Puzzle Play Sex Magick (Blood/Harvest Moon)

Puzzle Play Sex Magick

(Blood Moon)

You will need a puzzle with a maximum of twenty pieces, your favorite scented oil, two pens, and two sheets of paper.

Anoint the edges of the puzzle box with a bit of the oil, too. Hold the puzzle box in your hands, and say:

These pieces join us together as one

Ayea! So be it! Blessed Be!

Next, number the sheets of paper with as many numbers as you have puzzle pieces. Write down the love treat you would like from your partner when you match the puzzle pieces after each number. Have your partner do the same on his or her sheet of paper. For example, list a five-minute foot massage, a three-minute kiss, and a strip tease dance. You can take it from here! Next , spread out all the puzzle pieces, mix them up and begin. Whoever finds the first puzzle match wins his or her love treat. Whoever finds the second puzzle match wins his or her second love treat, and so on and so on. The biggest challenge is to actually finish putting the puzzle together before you join together in passionate love. Direct your sexual energies toward a shared dream or magickal goal.

Elemental Shape-Shifting (Blood/Harvest Moon)

Elemental Shape-Shifting

(Blood Moon)

In this spell, you will use the different elements to help you shift shapes into different animals and magickal beings.

You will need a clear quartz crystal, cedar incense, a green candle and a chalice of water. Begin by staring deep within the crystal. Merge (become one) with it and say:

Elemental powers of earth

Transform and shift within me

So Mote It Be!

Light the incense, and merge with the smoke as it glides lightly through the air, while you say:

Elemental powers of air

Transform and shift within me

So Mote It Be!

Light the candle and merge into the flame as you say:

Elemental powers of fire

Transform and shift within me

So Mote It Be!

Stare deep within the chalice of water. Merge with it and say:

Elemental powers of water

Transform and shift within me

So Mote It Be!

Lie back and meditate as the power of the elements shifts you into different animals. You become a bear emerging from its cave, a bird spreading its wings on the wind, a dragon breathing fire out of its nostrils, and a water sprite frolicking in the mist of a waterfall.

Mari-Morgan (Blood/Harvest Moon)

Mari-Morgan

(Blood/Harvest Moon)

The Mari-Morgans were water faeries known for playing the harp beautifully and riding white, seafoam horses. They travel from their sea palaces on a crystal bridge, and have been known to protect sailors and save shipwreck victims. In this spell, you are calling upon their energy to use the water element to protect your personal space from the dark energies that come out at this time of year.

You will need a white candle, a bell, and a chalice full of water.

Draw a magick circle and call in the elements. Light the white candle and say:

With this flame I bring in the light of Goddess

To shine like a beacon through the darkness.

Beginning in the north point, stand with the bell and chalice of water. Sprinkle several drops of water and say:

Mari-Morgan, Lovely Lady of the sea

Please protect this space for eternity.

Ring the bell three times, and then go to the east, south and west points repeating everything you did for the north.

After you have finished casting the spell, thank the Mari-Morgans for their help and bid farewell to the elements. Pull up the circle, but let the candle burn safely down.

Scrying Brew

Scrying Brew

Mugwort Tea, the divination ally of choice! This special tea will actually help you scry. It’s primary ingredient is mugwort, so drink most and scry the remainder!

For each serving, boil one cup of water.

Add boiled water to a teapot in which the following have been placed:

3 tablespoons or more dried mugwort (not only good for helping us contact our inner wisdom, it is also very relaxing).

1/ cup dried oatstraw (good for nerves)

1 piece of cinnamon stick, 2 to 3 inches long, for it’s delicious flavor.

Steep for 15 minutes. Strain and pour into a dark-colored mug, preferably black. Sweeten with maple syrup, honey or brown sugar, if desired.

