Six Of Fire – Minor Arcana

The Explanation of Six of Fire Osho Zen Tarot

This character in Six of Fire Osho Zen is clearly at the “top of the world” and the whole world is celebrating his success with ticker-tape parade!

Because you are willing to accept the recent challenges of life, you now – and will soon – enjoy the wonderful ride on the back of a successful tiger. Celebrate, enjoy, and share the joy with everyone – and remember: every colorful parade has an opening and an end. If you keep this in mind and squeeze every drop of happiness you are experiencing right now, you will be able to embrace the future without regret. However, don’t try to hold on to this moment, or wrap it in a plastic bag so that it lasts forever.

The greatest wisdom to keep in mind with all the phenomena in the parade of your life, whether at the peak or the abyss, is that “this too will pass.” Celebrate, yes, and keep riding on the tiger’s back.

The Energy of Six of Fire Osho Zen Tarot Based on Osho’s Teachings

Watch the waves in the ocean. The higher the wave goes, the deeper is the wake that follows it. One moment you are the wave, another moment you are the hollow wake that follows. Enjoy both – don’t get addicted to one. Don’t say: I would always like to be on the peak. It is not possible. Simply see the fact: it is not possible. It has never happened and it will never happen.

It is simply impossible – not in the nature of things. Then what to do? Enjoy the peak while it lasts and then enjoy the valley when it comes. What is wrong with the valley? What is wrong with being low? It is a relaxation. A peak is an excitement, and nobody can exist continuously in an excitement.

Luis

Protection, strength

Tree: Rowan (Sorbus spp.)

Letter: L

Luis symbolizes a connection with one’s higher spirit or Guardian Angel. Whether you believe in such things or not, we can all agree that without protectors, especially when we are young and defenseless, we human beings make easy prey. Luis indicates you are loved and valued by someone and that they love and value you enough to feel protective of you.

We are surrounded by beings who are willing to teach us and help us grow towards our potential as human beings, but if we reject their good advice with materialist denials or because we are lazy or treat them as spiritual vending machines, they are more than happy to stand aside and leave the doors open for the legions of beings who do not wish us well.

When we grow up, we all become parents of sorts as we end up taking upon the role of self-parent. For example: you get yourself up in the morning, not mom. You obtain food for yourself, you bathe yourself, you are responsible for your own behavior and regulating your own communications and emotions. Luis means you are willing to take the necessary precautions that a good parent would insist upon if you were the child. You are acting as a good parent to yourself, providing protection and sanctuary, allowing yourself room to grow without overreacting in extreme directions.

Hexagram Twenty/20

Kuan / Contemplation

The gentle Wind roams the Earth:
The Superior Person expands his sphere of influence as he expands his awareness.
Deeply devoted to his pursuit of clarity and wisdom, he is unconscious of the inspiring, positive example he is setting for others to emulate.

You have cleansed yourself; now stand ready to make your humble, devout offering.

SITUATION ANALYSIS:

The situation marks a rising to new heights.
As you climb for a better view of the panorama, you make yourself more conspicuous to those below.
This hexagram is also known as the Watchtower, because the shape formed by its lines resembles the ancient guardposts manned by Chinese soldiers.
These towers were placed on mountainsides to give a better vantage point.
To those below, the watchtowers served as landmarks to help them find their way.
The quality of your search for clarity in this situation serves as such a guidepost for others along the Way.

Witch Trials in the 21st Century

The most famous witch trial in history happened in Salem, Massachusetts, during the winter and spring of 1692-1693. When it was all over, 141 suspects, both men and women, were tried as witches. Nineteen were executed by hanging. One was pressed to death by heavy stones.

However, witch trials are not a thing of the past. Indeed, charges of witchcraft and trials of suspected witches are increasing.

Witchcraft

The word witchcraft has good and bad meanings in different cultures around the world. A general definition of witchcraft is the changing of everyday events using supernatural or magical forces.

Witchcraft is usually associated with the power of nature, such as medicinal and poisonous plants, or rains and floods. People accused of witchcraft are said to be able to control natural events such as storms or droughts.

So-called “witch doctors” use combinations of plants and animals, as well as spirituality or supernatural ability, to treat medical conditions. These “witch doctors” are not accused of being witches themselves—they heal illnesses and ailments blamed on witchcraft. “Witch doctor” is often a derogatory term for a traditional healer. Traditional healers, who rely on ancient remedies, are not witch doctors.

