crest of the moon’s full phase is September 25, 2018, at 2:52 UTC; translate UTC to your time. For the mainland United States, that’s September 24 at 10:52 p.m. EDT, 9:52 p.m. CDT, 8:52 p.m. MDT, 7:52 p.m. PDT, 6:52 p.m. AKDT (Alaska Daylight Time), and 4:52 p.m. HST (Hawaiian Standard Time).

At the vicinity of full moon, the moon stays more or less opposite the sun throughout the night. A full moon (or nearly full moon) rises in the east around sunset, climbs highest up for the night around midnight and sets in the west around sunrise.

In this respect, the full moon displays this same characteristic in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

Yet this closest full moon to the September equinox displays special characteristics for both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere, related to the time of moonrise and the place of moonrise along your eastern horizon.

On the average, the moon rises 50 minutes later each day. For us in the Northern Hemisphere, the lag time between each day’s moonrise is at a minimum for the year. From 40 degrees north (Denver, Colorado, or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), the moon now rises some 30 (instead of 50) minutes later. From Anchorage, Alaska (just north of 60 degrees north latitude), the moon rises only 10 minutes later.

The higher the latitude, the greater the Harvest Moon effect – the effect of no great lag time between sunset and moonrise – in the season of waning daylight.

At southerly latitudes in the Southern Hemisphere, where it’s now spring, the effect is opposite. In spring, the moon rises more than 50 minutes later on evenings following the September full moon.

But we mentioned a second effect, along with the time of moonrise. It’s about the place of moonrise on your eastern horizon.

All full moons rise opposite the sun. That’s what makes a full moon look full. Close to the exact time of this September moonrise, from any part of the world, the moon rises approximately due east. On the next few nights after that – depending on where you are in the world – the place of moonrise varies.

From the Northern Hemisphere, you’ll find the moon rising farther and farther north along your eastern horizon each evening. Don’t know which way is north? No problem. As you stand facing eastward, north is your left. From the Southern Hemisphere, the variation in the place of moonrise along your eastern horizon – as viewed from one night to the next – won’t be nearly as great.

By the way, six lunar months (full moons) from now – on March 21, 2019 – it’ll be the Southern Hemisphere’s turn to enjoy a full Harvest Moon. At that time, from around the world, the southbound moonrises following the March 2019 full moon will provide southerly latitudes with the short lag time between successive moonrises.

Bottom line: From around the word on September 24 and 25, 2018 – enjoy dusk-until-dawn moonlight. It’s the Northern Hemisphere’s full Harvest Moon and the Southern Hemisphere’s first full moon of spring.

Your Solar Return

Navigate the next year of your life with guidance from the Sun

Did you know that around the time of your birthday, a unique, temporary chart can be cast that encapsulates what you’re likely to experience over the next year of your life? You give birth to this chart annually when the Sun reaches the precise degree and minute it occupied at your birth. This can occur on the day of, day before or day after your birthday. Technically, this is the moment when you’re really supposed to make those birthday wishes. So just what is this?

Solar Returns 101

Known as a Solar Revolution or Solar Return, it’s a potent moment in time when you’re infused once more with all of the potential your Sun sign infused you with. Ever notice how saturated you are with vitality around your birthday? That’s the direct result of the Sun in the sky connecting to your natal Sun. This is your moment each year to begin the next chapter of your exciting life. What does that chapter contain? Well, interestingly enough, the outline can be found right there in your Solar Return.

Your Solar Return chart is cast for the date and time the Sun reaches your natal Sun placement. However, the location of your chart is not your birth location. Most astrologers prefer to use the location you are physically in during the moment of your return because this is technically where the energy imprint occurs. What is this energy imprint? Well, your birth chart works because at the moment you took your first live breath, the planetary energy patterns into the sky imprint onto your physical body. The same principle applies to the Solar Return chart. What’s the difference? In a natal chart you have this imprint for an entire lifetime, whereas your Solar Return chart is only active for one year. A Solar Return chart is read much like a birth chart, with an emphasis on the house placements of planets and their aspects. Of most important consideration in a Solar Return chart of course, is the placement of the Sun that year and any aspects it makes to the rest of the horoscope.

The Sun’s placement in different houses

A year where the Sun is placed in the 1st House of Identity, for example, suggests a time of focus on self-development. On the other hand, a year that you find the Sun placed in your 7th House of Partnerships will be a year you focus on others — particularly a close business or personal alliance. If other factors agree, a year where the Sun is in the seventh house might point to a marriage year. Is your Solar Return Sun in your 10th House of Career for the year? Expect significant themes surrounding professional advancement or shifts in your vocation. Wherever the Sun is placed in your horoscope is where you’re meant to shine your light for your entire life. Wherever the Sun is placed in your Solar Return chart will be where you shine your light specifically for that year.

