PSYCHIC PROTECTION SPELL

It is best to find a work area that you can leave untouched for 3 days.
If you must put away your tools, try to leave the spell candle out in the open.
Prepare your work area by setting up any tools you may be using in addition to your spells candle.
(Black) Love or protection incense is recommended.
While setting up your area, concentrate on the purpose of the work.
Bathe or cleanse your self. Do not let negative thought enter your mind.
Go your work area. Cast the Circle, light incense.
Envision a large, white ball of light surrounding you, your work area, and your home.
Hold the candle between the palms of your hand and direct all positive energy into it.
Place the candle and prior to lighting say,
“This candle represents protection over me in all things.”
Light the candle and say,
“As the light of this flame grows, I feel the light and positive energy around me.
As this candle burns, everything around me is blessed with light and love.
I am blessed with light and love. Negative energy is banished.”
Sit back and watch the candle burn.
Keep visualizing the white ball of light and protection around you..
Evision your higher self blessing you and protecting you from harm.
When the candle has burned 1/3 of the way down say,
“As the flame of the candle is extinguished…
Evil, negativity, and harm towards me is banished!
Any entity, ghost or spirit her by mistake go into the light and pass on to the world of spirit,
be not afraid as many wait for you there who you have loved and who love you.
Extinguish the candle. But don’t blow it out!
Repeat this for 2 more nights. Bury or throw away the left over wax.

 A Lucky Pig Spell for Good Fortune in Every Way

Pigs are symbols of good fortune and prosperity in many cultures. Piggie banks, with a slot for coins, are a symbol of accumulated wealth. Some have an opening in the bottom to retrieve the money when the pig is full; others are made of pottery and designed to be broken. A new piggy bank should be started with a coin from the old one to ensure consuming prosperity.

Items You Will Need:

A piggy bank; a gold-colored candle; a gold-colored coin that you have been given the day before the spell (for example as change in making a purchase).

When To Cast:

On a Wednesday, as it gets light.

The Spell:

  1. Light the candle and place the piggy bank where the light will shine on it.
  2. Pass the coin around the candle flame seven times deosil (clockwise) saying for each pass:  “Increased be luck and prosperity.” 
  3. Put the coin in the piggy bank and silently make a wish for whatever good fortune you need in your life.
  4. Blow out the candle.
  5. Each day re-light the candle, past another golden coin (from any source) seven times round the candle, as you do so chanting the words seven times. Put the coin in the piggy bank, repeating the wish silently or making a different one. Again blow out the candle.
  6. Continue these actions and the chant until the candle is burnt through or the pig is full. Then replace the candle or empty the piggy bank (keeping back one coin to start filling the pig again). Spend the rest of the money on a small treat you can share with your family or friends.

Flashback 2022 – Imbolc

(I know to be a real flashback the post should be from a previous year, but I want to make sure when I look up posts from Llewellyn’s Witches’ Datebook that I do not repeat something I have already posted.)

Imbolg Sachet of Light

Also called Candlemas, Imbolg (or Imbolc) is the sabbat of “gestation,” seeing as the earth is readying for her renewal of spring. Because of this, as well as due to the ancient Celtic associations with the goddess Brigid, Imbolg is widely considered a festival of the divine feminine.

To harness the light of life and renewal that is also awakening in ourselves, gather a number of seeds from a verity of plants. This mixture can contain anything from sunflower seeds to wildflower seeds, or even a variety of plants you intend to plant later in the spring. Place these inside a sachet bag along with a battery powered light, such as an artificial tea light. Bury it within the mixture of seeds.

With all the lights in the room turned off, turn your focus to the glowing to the glowing sachet and envision all the wonderful things you intend to manifest this year. Deeply focus: visualize smile, chant words of power, and make the sachet an illuminating personalize spell. What do you do with the sachet and seeds is totally up to your Witchy intuition!

Flashback 2011 – SPell for Today – Better Business Floorwashes

Floorwashes are a traditional–and discreet–method of casting spells. The herbal infusions are used to radiate magickal power, drawing or repelling your desire as the case may be. Floorwashes are used to scrub front steps to provide spiritual protection and attract free-spending customers. Within a building, the term “floorwash” is somewhat deceptive, in general, this is more of a  “floor final rinse.” It is assumed that the floor is clean prior to applying the spell floorwash: the floorwash isn’t rinsed off, but should be allowed to dry and radiate its fragrance and power. The physical labor involved in applying the floorwash also enhances the casting of the spell your effort transmits your intentions and desires.