Unlike traditional healers, witch doctors use spells. Spells are words or phrases that are suspected of having magical powers. Casting a spell to be wealthy or lucky in love is an example of witchcraft.

Why do some people believe in witchcraft? Using the example of the love spell, some people may believe that Click here to read the rest of this article

Anxiety Be Gone: Purple Candle Spell

Try this easy ‘Anxiety Be Gone!’ Spell to quickly banish anxiety and boost your confidence. All you need is a purple candle and your intentions!

Why this Spell Works

Purple candles are used for meditation, deep cleanses, transformation, and contacting the spiritual world. If you don’t have a purple candle, you can replace it with a blue (healing and peace) or white (all spells) candle.

Anxiety Be Gone: Purple Candle Spell

Recipe by Megan Black

Try this easy ‘Anxiety Be Gone!’ Spell to quickly banish anxiety and boost your confidence. All you need is a purple candle and your intentions!

INGREDIENTS

  • Purple Candle

DIRECTIONS

  • Create your sacred space in your usual way. You may choose to cast a circle, as well.
  • Hold your unlit purple candle in your hand and close your eyes. Let your anxiety and stress flow from your hands and into your candle.
  • Now, take three deep, cleansing breaths. As you inhale, envision a white light flowing through you. This white light is full of peace, calm, and positivity. As you exhale, envision a murky gray leaving you. This is your stress, anxiety, and negativity.
  • Open your eyes and place your candle on your altar. Then, take your match or lighter and light your candle.
  • Gently gaze at your candle flame and say the following:By the gentle glow of this candle’s light,
I banish anxiety into the night.
With the candle’s flame and magic’s grace,
I find serenity in this sacred space.

With every flicker, let peace arise,
As I chant these words to the skies.
    Anxiety, you shall now depart,
From the depths of my soul and my heart.

In the name of peace and inner calm,
I banish anxiety with this balm.
Anxiety be gone by the candle’s gleam,
As I will it, so mote it be!

  • Close your eyes and spend a few moments in quiet reflection, allowing the spell to do the work. Take several deep breaths, letting the anxiety and negativity flow from you like water down a stream.
  • If it is safe to do so, let the candle burn all the way out. Then dispose of the remains in the trash. If you can’t let the candle burn all the way down, extinguish the flame and light it again if you repeat the spell.

Friday Source: groveandgrotto.com

Friday is ruled by Venus, and that can only mean one thing: Love magick!  Friday is the traditional day to do love-drawing magic, or cast a spell to bring your lover closer. Besides sexual attraction, spells of friendship, sympathy, reconciliation and self-love fall under Friday’s love-magick heading.  Because Venus is closely connected to the natural world, it’s also a good day to harvest plants and herbs for magical uses. Also on Friday:  Do mirror magick. Make baths, potions, and philtres.  Weave glamours and enchantments. Craft workings for pleasure, enjoyment, and intoxication.

Friday Source: otherworldlyoracle.com

Friday is a magical day of the week named for one of two goddesses: Freya or Frigg. Both are Norse goddesses and it’s debated whether Friday is named after one or the other. Some say they’re the same goddess, further complicating the matter. Freya and Frigg share similar qualities, which are good intentions for Friday magick: love, motherhood, marriage, emotions, female fertility, the household, passion, beauty, war and death. Friday is ruled by the planet Venus, Venus was also a goddess of love, passion, etc. When you think of Friday think the day of LOVE and passion.

Your Personal Daily Tarot Card

The Hermit

The Hermit denotes a need to have some space between you and the everyday hustle and bustle of our busy world. The Hermit needs to retreat. Indeed, happiness for The Hermit requires seclusion, freedom from material wants, and time for intense introspection. The answers The Hermit needs cannot be found in our physical world. The truths he seeks are internal, spiritual, and the distraction of a well developed social life can only impede his quest for his personal truths. Still, although not anything remotely resembling extroversion, The Hermit does sometimes need to share time with others; so he can both learn and teach, guide and be guided. The Hermit’s time spent amongst people depletes his energy rapidly. To avoid mental and physical overload he has to retreat from social settings quickly.

