Get through it

Get through it

On the other side of the challenge is value. Get through it, and get the value.

Though the effort makes you weary, it also makes you strong. Get through it, and enjoy the full benefit of that strength.

You’ve already made it this far, and you’ve already established some good momentum. To get through it, just keep going.

Keep going, though the urge to quit may be strong. Keep going, get through it and get the rewards you’ve earned.

Get through it, not by fighting but by accepting and persisting in each moment. Get through it, not with resentment for what you must do but with gratitude for what you can accomplish.

You have what it takes, because what it takes is simply making one step, and then the next, and then the next. Step forward, get through it, and bring your own unique value more fully to life.

BLACK CORD BINDING SPELL

BLACK CORD BINDING SPELL

Use this to bind someone from hurting others and themselves. ONLY do
this if there are no other options available to you.
You need:
Black cord- long enough to tie 3 knots in, A photo of the person harming others
First of all sit and cast circle.
Explain to the universe what you are about to do and ask if it is the right thing.
Think about how the person is hurting others and let the anger build up.
Then all at once say loudly:
(person’s name) I bind you from hurting others!
Then quickly tie a knot tightly in the cord.
Repeat the process three times or as many times you feel necessary.
When done, say:
Three times three, I bind you (person’s name)!
Hide the cord and photo in a safe place where the knots won’t come undone.
Or better still, burn the cord so the knots never come undone.
(you don’t really need a photo, but it helps make the Magic stronger)

KEY TO THE HEART SPELL

KEY TO THE HEART SPELL

It is considered very lucky to find a key. Any sort of key is lucky, but an antique one is especially so.
As with the finding of something red, there are words to say at the time of finding it:
The key to your heart lies on the ground.
The key to your heart has now been found.
I lock up your love with the heart of my own,
I’ll guard it forever with the love I have shown.
As you say these words, think of the one you love and of the two of you being together forever.
Sleep with the key under your pillow for nine nights, carrying it with you during the day.
It may then be put in a place of safety.

A SPELL FOR PEACEFUL SLEEP

A SPELL FOR PEACEFUL SLEEP

These are hung by your bed to encourage a restful sleep and sweet dreams.
10 Cardamon pods 1 tsp. Salt 15 cloves
1/2oz peppermint 1/2 oz rosemary dried peel of 1 lemon
Light a white and pink candle, place them on your work area (kitchen table, counter top).
Crush the cloves, cardamon and salt to a fine powder. Blend with the herbs and put in bags.
As you are making the bags concentrate on peaceful memories and beautiful thoughts.
When you hang the bags by your bed say out loud:
Sleep be with me Peaceful sleep Restful sleep
Let my mind be eased Let my body be calmed
Wings of darkness Let the sight of night and dream
be clear, be quiet Let my troubles drift away and let me dream

THE DREAM SPELL

THE DREAM SPELL

This spell is to cause you to dream of the face of the man (or woman) you will spend your life with.
You may or may not know this person currently.
Do not be surprised if it is not the person you expected.
If your romantic notions happen to blossom in midsummer, you might consider the following:
On July 22, St. Magdalene’s Eve, prepare a bath.
In the water sprinkle lavender and rose petals and as in the Self-Blessing, you must envision
yourself cleansing not only your body, but also your spirit.
After you bathe, prepare for bed and say these words:
Mother of All, Habondia, look favorably upon my quest,
Bring to me a vision true, my lover’s face at your behest.
After you have said the incantation, place a sachet under your pillow with lavender and
hypericum (St. John’s Wort). Before you go to sleep pour a small glass of wine and just as
you do in the full moon rite, say these words:
To You Mother, I pour this libation (pour a few drops on the floor), and drink this toast.
Drink the rest of the wine.
Use your consecrated chalice or consecrate a new cup just for this purpose.
Lay your head down and dream of your true love–it may not be who you thought!

