Use this candle spell to divine your future.
You will need a blue candle, a gold candle and a white candle. A branch of pyromancy, lychnomancy uses candle flames to divine the future. The three sisters in Greek mythology had an all-seeing eye that they continually passed between them. This spell combines these concepts to give you a way of divining what’s going on in your life.
At midnight, draw a magick circle and call in the Elements. Light the candles and arrange them in a triangle. Call in the three sisters into your circle by saying:
I summon the three sisters
With their all-seeing eye
Come flicker in the flame
Come show me my future tonight!
First you need to establish a rapport with the candle flames like you would three sisters. Observe the movement of each of the flames as to whether it wavers, spirals, or burns brighter or faster than the other two. Ask a few basic questions that you know the answers to, and see how the flames respond. See how the movement seems to run among the three of them as if they’re passing the all-seeing eye back and forth between them. After you have a rapport with the candle flames, then begin asking the questions you want to know about the future, and watch the flames of the three sisters do their magick. Write down your questions and answers in your journal.
When you are done, thank the three sisters, bid farewell to the Elements, and pull up the circle.
Free Yourself From Enchantment
(Seed Moon)
Sometimes people come into your life who have a mesmerizing or enchanting effect on you. This spell is intended to help you move past this enchantment so that you see situations for what they are.
You will need a small piece of topaz o a piece of jewelry with a topaz in it. Derived from the Sankrit word tapas, meaning “fire,” topaz was thought by the Egyptians to have the golden glow of the mighty Sun God Ra, and for the Romans it had the fire of their Sun God Jupiter. Because of this topaz traditionally made for a very powerful amulet against harm. Magickally, topaz protects against enchantment and helps you to see things for what they are.
Begin by clearing the topaz by placing your hand over it and pulsing with your breath the image of a clear mountain stream. Lie down somewhere comfortable and place the topaz on your third eye (area between and above your eyebrows), and say:
Fire stone so bright
Shine your light
So I can see
Everything clearly
So Mote It Be! Blessed Be!
Place the topaz near your head as you sleep. When drifting to sleep, give yourself the suggestion that in your dreams all enchantment will be lifted and you see everything clearly for what it is. Write down all you recall from your dreams in your journal.

April 16 – Daily Feast
April is the color of jonquils, the fragrance of hyacinths, and the dewiness of violets. The sunlit meadows are carpeted with tiny blue flowers, and along the ravines wild strawberries are as sweet and tart as April air. We forget that while the earth sleeps, life goes on, growing, developing, spreading, until at the right moment it reveals itself in glorious colors and shapes. A few short weeks ago everything was brown and somber. Now the colors are radiant and the very air is tinted the color of new leaves. A new aura outlines the distant hills and only human beings have to see and taste and stir themselves to new life.

