Giving Thanks to the Goddess

Giving Thanks to the Goddess

When I ponder what you have done for me, in me, and what you are doing and will; I could thank you continuously and eternally but the words would fall so insignificantly off the edge of space – for they do not even begin to
describe the bliss you bring with even your slightest of blessings – truly the slightest thought of you.

“I Love You” is the reflex that pours forth from my lips whenever you draw my attention – truly when I give you my thanks, for my love for you envelops
my gratitude – but even in this the language is less than a shadow, as
insignificant as three grains of sand to the bottom of the ocean compared to
the depth, fullness, and power of my absolute devotion, dedication,
affection, and awe for you; and I am ever grateful that you, my magnificent
All, have shown me how to express it to you in ways that language cannot.

For I am consumed with you, M’Lady. My every thought of you brings me great joy, more than most can fathom; and your bliss grows sweeter every day. I am ecstatic as I sit in your presence, bask in your beauty, your glory and love – ever dazzled by the mere thought that one could find himself in the
presence of such a splendid Goddess as you, that you could even exist in
such splendor, and that you would be my Goddess and shower such favor upon me.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude for it all. Every moment, every smile,
every blessing, every lesson, every meet, and your every touch is the very
essence of love to me. You are my heart and soul. May my life, now and
forevermore, be a delight to you.

TO KNOW – TO WILL – TO DARE – TO KEEP SILENT

TO KNOW – TO WILL – TO DARE – TO KEEP SILENT

To Know, To Will, To Dare and To Keep Silent, make up the four principles to
what is known as The Witches’ Pyramid. These principals are very important to
successful spell working. But what do they actually mean?

1. To Know
Know your correspondences. Research what kind of spell you are going to
perform. What the spell requires. Why you need a certain candle color or oil,
or why you are using a particular herb. Different Traditions do have
different correspondences for color, plants, oils etc. Learn the moon phases
and timings. The more you learn the more focused your energy will become,
adding to the power of your spell work.

2. To Will
This relates to you. You must have confidence in your spell for it to work.
You must believe that magick does work. You need to be focused on what you
are doing totally. Your spell needs your energy to work. If you do not
provide your spell with the right energy, then your spell may not work, even
backfire. Just having the props, without the will, will give you
unpredictable results.

3. To Dare
Make a list, before doing the spell, on exactly WHY you are doing the spell.
Are there mundane ways of reaching your goal. Will the spell actually
accomplish what you want. If you have mixed emotions or purpose, than this
can compromise your spell working. Know exactly why you are doing the spell.
Be very clear in your own mind why you believe a spell will achieve the
result you require.

4. To Keep Silent
Once you have performed your spell, you should not mention it or dwell on
whether your spell has met it’s objective. Let the spell, do its work. Don’t
waste energy worrying if a spell is going to work or not. That energy can be
better used elsewhere. Don’t talk to another about your spell either. This
may weaken the strength of the spell if the other person questions or
undermines your ability or whether the spell will work.

These principals may differ from tradition to tradition, but basically what
it boils down to, is having the confidence in the power within you. Believing
in your magick. Follow the basic principals and your spell work will succeed
every time.

Living Life As The Witch – Fixing The Mother Of All Screw Ups

Witchy Comments=

Fixing The Mother Of All Screw Ups

No Matter how well we research our facts nor how careful we try to be, we’re eventually going to screw up. It’s just a part of the human condition. And there’s no place our screw-ups shine more brightly than in the hexes and curses arena.

That’s because standing up for ourselves doesn’t always come easily. Most of us really do take an awful lot of crap before finally deciding to do something about it. And even then, we don’t get in a hurry. We go about our business, gathering the facts and exploring our options. We peruse the details with the same sort of attention we might exhaust on a multi-million dollar business venture. And then, when we’re sure that everything’s in order, we start the magickal process, feeling absolutely safe in the fact that we’re completely justified in our actions and that our target (damn his rotten bananas!) deserves every shred we’re doling out, and then some. If we weren’t and he didn’t, things would never have gotten to this point. So, we do our thing and go on along our merry ways, never giving it a second thought.