Your Personal Daily Love Tarot Card

The Fool

You deserve a partnership that deepens as you get to know each other. Wait for the person who has risen above commitment immaturity if commitment is your desire. The Fool reminds us that dating someone is not a mistake. It is falling in love and marrying them if it is not right. If your long-term relationship is encountering a difficult patch, now is the time to work together to rebuild.

Your Personal Daily Erotic Tarot Card

The Judgement

The Judgement card indicates that you’ve had some sexual hang-ups in the past, but you’re working toward getting over them. This is a period of transition, and although you’re doing the work, you may not be getting the exact results you desire. Forgive yourself for past missteps in order to take a sexual step forward today. Being afraid to express your true erotic self can even effect other areas of your life, so getting beyond your sexual inhibitions translates into a happier overall existence.

The Full Moon for this month will occur later in the month on Thursday, May 23rd. The New Moon is earlier in the month on Wednesday, May 8th.

May’s Full Flower Moon

May is most notable for being the turning point in the year where temperatures rise and a vast variety of flowers come into full bloom, letting the world break out into a riot of color. As such, May’s full moon has come to be known as the Full Flower Moon. The Anishnaabe tribe also called it the Blossom Moon. In Northern America, you can expect to see flowers such as bluebells, sundrops, violets, and so on, as well as lush greenery to go with the blossoms. The Apache and Lakota peoples named May’s full moon the Green Leaves Moon, while the Mohawk tribe called it the Big Leaf Moon. But there is one specific plant that’s very important during the May season – and it is, in fact, not a flower.

This plant is corn, an important staple food for Northern American peoples. According to the Algonquin tribes, May’s full moon is the Corn Planting Moon. For Native American tribes, this is the perfect time for them to start preparing the fields for farming and sowing the seeds saved up from last year. Appropriately, the Abenaki culture refers to May’s full moon as the Field Maker Moon, while the Haida tribe calls it the Food Gathering Moon. Apart from corn, other foods such as beans, squash, and potatoes are planted during this time. The Cherokee tribe called May’s full moon the Anisguti Moon, or the Planting Moon, and would traditionally perform a Corn Dance during this period to encourage a fruitful corn harvest.

Due to the rising temperatures, the Full Flower Moon is also a time of heightened fertility. This is a good time for women to bear children in a warm, safe environment that would increase the chance of their survival. That’s why May’s full moon is also named Mother’s Moon, or Milk Moon, which could refer to breastfeeding or to the milking of cows. The latter interpretation is based off the Old English name Rimilcemona, or the Month of Three Milkings, referring to how this was a period where cows could be milked up to three times daily.

In other parts of the world, the Full Flower Moon is better known as Vesak or Buddha Day, the most significant celebration for Buddhists all around the world. On the first full moon of May, Buddhists commemorate the birth, enlightenment, and passing of the Buddha. Devout practitioners are encouraged to renew their intention to adhere to sacred Buddhist principles, as well as refrain from all forms of killing and violence, including eating meat. Celebrations include giving charity to the poor, disabled, and otherwise marginalized groups in society. Depending on your location, you may witness the spectacular practice of releasing thousands of caged birds into the air as a symbolic gesture of liberation, though this tradition is illegal in countries such as Singapore because it may cause harm to local ecosystems.

Pagans, on the other hand, associate the Full Flower Moon with the element of fire, and thus often celebrate it by lighting bonfires and engaging in other magical fire rituals to bring prosperity. Powerful colors for the Full Flower Moon include fiery colors like red, yellow, and orange. This is a good time to tend your garden and let the seeds you’ve planted blossom – both literally and metaphorically. Cultivate your passions and desires, encourage them to burst forth into bloom, and you will be rewarded with abundance in various forms in your life.

Gardening Moon Calendar – May 2024

Source: mooncalendar.astro-seek.com

Please read this first:

1) Moon Phase x Moon Zodiac Sign:

Please keep in mind, that Gardening by Moon Phase and Gardening by Moon Zodiac Sign are two different/independent biodynamic systems and they might give you different or contradictiory gardening recommendations.

  • a) Each Moon Phase (except Full Moon and New Moon) lasts about 1 week
  • b) Each Moon Zodiac Sign lasts about 2.5 days

Try to experiment with these two systems to find which recommendations suits you the most.