Now sit comfortably in your “Power Place” with your cup. Sniff your Scrying Brew, feel the steam and warm as a breath on your face. Take a sip and savor the earthy flavor. As you sip become aware of your breathing. Is it shallow or deep, quick or slow/ As you drink, be with your breath, without attempting to change it. When the tea is nearly gone, gradually turn your attention to the tea remaining in your cup. Gaze at it without effort, simply letting yourself be with the cup and the tea. The disc where the tea meets air might look silvery if it catches a light’s reflection. As you look pay some dreamy attention to the thoughts that flash through your mind, like fish. What are they? All over the world people are scrying and dreaming tonight. What images do you see?

Take as much time as you can. You may want to leave the remainder of the tea in its cup on your kitchen altar as an offering for you long-forgotten kindred who knew how to do this ancient ritual.

Meditation of Earth

Meditation of Earth

The best way to get to know the energy pattern of an Element is to work with it and use meditation to “become” that Element. For this exercise you will need a bowl of dirt or sand and a seed of some kind. Trace one of the earth sigils on the floor with your finger and sit inside. Take three deep breaths. Put your hand in the dirt. Begin by rolling the sand or dirt around with your fingers. Let your mind drift on subjects that pertain to the earth–the planet, earth goddesses, the ideas of stability and abundance. When you are through, ask for wisdom from the earth, brush off your hands, give a gentle thank you to the element, the ground and center. Hold the seed in your hand and think of a wish that you would like to grow. Think of planting that wish in the ground and visualize the result, then physically plant the seed somewhere on your property. If you like, you can bag up the dirt or sand in the bowl and use it in a spell or ritual later on. Note: If you have used the invoking earth pentagram then you will need to finish by tracing the banishing earth pentagram.

“If you get troubled, go and sit by the river. The flowing water will take your troubles away.”

–Joe Coyhis, STOCKBRIDGE-MUNSEE

Sometimes we get mixed up and we don’t know what to do. Go to the river or creek. Take your sage and tobacco; sit and be still. Talk to the water, offer tobacco and the healing water will take your problems downstream. Give thanks.

Great Spirit, heal my mind today, let me see love.

Fertility

Gives couples who want babies but can’t have them or don’t want sexual intercourse, a baby.

Items you will need

  • Boyfriend or Girlfriend
  • Blanket (pink or blue light colored)
  • Paper
  • Pen (Permanent Black)
  • Silver Cup
  • Wooden Spoon
  • 3 Candles (Red, White, and Blue)
  • Concentration
  • Holy Water
  • Dried Rose Petals
  • Lighter
  • Bronze Pitcher

The Spell:

Get your girlfriend or boyfriend in one room with you. In complete silence take out either a pink blanket symbolizing a girl baby or a blue blanket symbolizing a boy baby. Take your permanent black pen and draw a pentagram. Put the pentagram in the middle of the blanket, then put the silver cup on top of it. Take the pen and let the girl write her name first on the paper with the pentagram on it. Then the boy must take the pen and write his name on the paper. Writing the name on the pentagram will have the spiritual power know the couple that wants the baby. Take out all three candles and put them in a line to the right side of the couple. Do not put the candles on the blanket unless you have a metal plate for the candles to be put on. Use the lighter to light the candles. Take the holy water and pour it in the silver glass without spilling a drop. Let the women take the rose petals and crunch it up until it is just crumbs of rose petals. After the petals are crunched put them in the silver cup. Then the boy must take the wooden spoon and mix the dried rose petals in the holy water until the rose petals are covered in water. The the boy with his own hands must take the holy water and lather it on his girlfriend’s stomach. The girl will then concentrate on the pentagram sign. As the boy rubs it on the girl’s stomach he too must think of the pentagram sign. After five minutes the girl will pull down her shirt covering her belly. The boy and girl must join hands, even though the boy’s hands are wet, and chant these words:

”Baby Baby come to me,
Baby Baby Mote it be.
God will give you life with me,
Baby Baby mote it be.
Life with you will be so good,
playing games and building wood.
You’ll be ours and you will see,
Baby Baby mote it be.”

