BLACK CORD BINDING

BLACK CORD BINDING

Use this to bind someone from hurting others and themselves. ONLY do
this if there are no other options available to you.
You need:
Black cord- long enough to tie 3 knots in, A photo of the person harming others
First of all sit and cast circle.
Explain to the universe what you are about to do and ask if it is the right thing.
Think about how the person is hurting others and let the anger build up.
Then all at once say loudly:
(person’s name) I bind you from hurting others!
Then quickly tie a knot tightly in the cord.
Repeat the process three times or as many times you feel necessary.
When done, say:
Three times three, I bind you (person’s name)!
Hide the cord and photo in a safe place where the knots won’t_come undone.
Or better still, burn the cord so the knots never_come undone.
(you don’t really need a photo, but it helps make the Magick stronger)

Daily Aromatherapy Tip – Cold and Flu

Daily Aromatherapy Tip – Cold and Flu

For colds, flu or other viral infections, take a warm shower and
follow it with a gentle whole-body lemon-oil treatment before going
to bed. Combine one cup of sunflower oil and 20 – 30 drops of lemon
oil and rub this mixture evenly over your skin. Wrap yourself up
well in towels or blankets and go to bed. During the night the oil
will be absorbed by the skin’s pores and will deploy its antiseptic
properties.

Today’s I Ching Hexagram for November 9th is 25: Innocence

25: Innocence

Hexagram 25

General Meaning: Innocence flows from a natural harmlessness, openness and pure intentions, unsullied by ulterior motives. The state of innocence has less to do with age than attitude; innocence springs from a heart that remains open to joy and wonder. Innocence, when guided by a firm faith in what is right, brings supreme success. Naiveté unanchored by an ability to discern right from wrong, on the other hand, brings misfortune.

The hallmark of innocence is a willingness to treat others with compassion and respect in a natural way. Those who possess a pure heart are best guided by their instincts and intuition. Thinking too much makes it difficult to hear the guidance of the heart, the suggestions of a clear intuition. Stay simple and be wary of cleverness.

A Colored Hat For All Reasons (Blood/Harvest Moon)

Use this spell to solve a specific problem.

You will need a comfortable chair and a hat. Use the color of hat that corresponds to the problem you want to ponder: white and purple for spiritual matters, pink for love, green for health, and blue and red for problems regarding business  or your life’s quest.

Sit down in your comfortable chair with your colored thinking hat by your side, and think about the problem for a few minutes. With both of your hands, place the hat on your head and say:

“Divine hat of wisdom
Give me insights into my problem.”

Relax in your chair by sitting back and taking several deep breaths. Imagine a bright light shining down from the hat into your mind. The light shines everywhere looking for the solution to your problem. Take several more deep breaths and sense yourself letting go of the problem and thinking of he best thing that happened to you today.

Set the hat near the head of your bed before you go to sleep. While drifting to sleep, give yourself the suggestion that the solution to our problem will be clear to you by morning.

Thoughts of the Day for Sept. 27th – Thinks that make you go Huh?

  • Incontinence Hotline…Can you hold, please?
  • Oh, no! Not ANOTHER learning experience!
  • The only cure for insomnia is to get more sleep.
  • Advice is free: The right answer will cost plenty.
  • Two can live as cheaply as one, for half as long.
  • My life has a superb cast, but I can’t figure out the plot.

Deity of the Day for August 23 is ULIKUMMIS

ULIKUMMIS

Son of Kumarbis.  He was made to oppose Teshub.  There is also
mention that he destoys some of mankind.  However, he is actually described as
being blind, deaf, and dumb; as well as immobile.  He was made of stone and
placed on Ubelluris’ shoulder to grow.  He grew until he reached heaven itself.
When the gods found him, Ishtar removed her clothing and attempted to lull him
with music, but he didn’t see or hear her (as he was a blind and deaf creature).
The gods attempted to destroy him, but had no affect (he didn’t even notice).
Finally, Ea called for the Copper Knife that had been used in the seperation of
heaven and earth.  He then used the blade to sever Ulikummis from Ubelluris’
shoulder; lopping the creature off at the feet.  Teshub was then able to destroy
the creature totally.  It is interesting to note that this god’s name is the
same as a pair of twin volcanic mountains in Asia Minor.  This may explain why
he is said to be destroying mankind, even in his seemingly catatonic state.

