It’s ‘National Nurses Week’ and today is ‘School Nurses Day.’ I’ve often written about how much I appreciate both teachers and nurses who give so much and who are often not as compensated as they should be. I also harbor great gratitude to the many nurses who have taken care of my loved ones throughout the years. If you know a nurse, particularly a school nurse, who could use some show of appreciation today, then take the time to offer a sincere ‘thank you.’ I am doing that from my heart right now.
