Pagan Serenity Prayer
This ritual can be used to get back in touch with the elements. Have a representation of each element around you.
Go outside if possible, face North and say:
“Good morning Spirits of the North. I am successful The cornucopia showers blessings into my life.”Stand for a moment and let the energy of the Earth pour into your body and soul.
Turn to the East and say:
“Good morning Spirits of the East I am creative I am the spirit of the wind My mind soars to other realms and back again.”Turn to the South and say:
“Good morning Spirits of the South I am passionate I am the glow of the flame and lava I magnetize and inflame the senses as I heal.”Turn to the West and say:

Good Blessed Tuesday Morning to all my dear friends & family! I hope everyone is having a good day so far. I still have a somber heart and probably will for sometime. I would imagine there are others amongst us that will also. I know Yule is almost upon us. I know this is a time of year we are suppose to be celebrating. But I was thinking this morning, with so much sadness here recently is it right to celebrate. I must have gotten Goddess smacked, all of a sudden it hit me. Yule is the time we celebrate the rebirth of the Sun. It is our promise that we will soon be out of the Dark and the Light will be returned to us. As the Sun God is reborn this is also our promise of reincarnation. It is our symbol from the Goddess that we too, shall be reborn. Death and darkness might consume us for a little but we always have the promise of rebirth. We have something to look forward too. This gracious gift that has been given to us, not only the great Sun King. but the promise of rebirth or reincarnation is something to celebrate.
The Wheel turns for each of us. We all go through many different experiences in our lives. We never know what tomorrow may bring as we have recently been shown. Let us grieve those who have passed but let us also celebrate the precious moments we have on this plane.
Yule is almost upon us. Let us not be heavy hearted for those that have gone before us do not wish that. Let us now rejoice in the promise of the return of our Sun and also our promise of rebirth.

*I am sorry this took so long but we had a special request for a ritual like this. I had to dig through Lady A’ Grimoires to find such a spell. You know who you are, if this is not sufficient for your immediate need, please let us know. Lady A will definitely be able to help you, I know.*
The following spell may be performed at any time you feel the need for extra protection during a crisis. When you are surrounded by grief and sorrow, feeling powerless and engulfed by these feelings.
First of all, gather together the following:
1 white candle Implement for inscribing a candleNext, cast your circle.. In the center of your circle, facing North, take the obsidian arrowheads (or stones) into your hand. Charge them with protective powers and place them around the candle holder, one in the North, one in the East, one in the South, and one in the West.
Next, take the candle and inscribe a pentagram on it (which is among other
things a symbol for protection), along with your name, or the name of the
person you wish protection for from the grief and sorrow. Now anoint the candle with your oil, while concentrating strongly on your need for protection.
Know that you are divinely protected, a child of the Goddess and God.
See and feel yourself being completely safe and secure, protected for the grief and sorrow that you are presently experiencing.
Continue to charge your candle and visualize until you feel the candle literally bursting with energy. Now set the candle in the candle holder and light it. You may wish to continue the visualization, or use whatever techniques you wish to send the energy out from you. When you are ready, close the circle and allow the candle to burn down completely. It is finished.
So Mote it Be!!!
This ritual may help ease your pain. Take a walk. As you walk, look for an ordinary stone that appeals to you. Place this stone on your altar. As you meditate about your day, hold this stone. Visualize all your pain entering the stone.
When the day comes that you feel your life is returning to normal, you may get rid of your stone. To do this, go out to a favorite spot, perhaps where you found your stone. Thank the stone, leave it. Keep walking and don’t look back.

Believe it or not you can learn to recall most all your Dreams.
With these simple techniques you can start remembering dreams within the first or second night of practice. It’s sort of like self hypnosis in a way. You are simply making suggestions to your mind before you are completely asleep.
