Good Blessed Monday Morning To All My Friends & Family!

It is indeed a very Blessed and Good Monday Morning to be here with you today!

I sincerely hope none of you thought we had just ship, lol! We are here still bobbling around in the waters.  One day we will quit bobbling and get our act together, maybe?

But this is a glorious day for many reasons today.  It is the official day we honor Martin Luther King, Jr. It is also the day we celebrate our President starting his second term in office. May our prayers and good wishes go out to him and his family today. He is a good and decent man and he will lead our great country in the right directions. Some of the burdens that fall upon his shoulders, I would shutter to think about. So indeed ask the Goddess to bless him and guide him the next four years.

It is also a glorious day to celebrate being alive. Being in the presence of family and friends would love you and you love them. Life is precious. The Goddess grants us these precious moments we have on this plane. I had an experience over the weekend, I would like to share with you. Perhaps those visiting our site, it might touch your heart and see the Goddess in all Her Love and Glory…..

These past weeks have been very stressful for me as some of you know. It has been one thing right after another. I was tired, fed up and stressed beyond my limit. I had back surgery several years ago. I have a three level fusion in my back. All metal, cages, screws, wires, I am the bionic woman. It was a little bit after they did my surgery, they found out I had a bone chip in my back. It was just there beside my spine. It would move, they finally figured out why it moved. It was because I would get stressed. When you get stressed, your muscles contract and squeeze up into a ball. So I could have surgery again or be put on medication to keep me super relaxed. Last week, the medicine had no effect on my stress point. I awoke Saturday morning with my shoulders, neck and head killing me. My neck was swelled up about the size of two grapefruit. In the middle, I could feel a bulge in my neck. It was the bone fragment sitting right at the base of my skull. My husband immediately took me to the hospital. I was in such pain, I just wanted to die. At the hospital, the doctors took x-rays and saw the sharp bone chip pointed right at my brain. It was determined I had to have immediate surgery. I laid in the emergency room till I couldn’t stand the pain no more. I started praying for the Goddess to end my life. Take me home to the Summerlands and end my pain. All I remember is drifting off to a peaceful sleep. I thought this is it, I am going home, my pain is over.

From that point on, all I remember is drifting, calm all around me, a bright white light. I knew for sure I had pasted on. Peace at last, no more pain. Then in the distance, I could see a Lady. A beautiful Lady, her face was perfect and the word beauty does not describe her. As I drifted closer, I could see Her face more clearly. Her skin was perfect. Her face glowed with Light. I would feel Her Love and Comfort all around me. I could see Her hand gently point down to me. Even Her hand was perfect. I felt the warmth of Her Love and Her Embrace. I knew this Lady was my Almighty Goddess. I could feel Her Divine Love. It was Her. Then I drifted back to my hospital bed. I awoke and there was no pain. I felt my neck, it was normal. I couldn’t believe it. The surgery team came in to take me to surgery. I started screaming, “No, No, you must feel my neck. Please x-ray it again.” The doctor told me if I was moved to much, the chip of bone could go right straight to my neck and I would die instantly. I told him I wasn’t, please x-ray me again. To the disapproval of the doctor, I was x-rayed again. The doctors couldn’t explain it the bone chip was gone. The doctors wanted to know what I had done, what happened. I told them I had been praying to my Goddess to let my pain end and let me die. Apparently She had answered my prayers but not with death but with life.  The doctors saw no reason to keep me after doing a few more test they sent me home.

I have no bone chip in my neck, it simply disappeared. Some might call it a miracle. But I call it my Gracious Mother letting me have a second chance at life. I prayed and prayed so hard to die. She told me very clearly that my work and the WOTC is not done. It is not my time to leave this plane just yet. I have Her work to continue. My Goddess removed the bone chip, renewed my spirit, refreshed my soul and filled me with Her Goodness and Love.

We have work to do for OUR GODDESS IS ALIVE! She is Pure Love and Light. We have a responsibility to Her. To spread Her word and let Her Truth Be Told. I know I have a mission to do and I hope after hearing my story, you will feel the same way. We have work to do, ALL of us, not just me. Let’s join together and let the Goddess’ Truth Be Told throughout the world.

Learning To Walk Alone

Learning To Walk Alone

Author: Mistress Ravenfyre

Requests. Requests. Requests.

