This candle dressing harnesses the power of the Sun and is best used on a yellow or orange candle. This recipe can include spells for success, inspiration, and growth of all kinds. It can also be put on a candle and burned in a place that simply needs a boost of joy.

For anointing, you’ll need

1 drop sunflower oil

1 drop cedar oil

Dry ingredients include

1 teaspoon dried crushed sunflower petals

1 teaspoon hot chili powder

1 teaspoon dried marigold or calendula petals

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl or on a plate. Use an orange or yellow marker to draw a picture of the Sun on a piece of paper. If you like, you can add words of affirmation to the drawing that align with your goals. Place the paper outdoors or in a window where it will be in direct sunlight for an hour or more. Put the bowl of plant mixture in the center of the Sun drawing and let the warm rays empower them with solar energy.

You will need

For Anointing:

1 drop pine oil

1 drop peppermint oil

Than mix together

1 teaspoon dried pine needles

1 teaspoon dried cedar leaves

1 teaspoon dried crushed pinecone pieces

As you mix the dried plants, focus on the resilient toughness of a giant pine tree standing tall and strong despite all that works against it. Imagine yourself possessing the same majestic qualities. Anoint and dress a white, red or green candle.

Light a black candle during this devotional.

Incense for Bast:

Cinnamon, Frankincense, Myrrh, Almond.

Offerings to Bast:

Chrysanthemums, Chocolate, Cotton, Feathers, Figs, Honey, Milk, Sunflowers.

Bast is the Egyptian Goddess, also known as Bastet, whose mission is to protect the home.

She symbolizes the joy of living as it is considered the deity of harmony and happiness. She was typically represented in the form of a domestic cat, or as a woman with the head of a cat, always carrying a sistrum (musical instrument) because she was especially pleased by humans dancing and playing music in her honor.

The cult of Bast was so important that cats were raised in her temples to be her representation, and at the death of these, they were carefully mummified and buried in specific tombs for them.

In her warrior aspect, she was a lioness with green skin and in this aspect she was associated with sunlight. She was a solar goddess until the identification of the Greeks with her lunar goddess Artemis.

Mother of the gods, the One, the Only,

Money Spell to Overcome Financial Blockages

If you’ve tried other spells without any success or you feel something is blocking you from attracting money, you can try this spell. This is especially powerful for any financial blockages you may be experiencing. This spell will free up the money logjam and allow the money to start flowing to you. The sage will cleanse, while the pine imbues the energy of immortality, vitality and never-ending luck. The essential oil of vetiver clears away stubborn blocks to money. Jasmine is an attractor and opens the pathways for money to enter your life.

Basic Supplies

  • Sage smudge stick
  • Gold candle (votive or pillar)
  • Candle holder
  • Matches or lighter

Anointing Oil Supplies

  • 1/8 cup of olive oil, coconut oil or grapeseed oil
  • 2-3 drops Jasmine essential oil
  • 2-3 drops Vetiver essential oil
  • Small bowl to mix oils
  • 1 pair disposable plastic gloves

Blockage Breaking Supplies

  • Gold ink pen
  • Green piece of paper
  • Citrine stone
  • 1/8 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried rose petals
  • Mortar and pestle
  • Fireproof bowl
  • Pine incense stick

Step One: Smudge Room

Clear your room of all negative energies using a sage smudge stick. Extinguish it once you’ve cleared the room.

Step Two: Light Pine Incense

Before you begin the work, light the pine incense and clear your mind of all fears and apprehensions. You can recite a mantra or say a prayer when you light the incense. Create a circle of protection around you.

Step Three: Use Mortar and Pestle

Using the mortar and pestle, crush the dried thyme and rose petals together until they are a powder. Set aside.

Step Four: Write Your Desire in Gold

One the green paper, use the gold ink pen to write down your money desire. It’s best to keep it short and open ended so the universe can give you the best of your desires. Once completed, pour the crushed thyme and rose petals into the center of the paper. Gather the four corner and twist them together, to form a pouch. Set aside.

Step Five: Mix Oils

Using the small bowl, pour the carrier oil (olive, coconut or grapeseed), jasmine and vetiver essential oils together. Gently swirl oils to blend.

Step Six: Dress Candle

The gold candle represents the gold mineral dug out of the Earth and has powerful energies. Don the disposable gloves, dip fingertips into the bowl of mixed oils and anoint the candle starting at the top and pulling the oil down the candle length. Repeat until the entire candle has been dressed with the oil. Set in the candle holder. Remove gloves and dispose of them.