Applying Better Business Floorwashes

  • Scrub the walkway and the doorway of your business, beginning at the street and moving toward your front door, just the way customers should

  • Scrub the front steps

  • Cleanse the interior floors beginning at the front door and corners and working toward the center of each room

Floorwashes may be created with any of the following or a combination:

  • Boiled cooled salted water

  • Pure spring water (bottled water)

  • Strained, collected rainwater

  • Plain tap water

Spell for Today -Moonstone Travel

When dealing with a weekly spell guide, Mondays are thought to be the logical day for money, love, time and meditation spells. Since Mondays are thought to be the start of the work week, it gives plenty of time for a Monday spell to gain strength throughout the rest of the week.

Moonstone Travel Spell

This spell will call on Meness, the patron moon god of travelers. We met Meness earlier, in the meditation for Monday. I suggest setting up this spell in the evening. Find a spot that faces east or that is illuminated by moonlight. Or try setting this up under the moon, in the garden, or on the porch or your outside deck. Get some atmosphere going! Try using a scented candle, such as jasmine or gardenia, to coordinate the fragrance with the moon’s energies.

Gather the following items:

• A photo of your destination, your travel itinerary, or your airline tickets

• 4 small tumbled moonstones

• A scented white votive candle and holder

• A lighter or matches

Set up this spell on a safe, flat surface. Light the candle and place it in the holder. Place your paperwork/tickets or itinerary to one side of the candle. Arrange the four stones in a circle around the holder. Place your hands on the travel paperwork, and ground and center. Then repeat the following spell three times:

Meness, patron of travelers, watch over me

Whether I travel in the air, on land, or sea

Like a talisman in my pocket a stone will I tuck

Moonstones do encourage a safe journey and bring good luck. Take one of the stones and keep it in your pocket while you travel. You may close the spell by saying:

For the good of all, with harm to none

By the moon and stars, this spell is done.

Gather up your papers and tuck them away for your trip. Allow the candle to burn out on its own. If you performed this outside, then move your candle and the remaining stones indoors to let the candle safely finish burning. Never leave your candle unattended.

Spell for Today – Banishing ritual

This Banishing Ritual is very intense and powerful like many of my other Rituals such as the Full and Dark Moon Rituals. This ritual should be done as close to the Dark Moon as possible. This ritual is for someone(s) who has done you harm by gossip, lies, deceit, etc. Because you are calling on the Goddess Hecate and Her powers to aid you, please make sure that you are completely innocent of the situation.

This ritual is for someone(s) who has done you harm by gossip, lies, deceit, etc. Because you are calling on the Goddess Hecate and Her powers to aid you, please make sure that you are completely innocent of the situation.

If you do not know who the person is, or are not positively sure, do not mention any names. Leave that to the Dark Goddess, as She knows.

This ritual deals with the use of parchment paper (or regular paper, if you do not have it). Gather all your material that you need for this ceremony. If using a lit charcoal in the cauldron of Hecate, make sure that the charcoal is hot enough to burn your parchment paper. If you are going to light the parchment paper from the Goddess candle to put in the cauldron, then there is no need to worry about any charcoal after you cleanse the temple room. You will need piece of parchment paper, patchouli oil or clove oil to sprinkle on the parchment paper. (If you do not have any of these oils, that is fine. But I would suggest perhaps ordering some of these oils from a Witchcraft supply store for future use. ) You will also need Dragon?s Blood ink or your magickal pen. Before ritual, on a small piece of parchment paper, write down what has been done to you either with Dragon?s Blood ink and a feather or your magickal pen which you have only used for magickal workings. Then put a few dabs of Patchouli or Clove oil on the parchment paper. Fold the parchment paper in half and put a banishing pentagram on top and bottom of the folded paper.

