LOVE SPELL WARNING: Love spells such as this one take the person who you want to love you free will/spirit away. What happens with a spell like this is the person will become obsessed with you to the point of possibly losing their job, which in turn can make them lose their home, automobile, friends, their family, etc. I have heard of people under love spells dying from not eating or drinking when they are not in the presence of the spellcaster 24/7/365. So, unless you want some who only loves you because of a spell you put on them then go for it. But if you want someone to love you because they feel that emotion towards you then please do not do this spell. The same warning goes for animals, birds, reptiles, or anything else that has a heart and can create a bond with someone.
This is a white magick spell that requires readily available ingredients; the important thing is to perform the spell on a Friday under the influence of Venus’s energy and magic.
The first thing to do is to choose a blue or pink colored candle, depending on the sex of the person who will perform the spell.
Take the dagger and engrave a heart on the candle, meanwhile visualize the person who interests you. Then grease the candle with rose oil and say the following request:
“Goddess Venus, you who has the power of love, fill me with your strength and make the person I love (say his/her name) come to me.”
Let the candle burn naturally and, before going to bed, sprinkle a drop of rose oil on your body, so that the love spell has greater power.
Friday comes from the Old English name frigedaeg, which comes from the Norse goddess Frigga. Frigga, like Venus, is associated with love, making this a great day to focus on romance, passion, fertility, and friendship. Color: Pink, aqua, Planet: Venus Deities: Freya, Venus, Aphrodite Crystals: Coral, emerald, rose quartz Herbs: Strawberries, apple blossoms, feverfew Associations: Love, birth, romance, fertility, passion, friendship, pregnancy
Friday is a magical day of the week named for one of two goddesses: Freya or Frigg. Both are Norse goddesses and it’s debated whether Friday is named after one or the other. Some say they’re the same goddess, further complicating the matter. Freya and Frigg share similar qualities, which are good intentions for Friday magick: love, motherhood, marriage, emotions, female fertility, the household, passion, beauty, war and death. Friday is ruled by the planet Venus, Venus was also a goddess of love, passion, etc. When you think of Friday think the day of LOVE and passion.
Friday Magic Correspondences:
Magical Intentions: love, passion, sex, home and hearth, family, motherhood, female fertility, death, beauty
Crystals/stones: rose quartz, pink tourmaline, moonstone, jade, peridot, emerald, ruby
Herbs: red hibiscus, rose, lavender, rosemary, jasmine, blue lotus, violet, birch, sage, ivy

The Moon’s current phase for today and tonight is a Waxing Gibbous phase. Visible through most of the night sky setting a few hours before sunrise. This phase is when the moon is more than 50% illuminated but not yet a Full Moon. The phase lasts about 7 days with the moon becoming more illuminated each day until the Full Moon.
During a Waxing Gibbous the moon rises in the east in mid-afternoon and is high in the eastern sky at sunset. The word Gibbous first appeared in the 14th century and has its roots in the Latin word “gibbosus” meaning humpbacked.
The Waxing Gibbous on January 10 has an illumination of 88%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun. The illumination is constantly changing and can vary up to 10% a day. On January 10 the Moon is 11.42 days old. This refers to how many days it has been since the last New Moon. It takes 29.53 days for the Moon to orbit the Earth and go through the lunar cycle of all 8 Moon phases.
Today’s Moon Sign: ♊ Gemini
The current zodiac moon sign is Gemini, positioned at 3.38° within the sign. The Moon entered Gemini on Jan 10, 12:48 AM and will shift into Cancer on Jan 11, 11:00 PM. In the Northern Hemisphere, the right side will be illuminated, and in the Southern hemisphere it’ll be the left side that is illuminated.
The Waxing Gibbous phase, like all moon phases, will last for just over 7 days. The actual length will vary because of the elliptical shaped orbit of the moon. During this Waxing Gibbous phase the moon will rise in the east in the mid- to late-afternoon and will be high in the eastern sky at sunset.
Assuming it’s a clear night, the Waxing Gibbous moon will then be visible through most of the night before setting just before sunrise.
