Waning Moon Prayer
I call upon you Hecate
My words I ask you harken
For your waning moon is in the sky

You will need:
Orange candle
High John the Conqueror oil
The best time to cast this spell is at midnight on a Full Moon, but if you don’t want to stay up that late, you can work it at any point on the Full Moon night or on a Sabbat.
Since you are asking to draw in power, be sure you are firmly grounded and centered before casting this spell and that the space you are working in is protected. Unlike some of the spell where it makes little difference whether or not you start by casting a formal cycle, in this case you should do so. This is not a spell to take lightly.
Cast your circle, ask for help from the four quarters, invoke the triple Goddess of your choice, then anoint the candle with the High John Oil. Be sure you are centered before reciting the spell.

What you will need:
Blue (light blue is good) or white candle
A picture of yourself at a healthy weight
An apple sliced in half crosswise to show the pentacle shape inside
The apple serves as a symbol of healthy food provided by Mother Nature. After you say the spell, take a bite to demonstrate your internalization of the magick. If you want, eat an apple every day for a while to reinforce the spell. (Also, it’s good for you.)
Light the candle and spend as long as you need visualizing yourself being healthy and happy with your eating habits. See yourself eating good food in reasonable amounts and enjoying the occasional treat. Look at the picture you are using and set that image in your mind as a goal, then say the spell out loud. Finish by eating your piece of apple. If you want, you can eat half and bury half outside.

You will need a decorative box. If you like, decorate a shoe box, yourself so your box is original. Label your box, Love Box.
For the next month, every night at twilight, write down one loving thought or feeling about your love and put it in the box. Fold the paper three times. With each fold, repeat:
Blessed be my heart’s desire!
At the end of the month, give the box with the folded love notes to your love. When you hand him or her the box, repeat:
Blessed by my heart’s desire!
Makes two servings.
Eight ounces of chilled papaya juice, two apricots, peeled, pits removed, one-quarter cup of nonfat milk, one cup of vanilla ice cream, one cup of orange sherbet, and one banana.
Add all the ingredients to the blender. With each ingredient you add, repeat:

Finger Painting Magick
In the sacred marriage ceremony of the Sumerian Goddess Inanna, she comes forth like a moonbeam to the Shepherd God Dumuzi, through the open door. By meeting him at the door, she completely accepts him as her mate. He looks at her, rejoices and takes her in his arms and kisses her.
For this spell, you will need your lover, a doorway and amber-scented oil. You are going to reenact this ancient ceremony with your beloved. And be sure to dress in something oh so sexy for this sex magick spell. Meet your lover skyclad at the open door to your bedroom. Slowly and sensuously anoint each other with the scented oil. Look at your mate and rejoice. Take him or her into your arms and kiss passionately, then do what comes naturally.
Use this journey to help you manifest an important personal goal.
Just before you go to sleep, lay back skyclad and get as comfortable as you can. Shift your body slightly to get even more comfortable. Take a few deep breaths to center your awareness. Now, imagine you are a star of white light in the night sky. Merge into the starlight and become the head and limbs of a five-pointed star. Transform into a luminous star body and a disk of brillant light. Direct your starlight toward one person goal. Use your intention and breath to focus your awareness completely on that goal. Allow your feeling and energy to move your goal to its desired outcome. Move into the future for a moment and actually imagine successfully manifesting the results you desire. Merge with that desired outcome as deeply as you can for at least fifteen minutes. When you are done, drift to sleep.
This seductive spell will leave a lasting impression on the one you love.
You will need red lipstick or lip balm such as chapstick (for men), your love and a thornless red rose.
After dark, write I LOVE YOU! On your bathroom mirror with the lipstick or chapstick. Also kiss the mirror a few times, each time applying new lipstick or chapstick. Draw a couple of stars and hearts and other magickal symbols. Now pull your lover into the bedroom. Greet him or her with a red rose (minus the thorns). Draw the rose softly along his or her cheek and then stroke your lover’s neck and throat with the soft petals and say:
“Your eyes are the stars in my skies
Your lips are the strawberries of my soul
Your kisses are the candy that I crave.”
Now tuck the rose in the front of your lover’s shirt or top, and kiss him or her with intense passion so that you can feel the spark and fire run through your body and your lover’s body. Continue to make love and have a blissful evening of love. Leave the message on the mirror for a moon cycle. You and your lover will enjoy reading the message and remembering your night of blissful love.
Cast this spell to bring you closer to the one you love.
You will need a colored candle, a ballpoint pen and ten drops of rose oil. Choose the color of candle that represents the energy you want to bring into your relationship. Colors are: Green = growth, pink = romance and love, red = passion and sexuality, white = a stronger spiritual bond.
Once you select the colored candle, use the ballpoint pen to inscribe the name of the person in the relationship with you three times on the candle body. Next, write your name three times on top of the three names of the person in the relationship with you. As you rub ten drops of rose oil into the candle, say the following verse:
One drop, two drops, three,
Let the Goddess of love empower me.
Light the candle and imagine looking into the eyes of your lover. Envision the energy of the candle burning like a beacon, lighting a path between you and your lover. Now say:
Divine light of passion
Come brighten my lover and I
With your shimmering light
Tonight and every night

