True Beauty Spell
You need:
A dish full of earth (good soil, not dry, dusty dirt) A yellow candle A full-sized mirror Olive, patchouli, jasmine, or cinnamon essential oil A small flower pot A flower or plant seed
Anoint the candle with the essential oil you have chosen. Place it in the center of the dish of earth. Light it and sit down with it between you and a mirror.
Look deeply into the mirror, concentrate on your reflection. Without being vain, consider the things you find most beautiful about yourself — not just physically but mentally. What is your inner beauty, what is your outer beauty? It’s important that you never think of what you feel must be “changed”, be as positive about the beauty that you have already.
Perform this ritual 3 nights in a row.
Once the entire candle has burnt down, remove the wax from the dish. Place the earth from the dish inside a small flower pot and plant a seed inside it.
Water it and care for it so that it grows properly.

Cauldron, or a fireproof container
Spell Instructions
Create your sacred space in your favorite way.
Write the word “BAD LUCK” on the white square sheet of paper.
Under that, think about and write write all of the ways that the bad luck has manifested in your life. If you’re just keeping yourself safe, you can simply keep it as “BAD LUCK”.
Draw a large X over each of the things you’ve written, marking them out of your life. Visualize them never happening again or visualize yourself being safe from that harm.
Draw a large X over the words “BAD LUCK”, knowing that your streak of bad luck is over.
Consecrate the candle for beneficial energies. Light the candle. Burn the paper and drop it into your cauldron.
Fire: As it burns, say, Dark night, blazing fire My luck gets better by the hour. I know that this burden is fading By now, my life has begun straightening.
Water: When your container is cool enough, take a third of the ash and sprinkle it into running water (yes, your toilet will work just fine!) Say: Pure water, running free Take bad luck away from me. Take my bad luck with the flow Take my sorrows to where you go.
Air: Take another third of the ash and throw it into the breeze. Say: Winds of change on this dark night Take this luck and make it right. In his power, the air dissipates To me bad luck can no longer relate.

Some Tips on Empowering Charms and Keeping Them Cleansed
First do not use the word talisman or amulet in place of charm. The reason being is they are three different types of objects. Also we are not talking about charms you would find on a charm bracelet. A talisman is the equivalent of a good luck piece or can be spelled for protection and it carried with you all the time. An amulet is usually a necklace with a pendant hang from it the has been spelled and charged for protection, a closed connection to a Goddess or God, a symbol of a person’s spiritual practice. An amulet can be spelled for a purpose such as protection or to keep others’ emotions from getting to you in a limited way and still be a symbol of a person’s spiritual practice. Anything from a leaf to a seven-foot candle including anything you might want to use as a charm in your home, at work, or in your vehicle. Today we will be concentrating on spelling a charm.
Always form a sacred circle to do your spell work in. Remember to either ground or let the positive energy free when you open your sacred circle. You need to cleanse the object of all energy except what it is made of, so when you spell the object there is no one else’s energy involved in it but your own. Call in whatever Goddess(es) and/or God(s) will help you achieve the outcome for your spell.
Make sure your spell wording is very specific for what you want the spell to do before you empower an object. Otherwise, anyone who has touched the object before their energy will remind on or in the object and will weaken your spell work.
So now you have your sacred circle done and the object cleansed awaiting your energy and spell work to empower to make it into a charm. You should repeat your spell a minimum of three times. I repeat the spell nine times for maximum power. I usually than sit in the circle holding the object I just charmed until I feel it is time to put it wherever I am going to use the charmed object. I picture sitting wherever I am placing it and doing whatever I have empowered/spelled it to do. Once you feel you have put as much energy into as you want to for that day let the Goddess(es) and/or God(s) depart with you thanking them for their help.
(I have a glass container in every room in my home they all contain some stones, a feather, wooden matchstick, and a seashell of some sort. I have them charmed to not only help protect our home but to continuedly trickle out loving positive energy. These are simple to make and when we have visitors they really don’t ask about the container and to them strange contents. Pick glass containers that fit in with your homes decor and then they appear as a nick knack. More on these in Tomorrow Spell For Today)
Now it is time to open your sacred circle you can either ground on excess enrgy you raised to Mother Earth for however she wants to use it or just let it go into the Universe to be used however it wants to use it.
These suggestions for charms come from shiroshine:
Whenever I charge a charm of any sort, I mark my calendar to remind me to check-in on it in a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and then, if it has been “good to go” that whole time, I recharge it after a month’s work 🙂 Of course, if it starts Feeling weakened before that, I will recharge it at that time
Suggestion to keep the charm clean with an elemental cleansing which you should do before every time you want to recharge it or you feel the object needs to be cleansed:
Place the object under running water and say three times: Water, please take all energy but mine, the spell on this ____ and what the object is made of.
Either take the object out into the sun or place it in a place where sunlight shines on it and say three times: Fire, take all energy but mine, the spell on this ____ and what the object is made of.
While outside or by an open window or in front of a fan or use a hand fan and say three times: Air take all energy but mine, the spell on this ____ and what the object is made of.
If you are outside place the object on the ground or if inside have some dirt or salt to sprinkle on the object and say three times: Earth, take all energy but mine, the spell on this ____ and what the object is made of.
If you are outside hold the object up in the air if possible and say three times: Spirit, I ask you to recharge the spell on this ____ and what the object is made of.

