Rune of Movement

This is a rune that means good and bad just depending. Connected to the deep mystery’s of life that we at times can get into a stillness and if we don’t awaken from that stillness the waves of the water will imprison us and trap us in our own sabotage. But if we let the waves carry us along its own current we can find the deep answers to the mysteries we seek.

Ogham

From symbolsage.com

Beith/Beth

The first letter of the ogham tree alphabet, Beith stands for birch, and corresponds to the letter B. Also called Beth, it represents new beginnings, change, and rebirth. In Celtic legend, the first ogham ever written was Beith, which served as a warning and protective talisman of the god Ogma.

Its symbolism is derived from the birch, a pioneer tree that first repopulated the region after the Ice Age. The symbol has strong associations with spring and the Beltane festival, being the chosen tree for the maypole and the fuel for the Beltane fires. The birch is also associated with Bloddeuwedd, the Welsh goddess of flowers and springtime.

Symbolically, Beith protects one against all harm, physical and spiritual. The birch is also known as the white tree, associating it with purity, and is used for purification and removing bad luck.

Hexagram Sixty – Two/62

Hsiao Kuo / Lying Low

Thunder high on the Mountain, active passivity:
The Superior Person is unsurpassed in his ability to remain small.
In a time for humility, he is supremely modest.
In a time of mourning, he uplifts with somber reverence.
In a time of want, he is resourcefully frugal.

When a bird flies too high, its song is lost.
Rather than push upward now, it is best to remain below.
This will bring surprising good fortune, if you keep to your course.

SITUATION ANALYSIS:

There is no profit to striving here.
To be content with oneself is the greatest success imaginable.
The enlightened person has nothing to prove to himself or others, and thus may always operate from a position of sincerity, with no pretense or posturing.
His humility is guileless simplicity.
His mourning is selfless compassion.
His frugality is an unshakeable faith that he is but a conduit, letting what is needed flow through him to others, with no loss to himself.

Ur

Intimacy, gentleness, sweetness, kindness, positivity, partnership

Tree: Heather (Erica spp., Calluna spp.)

Letter: U

Ur speaks of deep relationships, family, mates, and close friendships in both the biological family and non-biological family sense. It is nearly impossible to survive as a true hermit. As much as it can seem desirable at times to cut oneself off from the rest of society, the truth is we are stronger together. One of the immeasurable benefits of a light touch — letting go of small grievances, avoiding childish selfishness, and not letting irritability get the upper hand — is deep and lasting relationships. When you want something, chances are coaxing rather than forcing will get you the result you want… just like the old saying “you win more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.” Depending on your personality or mood, sweetness may seem counterintuitive. This Ogham suggests perhaps sweetness/gentleness is the best policy.

Nature is often fantastically cruel but she is also a protector and nurturer. Ur is her nurturing side. Ur teaches the beauty of the long cycle and of the flow that often goes unnoticed by busy, modern people. True kindness improves everything around you. Just as a single common plantain has an important role to play in a many-acred meadow, your small act of graciousness will reverberate and help you to evolve into an improved version of yourself. Don’t underestimate a single time where you checked your temper or did the right thing when you were tempted to do the opposite. Everything you do matters. Everything you do is part of the flow. You are indeed being watched, if only by a more enlightened version of yourself who knows better.

Hexagram Fifty – Seven/57

Sun / The Penetrating Wind

Wind follows upon wind, wandering the earth, penetrating gently but persistently:
The Superior Person expands his influence by reaffirming his decisions and carrying out his promises.

Small, persistent, focused effort brings success.
Seek advice from someone you respect.

SITUATION ANALYSIS:

Gentle persuasion is the key in this instance.
Though the words are soft, their speaker must be firm, calm and confident.
Gentle words are worthless if spoken with trepidation.
Wordless influence by example is also effective in this situation.
All persuasion should be almost unfelt, yet consistent and persistent.
Ask for feedback from someone you know to be an effective persuader.

6 of Cups – Minor Arcana

Reunions; unexpected gifts

A little boy and girl are smiling and hugging to large Water dragons, who rise out of a pond. The children symbolize the natural psychic connections all humans possess before they are taught such a thing is false. They are freely communicating with astral creatures because it is the normal thing to do. On the flower and tree-covered banks stand six chalices. The flowers and trees represent the constant renewal of life., fed by the waters of the lake (emotional purity and balance). Tiny dragons flutter happily around the children, symbols of the potential power of even the tiniest pieces of cosmic energy. The six chalices represent the power of building in all its connotations; building of relationships, healing power, and bridges between people and/or species. By acknowledging this power of building, we acknowledge the interconnectedness of all things, animate and inanimate.

Divinatory Meaning: A reunion with old friends may be near. New opportunities present themselves; be ready to act on them. Unexpected gifts may Suprise you.

Panda

Create a sacred space for yourself in your home and/or place of work.