After saying this once, the woman will become pregnant in a matter of 24 hours. This spell is for couples who cannot have babies or for couples who don’t want to go through sexual intercourse. This spell will make the female pregnant and she can still keep her virganity.

Personal Cleansing

Here is a very effective personal cleansing spell that I would like to pass on to any who may have need of it.

Personal Cleansing

Choose candles according to your personal and daily preferences, I have found that any will work. Run a bath with as hot of water as you can stand. If you prefer, this ritual can be done in the shower. Use whatever bath oils work for you. Visualize all the day’s negative energies surrounding you as you get into the water. Then, visualize all that negativity being removed from your Self by the water. Focus on your candle flames, meditate on cleansing your Self. When the water has cooled to the point of being uncomfortable, pull the stopper, and say these words: “Drain away these pains and troubles, As does this water pure and free. Take with it all this day’s distress. As I will, so mote it be!” Dry yourself off and rub your preferred cream onto your body to protect you from negativity over the night. Prepare to sleep well!

This spell has worked wonders not only for me, but for other Wiccans that I have passed it to. I would be honored if you would choose to place this simple spell into your online Book of Shadows.

Blessed be… Naddya

Today’s Meditation for Sept. 6th – Water Meditation

Water Meditation

Author: Mike at MoonWhisper

(Gaze into a bowl of water, or immerse yourself in a bath, a pool, or a pond)

Gaze into the Water.
Look through the water, not to the bottom, but into the element itself.
Feel its cool refreshing flow around you.
Let it soak in to your body, mingling with the Water that is already there.
Take a deep breath, and plunge your soul in to the water.
Let the surface close above you, so that you are completely engulfed in pure liquid blue.
Feel the gentle healing eddies swirl around and through you, easing the tension in your mind and body and spirit.
Feel the currents pulling you back and forth, like the pulse of the planet, rocking you gently to and fro.
Continue to breathe in this bliss as your pain and stress are dissolved and washed away from you.
Feel the cleansing of your entire being.
Now catch a current that flows by you, swirl in to it and become the Water, coursing out to join the ocean of the universe.
Join with other flowing souls, until you are all a rushing river, racing towards the sea.
Leap over rocks and sand, splashing and eroding and playing in fluid joy.
Dive off the edge of time, cascading down into the infinite ocean of cosmic life.
Feel the ebb and surge of creation as your waves crash and spray and foam

Now wash back up in to your body.
Soak in through your skin, all the way in to your soul.
Feel the purity and refreshment like a cool drink on a hot day.
Saturate your self with the healing essence of Water.
Feel it coursing through your body, from your feet, up your legs, into your chest and your arms, and up in to your head.
Open your eyes, and feel the healing calm still running throughout your body

Herb of the Day for August 23 is ROSEHIPS

ROSEHIPS (Rosa canina)

To grow:
Try to plant where roses will receive full sun all day. Avoid planting where
other shrubs or trees will steal water from the roses. Plant in well drained
soil. Dig soil deep and incorporate organic matter such as ground bark, peat
moss, or compost. Add complete fertilizer to soil at the same time and dig
supplemental phosphorous and potash into planting holes. Before planting bare-
root roses, immerse them in water for several hours. Be sure to make holes large
enough so you will not have to bend the roots or cut them back. Before planting
cut broken canes and broken roots just below the break. Set plant in the hole so
that bud union (knob from which the canes grow) is just above soil level. After
the rose is planted and has been watered well, mound soil or damp peat moss
around the bud union and the canes. Remove gradually after the leaves begin to
expand. You must water regularly. Water deeply so that entire root system
receives water. Big, well established plants need more water than new plants.
Apply nutrients fairly regularly. Feed when a blooming cycle has just ended and
new cycle is beginning. Stop feeding about 6 weeks before first hard frost.
Regular pest and disease control should be followed. Begin to control
aphids as soon as they appear. To prune, use sharp pruning spears. Remove wood
that is obviously dead or wood that has no healthy growth coming from it. Also
prune branches that rub against the plants larger canes or branches that cut
through the center. Each spring, remove 1/3 1/2 inch of the previous season’s
growth. Cut flowers as a form of pruning. Cut enough stem to allow rose to stand
in a vase but do not cut to much foliage from the plant.