This state of mind is called the borderline sleep level. It is when your brain is most likely to absorb the suggestions. They say that certain foods can cause bad dreams. Then again, sometimes when you eat food before bedtime that gives you indigestion, it might seem that it is causing you to have dreams. This is do to the fact that the indigestion is keeping you slightly awake. There is one other thing to consider. If you are having intense dreams and they are in color then more than likely you are having a OBE.
There are 4 easy steps to this.
1. Preparing for Bed: Try to get the body as relaxed as you can.
If you have to stretch or even do Yoga all the better.
You can even meditate to clear your mind, so that you are more prepared for the next step. You don’t have to eat or refrain from eating before bedtime. You may do as you like. Try experimenting with eating different foods before bedtime and see if you get any different results in the end. Make sure you have a pen and pad handy to write with next to the bed.
2. Programming : This is the most important part. When you get to that borderline sleep level (which is right before you are completely asleep) you must tell yourself over and over again that you will remember all your dreams and you will wake up after each dream and write down your experience. If you don’t like having to repeat all that then try tape recording yourself saying these things. Make sure that you tape at least 10 – 15 min. worth. That should be sufficient.
3. Taking Notes: This is also very important. If you successfully wake up after each dream, then you must write down everything you can remember in detail. Write down whether the dream was in color or black and white. This is why we will keep a pen and pad next the bed. Make sure not to put it in the bed with you. You don’t want to end up stabbing yourself in your sleep. Then you must try to go right back to sleep. Keeping the pen and pad handy. Hopefully you will go right into another dream and repeat the process.
4. Reviewing the Night: Now it is time to review the night. You will be amazed at how many dreams you actually had that night! I usually find that I have 10 – 15 dreams a night and sometimes more. Everyone dreams and everyone dreams many times a night, they just don’t know they do until they try something like this. Make special note of dreams that are in full-blown color, for you will want to reference them once you start studying Astral Projection.
To cure insomnia, stuff a pillow with catnip, passion-flower, and hops just before bed time.
Lie down with the back of your head touching the pillow and recite the following chant three times aloud:
“Catnip, Passionflowers, Hopes in this pillow beneath my head,
Bring peaceful rest to me, an stop the restfulness that plagues my bed!”
Close your eyes and think of something pleasant. Soon you will sleep and dream.
Combine together in a bowl:
1 cup mugwort
1/2 cup rose petals
1/2 cup German chamomile
1/2 cup of sweet hops
1/3 cup lavender buds
1/3 cup catnip crushed
1/4 cup peppermint
Mix the ingredients together make cloth bags from a 5×12 inch piece of material fill cloth bags with your mixture sew the top of the bag shut and sweet dreams!
Rosemary
Bay leaves
4 drops spearmint extract
Almond base oil
3 Marigold petals
A few moonstone chips
Crush together equal amounts of rosemary and bay leaves. Add four drops of spearmint extract and blend into an almond base oil. Add three marigold petals and a few moonstone chips. Allow the oil to settle for thirty days in a dark place before use. Anoint pulse points or pillow. This oil promotes dreaming and helps you remember your dreams
Note: This spell is not intended to be used on someone.
It is a general spell to be sent out to the universe, so you can find your mate.
Preparations
Create an oil consisting of 1/8 cup unscented oil (safflower or sunflower), mixed with enough rose geranium and lavender to create a pleasant scent. Blend these in a clear glass jar.
Empower the oil to the cause of finding love. Rub well onto a Pink candle.
Ritual
To empower the oil, focus on the jar, and think of the feelings of love. Contentment,
commitment, joy, etc. Allow this love energy to flow into the oil.
At a quiet moment, when you know you will be around long enough for the candle to
burn fully, say the following prayer, and light the candle.
Oh Lady who loves us,
Oh Lord who loves us well,
Please bring my true love to me,
the one of whom my dreams do tell.
Bright Lady of the Heavens,
Strong Lord of the Earth,
Please aid me in finding this love.
Let this harm none, let none be coerced.
Have a special someone you wish to contact, an old friend that you’ve had a falling out with, communicate with anyone. You will be amazed at how many way you will be able to use this spell.