Of course this is a general, bare bones analysis that does not include the aspects the Sun makes or other important considerations, but hopefully you get the idea. Remember: the Sun is the primary consideration in this Return chart.

The importance of comparing charts

Another major consideration in synthesizing a Solar Return is to then go and compare it with your natal chart. What sign, for example, is rising in your Solar Return chart? Where is that sign located in your birth chart? This means something vital since the Ascendant is an area of energy manifestation. Any angle is where the “stuff of life” happens. Do you have any natal planets conjunct a Solar Return angle? Again, this is important! All of these nuances add subtle but vital elements to a thorough assessment of your Solar Return.

As you can see, the Solar Return chart is an incredibly useful tool to add to your astrological toolbox. Think back on the years you had life changing moments such as a marriage, career milestone, move, divorce, or major life change. Check over those Solar Return charts and you will be amazed. Then, look into the future as you create your upcoming Solar Return chart. Anticipate what is yet to come.

Wishing you many happy returns!

Your Planet Tracker for Sept. 24: Mercury in Libra, Now Until October 9

Mercury in Libra: Friendly, Diplomatic, Easygoing

Now – October 9, 2018

Mercury, the communication planet, gets nice and comfortable in the sociable Air sign of Libra. The Air element is very much about the mind and communication, so Libra meshes quite nicely with Mercury. Libra loves to build bridges and find ways to overcome our differences. It knows that there is more than one side to any situation, and wants to harmonize opposing points of view.

Mercury’s entry into this peacemaking sign signals a time when speech becomes a little bit softer to create more harmony in our relationships. We’ll all be a little more apt to bring down the noise level, allowing both sides of an argument to be heard. Because of this, Mercury in Libra is the perfect time to heal wounds caused by arguments or misunderstandings.

When Mercury is in Libra

When the planet of speech and the sign of one-on-one relationships get together, our communication with others comes into focus. This isn’t just love relationships we’re talking about — it’s also about our family, friends, and coworkers, too. If we’ve had any fights, or if we’ve been holding on to a long-term grudge, this is a good time to finally put them to rest.

Diplomacy takes center stage when Mercury is in Libra! Libra is represented by the Scales of justice in Astrology, so it makes sense that we’ll be more objective during this time, attempting to approach every situation in a fair-minded and balanced way. Think of this transit as a gentle reminder from the universe on the importance of considering others’ perspectives and embracing the beauty of compromise.

One challenge of this transit is the tendency to be a little too nice. Don’t sugar-coat things or withhold information just to avoid rocking the boat, as kindness could end up being a barrier to real communication. We need to realize there are many ways to connect with someone, and agreement is only one of them. Expressing opposing beliefs with respect and openness is a terrific way to strengthen any partnership.

Mercury Retrograde in Libra

It might feel like your love life has gone haywire when the planet that rules communication, perception, and thought retrogrades through relationship-oriented Libra. Mercury Retrograde in this sign can feel a bit like a not-so-welcome blast from the past because this energy likes to stir up drama, causing old relationship issues to reappear. If we’ve had any resentments in the love department, this is the time when they could come spilling out.

This is an especially tough since it might feel like we aren’t even speaking the same language as the people we’re normally in sync with. Miscommunication can easily happen, and our patience may wear thin. It’s best to take a deep breath and try to decipher what others are really trying to say during this Mercury Retrograde.

If you were born with Mercury in Libra

You’re a breath of fresh air — literally! With Mercury in an Air sign, you are quite the social butterfly, making friends no matter where you go. People tend to find you very charming, probably because you seem to have a knack for knowing all the right things to say. You like to keep things easy breezy, and your relaxed, go-with-the-flow approach is just another reason you’re so well-liked.

“Can’t we all just get along?” That should be your motto! You often play the peacemaker, avoiding (and preventing) confrontation if you can. It’s your ability to keep an open mind that helps you consider everyone’s input, and ultimately, find the middle ground. This, coupled with your cooperative and tactful nature, is especially helpful in situations that require collaboration or negotiation.

Do you find that decisions — no matter how big or small — are nearly impossible to make? You can thank your Mercury in Libra for that! Not one to be reckless or impulsive, you like to weigh all your options before making a move. Spending time considering the pros and cons can come across as indecisiveness to others, but you simply want to ensure the best outcome possible.

Art, design, music, literature — these are just a few of your favorite things! You enjoy dabbling in a wide variety of creative and cultural activities, and may even pursue a career in one of these areas.