2) Tropical (Astrological) x Sidereal (Astronomical) Zodiac:
(1-2 days difference in Leaf, Fruit, Root and Flower days)

There are two different zodiacs for determining the Moon Sign:

  • a) Tropical zodiac (Astrological) is based on the seasons – Vernal Equinox is fixed as 0° Aries (The 1st Fruit day)
  • b) Sidereal zodiac (Astronomical) takes into account Precession of Equinoxes and shifts 0° Aries back by cca 1-2 days. Maria Thun who was an authority on biodynamics was using this Sidereal zodiac

Try to experiment also with these two zodiac systems to find which system suits you better.

Attention:
Surgical operations are generally recommended during the Waning Moon, because human body is healing better after surgery.

However, try to avoid surgeries of the organs under the influence of the zodiac sign the Moon is in on the day of the surgery. These organs are more sensitive when the Moon is passing the sign they are affiliated with and their surgery is not recommended.

Joyful birthday wishes from Lady Carla Beltane with the WOTC Family and Friends!!

May the next year of your life bring you more love, laughter, joy, happiness, enough income to cover what you have to have along with a little leftover for fun! May it bring you everything you want if it is supposed to be and everything you need. May sorrow be unknown, and any negativity be minimal. May the wind always be at your back.

Being a Taurus born on May 1st, you are passionate and committed to your ideas. Although you are generally sensible and polite, you can also become quite temperamental when things don’t go as you’d like them to.

You enjoy making yourself respected and prefer to stay away from any controversy. You are also very loyal to your family. Get ready to better understand your horoscope profile below.

The zodiac sign for May 1 is Taurus.

Astrological symbol: Bull. This relates to simplicity, wealth, strong nature and tension coupled with peace. This is the symbol for people born between April 20 and May 20 when the Sun is considered to be in Taurus.

The Taurus Constellation, one of the 12 constellations of the zodiac is placed between Aries to the West and Gemini to the East and its visible latitudes are +90° to -65°. The brightest star is Aldebaran while the whole formation is spread on 797 sq degrees.

In Italy it is named Toro while the Spanish call it Tauro. However, the Latin origin of the Bull, the May 1 zodiac sign is Taurus.

Opposite sign: Scorpio. This complementary relationship with Taurus across the horoscope chart suggests practicality and mystery and shows how these two signs can help each other in keeping things balanced.

Modality: Fixed. This modality of those born on May 1 shows curiosity and enthusiasm and also offers a sense of their humorous nature.

Ruling house: The second house. This house represents all material and non material possessions an individual gets in a lifetime. This only doubles the influence orienting Taurus towards wealth and life’s pleasure.

Ruling body: Venus. This celestial body is said to influence sympathy and authority. It is also relevant from the sentimentalism perspective. The Venus glyph is composed by the circle of spirit and the cross of matter.

Element: Earth. This is an element for the dignified and polite individuals born under the May 1 zodiac. It allows fire and water to model it while it incorporates air.

Lucky day: Friday. Under the governing of Venus, this day symbolizes allure and sympathy. It is suggestive for the Taurus natives who are friendly .

 Lucky numbers: 7, 8, 13, 15, 26.

 Motto: “I own!”

People born on May 1 have certain and assiduous temperaments and they often choose to be accommodating and wait for a certain result rather than force things out. They are the ones who know how to appreciate refinement and the mushy value of even material holdings. They dislike getting into any heated controversies but they are rapid to show how bull headed they are when they consider something is relevant enough as to be worth the fight. They can be very polite and accepting but only with those who gain their scrutiny and respect.

Positive Traits: These natives are affectionate and loyal and seem to approach all life matters in a sensible manner. They are highly dependable and always try to respect their promises and finish whatever they said they would, regardless of the hardships they might meet along the way. They are hardworking and loyal and anyone can depend on them as long as there is a relationship of mutual respect instilled in between.

Negative Traits: These natives find it hard to make decisions sometimes and are prone to laziness as they tend to avoid some obstacles and even let them pile up. Of course it is better for them that they deal with them later than never, but they would avoid a lot of effects if they were to pay more scrutiny. They often find escape routes by coming with easy explanation and rapid fixes but they are also spiteful if others critique their results. They need to begin seeing beyond personal gain in order to grow up spiritually.