Uses:
A good source of vitamin C. They help in the bodies defense against colds and
flues. They help in cases of constipation and mild gall bladder problems as well
as conditions of the bladder and kidney.

Parts used:
Fruit (hips) and seeds of the dog rose. Collect the hips in the fall.

Decoction:
Put 2 1/2 tbs. of the cut hips in a cup of water and bring to a boil. Simmer for
10 minutes.

Tincture:
Take 2-4 ml of the tincture three times a day.

Daily OM for August 21 – A Great Teacher

A Great Teacher
Living Like Water

Water is a great teacher that shows us how to move through the world with grace, ease, determination, and humility.

The journey of water as it flows upon the earth can be a mirror of our own paths through life. Water begins its residence on earth as it falls from the sky or melts from ice and streams down a mountain into a tributary or stream. In the same way, we come into the world and begin our lives on earth. Like a river that flows within the confines of its banks, we are born with certain defining characteristics that govern our identity. We are born in a specific time and place, within a specific family, and with certain gifts and challenges. Within these parameters, we move through life, encountering many twists, turns, and obstacles along the way just as a river flows.

Water is a great teacher that shows us how to move through the world with grace, ease, determination, and humility. When a river breaks at a waterfall, it gains energy and moves on, as we encounter our own waterfalls, we may fall hard but we always keep moving on. Water can inspire us to not become rigid with fear or cling to what’s familiar. Water is brave and does not waste time clinging to its past, but flows onward without looking back. At the same time, when there is a hole to be filled, water does not run away from it in fear of the dark; instead, water humbly and bravely fills the empty space. In the same way, we can face the dark moments of our life rather than run away from them.

Eventually, a river will empty into the sea. Water does not hold back from joining with a larger body, nor does it fear a loss of identity or control. It gracefully and humbly tumbles into the vastness by contributing its energy and merging without resistance. Each time we move beyond our individual egos to become part of something bigger, we can try our best to follow the lead of the river.

My Magickal Gift to You for Aug. 19th – Make Your Own Marblized Spell Paper

MAKE YOUR OWN MARBLIZED SPELL PAPER

You will need:

a large bottle of liquid starch
several colors of acrylic paints
two large flat baking dishes or dish pans
a few custard cups
small bowls or empty margarine containers
paint brushes
a variety of tools to create patterns in the paint (such as a feather, nut
pick, ice pick, coiled rubber cord, wire whisk, potato masher, fork or
wide-toothed hair comb)

Fill one baking dish or dish pan with starch to a depth of about 2 inches;
fill the second one with cool water. In custard cups or other small
containers, dilute each paint color until it just barely drips from a brush.
Then drip colors on top of the starch until the surface of the starch is
nearly covered.

Create a pattern in the starch with one or many of your tools. Move the
desired tool through the paint in straight lines, at geometric angels, in
circles, or in rays. Even if you leave the dots undisturbed to produce a
pebble pattern, no two patterns will be the same. Feel free to experiment
and be creative!

Hold a card or piece of paper by opposite corners and bend it gently so the
paper sags slightly. Lay it gently on top of the paint, but do not allow the
paper to sink below the surface. Immediately lift paper back out of the
starch. Hold it over the dish and allow the paint to drip off for a few
seconds.

Rinse paper in the dish of plain water. Lift paper out of water and allow it
to drip for about 15 seconds or until most of the water has dripped off. Lay
the paper flat, paint side up, on a work surface to dry.

When done just write prayers/ spells on papers, roll up of fold with an
offering of herbs and or dried flowers, seed pods etc. and burn in your
cauldron or dish.