Spell For Monday – Protection Spell

The spell: “God and goddesses, hear my plea. Protect this (name) for whom I please. So mote it be!”
The ritual: Get four 3 white candles and 1 green candle and your charm. Place the white candles in a triangle in front of you and have the green candle in the center. Light them up and bask your charm in the candlelight.
Cast the spell. Once you’re done, blow out the candles and let the charm absorb the smoke by simply circling it around and through the smoke.
These are some of the easy magic spells that you can do on your own. Keep in mind that this is not a one-time thing. If you want to get better at casting spells for your manifestation, then you should practice it.
Spell for Sunday – Peaceful Dreams Spell

If your need for a nightmare spell is more about stopping them than causing them, then this water elemental spell can bring a calmer sleep.

1 oz dried valerian
3 pieces of polished moonstone
A clear glass bowl
Fill your bowl with pure water, then add the other ingredients. Give it a stir with your fingers before going to bed. Repeat the lines of the spell:
Bring me quiet
Bring me peace
Ease my dreams
Nightmares cease
Keep the bowl near your bed while you sleep. It will absorb any negative energies in the room that could be effecting your sleep and dreams. I do have a sleep spells page too that has a few other rituals that can help at bedtime if nightmares aren’t your only problem.

Description
Boost the intimacy and love you have in your life with our “Attract Love & Intimacy” bath spell. This spell is best performed on a Friday, the day ruled by the planet Venus and during a waxing moon (when the moon is moving from new to full). The energy of Venus governs the domain of love. We want to help you achieve the best results, using as many aligning correspondences as possible.
REQUIRED MATERIALS:
Taper Household Candles 6″ (Pink for plutonic, Red for passion)
HOW TO PERFORM:
Begin by cleaning your candle by running it under cold water for 30 seconds. Take 3 full breaths while holding your candle and visualize yourself happily surrounded by love and intimacy. Connect with your intention deeply, use all your senses. Breathe your intention onto your candle 3 times and whisper your intention.
Begin to prepare your candle by carving in symbols or create a sigil for love. Hearts, a cupids arrow, or whatever symbols represent love and intimacy for you works. Carve your intention onto your candle.
With your oil rub a thin layer over top of your talisman and your candle. Move in a clockwise direction from the top to the bottom to attract love in to your life. Anoint your heart and feel it full of happiness from the abundance of love in your life.
Once your anointed and your candle is fully dressed and charged place your candle in a fire safe container in your bathroom somewhere you can see it from your bathtub. Light your candle while repeating your intention for love out loud.
Draw your bath adding the patchouli bath salts into the warm water. Submerge a rose quartz stone for added love and attraction if you have one.
Spend 10-30 minutes in the bath deeply concentrating on the abundance of love you’re about to call into your life. Feel the love and joy in your life, sing to some of your favourite songs, read a book featuring a relationship you admire and want. This is your time, experience the luxury of your bath. Once your finished step out onto your floor full of the attraction for love and abundance you have in your body. Don’t forget to dispose of your candle in an ethical way.