Step Seven: Mantra for Lighting of Candle

While lighting the candle repeat a favorite mantra, slowly and deliberately while thinking of your money goal. You may prefer to repeat a money-oriented mantra. You can use this one:

“Money, Money, I call to thee,
Come now in answer to my summons,
Cross through all blocks and barriers,
Find this path I create just for thee,
Take up your new home with me
and stay forever.”

Step Eight: Burn Paper and Herbs

Visualize stacks of money coming to attention and marching toward you and through your front door. Imagine the money stacking up in your home, more and more bundled bills jumping onto the stacks. Pick up the green paper pouch you made and hold one corner to the candle flame. Let it burn for a while, then safely place it into the fireproof bowl. The pouch should burn up until it self-extinguishes.

Step Nine: Allow Candle and Incense to Burn Out

You want the candle and incense to burn out. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Don’t extinguish the candle. It will sabotage this spell and break it before it has time to cast.

Step Ten: Close Protection Circle

Once the work is complete, close your protection circle. You should experience a shift in your money/financial within the next 28 days. It usually requires a full lunar cycle for spells to manifest, but sometimes they can be much faster.

When Candles Self-Extinguish Too Soon

Some candles self-extinguish before burning up. In such cases, take the remains of the candle and bury it outside your home or office. Some people prefer to bury these in a glass jar at night as per their ritual. You will need to cast your spell a second time.

Resistant Candle Burning

If you have difficulties with your candle not completely burning, you may need to cast a banishment spell first by using a black candle (be sure to dress it, too). The black candle will remove negative obstacles. Once the black candle spellwork is completed, you can proceed with the money spell and your gold candle should now fully burn.

Mirror Spell

One way to use mirrors is to place a picture of the person between 2 mirrors. This holds them in a sort of suspended state.

The Ritual:

Cast your circle, raise your power and surround yourself in a ball of protective energy. Do what you do here. The mirror is just a mirror until you tell it what to do. This means focusing your intention upon it. Be very clear.

Light a black candle and put it in front so it’s between you and the mirror. Now focus. Look into the mirror and hold your gaze.

Tell the mirror to please send back the negative energy that has been sent to you – to the person who sent it.

Once you’ve told it what to do, infuse your power within it so it can do what you asked. Raise your energy and focus. See the dark light shooting into the mirror and bouncing back white.

Hold this as long as you can along with the feeling of lightness. You will feel lighter once the energy is away from you. Send love to that person. They need it.

End your ritual like you do and go take a nice purification bath with some salt.

Protect yourselves at all times.

What happens with a spell like this is the person will become obsessed with you to the point of possibly losing their job, which in turn can make them lose their home, automobile, friends, their family, etc. I have heard of people under love spells dying from not eating or drinking when they are not in the presence of the spellcaster 24/7/365. So, unless you want some who only loves you because of a spell you put on them then go for it. But if you want someone to love you because they feel that emotion towards you then please do not do this spell. Connect with your intention deeply, use all your senses. Breathe your intention onto your candle 3 times and whisper your intention.

Begin to prepare your candle by carving in symbols or create a sigil for love. Hearts, a cupids arrow, or whatever symbols represent love and intimacy for you works.  Carve your intention onto your candle.

With your oil rub a thin layer over top of your talisman and your candle. Move in a clockwise direction from the top to the bottom to attract love in to your life. Anoint your heart and feel it full of happiness from the abundance of love in your life.

Once your anointed and your candle is fully dressed and charged place your candle in a fire safe container in your bathroom somewhere you can see it from your bathtub. Light your candle while repeating your intention for love out loud.

Draw your bath adding the patchouli bath salts into the warm water. Submerge a rose quartz stone for added love and attraction if you have one.

Spend 10-30 minutes in the bath deeply concentrating on the abundance of love you’re about to call into your life. Feel the love and joy in your life, sing to some of your favourite songs, read a book featuring a relationship you admire and want. This is your time, experience the luxury of your bath. Once your finished step out onto your floor full of the attraction for love and abundance you have in your body. Don’t forget to dispose of your candle in an ethical way.

Return to Sender’: Easy Karmic Justice Spell with Lemon

An easy way to get justice is simply to return all harm to its original sender. This is a protection spell that promotes karmic retribution, that is, a light form of revenge that is harmless to you, keeping you safe and protected.

How this Spell Works

The black candle is not for evil purposes, it’s for protection. A “return to sender” or karma spell isn’t really black magic; it’s a protective shield that makes all harm bounce back where it came from.

Lemon is a cleansing agent and it can be used to purify and absorb negative energies. Cutting it open we release some fresh, clear energies around us.