Herb of the Day for August 21 is RED SAGE

RED SAGE (Salvia officinalis)

To grow:
Perennial herb. Grows 1 1/2-2 ft high. Leaves are 1-2 inches long, narrow, and

bloom and fertilize if you cut continually. Divide every three or four years.
Propagate from cuttings, layers, or seeds.

It is most widely used as a remedy for inflammations of the mouth, gums, tongue,
throat, and tonsils. As a gargle it will help laryngitis, pharyngitis,
tonsillitis, and quinsy. It reduces sweating when taken internally and may be
used to reduce the production of breast milk. It stimulates the muscles of the uterus and may be used as a compress to heal wounds.

Part used:
Leaves. Collect the leaves when the plant begins to flower in late spring or
early summer. Dry in the shade at a temperature not above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1-2 tsp. of the leaves and leave to infuse for
10 minutes. Drink three times a day.

15 minutes. Gargle deeply for 5-10 minutes several times a day.

What Do You Do When The You-Know-What Hits The Fan?

What Do You Do When The You-Know-What Hits The Fan?

Author: Dove

Well…I wish I knew the answer to that one. I’m an expert in needing to know the answer because lately, I really have been asking the question.

About a year ago I found out that my best friend had developed breast cancer. Not the kind where we take a little tumor out and you go home and all is well. No the kind where we give you chemo from hell and then cut you breast off and then burn up your skin with radiation leaving you with an opening in your chest which has not healed yet! This was the major train wreck of cancer with spots on the skull and spine now! The “let’s do some more testing and see” kind of cancer. The BIG one. The kind that only the very best in medical treatment and the hand of the Goddess can save you from.

At the time that we found out about the cancer I was working at a good job bringing in a nice paycheck. I was a trained professional working in a field that after many years of study I was finely comfortable in. I felt that I was an important part of the corporate structure and was really doing really good work for my employer. I had the world by the tail. I was the “go to person” in my department and knew all the answers. Man, was I dumb.

I wanted to do all I could for my best friend and spend as much time with her as I could but I couldn’t see how I could be of much help with my busy work schedule. I was the big important working woman with clients who needed me.

I asked the Goddess to help me with this problem. Well…the Goddess answered me in a way that rattled me to my core. My boss named one of our own to the job of “Office Manager” a title of far reaching power, earning much respect. One of the first things my new office god did was fire me.

Well…I was devastated!!!! I have been in the work force for over thirty years and have never missed a paycheck! I lived to be over fifty years old and now I’m fired!!! I cried and I have to admit that I thought about doing bad magic on my dear old work mate. Really bad!!! I didn’t. I know that some of you think I’m a wimp and I probably am but I just couldn’t waste any more energy on that job or the people I was working with. Then what was the Goddess thinking? I am the major “bread winner” for this family. How were we going to live on just my husband’s payday?

Then, my husband who was working at a job that we knew was shaky at best got fired the very next week! He has a medical condition which makes a lot of jobs something he just can’t do. We were lucky when he found the job he had and that he was able to stay there for over seven years. He was able to keep his medical insurance so that the two recent medical disasters he has been through didn’t send us into bankruptcy. That was a total blessing but man we were in a fix!

Thanks to the economy being down the tubes we went on unemployment and that with my cashed out 401K has gotten us through so far. Don’t get me wrong I am looking for a job and would love to go to work today! I started looking for employment the very day I was fired but haven’t had any luck. I know that you hear that the unemployed are just setting at home eating bon-bons but I want to work and am doing everything I can to get a job. I’m even starting back to college this fall in order to upgrade my skills for a better chance of employment.

Well… back to my best friend. Because of my sudden lack of employment guess who was able to go with her for her chemo treatments….stay with her during surgery…..go over to her house to pack her open chest wound twice a day. Me! Talk about the Goddess taking care of a situation! I guess you could even look to “the book” and reference the tale of the corner stone being the one the others threw away. I was so happy to be there for her!!! I know that I am not a trained health care professional but I was there and am still there when she needs me. I hope that the fact that she could and did call me at anytime and I’d be right there helped her get through this horror.