A sacred space is an area in your home or workplace where you can have some privacy for contemplation, meditation, or simply a bit of quite time to think. If this isn’t possible to do at work, it becomes even more imperative that you provide this for yourself in your home. This is a space that is your territory, whether it is an entire room or a corner of your living room or bedroom. Place a cozy chair or pillow there, and set up a simple altar, one that contains a few pieces that are both personal and precious. Include a candle in your space that you can light when you are abiding there. Make your sacred space a comfortable place to hang out, with no agenda or compulsion to do anything. As Buddha said, “Don’t just do something, sit there!”

You may find all sorts of reasons or excuses not to do this, but don’t cave in to these internal objections. Make it important enough for your emotional and mental health and balance to create this kind of private sanctuary. Be sure to do nothing in particular for a good period of time while you’re there. The increasingly rapid pace of life and growing intensities in the world are even greater cause for doing so. It’s a place for solace, one where you can more closely listen to your inner voice and feelings, and tap into the Life Force inside that’s expressing itself to you.

Duir or Dair

Pronunciation – Doo-r

Tree Association – oak

Meaning – Strength, security, resilience, endurance, wisdom, sacred spaces, leadership, and kindness. All your hard work and education have paid off. Like the oak, you stand tall and mighty. You are in a beneficial situation (family, work, financially, creative, relationship, etc.), and this circumstance will stay that way for quite a while. Trust yourself! Also, oak represents the intense energy and power of storms and wind. Symbolic of the endurance and stamina you possess that allows you to flourish and thrive.

If reversed – cowardly, uncertain, or frail. You have not been acting kindly or fairly in your leadership role. It’s ok to lack knowledge and facts, but do not make it a common practice.

Inscription and Magical Uses – Inscribe this ogham on an acorn for good luck in job interviews, courage, or pursuing justice. Duir is an excellent ogham inscription to keep at work. Helpful when working when storms, lightning, or the element air. It can also be used in healing or for those who need reminders of their resilience, profound strength, and tenacity.

I Ching

I Ching Hexagram: 4/Four

Name: Meng.

Keyphrase: Youthful Folly.

Formed By The Trigrams: Mountain over Water.

General: Patience and kindness are the keys to learning and teaching.

Love: Let go of any childhood traumas you have about relationships.

Business: Being thoughtful will help strengthen new business ideas or procedures.

Personal: Remember the pleasure of childhood and youth and imitate it. You may need to release any bad habits from that time.

Overview: Meng builds on the theme of inexperience seen in hexagram 3 (Chun). It suggests that youth (like the flowing stream) has a long way to go before it becomes a mighty river. Meng is about teaching, learning and knowledge. Ignorance should not be punished, rather it should be replaced with knowledge. When the learning is fun the student will learn more. It is a reminder that a teacher should also be a mentor, setting the scene for the way the student will behave in adulthood.

Four

Positive qualities

The positive qualities of the Four could be described as purely men’s virtues if thousands of women didn’t have them. This is high endurance, exceptional working ability, personal organization, commitment to principles and equanimity. You are firm in your beliefs, most important of which is that nothing in this world comes for free, and any reward is to be deserved.

That’s why people of your kind are the foundation of any society. They know what to do and can implement it in practice. There is nothing heroic in your manifestations, but all your life is a feat. As a consequence, only few admire you, but everyone respects you.

Negative qualities

When someone wants to point out the Four’s weakness, they first mention their stubbornness, slowness and tediousness. From a certain point of view, so it is: you always take your time not to make mistakes, and you’ll hold your ground up to the end without losing a chance to rub your opponent’s nose in their errors.

Moreover, you never hide your skeptical attitude towards rattle heads, shallow and irresponsible people. Therefore, you are often accused of being too suspicious, and your zero-tolerance of idleness and unwillingness to waste time on idle pleasures gives others a reason to consider you sullen and hard-grained.

Quiert

Delight, respite, celebration

Tree: Apple (Malus spp.)

Letter: Q

The apple is an ancient symbol of bounty, harmony, and completion. True to symbolism, Quiert indicates a time of well-deserved rest, or at least that you deserve rest even if you are unable to have enough of it. Constant activity goes against the flow of nature. Our society, which seeks to progress at an ever-faster pace until the human race metastasizes across the universe, has got it all wrong. Slowing down is the appropriate action in many cases, for instance after a period of activity or at the culmination of a big project.

There is great delight in the smallest periods of rest, whether that means taking the time to thank the person at the restaurant for making your sandwich (just because you paid for it with money does not mean verbal gratitude goes unappreciated) or to give a firm, polite “no” when someone deliberately or unwittingly threatens your peace of mind by asking too much of you. Quiert speaks of the sweetness of small human gestures and petite graces. Without them, civilization wouldn’t be quite so civilized, nor would it be as worthy of holding together.