Love and Compatibility: Lovers born on May 1 are passionate and committed. They are rather affectionate and stable rather than adventurous and they prefer to settle for a serious relationship rather than date many people. They are attracted to creative and fun people whom can keep their interest alive and with whom they can spoil and protect. You can conquer the heart of Taurus if you are all eyes on them but also maintain your individuality and degree of independence. This single native is not making a drama out of his single status but even enjoys time alone and enters a relationship only when is prepared to.

They believe in love at first sight and don’t need much time to get attached to someone. They either like someone the moment they get in touch with him or her or they don’t. They are persons of extremes in love and sometimes this attitude will make them prone to disappointment. They are likely to fall in love at a young age as they are attractive and positive persons. Regarding their family life they will marry when they are completely ready and they will probably be a cool parent if they choose to have a one big family. They are most compatible with those born on 4th, 6th, 8th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, and 31st.

May 1 Zodiac people are most attracted to the other earth signs: Virgo and Capricorn as they tend to share the same vision of life. In love, Taurus is permanently seeking for an unpredictable companion who can keep his interest alive and the best to offer them this is the native born under Scorpio. The lover in Taurus is said to be least compatible with Aries. As for the rest of partnerships between the other star signs and Taurus, you know what they say, stars predispose but people dispose.

Lucky Color: Green is the color for Taurus zodiac.

Soothing green symbolizes growth and renewal. This hue is placed in great harmony with the moments of calm and shyness of Taurus and this is exactly what they need, a relaxing but energizing color. The power color can be used in things around, from clothes, decorations to even the color of your vehicle.

Happy Beltane to Our Northern Hemisphere WOTC Family! A Thought for Today

Beltane – Spring is Here! Time to Get Your Gardens Ready

Welcome to springtime in the southern hemisphere. As the warmer weather comes a witches thoughts turns to sowing a garden. A garden can mean a different thing to each of us. For me it is getting my physical seeds ready for my veggie garden, to check to see if my herbs survived the winter or if I need to start new ones. Spiritually it means starting new seeds/paths for me to be able to grow to be closer to Mother Earth, the Universal energies, my students, and my teachers. To be able in the fall to reap full benefits of all that I have learned and put them into practice whether it is in my own personal life or helping my students with something. This year I need to plant new seeds and seedlings for all my flower gardens because early heavy rains in this part of the country washed away two inches of top soil in all my flower beds.

What does planting a garden mean to you? Do you plant flowers, vegetables, herbs, goals or a little of all of these or any combination? Remember whatever you plant will come to fruition with the right amount of love, watering (spiritually this can be communicating with each other in the pagan community or even be emailing me to say hi), sunshine (remember to thank the Sun God) and nurturing from within yourself (positive thoughts and affirmations) and from others in our community.

I would really LOVE to SEE COMMENTS on this post, please. Share with us your seeds and lets us help you grow them to their fullest potential!

If you weren’t already eager to get outside and soak up everything Mother Nature has to offer, May has a multitude of holidays that will encourage you to appreciate the beauty of late spring.

May is National Wildflower Month, so it’s the perfect time to go on a nature walk in your area. Browse local greenery on Public Gardens Day, or relax at home with National Garden Meditation Day.

Additionally, May has several holidays that focus on mental health, including National Anxiety Disorders Screening Day, National Mental Health Provider Appreciation Day, and National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day.

Take a step back from the rat race and enjoy World Meditation Day, or release some energy while running around on National Play Outside Day.

Some of the Witchcraft/Magickal Correspondences and More for Beltane

THREE RITUALS FOR BELTANE

Beltane is a cross-quarter holiday on the Wheel of the Year that honors the return of summer, the return of the fertility of the Earth, and the element of fire. It’s a nature-based holiday that many of our ancestors celebrated for a long time, and now we get to carry that tradition forward.

Like Samhain, Beltane is a time when the veil is thin. This holiday is a particularly beautiful time to connect with nature spirits, as well as any other beings you’re wanting to create a connection with.

At Beltane, we honor the goddess as part of us. We honor the body, pleasure, sensuality, and sexuality. We bask in the fiery energy of the sun and the fertile energy that’s present.

In this blog, I’m sharing three rituals and suggested tools for Beltane that you can work with to honor this sacred holiday. Keep scrolling to watch a video and read more!