Cloves are aligned with Jupiter and the element Fire. They are traditionally burned or worn for protection against magical or psychic attacks.

Difficulty: Easy

This is not a spell for revenge, but for Karmic retribution: A ritual to return the harm to its sender and have Justice. Use lemon and a candle to cast this Magic spell easily and safely.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 black candle

  • 1 lemon

  • A knife, or your boline

  • 1 incense stick (such as black pepper, ginger, or cinnamon)

  • A handful of cloves

HOW TO CAST THE SPELL

  • Light the incense.
  • Think of all the harmful events that you’ve been experiencing. It doesn’t matter who caused them. Focus on how you feel.
  • Light the candle.
  • Cut the lemon in half.
  • Take 3 cloves, and press them inside one half of the lemon. Do the same with the other half. As you do this, say this spell:Justice Spell
  • Visualize again what justice means to you.
  • When you’re ready, open your eyes. Blow out the candle to release your intention into the Universe.

Put the lemon inside a cup or container and leave it under your bed for the rest of the night. The power of lemon will take care of cleansing you, and the cloves will guard you while you sleep.

The next morning, throw the lemon in your compost or with your regular waste disposal. Light the candle again whenever you need to recharge the spell for extra protection.

Spell For Wednesday – VANILLA CANDLE SPELL

Vanilla itself is a scent that is said to relieve stress and it happens to be my favorite.

While holding a vanilla scented candle in both hands visualize your negative aspects such as stress, fear, anger, etc leaving your body. See them flow out of your heart and your mind, and head off into the upper realms of the Universe where the gods can control them. Do this for a few minutes.

Then say to yourself: “I will not feel stressed. I will not feel fear. I am unafraid. I am feeling much better. This day will no doubt be successful. Now light your candle and chant this 3, 6, 9, or 12 times, depending on how big the problem.

“Vanilla, banish my fear,
Burn my stress,
By the Power of the Goddess
Send these things away.”Let the candle burn until all anxiety disappears.

Spell For Tuesday – Ritual for Success

This ritual is customizable according to the kind of goal you would like to achieve.

Sometimes we feel ‘weakened’ by the many obstacles that seem to arise in our life, often making it difficult; sometimes everything seems complicated and difficult. And so, we need something ‘special’ to go back to being the lions and lionesses who conquer their own lives!

When we want to feel stronger and when we want to change the energies around us in order to increase the positive possibilities, this simple ritual can help. It is to be done on Tuesdays at noon solar time and at one summertime (specifically: at noon, you must light the candles, which will have been prepared according to the method described by the preparation of candles, minutes or hours before, depending on the time you have available).

The goal of this ritual was to restore winning energies around the person in question (but, as you know, you can do it for yourself; in this case, choose a stone that is significant for you, even crystal, after having purified it as I did).

The candles should be loaded (read the page on how to load the candles if you don’t know how) before the ritual.

The arrangement of the candles is:

White candle in the north, yellow candle in the center, and orange (or red) candle at the bottom. You will be seated behind the red candle.

Since the goal of this ritual was to increase the life force of the person in question so that it attracts positive or successful situations and events, there aren’t any specific words we can use.

I wrote two lines specific to the situation and recited them aloud like the other spells.

Like this:

  1. as the white candle burns, I become more and more protected from the light
  2. as the yellow candle burns, I get stronger and stronger (or: I am successful in…)
  3. as the red (or orange) candle burns, I get stronger and stronger (or: I am successful in…)

Type of candles to use:

As you can see, I used very low candles; now that I have the experience, I work with almost all types of candles; if I use these bases, I always purify/load them by first removing them from the metal casing and, once loaded, putting them back in the casing.

If you use candles in glass cups you have to do the same thing (load them by removing them from the glass), so I almost never use them in glass cups (I find that they are difficult to extract).

Regarding the ideal timing for this type of ritual, I would say it would be this:

Unless you perform rituals that last seven days, using larger candles than the ones shown here doesn’t make sense (they would last too long).

Generally (but, as you can see from my example above, not always!)

I use ‘naked’ candles (like the ones next to them), without metal or glass enclosures. But, as I said, it doesn’t matter, as long as they are prepared (consecrated and loaded) without the wrapping.

If you use high-quality candles, they should burn completely; otherwise, there will be leftovers (you burn the whole candle, but sometimes there is some ‘melted’ wax around): these should be put in a hidden place in the house or in a place where you often go if it is a matter of propitiatory rites (positive); otherwise, as you know, the remnants of the rites to eliminate obstacles and specific negativities must be buried far from home.