Is this all the Gods and Goddesses ever hear? Over and over again they listen to us who worship them tell of our woes, tales of sorrow, our despair. In times of sorrow, stress and loneliness, we reach out for them. Calling their names individually, seeking their guidance. Pouring out our trials and tribulations hoping to be heard. Hoping to have some kind intervention. Will there be a miracle to save us from whatever is going on in our lives that is making us call them in this manner? Are we seeking instant gratification instead of taking the long road ourselves?

Do the Gods and Goddesses ever tire of these requests placed upon their shoulders? When they know that they are unable to intervene even in a small way, do they hang their heads and say a silent prayer for us? Do the thoughts run through their heads that certain people only call upon them when they are in trouble but no other time? Knowing that the reason that there will be no help from them is because these people have to learn to help themselves. Just as we parents must let go of our toddlers, letting them experiment. Using trial and error. They too do the same for us.

I am sure that they do tire of all this. Hearing it from thousands upon thousands, day in and day out. This can be wearisome. Not to mention – do these same people give thanks to the Gods and Goddesses when times are good? Or simply when the going gets tough? Hearing the pain in their voices, seeing the tears cascade down their faces. Holding their heads in hands, weeping. No, I am not talking about us, mortals. I am speaking of our Gods and Goddesses. Are we so selfish and wrapped up in our lives and ego that we forget that they too feel these pains from us? They feel our despair. Yet they at times know that it is our job, here on our planet, to solve our problems without their help.

They are giving their help. They are helping us by not helping. Letting us make mistakes, solve these mistakes and pave the road smoother for our travels. Each individual, as they know, has a path to walk. This path may be filled with ruts and holes, but it is the path we must travel. To learn to fill in these ruts is our job. Not the Divine Ones. We need to learn to fill these ruts with concrete. Filling one hole at a time. Once we do this, our travels are not as burdened.

Our Gods and Goddesses, whoever they may be, know that we must learn to solve our own problems. Solving our own problems alone teaches us those life lessons that are needed for us to grow inside. Each time we solve these problems we have laid another new section on our road.

This re-building of our paths seems to be never-ending. Obstacles seem to be placed in front of us. Making us stop, not being able to go around whatever is there. Sometimes we must open our mind’s eye to see the solution. Causing us to bring out our inner strengths and trust. Worry, doubts, fears are those main obstacles that, in any given situation, prohibit us from coming up with a viable solution. Once we are able to overcome the fears, doubts and worries, we are able to free our mind and let the soft inner voice caress us with the answers. Listening to this voice can be all the help that you need. For you have opened up to see and hear the signs that are leading you to the solution. You are now able to walk straighter and see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Nobody said that life was easy all the time. If it were easy what would we learn? Would we in fact have our faith?

If we did not have these opportunities to overcome obstacles would we recognize a Divine Intervention? Would we appreciate it? The awe would seem to be gone.

Our Gods and Goddesses may revel in our accomplishments. For they know that even by the tough love that they sometimes send out, we have survived another passage. Instead of tears of sadness, they shed tears of happiness in our advancements.

We will grow each time by learning to be strong, independent and happy individuals.

They see us and smile, knowing that we are doing fine alone most of the time. Our faith guides us. Our intelligence and perseverance to face the hardships are only stepping stones on the way to enlightenment.

You know and feel that their eyes and hearts are never closed to us. They are doing us a favor by allowing us “free will.” Their silent prayers are our answers to our requests. We just have to learn to open our minds and listen for them. They have done more for us by doing nothing.

After the hardships are behind you, please remember to thank your Gods and Goddesses for the blessings that you have in your life. One should do this daily. Whether in time of need or not. Don’t just call upon them in times of sorrow or hard times. Share your happiness with them. Your love and faith should be shown to them continuously by the things you do each day. Use personal words or prayers created just for them. Speak to your chosen Gods and Goddesses as if they are with you, because they are. Choose to do whatever makes you feel closer to them.

While you are alone, look again at the path you are traveling. See where you have been, where you are and where you are going. See how far you have come. See the things that brightened your life.

Finally, raise your eyes and arms to the heaven; say a silent prayer of love and gratitude to your Gods and Goddesses for their safe travels.

Blessed Be To The New Year, 2013

I do not know what still awaits,
Or what the morrow brings;
But with the glad salute of faith,
I hail it with an open heart!

For this I know, that in my Lord & lady
Shall all my needs be met;
And I can trust the hearts of Both
Who has not failed me yet..

Blessed Be To The New Year, 2013!