Light a blue candle. Write a personal, positive, and meaningful letter to someone your desire to contact. Burn the letter in the candle flame (carefully). As it burns, visualize the person’s face and the goal or message you want to send. Toss some thyme, yarrow or cinnamon on the burned letter. Concentrate on what manner you hope to receive their response. Pick up the remains and scatter the ashes and herbs.
To help you make a decision, or to neutralize your trouble, light one white votive candle,
and one gray, deep blue, or magenta candle. Stand before a window, and visualize your
troubles going into a glowing black orb which surfaces from the Earth. Psychically push
the ball back down when you are finished. Don’t forget to push the ball back!
Your energy will go into the Earth as neutral.
As analogy of how the hours of the day influence magick can be drawn to a day in the life of a flower.With the first rays of sunshine, the flower begins to open. The, it fully opens, and stays open until closing again at dusk. The flower quietly sleeps, yet it still continue to grow and develop all through the night, until the dawn comes once again.
Magickal timing by the hour of the day follows the flower pattern. Although some of us are morning people, while others are night owls, you will discover that there are certain times during the day and night that you do your most successful magick. Pay attention to you own natural rhythms, and honor them, choosing the times when you have the most energy for magick making. The following is correspondences for the daily timing of potions and spells.
Dawn
A time of renewal, rebirth, new ideas dawning, new beginnings, and consecration. Over the centuries, people have collected the dew on the grass and plants at dawn to use as a magick love potion.
Morning
This is a good time for setting patterns in play for preparing potions, and casting spells for attaining goals. The day’s light is growing strong and your magick grows accordingly. Mid-morning is a good time to harvest flowers.
Noon
The solar energy is most powerful at high noon, and there is a tremendous amount of energy for magick making. Noon is also a good time to gather flowers for magickal uses.
Afternoon
This is a time of harvesting magickal goals. The heat of the afternoon sun is a good time for harvesting herbs for potions.
Dusk
A powerful junction point between solar and lunar energies, dusk is the time when the portals to all worlds are thrown open and you can freely enter them. This is a very potent time for any magick making because the portals are open and communication with Divine energies is particularly strong.
Dark of Night
The lunar and stellar energies are strongest at night. Throughout history, witches have always cast their spells under the cloak of night. This is also a good time to map out magickal potions and spells.
Midnight
Traditionally called “the witching hour,” midnight is a good time to let go of old habits or negative relationships and banish negativity from your life. This is also the time for updating your life patterns and practicing dream magick.
The Hour Before Dawn
This is the time of the Otherworld of fairies and when many predators hunt. It is a good time to stay indoors.
A spell to protect the most powerful part of your being, your mind…
This spell is used to protect the mind against things such as nightmares, negative thoughts and ‘invasions of evil.’ First you must gather three red leaves from any tree, plant or bush. Lay them in a triangle on a flat surface. In the center of the leaves, place an already lighted candle, and place a few drops of chrysanthemum oil on each leaf.
Repeat the following chant three times:
“Red leaves, gift from Earth,
Birth to death and death to birth,
Keep all evil far away.
Day to night and night to day.”
Then extinguish the candle and wrap the leaves in a white cloth or pouch. Place this near your bed within three feet of your head and it will stop all nightmares and negative thoughts.

This isn’t your typical Saturday in December as Saturn parallels Neptune (1:17PM PST). As a reminder, celestial bodies that are parallel are synchronized either north or south of the Celestial Equator whereas the usual zodiacal aspects are calculated by using the Ecliptic (the Sun’s apparent path in the heavens). Today’s Saturn-Neptune parallel occurs 12 degrees south of the Celestial Equator and is similar to a conjunction in the zodiac. When Saturn merges with Neptune, the material and spiritual planes interlock and enlightening vibrations strive to enter the physical-etheric energy-bodies of human beings striving to evolve on Spaceship Earth.