Quiert might also indicate a longer resting/healing time for you or for someone else, or that rest is needed. Quiert says, “Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses. Observe. Live in the moment instead of always planning for the perfect future or reliving the past.” It is a marker of gratitude in general, and the slowness required to fully sense the world around us.

Death – Major Arcana

Work: In a Tarot spread, Death often represents an important end to lead to great changes. Usually, the things you need to let go of are your beliefs and limitations. You may hate your job or be under pressure, but you do not want to quit because your income is stable. But eventually, you will be forced to sign the resignation form. Of course, this will lead you to “better things”, but why don’t you choose to leave yourself? You will be able to get good benefits from this.

Sentiments: If you are clinging to an unhappy relationship just because you do not want to lose the feeling of being familiar or you hate to be alone, then it is time to think about everything. You and your lover need a frank conversation. If things do not change, it is time to end. You are brave enough to leave the safety circle and find a much better relationship. But first, you have to face the problem and try to solve it. Do not bang your head against the wall for too long

Finance: You may have to sacrifice a bit to face the upcoming financial difficulties. Do not hesitate to ask for help if necessary. In addition, do not endure everything by yourself. If your money decreases dramatically, do not avoid that. You should identify the problems correctly and then resolve them slowly. Finally, you will gain more financial experience thanks to this lesson.

Health: Stress control is a way to maintain good health during this period. Let’s solve all physical problems and do not avoid them. You should get enough rest and do not poison yourself with alcohol. If you need to relax, you should pay attention to both the physical and mental aspects.

Duir

Gifts, doorways, standing on the shoulders of giants, luck

Tree: Oak (Quercus spp.)

Letter: D

There isn’t a bad side to Duir, even when ill-dignified. Maybe it is because the mighty Oak is king of all trees and therefore king of the Ogham. Drawing Duir means that you will receive, are receiving, or have received a gift. The gift can come in unexpected forms — it could be as simple as a thought or it may be, in rarest of cases, an actual physical gift. Understanding Duir does take the prerequisite ability to appreciate gifts. The modern world is cursed with entire classes of people who take luxuries for granted and for whom gratitude is an untenable concept. Those people cannot be helped by any force other than glacial procession of time and the unimaginable powers that shape it.

Duir’s influence is like a good father or wise old grandpa: generous, kind, wise, full of knowledge and happy to share it, protective, and nurturing. He is a living library. He acts as a guide, creator, and ruler.

Animal Spirit Guide or Helper

Today’s Animal Spirt Guide card comes from Messages from Your Animal Spirit Guides Oracle Cards by Steven D. Farmer

Grouse

“Express yourself through rhythm and movement by drumming and dancing.”

Your first experience of life in a physical body was rhythm and movement: the vibrations of your mother’s heartbeat and her voice, the pulsing of her breathing, and the fluid movement of the placental sea the enveloped you. You would flow with the harmony — or disharmony — of her moods and movements. If you’ve ever tried drumming (or any percussion), dancing or the two together, you they touch something very deep  and ancient in us — something tribal, a deep chord of being where spirit and body coincide.

Rhythm and movement draw out sensual expression and merge with the sensuous world around you. By allowing yourself to surrender to the pulse of whatever rhythm is guiding you, you connect more completely to your body. When you engage in some form of rhythmic dance on a regular basis, you’ll feel more relaxed and in the flow of life. Doing so can re-create and tap into the sensations you felt in the womb, revisiting that place of no thought, where movement moves you effortlessly. So cut loose and enjoy yourself! You have nothing lose but everything to gain.

ASSOCIATIONS: Movement; Dancing; Drumming; Sacred Spiral; Completion; Fulfillment; Intuition; Enlightenment; Rhythm; Personal Power; Flow; Vision; Creativity; Healing

7 of Swords – Minor Arcana

Bad Feelings; snooping

A man is carrying away seven swords from an open chest just behind him. The lock on the chest is broken, so he is stealing what is not his. On a shelf above the chest, two tiny Fire dragons are screaming in anger. The little dragons try to warn him, but he refuses to listen. The thief has forced open the perilous box of universal, magickal knowledge within his subconscious mind and thinks to steal away with the power (swords) he found within. Only an initiate, who has studied and brought balance to all areas of his life, is given the key to open this perilous chest of wisdom and power. The thief has found a shortcut to gain what he wants without the work or dedication. He believes he is above the Law and will not suffer karmic consequences. However, he is wrong, for the Law will always be balanced, regardless of human desires to the contrary.

Divination Meaning: You are creating trouble through the wrong use of personal power. Failure of a plan may come about because of wrong motives. Do not snoop into the affairs of another; you will get burned. You feel cheated or wronged.

Ruis

Regret, pride, shame, embarrassment, learning from experience, resolution

Tree: Elder (Sambucus spp.)

Letter: R

Shame isn’t all bad and does not deserve a uniformly awful reputation. Without shame and the fear of being shamed, every human child would be demonically bratty. Shame is a limit that informs us to keep our own ego in check. It is often about considering others. Having shame about one’s own past behavior is motivation to avoid shameful behaviors such as cheating and stealing.