Fun fact: the word Gibbous was first used in the 14th century and comes from the latin word gibbosus which means humpbacked.

I also smile at strangers I may pass on the street or in a store or any place else I might encounter someone figuring a smile may brighten and otherwise yucky day. 8 out of 10 times the person smiles back at me. Try it you may find it brightens your day also!

Lughnasadh is a Gaelic festival that occurs on August 1st each year, marking the dawn of the harvest season. This holiday marks the midpoint between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox. Lughnasadh traditions celebrate the first cutting of grain, the bountiful harvests of corn, and the Irish craftsman and warrior god, Lugh.
Traditionally, Lughnasadh is celebrated in Ireland, Scotland, and the Isle of Man. Historically, the occasion was marked with a festive competition testing skills of craft and athleticism in honor of Lugh and his foster mother Tailtiu. Offerings made to Lugh would include a sacred bull and a cutting of the first harvest of corn.
This holiday is considered a cross-quarter day on the neo-pagan Wheel of the Year. In some Wiccan traditions, this is the time of year in which the Horned God’s power begins to wane, and the Goddess prepares for his passing at the coming Samhain.
On the same day, some Christians celebrate the holiday of Lammas in an incredibly similar tradition. With the first harvest of grain a loaf of bread is baked and brought to the church to be blessed. Once its blessing is received, the baker takes the bread back home, breaks it into four pieces, and places them at the four corners of their barn or property to protect the grain in the coming months.
Lughnasadh or Lammas?
Though the two are often conflated in Neo-Pagan groups, Lughnasadh and Lammas are two separate celebrations. Lughnasadh is a holiday that is still celebrated by pagans and non-pagans alike in Ireland, Scotland, and The Isle of Man. Though it doesn’t look like what we think the ancient practices may have been, we do know that the traditions surrounding Lughnasadh have been syncretized and are still alive today.
Lammas is the name typically chosen for the Wiccan Wheel of the Year. It is celebrated as the first harvest festival of the year. As stated above, this is the time of year within Wiccan traditions when the Horned God prepares for his passing during Samhain. This holiday is celebrated with bread baking, frivolity, and feasting.

If Your Birthday Is Today
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (1982) shares your birthday today. You have sharp, analytical abilities. You’re perceptive and make high demands on yourself. You’re committed and determined. This is the beginning of a nine-year cycle for you. Expect adventure and major change. Prepared to take on a leadership role. What you do now will bring benefits in the future.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
I might not be the only person telling you today that your concerns are exaggerated and that you should be more relaxed but the best part is that I can tell it to you without judgment, unlike the way you are going to face it from anyone else.
So don’t search for drama in the land of people preoccupied with actual life problems if you don’t want to be taken as a buffoon.
You might be craving for something at home but the only aspect you are getting this Thursday is peace and quiet and you should enjoy that as the tumultuous weekend approaches.
Your relationship with neighbors or someone in close proximity is not really advancing in the direction you are expecting it and some stress might come out of this.
This Thursday might be a bit of a turning point for you when you realize that some behavior you have perpetuated for a long while is not bringing you any benefits but on the contrary, is making you lose grips with reality.
Whether this day provides a rude awakening or not, you are going to spend some time thinking about this.
A good day to meet new people, not necessarily the most influential but surely people you can learn something from.
It is not excluded for them to also bring some traveling prospects with them or to provide you with a different view on a matter you long had your mind set on. You’ll feel the need to get right to action once you’re done with them.
You are projecting some of your sadness onto younger people in your life, whether we are talking about friends, siblings or your own children.
Maybe you are not doing it on purpose or it’s just a way of emotional revenge because they might have it easier than you. In any way, of course it’s not a grown up thing to do and attract bad karma too.
Some act or decision might be blamed on you and it will take you a while to clear out your name. On the other hand this whole situation might benefit you if you play your cards right.
Of course you should avoid any shady behavior like manipulating or black mailing anyone but who says you can’t ask for some compassion.
A popular day for most natives this Thursday both in the office and outside of it and it is recommended for you to stop being so cautious and to stop measuring all your words.