Well…. like I said I could really use the answer to the question. I am still not employed and still looking for a job but I have gotten over the “corporate ego” thing and hopefully will never have that sickness again. The time I spent with my buddy packing a gaping chest hole has caused me to think that I could do that for others, so, I have applied for nursing school at the local community college. I know that I am older that dirt but I still have some good years left in me and I’m not the kind of gal to call it quits just because I reach retirement age.

My best friend is getting better and our hope is that we have her with us for a very long time. She still has an open chest wound that the doctor just put a wound-vac on. That and daily visits to a hyperbolic chamber will hopefully clear up that part of her problem. The doctors will still be looking after her for a long time and I will too. The Goddess was no doubt listening in on my thoughts when this whole thing started and fixed it so that I could help my friend and like I said, teach me a lesson that I needed too.

And about the sh*t…Well…The best thing I can think of to do is dig a hole and plant roses. When the roses bloom I will give some to my husband who I love and cherish even through he is not in the best of health and not working, my best friend to brighten up her day and I will keep some for me. After all of this I deserve them.

P.S. I’ll dig more holes so that I’ll be ready for the next time the you- know-what hits the fan.

Hugs,
Dove

Special Kitty of the Day for August 10th

Phoebe, the Cat of the Day
Name: Phoebe
Age: Two years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Tuxedo
Home: Jackson, Michigan, USA
Phoebe loves to be “inside” anything, her tunnel, the cupboard, bowl or pots that are left out, the waste basket. She’s our “party girl” who will play with anything or anyone who will participate. She loves chasing her sister, littermate, Rachel. She comes when called and wants to be cuddled whenever her “mom” sits down.

Phoebe is a lover. She will lay in your arms, baby style, for as long as you want or the blood quits flowing to your arms. She will reward you with loud purrs for your time. She is very shy when it comes to strangers and will hide behind the clothes dryer until you give her the “ok” sign. She will come whenever you call her name in hopes of food, play or cuddling. She’s a talker and usually has a lot to say. She’s small in stature but has a loud voice. Mornings are “family” time and she will lay on the towels or get inside a shelf to watch you shower. She rides pretty well in the car and likes to sleep on the dash instead of in the carrier. She finds the strangest places to sleep (notice the picture of her in the bowl). When she was a kitten, she liked to sleep in the Puffs tissue box.

I hope this gives you an idea of what a special little girl she is.

TO PART FROM A LOVER

TO PART FROM A LOVER
Cut out a heart shaped piece of paper and write your name and the name of your
ex-lover that you want to break up from on it. Tear the heart in half, place the heart
under a lit black candle and say the following:
As I burn this candle and tear this heart
(names of you and your ex -lover) will forever part.
(Say a name of any person you like now (if you like anyone) or name of a
person that he might like…) will forever see
that he/she is the one for me.
Let the spell do it’s work and send a new love interest and let the hurt

Thought for the Day – How to Stay Young

Thought for the Day – How to Stay Young

  1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay ‘them!’
  2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
  3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle.’ An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’ And the devil’s name is Alzheimer’s.
  4. Enjoy the simple things.
  5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
  6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
  7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
  8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
  9. Don’t take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
  10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

Happy, Happy, Happy Wednesday! TGIW!!!

In case you are wondering what TGIW means it means, “Thank Goddess It’s Wednesday!” Or in my case, thank goodness I lived till Wednesday.  First of all, I am sorry I have been running late doing the dailys for you. Yesterday, it was the hubby. He was cleaning out my son’s room (the one’s that been married for 6 years and has 2 kids). He was wanting to know what I wanted to keep, what was all right to throw away. Then today, it is the my three fur babies, the wildcats! They are growing like little weeds and act like teenagers. I know it sounds funny but I thank the Goddess every day for these little miracles. They are a joy and make me smile from ear to ear. Perhaps three little wildcats are the answer to empty nest syndrome that I didn’t know I had, lol!

*Personal note* I was just in the back reading all the comments and I ran across one that indeed flattered me or floored me :s I am still trying to figure it out.  But I had someone wanting to buy this web blog? They were disappointed I didn’t have some type of money to something switch program. I don’t know what that is but I am guessing people start blogs, get them built up and then sell them? I don’t know. If anyone is familiar with this please let me know. Oh, yeah, one more thing, I am not selling out. Witches of the Craft or the WOTC as it has been so lovingly called in the pass, is my brainchild and I love it to pieces. So sorry, you have to put up with me, lol!