RITUAL

After meditating and getting yourself focused and centered, cast and cleanse your circle in the manner you are accustomed to, or you can use the Circle Casting chant either from the Full or Dark Moon Ritual which I prepared. In casting a Circle and calling in the Watchtowers, I go deosil no matter the time of the Moon. When I take the ritual down, I go widdershins in dismissing the Watchtowers and calling back the Circle. To me, when when “closing” a bottle, you go deosil. So, in casting a circle you are closing and making it air tight; when opening a bottle, you go widdershins. So in opening the circle, you are once again letting anything back in. Also, since this is a Dark Moon ritual, and you are working with the Crone and Her energies, there is no need to call in any God. Moon rituals are sacred and for the Goddess only. You call in the Goddess and God at Sabbats, as the Sabbats are the interaction between the Goddess and her Consort…between Earth and Sun. And the Moon……is for the Goddess only!

Calling in the Dragon Watchtowers. (Dragons are great protectors and are also the ones who pulls Hecate?s Chariot.)

Move to the East – raise your wand and say

Hail, Great Dragon of the East

Whose yellow eyes see all in the Element of Air

(Light the candle and draw an evoking pentagram into the air)

Move to the South – raise your wand and say

The evil is dead…the attackers taste their just rewards!

The mouths are full of ashes, their thoughts of nightmares

their lives of unfulfillment!

Hecate, Dark One, hear my plea,

Bring justice now, I ask of Thee!

Right the wrongs that have been done,

Avenge me now, oh Mighty One

Light your parchment paper by the Goddess candle and then put it in the Cauldron of Hecate and release you requests to Her and watch it burn. As you are watching it burn, envision the darkness/negativity being lifted from you and returning to the sender. If you know how it is, fine. If you do not, then just see the shadow of the person receiving what they had sent out. After the parchment paper is done burning say:

It is finished! (In saying this, you are now allowing the Dark Goddess Hecate to handle the situation. It is in Her hands now!)

Then say:

Oh Great Goddess, wrap me in your dark cloak and

protect me from Dark Moon to Dark Moon.

May your Dragons guard me from Dark Moon to Dark Moon.

If you have prepared for Cakes and Wine/Juice (which is in your chalice), bless them both by saying:

I bless thee of Creature of Wine and Cakes

knowing that as I drink and eat of thee

I partake in the power of the mysteries of You,

Great Goddess Hecate, the three and the one.

Libation: (Take the chalice of wine/juice in both hands and hold it up and say:)

  • 1 Teaspoon Vitamin E Oil

  • 15 – 18 Drops Lavender Essential Oil

DIRECTIONS

  • Add water to the bottom pot of a double boiler.
  • Pour the Calendula oil into the top pot, making sure that the oil has non-direct and even heat to prevent burning.
  • Bring your double boiler to a low heat and add in the beeswax and coconut oil.
  • Once everything has melted, add the lavender essential oil & vitamin E drops.
  • Stir the mixture with a spatula, and then quickly take it off the heat.
  • Put this mixture into a liquid measuring cup to make pouring your final product easier.
  • Slowly pour into each tin, and allow the salves to cool.
  • Touch each tin and repeat these words:
    “In the divine name of the Goddess who breathes life into us all, I consecrate and charge this salve as a magical tool for healing. Blessed be!”
  • Your Magical Healing Salve is now ready for use!
  • Whenever you use it say:

Find a quiet, private area, without distraction. Sit down in a comfortable position. Take a few, slow, deep breaths. Allow your body to become very relaxed. When you have done this, if you brought a bell, ring it seven times. Allow the last ring to resonate throughout your body. If you have something you want to say, to God or The Goddess, now would be a good time to do this. When you are finished, say this prayer or chant:

“I know there is a higher
being than me.
I am not alone.
You are with me,
Day and night.
You’ve rode the lows
And watched the heights.
If angels are real,
I’m sure to have a guardian.
I am so thankful
And so grateful for your hand.
You’ve blessed me.

Reap Spells – Bring in the Sheep Spell

Items you will need:

3 cotton balls
1 green sheet of paper or cloth
1 brown candle
1 lighter or match

(Spell)

Light a brown candle on a fire-proof surface. Nearby, lay out a sheet of green paper or cloth in front of you. At the far end of the paper or cloth, place three cotton balls. These cotton balls represent sheep.
Say this chant:

“I’m bringing in the sheep
And reaping my rewards.
One step back,
But another two forwards.
They’ve been out in the pastures
All day.
I’ve worked them hard.
Now, it’s time to pay.”

Bring the cotton balls toward you and blow out the candle. Whatever you’ve been working on should bring you good rewards.
