Some of the Witchcraft/Magickal Correspondence for Thursday

From gypsywolf.weebly.com

Thursday is the fifth day of the week.   In the Norse languages this day is called Torsdag, honoring Thor, the god of strength, fertility, thunder, the protector and defender in war, and son of Odin.  Thor is the counterpart of Zeus (Greek), and Jupiter or Jove (Roman).  Thor, the most beloved of the great gods of northern mythology, is the only god who cannot cross from earth to heaven across the rainbow bridge, for he is so heavy and powerful that the gods fear it will break under his weight.  It was said that whenever his hammer Mjollnir, was thrown, it would produce a thunderbolt and when struck against stone, it would create lightning.

Flower Meaning, Symbolize, and Spiritual Meaning

Blue Flower Meaning: What Do They Symbolize?

From uniguide.com

Blue flower meaning and symbolism includes loyalty, truth, communication, tranquility, and other special qualities. The color blue evokes feelings of serenity and clarity. So, it strikes a beautiful balance when blue flowers are paired with more vibrant tones. In this post, we’ll explore blue flower meanings, types of flowers that are blue, as well as appropriate times to give them as gifts.

Types of Flowers that Are Blue

Before we go into more detail about what blue flowers signify, I thought you might be interested in a list of some of the types of flowers that come in shades of blue. Some of these varieties naturally come in shades of blue, while others are a product of flower science.

Also, different varieties of blue flowers may have their own distinct meanings. You can learn more about blue flower meanings for specific flower types by clicking on some of the flower names below.

What Do Blue Flowers Symbolize?

Here’s a quick list of some of the qualities that blue flowers symbolize:

  • Loyalty
  • Truth
  • Trust
  • Integrity
  • Communication
  • Knowledge
  • Wisdom
  • Tranquility
  • Nourishment
  • Being in flow
  • Spiritual growth

Blue is a serene and peaceful color that’s often associated with the sky, water, and clarity. In fact, surveys show that blue is most popular color in the world.1

So, blue flowers are beloved by many people and they have an array of popular associations.

To begin, blue flowers symbolize loyalty, truth, trust, and integrity. So, they make perfect gifts for a “true blue” friend or someone in your life who embodies these values.

In addition, the color blue is associated with the energy center in the body that is the fifth chakra, also called the throat chakra.

The throat chakra governs communication and how you express yourself. So, blue flowers make good gifts for people who are finding their voice or otherwise speaking their truth. Blue flowers are also empowering additions to gardens and flower pots for this same reason.

In addition to communication, blue flower symbolism also includes knowledge, sharing of information, and wisdom. So, they make wonderful gifts for teachers, parents, or other people in your life who have provided guidance.

In addition, blue flowers have a soothing and calming effect. So, they help to make places feel more serene.

In addition, they can be conducive to the creative process or being productive with work. Just like flowing water, blue flowers embody the concept of being in flow.

Blue Flower Spiritual Meanings

Blue flowers also hold important spiritual significance. For example, as they are associated with the water element, they represent the way that a spiritual practice, gaining knowledge, prayer, and meditation can nourish the soul.

Thus, blue flowers are associated with self-discovery and spiritual growth. For this reason, they make good gifts for those who are going through a process of expanding their spiritual awareness.

Or they are lovely to have in an environment or garden where you pray or meditate as they naturally add tranquility and a sense of peace to a space.

With their association with the fifth chakra, blue flowers are also positive symbols to have around when you are working balancing that energy center in your body. For example, you may be working on being more true to yourself and improving self-expression.

Furthermore, on a spiritual level, blue is associated with the sky and infinite possibilities. Thus, blue flowers symbolize the Divine and the positive forces at work in the Universe.

In summary, blue flowers bring a sense of tranquility, nourishment, trust, and other positive traits to any garden or other environment. They strike a beautiful balance with other flowers that are more vibrant oe flashy in hue because of their calming and clarifying effect.

Moon Alert

There are no restrictions to shopping or important decisions today. The Moon is in Aries.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This is an excellent day for serious discussions with others, especially younger people. (You might talk to a friend or a group.) These discussions will likely be practical, and will have a long-term benefit for you in the future. Write down your ideas.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Any research that you do today might impress bosses, parents and VIPs. They will see that you have done your homework and made an extra effort to get all the facts, as well as solutions to problems. This makes you sound like you know what you’re talking about! (And you do.)

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Although you generally enjoy the company of others, today you’re not in the mood for frivolity. You want answers to questions. You also want to take a long-range view of something, especially in practical terms. This could possibly include involved travel plans.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You’re high viz. today, which means people notice you more than usual. (Be aware of this in case you have to do any damage control.) Meanwhile, take a thrifty and careful approach to discussions about shared property, taxes, debt and inheritances. What are your obligations?

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is an excellent day for some serious study. You might also want to do research for an important paper, manuscript or something related to legal or medical matters. Whatever you do, you will do carefully with thought and precision. Good day to make challenging travel plans.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Set aside some time today to tackle red-tape issues you might have been avoiding – paperwork about inheritances, taxes, debt, insurance and all that fun stuff. The fact is you have the concentration, and attention to detail that is necessary to do the job today. Get as much done as possible.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Do what you can to get along with others today, including partners and close friends, because you will prefer being alone with your thoughts. If you are interacting with others, you will want to take a serious approach to get things done. And why not?

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a productive day for you because you are focused and serious about what you want to do. You want practical results for your efforts. Furthermore, you will pay attention to detail and do everything carefully. You’ll be like the wise carpenter: “Measure twice; cut once.”

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Those of you involved in the hospitality industry, the entertainment world, or working with children will be productive today because you are willing to roll up your sleeves and deal with practical situations. You have a strong sense of duty and obligation, which is why you want to do things right.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

An older family member might have good advice for you today. Meanwhile, if possible, you will be happy to be alone with your thoughts and feelings today. It’s not that you are antisocial; you just want some quiet time to think about your approach to something. (Sounds like a plan, Stan.)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is a good day for serious discussions. It’s also an excellent day to learn something, especially a practical skill or specific facts about how to do something. You might get an excellent suggestion from someone older or more experienced than you. (Never hurts to listen to free advice.)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

The Sun in your sign now gives you vigour and confidence! Meanwhile, lucky Jupiter is in one of your Money Houses boosting your ability to earn money and get richer. Today, a discussion with someone older might benefit you financially. Stay tuned.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor Aziz Ansari (1993) shares your birthday today. You are quietly confident. You’re an excellent listener. You’re efficient and capable. You have a strong style of expressing yourself. This year is a time of change. You will likely have more personal freedom. Seek out new opportunities and be ready to act on them. Expect to travel.