People are probably way too self absorbed to even analyze everything you are doing and only your behavior of this kind can be a bit exaggerated in this whole setting.
Your ambition is growing and if you won something yesterday you probably want to replicate this today as well.
Of course, for most natives I am not talking about any actual gains or financial benefits but more of leverage or ability to showcase themselves further. Perhaps in a job interview or during the presentation of an important project.
You have neglected some of your duties recently and this will come to bite you eventually, however you are not really tempted to make amends either.
Therefore you find yourself a bit stuck in the middle, not really able to act further because you would go deeper in the mistakes but also not willing to take a step back and admit what you should do.
You might see your energy resources decreasing and you need to be quite wise about it because you still have a full Friday to deal with tomorrow.
At the same time, due to tiredness you will find yourself quite irritable and not really in the mood to respond to any family duties or to social challenges your friends might have for you. Just find yourself really good excuses.
This Thursday is on one hand characterized by very good auspices but on the other there will be a lot of work involved as well.
Another word of advice would be to not count on lies, even those that appear to be innocent. It’s better to accept some things as they are and wait instead of entering in a complex web of lies and deceit.
Not a good day to ask for money, especially if you don’t want to look hopeless, even in the eyes of your own family.
Plus, if you are asking for a loan to indulge yourself or to pursue some kind of dream, do expect for even more raised eyebrows to follow. Use your own abilities, make better plans and appear more convincing next time.
Imbolc, also called Imbolg or St. Brigid’s Day, is a traditional Gaelic holiday that is celebrated by pagans worldwide, including Wiccans as one of the eight Sabbats.
Imbolc marks the midpoint between the winter solstice (Yule) and the spring equinox (Ostara). As such, it is considered a cross-quarter day on the pagan wheel of the year, and it is often celebrated around February 1st – 2nd, or August 1st – 2nd if you’re in the Southern hemisphere.
What’s the meaning of Imbolc? Each winter, we shut ourselves up in our homes for warmth, much like the animals and insects that enter hibernation through the colder months. The home has collected dust and stagnant energy as we have shifted our focus to survival mode.
Imbolc is a word that comes from the Old Irish i mbolc (Modern Irish: i mbolg), meaning ‘in the belly’, and refers to the pregnancy of ewes at this time of year. Spiritually, Imbolc is a time of banishing the winter season so that we can sow a bountiful harvest in the springtime. During this time, we celebrate the first signs of the approaching spring: blades of grass and dandelions steadily emerge from the cold ground, the singing of birds returns to soften the cold chill of the air, and many of those hibernating creatures are beginning to awaken.
Imbolc is traditionally the great festival and honoring of Goddess Brigid, known as St. Brigid by Catholics.
How to Celebrate Imbolc
The days are becoming longer again, and we can finally open up our homes to clear out the winter blues that have been lingering within. This time of new beginnings presents a wonderful opportunity to cleanse and purify ourselves and our homes of that stagnant energy we’ve been building up in hibernation.
Let’s take a look at some Imbolc rituals and other ways that pagans around the world practice Imbolc, including the members of our group: The Infinite Roots Coven
Lughnasadh falls opposite of Imbolc on the Wheel of the Year. While Imbolc is widely considered a sabbat of the divine feminine, many consider Lughnasadh a celebration of the divine masculine. Being the first of three harvest festivals, we can mark the occasion with plentiful gratitude for not only the flora and fauna that feeds us physically on a daily basis, but also gratitude for the fact that the harvest allows us to survive and thrive, thereby increasing our positive spiritual influence in the world.
Simply acquire any bones to which your intuition leads. Yes, humanely and sustainably sourced chicken or cow bones are okay! Ensure that the bones are dry, and use a permanent marker to draw symbols and words related to the harvest, satisfaction, and sustenance onto them. Consider tying stalks of wheat or any grain to the bones once you are finished decorating. Hang these in your home (especially inside or outside the front door) to encourage a plentiful life and to honor the earth now and forever.