A Little Humor for Your Day – Strength, Ability, and Intelligence

Strength, Ability, and Intelligence

One day three men were walking along and came upon a raging, violent river. They needed to get to the other side, but had no idea of how to do it. The first man prayed to the gods saying, “Please, give me the strength to cross this river.”

Poof! He was given big arms and strong legs, and he was able to swim across the river in about two hours.

Seeing this, the second man prayed saying, “Please, give me the strength and ability to cross this river.”

Poof ! He was given a rowboat and he was able to row across the river in about three hours.

The third man had seen how this worked out for the other two, so he also prayed, saying, “Please, give me the strength, ability, and intelligence to cross this river.”

And Poof! He was turned into a woman.

She looked at the map, then walked across the bridge.

As the sun descends into the horizon on the longest night of the year, take a moment to ponder what you will see when you wake the next day.

A Sunset Prayer for Yule

Set aside some time to meditate upon the meaning of this time of year, and what it signifies for you and your life.

The longest night has come once more,

the sun has set, and darkness fallen.

The trees are bare, the earth asleep,

and the skies are cold and black.

Yet tonight we rejoice, in this longest night,

embracing the darkness that enfolds us.

We welcome the night and all that it holds,

as the light of the stars shines down.

From Patti Wigington, your Guide to Paganism /Wicca
There’s a lot to be said for the beauty of snow. Welcome the white stuff with a prayer reminding us of why we love it.

Snow Prayer

Depending on where you live, you may be seeing snowfall long before Yule arrives. Take a moment to appreciate its beauty, both as it falls and once it covers the ground.

From the reaches of the north,

a place of cold blue beauty,

comes to us the first winter storm.

Wind whipping, flakes flying,

the snow has fallen upon the earth,

keeping us close, keeping us together,

wrapped up as everything sleeps

beneath a blanket of white.

From Patti Wigington, your Guide to Paganism /Wicca
Take a moment to embrace the chilly, icy weather of winter as Yule approaches. As you meditate on this devotional, take a moment to reflect upon the positive aspects of this dark season.

A Prayer to the Winter Goddess

Despite the fact that some people hate cold weather, it does have its advantages. After all, a good cold day gives us an opportunity to cuddle up indoors with the people we love the most.

O! Mighty goddess, in silvery ice,

watching over us as we sleep,

a layer of shining white,

covering the earth each night,

frost on the world and in the soul,

we thank you for visiting us.

Because of you, we seek warmth

in the comfort of our homes and hearths.

A Prayer To A Gentle Lady

Goddess Comments & Graphics

PRAYER TO A GENTLE LADY

The bright blue of the sky

is Her eyes in the morning.

The sunshine, Her love glowing

in the morning’s birth.

The soft calling of birds

is Her singing to Her people.

The breeze, Her arms embracing the world.

Gentle Lady,

Watch over me as I find my path in life.

Guide my steps. Bring me to the end of

the day fulfilled.

Keep those I love safe. Goddess,

be at the side of those who need you.

And may they always be worthy of your devotion.

Bones of Anger Revenge Hex

BONES OF ANGER REVENGE HEX

Gather bones of chickens and dry them in the sun for a few
days. Then when you are ready to do this hex make sure you
are worked up into a frenzy of anger and hatred. This will
add to the potency of your hex! Be thinking of all this
while doing this hex and when it says “With these bones I
now do crush,” take a hammer or use your feet to stomp and
crush these bones as if they were your enemy before you!

When you are done sweep, them up and place them in a bag. You
will then want to sprinkle the dust and remains of the bones
on your enemy’s property around his house.

If you have a bell ring it 3 times and say…

I call upon the Ancient Ones from the great abyss to do my
bidding I invoke Cuthalu, God of Anger and the creatures of
the underworld hear me now…

Bones of anger, bones to dust
full of fury, revenge is just
I scatter these bones, these bones of rage
take thine enemy, bring him pain
I see thine enemy before me now
I bind him, crush him, bring him down
With these bones I now do crush
Make thine enemy turn to dust
torment, fire, out of control
With this hex I curse your soul

So mote it be!

Mabon Prayers

Mabon Prayers

By Patti Wigington

Prayer for Abundance

We have so much before us
on for this we are thankful.
We have so many blessings, and for this we are thankful.
There are others not so fortunate,
and by this we are humbled.
We shall make an offering in their name
to the gods who watch over us,
that those in need are someday
as blessed as we are this day.