Let the candle burn down safely. In the morning when you wake up, say a heartfelt prayer for the Goddess of Love.
You will need a white candle, a purple candle, a blue candle and nine drops of sandalwood-scented oil.
At midnight, begin by anointing each candle with three drops of the oil. Rub the oil into the wax while chanting:

Banish all who wish to harm me

Set the candles up in their holders in a line on your altar with the white one in the middle. Light the candles and dedicate them to the Goddess by saying:
Divine Goddess of Light,
Let your love shine in my life
Dear Goddess, please bless and guide me
And protect me from all harm

Use your intentions to connect the flames of the candles together. Imagine the light intensifying and becoming a giant shield of light that banishes all evil and darkness in your space, clearing it out with the divine light and love of the Goddess. Continue doing this for at least thirty minutes. Allow the candles to burn down safely.
Yesterday, we covered reversing a spell with Water. Today, I thought we would cover how to banish or reversing a spell with Fire. If you already know this, please have patience with me. I know we have several new ones to the Craft. I am hoping they will find this info helpful. Thank you!
Reversing A Spell With Fire
This method of reversing a spell is particularly effective for magickal work that has been done with Fire. This covers the entire range of candle magick, as well as any magick intended to influence yours thoughts. Some people may want to use this spell on a regular basis at the Full Moon, for it will provide protection against all of the usual negative influences from others which accumulate in the course of a month. You will need a two cups full of dirt and a candle to use this spell and process. People who do not have access to dirt in their backyards may use potting soil. The candle type, use any kind you would like.
Take a small candle and light it. Place it in the dirt (make sure the dirt is in a fireproof container) while it is lit and allow the flame to stabilize. With a sudden motion, take the candle from the dirt and reverse it, extinguishing the lit end into the dirt. Bite the burned end off the candle and light it again, saying:
“As the candle flame is reversed, so let all that opposes me be reversed. As the flame has perished in the dirt, let those who oppose me come to nothing in their work.”The candle is now left to burn out. When it burns out, take the candle and dirt out of your home. Outside, put the candle and dirt in a small plastic bag. Go to the furthest part of your property and bury it there. Now forget about. Always remember when you do your spells and rituals, do them and then do not dwell on them. It seems if you keep fretting and worrying about a spell or ritual working, it won’t. So never dwell on any spell work you have done.
This way of reversing with Fire has been used for centuries. And I can testify is does work well. It can also be considered an effective curse breaker. If a curse is actually present, this spell often produces an immediate feeling of relief as soon as the chant has been said. In some cases the relief can be impressive, as the spell may be done by one person for another. However, when the spell is done by a Practitioner for another, it should be followed by a cleansing and a blessing.

Light the candle and envision yourself as you were as a child. See yourself now, doing all the activities you enjoy. Then see yourself in the future, but see the child that still exists within you peeking through. Say the spell with enthusiasm!

Spell to Calm Overreacting
To reduce a tendency to overreact to situations
Items You Will Need:
White Candle
Lavender essential oil or incense
This can be said on the new moon or whenever needed. It is actually more of an affirmation than a spell, so you might want to memorize it and say it whenever you feel yourself starting to overreact to something. (You only need the candle the first time you do the spell.)
Anoint the candle with lavender essential oil or burn some lavender incense. (Lavender is an easy scent to find and you can use it later to remind yourself not to overreact. If necessary, you can dab a bit of essential oil on a tissue and tuck it in your pocket.) Light the candle and focus for a while on the light and the calming smell. Then say the spell as slowly and calmly as possible.

On a piece of paper, write down all the obstacles you can think of that you are blocking your success. Include everything: the economy, specific people like your nasty boss, every circumstance, and every situation that opposes your success. Try to be as specific as possible.
Now for each obstacle on your list, get a black candle. And for each candle, carve one of the obstacles on your list onto the candle.
It’s best if you have an odd number of candles.
Anoint each candle with cinnamon oil.
Burn one candle each night, and scorch the edges of the paper a little bit each night. Do not burn your list completely until the final night and the final candle.
After you have burned your last black candle, take a gold or green candle. Gold and green are the colors of success. Choose a green candle if your main goal is to make more money, a gold one if it is to find a more satisfying career.
On a new piece of paper, list everything that you want in a job. Your dream job, if you will. Be specific as possible. As your green or gold success candle burns, burn this paper as well.
Focus and concentrate on manifesting your dream job. Now that you have eliminated all obstacles in your path with the black candles, it’s time to start focusing on attracting success.
Be patient, the answers will come to you and new opportunities will make themselves available.
Don’t be afraid of these opportunities. Recognize them for what they are—and go for it!