If you’ve tried other spells without any success or you feel something is blocking you from attracting money, you can try this spell. This is especially powerful for any financial blockages you may be experiencing. This spell will free up the money logjam and allow the money to start flowing to you. The sage will cleanse, while the pine imbues the energy of immortality, vitality and never-ending luck. The essential oil of vetiver clears away stubborn blocks to money. Jasmine is an attractor and opens the pathways for money to enter your life.
Basic Supplies
Sage smudge stick
Gold candle (votive or pillar)
Candle holder
Matches or lighter
Anointing Oil Supplies
1/8 cup of olive oil, coconut oil or grapeseed oil
2-3 drops Jasmine essential oil
2-3 drops Vetiver essential oil
Small bowl to mix oils
1 pair disposable plastic gloves
Blockage Breaking Supplies
Gold ink pen
Green piece of paper
Citrine stone
1/8 teaspoon of dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon dried rose petals
Mortar and pestle
Fireproof bowl
Pine incense stick
Step One: Smudge Room
Clear your room of all negative energies using a sage smudge stick. Extinguish it once you’ve cleared the room.
Step Two: Light Pine Incense
Before you begin the work, light the pine incense and clear your mind of all fears and apprehensions. You can recite a mantra or say a prayer when you light the incense. Create a circle of protection around you.
Step Three: Use Mortar and Pestle
Using the mortar and pestle, crush the dried thyme and rose petals together until they are a powder. Set aside.
Step Four: Write Your Desire in Gold
One the green paper, use the gold ink pen to write down your money desire. It’s best to keep it short and open ended so the universe can give you the best of your desires. Once completed, pour the crushed thyme and rose petals into the center of the paper. Gather the four corner and twist them together, to form a pouch. Set aside.
Step Five: Mix Oils
Using the small bowl, pour the carrier oil (olive, coconut or grapeseed), jasmine and vetiver essential oils together. Gently swirl oils to blend.
Step Six: Dress Candle
The gold candle represents the gold mineral dug out of the Earth and has powerful energies. Don the disposable gloves, dip fingertips into the bowl of mixed oils and anoint the candle starting at the top and pulling the oil down the candle length. Repeat until the entire candle has been dressed with the oil. Set in the candle holder. Remove gloves and dispose of them.
Step Seven: Mantra for Lighting of Candle
While lighting the candle repeat a favorite mantra, slowly and deliberately while thinking of your money goal. You may prefer to repeat a money-oriented mantra. You can use this one:
“Money, Money, I call to thee,
Come now in answer to my summons,
Cross through all blocks and barriers,
Find this path I create just for thee,
Take up your new home with me
and stay forever.”
Step Eight: Burn Paper and Herbs
Visualize stacks of money coming to attention and marching toward you and through your front door. Imagine the money stacking up in your home, more and more bundled bills jumping onto the stacks. Pick up the green paper pouch you made and hold one corner to the candle flame. Let it burn for a while, then safely place it into the fireproof bowl. The pouch should burn up until it self-extinguishes.
Step Nine: Allow Candle and Incense to Burn Out
You want the candle and incense to burn out. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Don’t extinguish the candle. It will sabotage this spell and break it before it has time to cast.
Step Ten: Close Protection Circle
Once the work is complete, close your protection circle. You should experience a shift in your money/financial within the next 28 days. It usually requires a full lunar cycle for spells to manifest, but sometimes they can be much faster.
When Candles Self-Extinguish Too Soon
Some candles self-extinguish before burning up. In such cases, take the remains of the candle and bury it outside your home or office. Some people prefer to bury these in a glass jar at night as per their ritual. You will need to cast your spell a second time.
Resistant Candle Burning
If you have difficulties with your candle not completely burning, you may need to cast a banishment spell first by using a black candle (be sure to dress it, too). The black candle will remove negative obstacles. Once the black candle spellwork is completed, you can proceed with the money spell and your gold candle should now fully burn.

Imbolc, also known as Candlemas and Groundhog’s Day, occurs at the beginning of February. It marks the middle of Winter and holds the promise of Spring. The Goddess manifests as the Maiden and Brigid. The Groundhog is a manifestation of the God. Colors are White, and sometimes Red. It is a festival of spiritual purification and dedication.