Spell For Friday – Increase Memory and Focus
Increase Memory and Focus
This spell features some of our favorite ingredients for increasing memory and focus! If you find yourself unable to focus with a side effect of a bad memory, like me, this spell will work wonders on you! This memory spell utilizes rosemary, an herb well known for repairing the memory; it’s also great for protecting your confidence, which plays a large role in our ability to recall things!
We’ve incorporated a few different types of crystals, depending on your specific need, and we’ve also brought in some symbolism and numerology to aid in the energy of the work. The number 4 vibrates stability and focus, as does the shape of the square.This spell is best performed on a Sunday or during the hour of the Sun. Keep in mind that you will still need to perform real-world follow-up.
Spell Ingredients
4 Crystals [Carnelian for analytical focus. Citrine for creative focus. Regular or Orange Calcite for learning new things.]
1.5 tsp. Dried Rosemary
Teacup
Tea ball or tea bag
Crystal Grid or Flower of Life Grid, optional
Boline or an item to carve into your candle
Spell Instructions
Bring your water to a boil. In the meantime, create your sacred space by cleansing with sage, followed by palo santo or sweetgrass. You may also cleanse your candle, crystals, and rosemary with the sage.
Bring all of your ingredients into your sacred space. You may choose to cast a protective circle, if that’s part of your practice.
Hold your hands over the Rosemary and visualize remembering everything. Say “To increase my memory.”
Pour the Rosemary leaves into your tea ball. While continuing to visualize your memory working better than you think it will, pour the water over the Rosemary leaves.
Hold your hands over the steaming cup once more. Say “To increase my memory.”
Hold your hands over the crystals, and visualize yourself successfully focusing on your work. Say “To increase my focus.”
Arrange the crystals in a square around the coffee cup. Imagine the energy of the crystals forming a solid square around and through the cup. This square represents a solid foundation of focus, empowering the tea with the energies of focus.
Hold your hands over the square of crystals and tea. Say “To increase my focus.”
Using your carving tool of choice carve “+ Memorae” down one side of the candle. Say “Memorae. To increase my memory.” Again, visualize that your memory is recalling everything it needs to and more!
On the other side, carve “+ Focus”. When you are done, say “Focus. To increase my focus.” Again, visualize that your focus allows you to complete your work perfectly!
Place the candle above your crystals and tea. Hold your hand over the candle and chant “Increase my memory. Increase my focus!” until you feel convinced that the spell is working! You’ll feel your hair stand on end, you may feel slightly faint, or you may notice that you’ve begun chanting very loudly! Say “Increase my memory. Increase my focus” one last time and light the candle.
Visualize all of the energy from chanting is the light of the candle, the spark of the spell. Visualize that energy going down the candle, drawing a straight line to your square grid and into your cup.
Know that the energy of the spell is now in your cup. Drink your Memory and Focus Tea and feel your mind opening, your memory working, and your focus kicking in.
Clean up, say Amen, say So Mote It Be, close your circle, do what you need to do and enjoy the effects of your tea!
You can let the candle burn out or extinguish it and use it for the same spell. You can also use it for a quick memory boost later.
Spell For Thursday – Fig Potion for Prosperity and Success

Fig Potion for Prosperity and Success
This potion is a delicious combination of spices and figs that has a rich purple color and an amazing cinnamon, cardamom scent mixed with the delicate tones of earthy, fresh figs.
You can use this potion drizzled on top of foods such as muffins, pancakes, berries, yogurt, and meats like ham and chicken. You can also add it to cocktails and mocktails for a light, spiced earthy drink with a vivid pink color.
I love making this potion in the fall, during the time of Mabon because figs are in season and it is a harvest festival of abundance.
ITEMS NEEDED
½ cup whole fresh figs
2 whole cloves
1 small cinnamon stick
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
¼ tsp cardamom ground
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp vanilla
STEPS
1. Slice the figs
2. Combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer for and simmer for 20 minutes, until the syrup has darkened and thickened.
3. Remove from heat and strain to remove the fig pieces and cinnamon stick
4. Let the syrup cool and use it drizzled on foods or in drinks. Recite the incantation below when you eat the syrup and focus on bringing in prosperity and success. (see below for a delicious cocktail using this fig syrup)
*Refrigerate the syrup to keep it for later. It will last about 1-2 weeks
Fig Cocktail Recipe:
Add ice to a glass and then add 1 part fig syrup, 1 part gin (or gingerale for a mocktail), top with club soda or tonic water, and add a squeeze of lemon

Love and Sweetness Candle Dressing
Not all candles dressings have to include oil. There are many other creative and meaningful ways to make your herbs stick to your candle, like in this recipe. Instead of using oil, the candle will be coated with maple syrup. As a sugary liquid, maple syrup is associated with sweetness and attraction. If you find it to sticky, try mixing it with a few drops of water to dilute it.
For anointing, you will need:
1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon crushed rose petals
1 pinch orris root powder
This dressing can be used on any candles that are burned during love spells, including those surround the place where you do your magical working. If you are doing a spell for attraction using two candles (for example, two candles shaped like human beings bound together), the stickiness of the maple syrup serves to fuse the couple together even further. If you don’t like maple syrup, you can use honey, sugar water, or even a really sweet beverage.