Mabon Balance Prayer

Equal hours of light and darkness
we celebrate the balance of Mabon,
and ask the gods to bless us.
For all that is bad, there is good.
For that which is despair, there is hope.
For the moments of pain, there are moments of love.
For all that falls, there is the chance to rise again.
May we find balance in our lives
as we find it in our hearts.

Prayer to Gods of the Vine

Hail! Hail! Hail!
The grapes have been gathered!
The wine has been pressed!
The casks have been opened!
Dionysus and Bacchus,
watch over our celebration
and bless us with merrymaking!
Hail! Hail! Hail!

A Prayer to the Dark Mother

Day turns to night,
and life turns to death,
and the Dark Motherteaches us to dance.
Hecate, Demeter, Kali,
Nemesis, Morrighan, Tiamet,
bringers of destruction, you who embody the Crone,
I honor you as the earth goes dark,
and as the world slowly dies.

A Prayer of Thanks Giving

The harvest is ending,
the earth is dying.
The cattle have come in from their fields.
We have the earth’s bounty
on the table before us
and for this we give thanks to the gods

Elder’s Meditation of the Day – August 28

Elder’s Meditation of the Day – August 28

“With prayer and good intentions, we make our lives sacred and so come to balance.”

–Don Jose Matsua, HUICHOL SIERRA MADRE MEXICO

Only through prayer can we make spiritual changes that are permanent. You have told us that all life is sacred. Today I intend to serve you, my Creator. Allow me to overcome temptation, and if one comes along, let me see the lessons that will give balance. You have told us that all life is sacred. Let me see today with a sacred eye. Let me see beauty in all things.

My Creator, let me know what You would have me be today. Let my intentions be honest, respectful, humble and loving.

Oh, What A Wonderous Morning After Lammas! Good Morning To All My Dear Ones!

Good Thursday Morning to everyone! I hope you had a very happy & blessed Lammas yesterday. I know I stayed up way to late. So if you see something like this today, “sssssssssssssssssssssss.” You will know I have fell asleep at the computer, lol!

I had to go to town yesterday to do some running around. When the weather is cool, I always take Kiki with me. But it was 105 degrees and there was no way she could go. While I was gone she tore up the house looking for me. She even when outside on the porch and looked and looked. The bond we have between us is unbelievable. I have never had a familiar that is attached to me as she is. We spend every waking moment together. Well I got home and she was about to burn up. I hurried and put up everything. Then we went out on the porch to stretch out and enjoy the breeze. We stretch out side-by-side. I like to lay and look at the clouds. I made sure Kiki was situated then I laid down and starting staring at the clouds. I thought since today is Lammas, I should say a special prayer of Thanksgiving to the Goddess. I started to think in my head what I wanted to say. I had it! I looked up at the cloud and the cloud had took the shape of a woman’s face. That blew me away. I knew the Goddess was going to listen to my humble prayer. I said my prayer to Her and at the end I mentioned something about, “could She blow Her sweet, cooling breath over her children to cool their brow.” Not the exact words but close enough. Then I closed the prayer. About a minute or two later, the coolest breeze you have ever felt came around the corner. Oh, it was bone chilling and so refreshing. There were several more of those wonderful breezes to come. I can’t describe it, wonderful, fantastic, don’t even come close to what we experienced yesterday.

I have am a true worry-wart, no doubt about it. I have had so much on my mind. I have been worried about coming up with the money to pay the server bill, the light bill, the water, everything it takes to run an office. And yesterday, the Goddess looked me directly in the face and heard every word I had to say. Then She gently reassured me that everything was going to work out. I always call the Goddess, “Mother.” Because I lost my mother at such a young age. I have always asked Her to lead me and guide down my Path. Let me know what She needed done and I would gratefully do it. But yesterday was special, it was like a Mother wrapping Her arms around Her child and just giving her all the love and comfort She could. Telling me, “everything is going to be all right, child.” I had put all my problems in the Goddess’ hands. I knew She would take care of them. But I guess I have grown a little weary and my Mother decided I needed some love and encouragement. The Goddess not only gave me love and encouragement, She gave me strength. I know I don’t have to tell you. But to experience the Goddess one on one is beautiful. She radiates love, compassion, caring, all the good qualities in the Universe. I think I am very fortunate that She choose me as Her child.