Thoroughly clean your altar and/or temple room. Do a self purification rite with Elemental tools — cleanse your body with salt (Earth), your thoughts with incense (Air), your will with a candle flame (Fire), your emotions with water (Water), and your spiritual body with a healing crystal (Spirit). Bless candles that you will be using for rituals throughout the year. Invoke Brigid for creative inspiration. Take a Nature walk and look for the first signs of Spring. Reflect upon/reaffirm spiritual vows and commitments you have made.

Foods to Improve Vaginal Health and the Practice of Vaginal Steaming
When it comes to our health, nutrition reigns all-important.
When it comes to the delicate balance of vaginal health, this could not be more true.
Vaginal health is something many women struggle with at some point in their lives as part of the natural cycle of development, maturity, and finally menopause. Yeast and bacterial infections, urinary tract infections, and a host of irritations can be unpleasant, painful, and uncomfortable. About 75% of women get at least one yeast infection during their lifetime, and if you have ever suffered one, you know that it is a real nuisance and can disturb quite a few areas of your life.
You are not alone!
Foods and drinks have a different effect on the body’s pH; some promote your health and vigor, while others are not so supportive of it. Not surprisingly, what we eat also has an effect on the vagina and vaginal health. Often, the key to improving your intimate well-being lies in what you put on your plate.
An emphasis on Nutrition
Here is a list of some common foods that will help you strengthen and preserve your vaginal health:
Natural yogurt and other probiotics
Eating probiotics plays an important role in maintaining the vaginal pH at its slightly acidic level, and warding off yeast infections. Probiotics, also referred to as the ‘good’ or ‘beneficial’ bacteria, keep your gut healthy, thus supporting the well-being of the whole body and balancing the body’s pH.
The best sources include fermented foods like natural yoghurt (Greek yogurt), miso, kimchi, sauerkrauts and kefir (you can also use kefir to cleanse your colon). When buying your yogurt, make sure to go for the one that contains live and active cultures and avoid sugary and flavored yogurts that will do little for your vaginal health.
The jury is still out on the benefits of drinking kombucha (a beverage made by fermenting tea) if suffering from a yeast infection. While some hail this drink for its probiotic effects, others advise not to consume it while fighting a yeast-overgrowth due to the sugar and yeast it contains (these two are food for organisms – such as a candida – that cause yeast infections).
Cranberry juice
Pure cranberry juice is well known for its beneficial effect on the bladder. It both prevents and relives the symptoms of urinary tract infections (UTI). Cranberries acidify the urine and balance the pH of the vaginal area. They contain acidic compounds that don’t get broken down when they travel though the digestive system, so they can fight the bacteria that cause urinary infections.
Most store-bought cranberry juices unfortunately contain way too much sugar to serve its healing purpose. Your best bet is to either look for pure, unsweetened cranberry juice or eat fresh cranberries. Unsweetened cranberries do taste tart and many people find them unpalatable. Try mixing them in your yogurt or sweeten them with honey which will not disturb your vaginal pH.

This is definitely one way to get around that tart taste and still get the fruity compounds you need.
Garlic for vaginal health
Garlic
Garlic is known for its antimicrobial and antifungal properties. For best results, eat this ancient remedy raw and try to avoid these 6 common mistakes when using garlic as a medicine. If you suffer from a yeast (candida) infection, a garlic vaginal suppository (garlic pessary) is recommended – it effectively kills the yeasts and soothes the symptoms of the infection, which include itchiness and soreness. As odd as it might sound, you simply insert a clove of fresh, peeled garlic into your vagina and leave it overnight. You can design a sort of a tampon by wrapping the garlic in a gauze or cheesecloth before inserting it. Repeat the treatment for three consecutive nights.
The active ingredient in garlic is called allicin – it is responsible for garlic’s potent smell and its healing effect. True, consuming and using a lot of raw garlic might temporarily give you a distinct odor, but this is not a lot to put up with in exchange for a healthy and vibrant vagina.