Spell for Saturday – Two Spells to Get Money that is Owed to You

Items you need:
-3 needles

– piece of paper
-Honey
-Rose Honey
-a Candle

Write the name of the debtor on a piece of paper. Pierce the paper with the 3 needles. Place it in a glass containing equal parts of the two honeys. Place a green candle on the top of the jar and petition Elegua to help you get your money back.

To influence someone to repay a debt

Candles–Seven green (material gain) candles. You can use votives or tapers, it doesn’t matter but with cats, it may be safer to use the votives. You also need 4 yellow candles (gentle persuasion).
Oil–Jasmine
Herbs–Clove or cinnamon.
Incense-Ginger, jasmine, or allspice
Stones-Hematite and tiger’s eye

Timing to do spell–On the full moon or the waxing moon cycle, which is on the 16th of this month for the full moon.

Advice–be certain the debt is actually owed to you before doing this spell. If you think someone owes you a debt but it is not true, you will find yourself being forced to pay back any debts you owe. The spell also works for people who borrow things and don’t bother to return them.

Spellwork–Light the altar candles (altar candles are candles that represent the god and goddess, you can use two white votives or if you can get a hold of them, one gold and one silver candles each to represent them) and the incense. Inscribe the name of the person or people that owe you the debt on the green candles. Anoint the candles from the wick to the end. Set the green candles in the center of your working space. Set the yellow candles around the green ones, with the stones inside the circle. Light the green candles first, then the others. Say the chant 7 times. Leave the yellow candles to burn out completely. Dispose of the wax afterward. Burn only the 7 green candles each night. If you wish, you can burn new yellow candles each night until the 7 green candles are gone.

Description

While the moon is waxing (moving from new to full) it is the perfect time to perform prosperity magic. We want to bring things into our lives during this moon cycle, and who doesn’t want a little extra money.

As the saying goes, sometimes you have to spend money to make money. This spell requires a few ingredients but packs a powerful punch, calling upon the ancestors for aid. Feel free to purchase only the necessary products, customize it to your will or perform the spell in it’s entirety.

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

A 7 day candle jar and a green 7 day pillar candle

Prosperity Oil

A jar of Money Draw Herbal Blend

A lucky horseshoe

Ancestor Money

A jar of Magnet Attraction Sachet Powder

A roll of charcoal pucks

a Pyrite stone

HOW TO PERFORM:

Begin by cleansing your empty jar with some sage smoke and your candle by running it under cold water for 30 seconds. Take 3 full breaths while holding your candle and visualize money and prosperity flowing effortlessly into your life. Connect with your intention deeply, use all your senses. Breathe your intention onto your candle 3 times and whisper your intention.

To dress your candle first choose a symbol or create a sigil for prosperity. The dollar sign works like a charm. Carve your symbol or sigil and your intention onto your candle. Next run the prosperity oil over top of your candle. Move in a clockwise direction from the top to the bottom to draw prosperity to you. Finally apply the money draw herbal blend to your oiled candle. Once your candle is fully dressed and charged place your candle in a fire safe container on your altar.

Write down that which you want to draw into your life onto your ancestor money. Be specific, ask for a precise amount of money and if it’s to pay bills don’t forget to include when you need it by. Offer the money to your ancestors for their help. Call them by name and make sure to give them an offering they like.

Place your ancestor money under your candle on your altar. Continue by placing the lucky horseshoe around your candle so that it sits in the ring of luck. Don’t forget to charge the horseshoe with your intention. Light your candle stating your intention while doing so.

In a fire proof bowl, on top of a bed of sand or salt, light your charcoal puck. place a scoop of magnet attraction sachet powder onto the lit puck and allow the incense to surround your spell. Inhale it and feel rich from the inside out. After the spell you can also place some of the powder in your wallet and sprinkle it onto your money.

Take your pyrite stone and anoint it in the magnet attraction smoke. For an added bonus anoint it with your prosperity oil. Hold it in your dominant hand and spend 10-30 minutes focusing on your intention. Feel yourself financially rich. When you are ready, safely take your ancestor money and light it from your candle and burn it knowing with certainty that your ancestors will come to your aid.

Take some time to divine any messages your candle flame has to offer. Candle flames can indicate possible blocks or results of your spell depending on the way it is burning.

Allow the candle to burn out then dispose of your spell work. This can be over several days. Carry the pyrite stone on your for and extra boost of prosperity. Lastly, don’t forget to offer your ancestors some of their favourite treats. Tobacco, tea, beer, cookies work depending on their preference.