But then one day, it happens. An ugly head breaks through the muck, stares us right in the face, and blinks. And we—those same folks who felt completely justified in damning that target’s rotten bananas—can barely catch our collective breath as we gasp in horror. For there, right in the eyes of the beast, we see our mistake:  The target was undeniably innocent. He was never even involved in the fiasco that damned near ruined our lives. Instead, he was just another innocent bystander; just some good old Joe who was in the wrong place at the right time. A good, old Joe who we forced to pay for someone else’s infractions with a close encounter of the very worst kind. And there we sit, shivering and shaking and wracking our brains, in a desperate search of some way to fix things, wondering how in the hell we could’ve been so wrong.

To start with, today’s world is an interesting place. With its high-flung technology and far-flung virtual realities, some might even say that it’s nothing short of amazing. But living in such a world also has complications, the most problematical being that because things are seldom as they appear, it become increasingly difficult to separate fact from fiction. Now take that problem and factor in a fact-finding mission, a little logic, and a few rounds of he-said-she-said and add them all together. I can nearly guarantee that the sum of those components isn’t going to be at all within the scope of reason. Reasonable or not though, it appears to be truth. And because it appears as such, we on it as such–only to discover later that  it was the most wretched mistake we ever made.

While that takes care of how easy it is to screw up—and hopefully, has illustrated just how important it is to factor in gut instinct as well as the facts—we still have a problem on our hands: How in the hell do we fix the mess we made? More to the point, though, it is even possible?

Fortunately, it is. Please understand though, that it won’t be easy, regardless of how simple the instructions appear. There’s absolutely no way to convey the degree of difficulty involved in rectifying something line this. So, just be prepared to work long and hard, and as some effects can never be truly erased, be willing to repeat some steps you’ve already taken over and over to ease the problem is the need arises.

Daily Motivator for October 6 – You are successful

You are successful

You are successful at being you. Even if no one else acknowledges that  success, it is real and it is yours.

You can expand upon your success. You can improve upon that success.

You have endured every challenge that has come your way. Now you are in a  position to move forward in whatever direction you choose.

You are a survivor, and yet life is about so much more than mere survival.  You are a dreamer, and now is the time to live your dreams.

Give yourself credit for the success you’ve already created and for the value  you continue to create. Then give yourself a meaningful goal that is worthy of  the successful person you are.

See your success, feel your success, and make the commitment to build on it  right now. You are successful, and this is the moment to live and enrich your  success.

October 4 – Daily Feast

October 4 – Daily Feast

We cry because we feel unhappy and unloved. We cry because we care. We cry because we hurt, but more than that, we cry because we are unwise. These are the tears that make more tears. Enough di ga as wo s di! Enough tears! Most of the time we try to have as few tears as possible, but they are as much a part of us as laughter. They can do a cleaning job that nothing else can touch. But like everything else, it can be overdone. Emotional people are usually caring. And it either makes life worthwhile or keeps it in such upheaval that nothing can be positive. There is a time to laugh and a time to cry. We have to remember that enough is enough and try to balance our approach to living.

~ I heard….that I should be like a man without a country. I shed tears. ~

“One to find him/her/it.”

Tie a knot in the other end, saying:

Feng Shui Tip for October 3 – ‘Balloons Around the World Day’

I’m not just being a blowhard on today’s ‘Balloons Around the World Day.’ But I want to share a ‘secret’ Feng Shui love cure that uses balloons to make dreams come true. If you’re looking for love or to further an ongoing commitment, then fill a yellow balloon with helium on any night of the full moon. Tie the balloon with nine or 18 inches of red thread, and with a red marker write your love-related wish on the outside of the balloon. One wish and on one side of the balloon only. With the same red marker sign your name and write the date on the opposite side. At sunset release that balloon to the sky and to the ‘God of Marriage Who Lives in the Moon.’ The legend states that this god will then hear your plea and send you solutions to your prayers within a year. Whether or not this balloon travels around the world, it will really rock yours, especially if that rock is worn on the third finger of the left hand!