Although we may think of ourselves as independent beings, we are inextricably linked to one another and to our environment in a complex web of interactions. Imagine yourself poised in the middle of a web. Each thread represents a connection that anchors you to the life around you. Look along each thread in turn and appreciate the many ways in which you are connected to the world – through relationships, commitments, and so on. You inhabit and accept the network. You rejoice in your connection and especially their uniqueness.
1) Have I done everything I can to resolve the situation without magic?
Try all the mundane methods of attaining your goals before resorting to spellcraft. If you want a job, send out your resume before you break out the green candles and patchouly. If you want to meet someone special, try reading the personals or signing up for an adult ed class before you reach for the aphrodisiacs. If you’re having conflict with someone at work, try talking to them about the problem before you go looking up binding spells. As one experienced witch put it to me, “this way, you can be sure that your intentions are pure.”
2) Will this spell harm another, or bend someone’s will to mine?
Please refer to the Wiccan Rede. Witches do not cast spells meant to harm someone else. Nor do they cast spells on other people without their permission, no matter how honorable their intentions. There’s a good reason for this: harmful and meddlesome spells have a nasty tendency to backfire on the people who cast them.
When you’re watching someone close to you suffering, it can be hard to consider the situation objectively. One reader asked me about spells to help alleviate anger. When I dug deeper, it turned out that spellcraft was entirely inappropriate. If possible, discuss the matter with another trusted pagan friend. If there’s no one around to consult with, try asking someone in the chat room or the Forum.
3) Am I prepared to accept the consequences of this spell, whatever they might be?
Think long and hard about this one. As I’ve said before, you may cast a spell with the best of intentions, but end up with unexpected consequences. Meditate a bit on it before you decide to cast the spell. Talk to other witches and see if there isn’t a better solution.
Either way, your spell has a better chance of success if you fully “own” it, and anything that results from it. The best way to avoid unforseen consequences is to follow the guidelines set out above — and, most importantly, to cast the spell with love in your heart. Making magick is a powerful and transformative experience. In the midst of the spell, you become the subject, and you become the result. Make sure that what you’re asking for is something you’d like to become.
Remember, the most powerful tool a witch has is their mind. As we can only perceive reality, we can bend it by changing states of consciousness. The universe is like a web, we can change the strands, and we can even break them with our magick. Be careful of what you do. Before every magickal working ask yourself:
‘Do I dare disturb the fragile energies of the universe?’
A spell cast on someone without their permission can be considered as manipulative magick. Even when the best of thoughts are at heart, you must tell them your intentions, or deal with the consequences. Sometimes it isn’t possbile to tell someone you want to cast a healing spell on them,so outweight the benefits to the negative consequences.
A spell which bends will or binds it to yours is completely WRONG. Do not perform them unless absolutely necessary, and by that I only mean bindings and transformations, and if you have no other alternatives, banishings. If you are under some sort of physcial attack, for example abuse, rape or harrassment, see the police immediately, do not attempt to bend their will through a spell.
A spell cast to harm someone is just as wrong as bending their will, if not more so. Do not cast a spell to cause ill to a convited murderer, a friend who has gosspped about you, no matter what the magnitude. If it is a felony or illegal under law, get the law enforcers involed. Remember you human rights, and theirs also.
A spell which is personal gain is OK *AS LONG AS* you do not demand too much. Be careful for what you ask for, you just might get it.
Good morning, my dear, dear friends! I just wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that we have had quite a few new friends with us. We have so many new friends, I didn’t want them to feel unwelcome. I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome them to the blog and our home. I wish I could take the opportunity to personally welcome you myself. But there is about 2,000 comments that come through the blog a day. So it is very difficult for me to answer every comment and still do the Goddess’ work. I am glad that you have decided to make us your new home. I hope that I will get to know each of you personally.

When you feel comfortable in your ability to cast a circle, it is time to start finding new ways to do it. There is no limit to what you can do to create sacred space. It can be as simple as sitting and drumming the circle into existence or chanting something to create the energy to draw your circle. Movement is something used in lieu of everything else. It is possible to use a piece of recorded music to cast it, or to dance to the music to cast the circle. You can create a circle by telling stories or sharing your day with others.
Some of the techniques that can be used will be very difficult at first, and that is why you should learn to cast in one of the first two ways before you begin experimenting. If you do, you know what the end result should be and will know when you reach it. As you develop a new way to cast a circle, you will find certain things that work and certain ones that don’t. Don’t be afraid to change elements around or substitute things in or out to make it work. This is one of the first totally creative things that you will do as a witch.

Good Thursday morning, my lovelies! I hope you are having a fantastic day. I must apologize about yesterday. But at you can see, I wasn’t taking a vacation day, lol! The blog had some needed up-dating. I had been trying to get it all done in the mornings before I did my blogging. But the up-dates turned out to be too many and I couldn’t get it done. So yesterday, I decided I should be ashamed of myself for letting all this go and take care of it. Thank the Goddess, I got it all done.
As you can see the blog has a new look. I hope you like it. Also the monthly Goddess, Herb and Crystal are now current. I also pulled off some dead links and other things I have been aiming to remove. The blog is now current and hopefully it will stay that way for a few months (keep your fingers crossed, lol!).
I just wanted to drop you a quick note and let you know what was going on. Really, I didn’t want you to think I flew the coup, lol! Now let’s get down to business……
I have to admit things have gotten better, but……I still have to put my knee back in place and pick the thorns out of my hand, lmao! I got outside this morning at the crack of dawn and did farm work 😦 . I have one question after today, why, oh, why do people have to work?

April 9 – Daily Feast
A problem of recent times is that we do not have a set of values by which we can live. If we are to live well and be reasonably happy, we have to have an idea of who we are and where we are going. There must be rules to guide us. Tsu gv wa lo di I to the Cherokee means a definite standard by which to live, even when the values of others change by the hour. Without it, we are rafts on a high tide with no direction and no control. If the standard is missing we go with whatever comes along. Even is rules are self-made and are late in coming, if they come at all, it is worth the effort. And if we hold to them with a passion, they will be worth whatever we had to do, whatever we have to give up, to follow.