Shame is an emotion that demands confrontation. All too often, people run away from what shames them, attempt to excuse themselves from wrongful or immoral behavior because they’re too cowardly to face what they have done or to admit their responsibility in causing their own misfortunes or the misfortune of others. Ruis indicates a willingness to face one’s own shame and to do with shame what it was meant for, and that is to use shame of the past to build oneself into a better person for the present and future. Ashamed of something you did? How can you make yourself into the type of person who would never even think of doing something like that? Overcome being the type of person who would engage in the shameful behavior and you become the master of it; you won’t have the remotest chance of repeating such a mistake. Did you become embarrassed because you did something you now understand to be greedy? Then learn to balance thriftiness with generosity. Adjust to the circumstance rather than overreacting to it. Are you ashamed about cheating on a boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse? Become a person who would never cheat on your boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse regardless of conditions, which could mean an assortment of outcomes: sticking to a resolution of no cheating and staying together, admitting one’s sexual preferences and going with the flow, changing the person you are with, or being single for a long time.

Because humans tend to remember negative experiences more easily than positive ones, it’s important when you draw Ruis to acknowledge the things you are not ashamed of about yourself. For every bad or shameful thing you’ve done, remember there are a thousand shameful things you avoided. Maybe it is time to appreciate the places you could have gone horribly wrong and did not.

Three of Rainbows

The Explanation of Three of Rainbows Osho Zen Tarot

The angelic figure with rainbow-colored wings on this card represents the guide that each of us carries within. As the second figure in the background, we may sometimes be a little reluctant to trust this guide when it comes to us because we have a habit of believing signs from the outside rather than from the inside.

The truth from the very deep self indicates where we should go, and when Three of Rainbows Osho Zen appears, it means you can trust the guidance from the inside you are given. His words are a whisper, and sometimes we hesitate, not knowing if we have the right understanding. But the signs are clear; following the instructions from within you will feel more complete, more integrated as if you move away from a very central place of being. If you go with it, the light beam will bring you exactly where you need to go.

The Energy of Three of Rainbows Osho Zen Tarot Based on Osho’s Teachings

You have to look for guidance because you don’t know your inner guide is hidden inside you. You have to find the inner guide, and that’s what I call your witness. That’s what I call your dharma, that’s what I call your intrinsic buddha. You have to awaken that buddha and your life will shower blessings, benediction.

Your life will become so radiant with good, with godliness, more than you can possibly conceive. It is almost like light. Your room is dark, just bring light in. Even a small candle will do, and the whole darkness disappears. And once you have a candle you know where the door is. You don’t have to think about it: “Where is the door?” Only blind people think about where the door is. People who have eyes and the light is there, they don’t think. Have you ever thought, “Where is the door?”

You simply get up and go out. You never give a single thought to where the door is. You don’t start groping for the door or hitting your head against the wall. You simply see, and there is not even a flicker of thought. You simply go out.

Mor

Tree: Witch hazel (Hamamelis spp.)

Letter: X

Sea change” is a term for profound or holistic change. Change is the foundation of existence. The interplay of opposing forces creates and destroys ad infinitum. Mor bookends the concept of change introduced by the first Ogham, Beith. The intention that sowed an action reaped a habit, the habit reaped a character, and the character reaped a destiny. The new track in space has been laid and change is inevitable.

When you draw Mor, look for the changes in and around you. These are not necessarily good or bad. Often, drawing this Ogham can mean something as basic as “oh look, the season of Spring is arriving”. Mor doesn’t have to indicate any kind of drama, although it could. Mor calls out to you to look at overarching influences, new factors or people, and to examine the permutations and possibilities of how they affect the environment.

Mor is a bird’s eye view of opposing forces in our lives rather than being upswept by the random forces that weave in and…

Kuai / Breakthrough

A Deluge from Heaven:
The Superior Person rains fortune upon those in need, then moves on with no thought of the good he does.

The issue must be raised before an impartial authority.
Be sincere and earnest, despite the danger.
Do not try to force the outcome, but seek support where needed.
Set a clear goal.

SITUATION ANALYSIS:

Your iron will must come to the forefront now.
It will take great personal determination to resolve the situation in question.
Your adversary would love to force you into an angry display.
That would legitimize his opposition to you.
Such a berserker rage would drag you down to his level.
You must resolutely take a public stand against what he represents, but refuse to engage him.

Without compromise, you show others the way to higher ground.

One

What is the definition of 1 in Numerology?

There’s so much motivation and momentum surrounding this single-digit number. It is a true pioneer, eager to break ground on new endeavors and pave the way for others to follow. It is a natural leader and a proactive force. The number 1 represents newness, movement, and the possibilities that await us. In spiritual symbolism, it is the number of creation and the birth of all things — the divine origin of the universe.