Draw an outline of yourself in the soil. Next, over it draw a symbol representing that which you wish to be free of.
Draw this symbol over the image. Gaze at it, see the symbol as part of yourself, as you are now.
Then, with careful strokes, completely erase the symbol with your fingertips. Make sure you don’t damage your original outline, however, if this happens, redraw immediately. Now gaze at the new you, free of the negative aspect and ready to start again with a cleaner slate.
Repeat every day for seven days.

How To Make The Witch’s Bottle Friendship Spell
Spell timing:
- Waxing Moon or Full Moon
- Friday
- Hour of Venus
Ingredients:
- Sage or Palo Santo (to energetically cleanse all ingredients)
- 1 Glass Jar with a lid, sterilized
- Yellow paper (Yellow is the color of friendship.)
- 1 Black pen, or your favorite quill and ink
- Scissors
- Cauldron or fire-proof bowl, optional
- Pentacle Plate/Peyton, optional
- Tiger’s Eye, or 6 Tiger’s Eye pebbles
- 6 Coriander pods or powder (or any other friendship herbs you’d like)
- 3 Lemon Slices, sun dried
- 3 Drops of Preserved Lemon Juice
- 1 Yellow, Brown, or Pink Candle
Spell Instructions:
- Prepare your ritual space: Cleanse yourself with sage or palo santo, and use your favorite circle casting technique. Here is our favorite!
- Cleanse and consecrate: Using your sage and palo santo, cleanse each item that will be used in your friendship spell. Visualize each item surrounded with yellow light and know that each ingredient will bring new friends into your life.
- Visualize: Place the jar on your pentacle plate or altar, if not using a peyton. Visualize that as it fills, so shall your life fill with new, aligned friendship. Visualize yourself being happy.
- Write the traits of your new friend(s): Cut the yellow paper into strips. On each strip, write one exact trait or quality that you want your new friend(s) to have. As you write, say the quality out loud and visualize the friend you make with that quality. Important Note: Do NOT list a specific person. You’re calling the person who will be right and best for you, and it’s not always the person that you THINK you want.
- Add the traits to the jar: One at a time, pick up a trait/quality strip, say the trait out loud, visualize the friend you are calling having that trait, light the paper on fire, and let it burn to ash in your cauldron. Continue visualizing as it burns, then dump the ashes into your jar. If you’re not using a cauldron, you can simply fold the paper strip, unfold it to release the magick, and drop it into the jar. Note: If you are calling one friend, fold the paper once. If you’re calling multiple friends, fold the paper the number of times for each friend you’re calling.
- Add Lemon Seeds to grow the friendship: Drop in the lemon seeds, one at a time, and say, “Into this bottle, I drop this seed To manifest into my need. I wish that my number of friends will grow, Based on the qualities I’ve placed below. An’ it harm none, so mote it be.”
- Add Tiger’s Eye to call only true friendship: Drop the tiger’s eye into the jar and say, “Tiger’s Eye to keep away false friends, And allow me to see the friends who will be loyal ‘til the end. An’ it harm none, so mote it be.”
- Add Coriander to invoke the true love of friendship: Drop or sprinkle in the coriander and say, “Coriander to invoke sisterly/brotherly love, Sisterly/brotherly love that my life has been void of. An’ it harm none, so mote it be.”
- Add Dried Lemon Slices to promote long-term growth of the friendship from seed: Place the dried lemon slices on top of the contents of the jar and with each addition say, “A lemon slice, the color yellow, Placed into this bottle to show Just how much the fruit called our friendship will grow. An’ it harm none, so mote it be.”
- Add Preserved Lemon Juice to preserve the friendship: Drop three drops of preserved lemon juice from the refrigerated bottle into the jar, and say: “Refrigerated lemon juice, meant to preserve, Serve the purpose you were meant to serve. Preserve this friendship, every little drop, Let us remain good friends until time stops. An’ it harm none, so mote it be.”
- Seal the spell: Place the lid on the jar, and using the colored wax, seal it. As you finish sealing the lid, say: “An’ it harm none, so mote it be.”
- Visualize and release: Visualize a great friendship while seeing a yellow or pink light around the bottle. Know the spell is done, and it is.