Before I get to work today, I would like to remind you that we still need donations to pay our server bill. We have had donations coming in and we appreciate those so much. But unfortunately, everything is high as a cat’s back these days and we need some more donations. If you remember, we have to next week to come up with the funds to pay the bill. If not, we will be permanently off the internet. I would humbly ask you to search your hearts. If you like the message we are spreading, then help us to continue to spread it. Our goal is to put Witchcraft back in the mainstream Religions. If we are off the net, we can’t do that. I don’t ask for donations that often but this has been an extremely rough year. We need just a little helping hand to get us through this crisis. It doesn’t matter the amount, because in the end it all adds up.

Please search your hearts and help us through this crisis. Please make a donation today. Because our time is running out, very quickly I might add.

Remember the banner, it is directly linked to the PayPal page. You will see it throughout today’s posts. Then we have a donate button up in the right handed corner of this page. We also have a Donate Page with our mailing address on it, if you would like to us that.  We know we can count on you. Thank you for your love and support.

Wishing You A Very Blessed Week To Come, My Dear Friends!

Days Of The Week Comments Good Monday Morning, my dear friends! I am sorry about the weekend. But as you know, my youngest child has moved back in with me. All I can say is, “Drama, Drama, Drama!” And I have talked till I am blue in the face. Still I cannot talk any sense at all into him. I know he is confused but he could listen to someone who has his best interest at heart. I keep hearing, “I am a grown man!” I am about ready to say, “Well, then damn it act like it.” But I am biting my tongue. You know I am seriously beginning to wonder if I got the right kid in the hospital, lol!

I ask of you, dear friends, to keep us in your prayers.

I picked out the following prayer for all of us parents. I am sure at sometime in our lives, we will find it useful.

Prayer Of A Parent

My Lord and Lady, you are my eternal

parents, and I have a special need to ask

of you. Please make me a better parent. Help me

to understand my children. Help me to be

a parent when a parent is needed, and a

friend when a friend is needed. Help me

to set a good example so I may be a good

teacher for my children, and give me the

patience and wisdom I will need in raising

them.

So Mote It Be.

I hope you have a fantastic week. Don’t work to hard and remember to take time and smell the roses (watch out for the thorns, though).

Luv & Hugs,

Lady A

Keep all of us in your prayers please. I have asked the Goddess to comfort him and ease his broken heart. I have faith She will do exactly that. But please remember us, in your prayers. I would be eternally grateful.

Now let’s start this day off on a much lighter note. A Celtic blessing from me to you. Good day, my dear friends & family!

Brighid of the Mantle, encompass us,
Lady of the Lambs, protect us,
Keeper of the Hearth, kindle us.
Beneath your mantle, gather us,
And restore us to memory.

Mothers of our mother,
Foremothers strong.
Guide our hands in yours,
Remind us how
To kindle the hearth.
To keep it bright,
To preserve the flame.
Your hands upon ours,
Our hands within yours,
To kindle the light,
Both day and night.

The Mantle of Brighid about us,
The Memory of Brighid within us,
The Protection of Brighid keeping us
From harm, from ignorance, from heartlessness.
This day and night,
From dawn till dark,
From dark till dawn.

Daily OM for June 4th – Prayer and Meditation

Prayer and Meditation
Asking and Receiving

by Madisyn Taylor

Meditation and prayer can offer us different experiences and both can be powerful tools.

Prayer and meditation are similar practices in that they both offer us a connection to the divine, but they also differ from one another in significant ways. Put simply, prayer is when we ask the universe for something, and meditation is when we listen. When we pray, we use language to express our innermost thoughts and feelings to a higher power. Sometimes, we plumb the depths within ourselves and allow whatever comes to the surface to flow out in our prayer. At other times, we pray words that were written by someone else but that express what we want to say. Prayer is reaching out to the universe with questions, pleas for help, gratitude, and praise.

Meditation, on the other hand, has a silent quality that honors the art of receptivity. When we meditate, we cease movement and allow the activity of our minds and hearts to go on without us in a sense. Eventually, we fall into a deep silence, a place that underlies all the noise and fray of daily human existence. In this place, it becomes possible for us to hear the universe as it speaks for itself, responds to our questions, or sits with us in its silent way.

Both prayer and meditation are indispensable tools for navigating our relationship with the universe and with ourselves. They are also natural complements to one another, and one makes way for the other just as the crest of a wave gives way to its hollow. If we tend to do only one or the other, prayer or meditation, we may find that we are out of balance, and we might benefit from exploring the missing form of communication. There are times when we need to reach out and express ourselves, fully exorcising our insides, and times when we are empty, ready to rest in quiet receiving. When we allow ourselves to do both, we begin to have a true conversation with the universe.