In Numerology the number 1 is the root of opportunity in our lives. It is a symbol of confidence, power, and action. It pushes us to look at our current circumstances and realize that we have the power to turn them into anything we wish. Even if we are afraid, the 1 inspires us to take control of our future and embrace new beginnings.

Strengths of the number 1

Independent: Of all the numbers in Numerology, the 1 is the most self-sufficient, needing nothing but itself and its energy to thrive. It doesn’t sit around waiting for opportunities to come about, it makes its own luck by capitalizing on circumstances others may be afraid to explore. The single-digit number 1 doesn’t want to waste any time getting stuck negotiating or discussing plans. Going it alone allows for greater flexibility and quick, efficient movement.

Goal-oriented: With a positive outlook and unwavering self-determination, this number excels at setting and going after its goals. It has a hard time standing still because it sees a world packed with possibilities just waiting to be taken advantage of. It’s not that the number 1 can’t be satisfied, rather, its satisfaction comes from staying active and always progressing. In a few words: Why stand still when you could advance?

Innovative: Roadblocks don’t exist for the strong-willed 1 — not because they don’t arise, but because this number’s innovative mindset can find new ideas and creative solutions to work around them. Instead of being daunted by obstacles, the 1 looks at them as a challenge that must be (and will be) overcome. Seeing a door where others see a wall is a major asset to the 1’s success.

Weaknesses of the number 1

Forceful: While this number can come across as ambitious, its stop-at-nothing attitude can also make it seem uncaring or domineering as it pushes its way forward. More physical than spiritual, it doesn’t need anyone else’s help and is too focused on its own pursuits to even realize when it’s made an offense. Softer energies of cooperation and patience get shoved aside in the interest of movement and progress.

Risky: The number 1 would call itself fearless, but a lack of foresight can all-too-easily lead it into trouble that could have been avoided. Tunnel vision and an extreme sense of invincibility makes the 1 so focused on the path before it that it can miss the warning signs in its peripheral vision.

Doubtful: With such an extreme drive to accomplish and succeed, self-doubt is this number’s Achilles heel. Though it won’t show it on the outside, the number 1 harbors a deep fear of making mistakes or coming up short of its goal. It takes even minor criticism to heart but will ultimately use it as motivation to improve.

Four of Water

The explanation of Four of Water Osho Zen Tarot

The woman in Four of Water Osho Zen Tarot is showing a soft smile on her face. In fact, she was just observing what the mind was doing; not judging, not trying to stop nor analyzing them. She only saw them as passersby, like a ripple on the lake. And the antics of the mind are always hilarious, they keep jumping up and down, twisting in many ways, trying to attract attention and entice us into the game.

Being able to develop abilities in creating a distance from the mind is one of the great favors. Those are the things we do when we meditate, chant, or repeat an affirmation, but we only look at it, as if they belong to someone else’s mind. Right now, you are ready to create this distance, to watch the show without getting caught up in the drama. Let’s immerse yourself in the simple freedom of Turning In whenever possible and knack of meditation will develop and deepen in you.

The energy of Four of Water Osho Zen Tarot based on Osho’s teachings

Turning inwards is not a turning at all. Going inwards is not a going at all. Turning inwards simply means that you have been running after this desire and that, and you have been running and running and you have been coming again and again to frustration.

That each desire brings misery, that there is no fulfillment through desire. That you never reach anywhere, that contentment is impossible.

Seeing this truth, that running after desires takes you nowhere, you stop. Not that you make any effort to stop. If you make any effort to stop it is again running, in a subtle way. You are still desiring–maybe now it is desirelessness that you desire. If you are making an effort to go in, you are still going out. Any effort can only take you out, outwards.

All journeys are outward journeys, there is no inward journey. How can you journey inwards? You are already there, there is no point in going. When going stops, journeying disappears; when desiring is no more clouding your mind, you are in. This is called turning in. But it is not a turning at all, it is simply not going out.

Questions when you draw Quiert:

-What is the status of my physical health right now? What do I need to maintain my health?
-What is the funniest thing that happened today?
-What are three small ways I can show my gratitude, even if I only show it to myself?

Quiert ill-dignified excess: Take a break, or else
You need to let yourself rest because you are close to a breaking point. Your body or mind may force the issue and make you sick or depressed if you can’t stop the punishing routines you are perhaps feeling trapped in. It’s all too common to burn out — once again, we have an insane society that insists we are not well-adjusted unless we run at full speed until we feel like dying. Another factor that may add to the punishment/overwork is fear — fear of losing economic security, a job, a reputation. Still, as much as you feel you can’t stop, you’re almost burnt out.