Fresh fruits and vegetables
Fresh fruits and vegetables are a part of a balanced diet that also supports your vaginal health. Certain vitamins and minerals found in fresh veggies and fruits are particularly good.
Vitamin C is a well-known immune system booster. Citrus fruits, guava, strawberries, kiwifruit, green and red peppers and broccoli are all rich in vitamin C.
Leafy greens should be consumed in abundance. They help with the circulation and prevent vaginal dryness. Try to eat plenty of spinach, kale, cabbage, salad, Swiss chard, collards and other leafy greens. If you find it hard to eat them by themselves, mix them in a smoothie or sautéed them.
Avocado is another wonder of nature that stimulates vaginal health and also helps with the libido. Avocados contain B6 and potassium and support healthy vaginal walls.
Seeds and nuts
Adding nuts to your daily nutrition is a positive step to improving your wellness and overall health since nuts are both a source of protein and healthy fats. Vitamin E prevents vaginal dryness and can be found in sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts and hazelnuts, as well as in the oils derived from these nuts. Almonds and pumpkin seeds are also rich in zinc. This essential mineral regulates the menstrual cycle and helps combat itching and other symptoms of dryness.
Flaxseed is another super-food that is good to include in your diet on a regular basis. Rich in phytoestrogens and omega-3 fatty acids, it helps to boost estrogen levels and stops vaginal dryness. It is important to consume ground flaxseed in order to enjoy their benefits.
Water
Agua! The mucous vaginal membranes require plenty of water. To function properly, they need to stay well-hydrated. The best way to achieve this is by drinking sufficient amounts of water. At least six to eight 8-ounces glasses of water should be drank each day (~1.5 to 2 liters). Water helps to lubricate your vagina and also diminishes the smell of your private parts.
Foods to avoid
If vaginal health is your priority, steer clear of certain foods. Products that disturb vaginal (and body) pH and contain nutrients bacteria and yeast feed on should be avoided, especially while you are trying to heal an infection. The main offenders include:
sugars
alcohols (these also contain sugars)
wheat
Often, the best way to treat a candida infection is to starve the yeast – these organisms are very fond of sugary environments, therefore a strict low carb diet is recommended. Yes, I know, we must avoid binge-ing on the ice cream 🙂 Some also advise skipping foods that contain yeasts, such as beer and bread.
Generally speaking, if you want to enjoy a healthy vagina, you should stick to a balanced diet, avoid processed and sugar-rich foods and eat plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits. Also, avoiding activities such as douching, panty perfume, and wearing not-so-breathable underwear and, of course, always practicing safe-sex and regular visits to the gyno help a bunch, too!
Did you know that you can cleanse and detox your vagina? Detoxing your vagina may sound odd but women, especially among the Asian cultures, have been doing it for centuries to regulate their menstrual cycles, reduce stress, fight infection, clear hemorrhoids, and aid fertility.
What is V-Steam?
Vaginal steam baths, popularly dubbed the V-steam baths, aim to cleanse, detox and tone up your vaginal lips, vaginal walls, cervix, and uterus. You sit over a pot or bowl of herbal infused steam that rises into the vagina.
Although vaginal steaming became popular in the recent years and is now being offered by some more progressive spas and holistic health clinics, this treatment is no novice to the world of health and beauty. It has been known for centuries in Central and South America as ‘bajos’, and as ‘chai-yok’ in Korea. While there is still no scientific evidence to support V-steam benefits, this age-old technique has been widely used by Korean women as stress and infertility remedy. It is now being rediscovered once again.
Health benefits of Vaginal Steaming
Vaginal steaming is supposed to help in the treatment of the following conditions and problems according to traditional medicine:
Bladder and yeast infections
Vaginal cysts
Hemorrhoids
Infertility
Irregular and painful periods
Uterine fibroids
Perennial tears
Scarring from caesarian section
Recovery from hysterectomies and laparoscopies
Similar to other forms of steaming, vaginal steaming too helps with stress and anxiety reduction. If you just think about how you feel after taking a soothing herbal sauna, this last benefit rings true.