SPELL TO AID SLEEP

SPELL TO AID SLEEP

Light a blue candle (Carve a rune in the candle that stands for sleep).
Light a stick of incense (I use Cedar/Sage–but you use whatever feels right).
Soft/Instrumental/Relaxing Sounds Say:
By this candle I do sleep; Hidden from the day, in the night so deep.
O Lady Moon, guide my dreams, Cover me with your beautiful beams.
As the candle flame dies; Please close my eyes.
Allow me to wake in the warmth of your lover The Sun. Make my insomnia come undone.
(Repeat while the candle is burning) Use A Tea-Light candle (so the house doesn’t burn down)

Today Meditation for March 23

Dissolving Enmity

Whenever someone hurt or angers you, practice this meditation to bring compassion to the situation, in your mind conjure up the  other person. What was it about their actions that caused you distress?  Try to understand why they behaved the way they did. Can you think of times in your own life when you have done something similar? Recall how you felt at that time and why you believed in that way. From this perspective you may begin to see the other person not as fundamentally flawed, but as a fellow human being caught in a bad moment. As you soften to them, notice if our perception of the situation alters, becoming less black and white. With the other person no longer cast in the role of villain, you maybe able to appreciate more clearly your own part in the drama.

Building the Shield – Preliminary Cleansing

Building the Shield

Preliminary Cleansing

When building your first shield, it seems rather ridiculous to lock in any negative energies you may be carrying with you currently. Therefore, a preliminary cleansing, as follows:

Stand in a quiet place and center your energies. Visualize a gleaming sharp sword in your hand. Use it joyously, vigorously slicing through the air close to your body on all sides, over your head and under your feet. As you slash, visualize all unfriendly or negative ties being severed and the ends shriveling away to nothing. Do not be specific — this tie, that tie — all unfriendly ties are being cut! Note that friendly and unfriendly ties exist on different planes, so you can damage the friendly ties — although you may be surprised that ties you through were friendly aren’t — and vice versa. It isn’t necessary to do this every time you work on your shields, although a once-a-year cleansing and general housecleaning couldn’t hurt.

Other helpful rituals include: The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram; The Middle Pillar; the Kabalistic Cross; any other cleansing/grounding rituals you may be aware of.

Wishing You A Terrific & Blessed Thursday, dear friends!

Today’s Affirmation for March 22nd

I welcome others into my house. Here is the room I am most proud of – the kitchen, crossroads of friendship and the world’s blessings.

Today’s Meditation for March 22nd

A Reflection of Your Soul

One way to gain a deeper sense of yourself is to meditate on the character of your living environment, which provides a reflection of your soul. Close your eyes and visualize the exterior of your home. Look at it as if you were a stranger, seeing it for the very first time. Hold each detail in mind, allowing the deeper significance to emerge. What is your overriding impression? Repeat this process for each room inside. Try to move beyond the surfaces to a deeper sense of the spirit of the home.

Today’s Affirmation for March 21

As I begin to explore new territories of the self, the shell of my false self-image begins to fracture under the pressure of my growth. I emerge – a newly hatched chick. I look forward to the adventure of learning.

Today’s Thought for March 21

Anyone who claims to be not yet ready or else past the age for philosophy is like the person who claims to be too young or too old for happiness.

Today’s Meditation for March 21

Wisdom of the Family

The family has much to teach us about ourselves and the world, in your mind’s eye, visualize a tall tree whose branches reach up into the clouds. Looking up at the tree you see the members of your family sitting on the branches. You begin to climb the tree, stopping to converse with your relatives long the way. Ask them what lessons they have to teach you.

March 20 – Daily Feast

March 20 – Daily Feast

Someone said the test of courage is not to give up but to rise up and take dominion over melancholy moods. To give in to mood swings from sadness to anger makes finding stable ground even more difficult. In fact, it probably cause more, nu ne lv na, which in Cherokee means mischief or harm, than any other thing. When talking to someone trustworthy does not ease the stress, then writing it can make a world of difference. Writing it to ourselves can bring out many causes for sadness or anger that we didn’t know we were harboring. A daily journal has been the source of help in learning what we store away unconsciously, only to come out and whip us at the most unlikely times. It is a way of cleaning house and making corrections in the privacy of our own minds without having to tell the world.

~ Do not hurt your neighbor, for it is not him you wrong but yourself. ~