Quiert ill-dignified dearth: “I’m bored.”
To those who believe there’s nothing to do in this life: you would be gravely wrong. Even the least of us with the most disadvantages has missions to accomplish and roles to fulfill. If you have the luxury of not seeking something to do with your time, you will have simply shirked your to do list to endless incarnations of worsening circumstances until you learn once and for all how not to be bored. Get to work: learn a practical skill, help someone out, find a way to be the change you want to see in the world, no matter how small. Those who say “I’m bored” often turn to escapism in addictive forms, so this could be a warning about potential addictions. Another thing the perpetually bored like to do is to saddle others with the responsibility for keeping them entertained (they often have mommy/daddy issues because it is their own parents who spoiled them in the first place). Other people are not put here to help you escape your life. In many cases, the statement “I’m bored” should be replaced with “I’m lazy.”

Ogham

From druidogham.wordpress.com

Uilleand

Generosity, discretion, beauty, subtlety, the occult, perception of abundance

Tree: Honeysuckle (Lonicera spp.)

Letter: P

The Ogham itself is like a bunch of ZIP files waiting to reveal itself to the patient and the thoughtful. Learning the secrets of magic is not a matter of coercion but instead a dedicated pursuit of perceiving subtle meanings and gently working with natural forces. The occult, as much as some people may want to imbue it with paranoid, ghastly images of blood sacrifice, merely means “the hidden”, meaning that which is not obvious and must be gleaned, sussed out, and pored over in order to understand.

Whether you are an occultist or not, it’s a good life strategy simply not to talk about every one of your inner thoughts and to censor yourself depending on who you are with. Some of your secrets never need to be known by anyone besides you, and that is OK. Honesty is often NOT the best policy, except with yourself when assessing your flaws and strengths.

As this Ogham connects with honeysuckle, it also ties in with the concept of generosity and the perception of abundance. The honeysuckle’s graceful, arching habit and profusion of sweetly-scented flowers provides nectar and shelter for many bugs and small animals.

Generosity is in no way the exclusive trait of the rich; in fact, the poor are notably more generous than the rich. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, people in the bottom 20 percent tend to give more than their capacity to give while Americans in the top 40 percent are capable of donating two or three times more than they actually give. Perhaps this is because the poorer you are, the more likely you are to have empathy you have for those who equally poor or poorer than you. Or perhaps this is because poor people are likely to appreciate the small abundances they have instead of hoarding and jealously standing in constant, miserable guard of their wealth like certain types of rich people. The elites at the pinnacle of modern monetary wealth are latter-day ogres: monsters who skulk in caves full of stolen gold coins, plundered weapons, and blood-crusted jewels. The perception of plenty often is one and the same as plenty, which is why having “lots of toys” has never been the path to happiness. Abundance has to come from somewhere, and one of the reasons some rich people are so unhappy and mentally disturbed these days is because many have spent lifetimes denying their own privilege while hoarding wealth that came from unfair consequences offloaded on those poorer than them and the ecosystem itself. Such “abundance” has a hefty karmic price, and it is as if the modern day rich ogres sense this and it quietly drives them mad.

The secret here is that generosity is a form of living by the golden rule. Give without fear and worry and you will always feel contented. Conversely, clinging greedily to material abundance and status symbols out of fear of not having enough ensures you will never feel you have enough, no matter how rich you become. Uilleand tells you to spread your generosity and to send your wealth back into the flow of nature. Give whatever you can. You’ll always have just enough. Uilleand is the perception of plenty: be generous with what you have and like will attract like.

Questions when you draw Uilleand:
-What does abundance mean to you? Take a snapshot of your life right now: do you think you have enough wealth to be happy?
-When was the last time you gave to someone less fortunate than you? How much did you sacrifice?
-Think of a time when you shared a secret and someone used it to betray or hurt you. What would you do differently if you had to relive that event? How will you act if and when you are presented with a similar situation in the future?

Six

What is the definition of 6 in Numerology?

The number 6 is the embodiment of the heart. It represents unconditional love and the ability to support, nurture, and heal. It is a powerful force of compassion and empathy and its warm light is a beacon of hope. Its role is to use its heart and soul to be of service to others.

The 6 in Numerology shines in partnerships of all kinds but especially emotional ones. Its empathy makes others comfortable letting down their guard and being open and honest about their feelings which, in turn, allows it to understand and provide the help that’s needed. We could all use someone in our life who manifests the devoted energy of the 6.

Strengths of the number 6

Supportive: When a shoulder is needed to lean on, the number 6 will be the first to arrive, equipped with a kind, soft presence and heartfelt advice. It does not simply wait to speak — it truly listens and seeks to understand so it can direct its compassion and healing where it is needed most.

Protective: The unconditional love of the 6 extends to all beings and allows it to speak up for those that don’t have a voice. But this protection becomes especially fierce when it comes to family. Anything that threatens to upset the emotional or spiritual balance of its loved ones will awaken the ire of the 6.

Romantic: The 6 is more romantic than any other number. It works hard to create peaceful, mutual relationships and is fluent in all the love languages. The number 6 is only happy when its other half is happy, so it will direct all its time, support, and affection into making this so.

Weaknesses of the number 6

Passive: In an effort to please others and keep the peace, the number 6 may allow itself to get taken advantage of often. More assertive, controlling energies can easily overpower the 6 who would rather go along with an undesirable option than speak up and make waves.

Self-sacrificing: While its compassion is a virtue, the number 6 is so willing to sacrifice itself for other people and the sake of harmony that it neglects its own needs and well-being. There is only so much one can give and this number often overlooks the self-care that would make it feel balanced. As they say, you can’t pour from an empty cup.

Idealistic: The 6 expects everyone to treat others the way it does which, in its mind, would lead to a perfect world. But that’s not the way the real world works, and when this number realizes its ideals are unattainable it may face extreme upset and imbalance.

The angels are available round the clock to guide you.

The best part about angel number 630 is the fact that your angels will take care of your material and financial needs. Hence, you won’t need to worry about financial troubles when pursuing your spiritual goals.

Angel number 630 is also a message from the angels and divine guides asking you to use your gifts and talents for the benefit of others. The easiest way you can help yourself is by uplifting the lives of others because, as the saying goes, “the more your give, the more you receive.”

It is asking us to adapt to whatever conditions life puts us in, and teaches us to believe in our ability to survive and overcome any obstacle we come across.

When to call on Turkey Vulture?

You should call on Turkey Vulture as your spirit animal when:

You need to adapt to some circumstances or some changes;

You need to make the most of the resources you have;

You need to protect yourself and the ones that are close to you;

You need to find peace in your life;

You need to be patient in some situation;

PERTH

Initiation, Something Concealed, A Secret Thing

Deep, inner trans formative powers are interacting, but what you are going to get out of them isn’t easy to recognize.  An integrity – concealed, disguised, secretly hidden.  After all, what is going to heal us and our soul is a deep mystery.  On the side of the material world there probably will be surprises; unexpected profits are nothing to be excluded.  Nothing less than a renewal your spirit is the risk you take.  The old way found its end:  You simply cannot repeat the old things any longer without suffering.  However, you always have a chance:  Either you see all negative as a “misfortune”, or you recognize the entire as a hindrance stretch, an inaugural way that you have to follow at this moment.

Coll

C, sometimes read as K, is Coll, which is the Hazel tree. August is known as the Hazel Moon, because this is when Hazel nuts appear on the trees–the world Coll translates to “the life force inside you”, and what better symbol of life than the nut itself? Hazel is associated with wisdom and creativity and knowledge. Sometimes it is connected in Celtic lore with magical springs, sacred wells, and divination.

Hazel was a handy tree to have around. It was used by many English pilgrims to make staffs for use upon the road–not only was it a sturdy walking stick, it also provided a modicum of self-defense for weary travelers. Certainly, it could have been used as well for ritual. Hazel was used in weaving of baskets by medieval folk, and the leaves were fed to cattle because it was believed this would increase the cow’s supply of milk.

In the Irish myth cycles, there is a tale that nine hazel nuts dropped into a sacred pool. A salmon came along in the pool and gobbled up the nuts, which then imbued him with wisdom. A variation of the story appears in the legend of Finn Mac Cumhail, who ate the salmon and then took on the knowledge and wisdom of the fish. Note that Mac Cumhail is often translated as Mac Coll.

GENERAL

Six of Cups – Minor Arcana

Reunions; unexpect gifts.

A little boy and girl are smiling and hugging two large Water dragons, who rise out of a pond. The children symbolize the natural psychic connection all humans possess before they are taught such a thing is false. They are freely communicating with astral creatures because it is a normal thing to do. On the flower and tree-covered banks stand six chalice. The flowers and trees represent constant renewal of life, fed by the waters of the lake (emotional purity and balance). Tiny dragons flutter happily around the children, symbols of the potential power of even the tiniest pieces of cosmic energy. The six chalice represent the power of building in all its connotations; building of relationships, healing power, and bridges between people and/or species. By acknowledging this power of building, we we acknowledge the interconnectedness of all things, animate and inanimate.

Divinatory Meaning: A reunion with old friends may be near. New opportunities present themselves; be ready to act on them. Unexpected gifts may surprise you.

LOVE

The Lovers – Major Arcana

Am emotional decision.

A Forest dragon stands on the bank of a lake, its neck outstretched to touch noses with a beautiful Water dragon that rises from the waters. The gaze at each other in love, unconcerned that their attraction  will prove difficult because of their very different lifestyles. For the moment, they are caught up in the power of their emotions. The Forest dragon represents the liner, analytical left brain and the conscious mind, while the Water dragon represents creativity, spiritually connected right mind and the conscious mind. To achieve success and reach goals, both halves of the brain, as well as the conscious and subconscious minds, must live and work together in harmony in order to reach a spiritual balance point. However, because of the vast differences in perceiving life and spirit, this is extremely difficult to maintain on a constant basis.  Thus, we go through life in a kind of dance, approaching, then retreating from the balance point. The heron, representing generation of life, and the butterfly, symbolizing the soul itself, reveal that we must always be aware of the soul and its need to grow, regardless of our emotional side-paths.

Divinatory Meaning

A romantic encounter may come into your life. You may be faced with an attraction or a temptation that may not be good for you. There will be an attraction of opposites that will be difficult to reconcile in the long run. A difficult choice will arise; make your decision on facts, not the emotions

HEALTH

NINE OF PENTACLES – Minor Arcana

Comfortable Aloneness

A dragon and a man sit along the edge of a forest. It is a sunny day, and many small animals and birds are around the dragon and the man. The man is at one with Nature and his astral teacher, the dragon. The birds are messages from spirit to help him make a decision and find his path in life. The wolves in the background represent the strength, cunning, and wisdom he is learning, while the squirrel of resourcefulness, the rabbit of fertility, and the little mice of self-preservation help him to create a balanced attitude towards life.

DIVINATORY MEANING: You feel comfortable, safe, and at ease with yourself. There will soon be a pleasant period of being alone. A journey

Ambition; leadership.

A regal looking older man sits on a richly craved throne; he wears a crown with small blue stones on the spiky tips. Because the man’s long and dedicated studies, he has earned the title of Master of Air. Chaotic thoughts no longer plague hi,, for he has became disciplined in weeding out, organizing, and bending the power of those thoughts to his concentrated desire and goals. About his shoulders is a white and multiblue mantle (comfort and contentment), with tiny dragon figures as part of the design. On one partially raised hand sits a tiny, dark blue dragon, a small messenger that helps the king to communicate with other realms. The king’s other hand holds a long staff-like wand (willpower) with a crystal tip; its glow shows the purity of his will. A huge dragon peers over the back of the  above the man’s head. This is the kings guardian and advisor, a long-time companion on journeys through other realms of being. Another of his small Guardian dragons lies curled contently at his feet, its sleep revealing the calmness of the atmosphere around this powerful man.

Divinatory Meaning: A masculine influence, who is powerful in the business world, could guide you in an important decision. Ambition and leadership qualities will get you ahead in your career. Beware that haste and ego do not get you in trouble

The Self

Remain modest – that is the right of the oracle.  Be in the world, but not from the world.  Stay receptive to impulses, that come out of the divine in the inner and outer sphere.  Seek  to live the usual life in an unusual manner.

If you take the ‘itself’ rune and cut through it in the middle, you are going to receive the rune of joy and its reflection.  So there is a fine warning not to be careless. The acrobatically dancing energy of the balance is asked here to bring its higher itself.  Nothing in the excess – that was the second request that was to be read at the entrance to the delphish temple.  The first advice read:  Recognize you yourself!

Hexagram Fourty – Eight 48

Ching / The Well

Deep Waters Penetrated and drawn to the surface:
The Superior Person refreshes the people with constant encouragement to help one another.

Encampments, settlements, walled cities, whole empires may rise and fall, yet the Well at the center endures, never drying to dust, never overflowing.
It served those before and will serve those after.
Again and again you may draw from the Well, but if the bucket breaks or the rope is too short there will be misfortune.

SITUATION ANALYSIS:

There is a Source common to us all.
Jung named it the Collective Unconscious.
Others hail it as God within.
Inside each of us are dreamlike symbols and archetypes, emotions and instincts that we share with every other human being.
When we feel a lonely separateness from others, it is not because this Well within has dried up, but because we have lost the means to reach its waters.
You need to reclaim the tools necessary to penetrate to the depths of your fellows.
Then the bonds you build will be as timeless and inexhaustible as the Well that nourishes them.

Fearn or Fern

Fearn represents the Alder, which is often found holding up the banks of a river or creek. Patti Wigington

F is for Fearn or Fern, which is associated with the Alder tree. The Alder is representative of the evolving spirit. Connected with the month of March and the spring equinox, Alder is the symbol of Bran in Celtic mythology. In The Mabinogion, Bran laid himself across a river as a bridge so that others might cross–likewise, the Alder bridges that magical space between earth and the heavens. It is also associated with oracular powers–Bran’s head was an oracle in legend.

Alders are often found in swampy, boggy areas, and conveniently, their wood doesn’t rot when it gets wet. In fact, if left to soak in water, it becomes hardened. This came in handy when early Britons were building strongholds in bogs. The city of Venice, Italy, was originally built upon piles of Alder wood. Once it’s dry, though, Alder tends to be less than durable.

Fearn Correspondences

Mundane Aspects: Keep in mind that you are an individual… but so is everyone else. When you look at someone, see the unusual which makes them themselves–and allow them to see that uniqueness in you. Be a mediator, a bridge, between people who may be having a disagreement.

Magical Aspects: Follow your instinct. Others will turn to you for advice and counsel during spiritual disagreements, and it’s your job to be the mediator and voice of reason.