Offer the burned remains to the wind……

Daily Herb of the Day for Aug. 19th – BALM

BALM (Melissa officinalis)

To grow:
Perennial herb. Grows to 2 ft. It’s leaves are heavily veined, light green
leaves with a lemony scent. It’s white flowers are unimportant and need to be
cut occasionally to keep compact. Spreads rapidly. Grow in rich, moist soil in
sun or part shade. Balm is very hardy and you can propagate from seed or root
divisions. Self sows.

Uses:
Balm is an excellent carminative herb that relieves spasms in the digestive
tract and is used in flatulent dyspepsia. The gently sedative oils relieve
tension and stress reactions, therefore, acting to lighten depression. It has a
tonic effect on the circulatory system and heart, thus lowering blood pressure.
It can be used in feverish conditions such as flu.

Parts used:
Dried aerial parts or fresh in season. Pick the leaves two or three times a year
between early summer and early fall. Cut off the young shoots when they are
approximately 12 in long. They should be dried in the shade at a temperature not
more than 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

leaves and leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes, well covered. Drink a cup in the
morning and the evening or when needed.

Tincture:
Take 2-6 ml of the tincture three times a day.

Today’s Goddess: Diana

Today’s Goddess: Diana

Festival of Diana (Rome)

Themes: Fertility; Children; Providence; Abundance; Harvest
Symbols: Moon; Water; Forest Items; Sun

About Diana: This Roman goddess embodies the moon’s fertility and watery aspects,
along with the sun’s protective and nurturing power over the forests and its creatures.
On this day she was celebrated in Rome, and she will be remembered in our hearts
as the huntress who helps us capture the spiritual “food” we need.

To Do Today: Starting on August 13, the Romans had a weeklong festival for Diana,
praying to her for the harvest’s bounty, and to turn damaging storms away. The traditional
place to leave an offering of fruit or vines for her is in the forest, or at a crossroads.

As you do, if any stone or leaf catches your eye, pick it up and carry it as a charm
that will keep Diana’s power with you that entire day. Come night, release the gift to
flowing water or back to the earth with a prayer of thanks and a wish for one of Diana’s
attributes that you wish to develop in your life.

It is also customary to light some fire source to honor her on August 15 or anytime during
the festivities. Afterward, to generate this goddess’s physical or figurative fertility within you,
follow Roman convention and wash your hair with specially prepared water (water to which
just a little milk is added so that it looks white, like the moon). If you have children, doing
this for them incurs Diana’s protection over their lives.

CANDLE MAGICK FOR SCRYING

CANDLE MAGICK FOR SCRYING

Scrying is a popular form of divination which involves seeing truth, knowing

what is happening around you in other places. It normally involves mirrors,

crystals, water or fire. This magick spell is devised to assist in scrying, not

to be performed alone.

Arrange altar in the following manner:

Goddess Candle and God candle in respective places.

Incense in the Center

White candle directly south of incense.

To the left and south of the white candle place Orange candle. Underneath white

candle place petitioner candle. Directly right of petitioner candle place

orange candle. Directly south of the Petitioner candle place purple candle.

Light Goddess and God candles.

Light PETITIONER candle and say,

“Here burns my spirit and power, wise in the Occult and steadfast in purity.”

Light the WHITE candle and say,

“Here burns Purity, Truth, and Sincerity. They are with me throughout this rite

and beyond it.”

Light Orange candles and say,

“That which I scry is attracted to me as the moth is drawn to the candle flame.”

Sit a moment and organize your thoughts. Decide EXACTLY what it is you wish to

see and say,

“Around me is built a wall of light;

Though it may pass only that which will harm me not.

That I may see all there is no question,

yet aught I see may not reach out to me.

The Gods are my guides as they are to my strength.

All this revealed is brought through Them;

For this do I give thanks.”

Turn your back to the altar and perform you act of scrying

When you have finished this, turn back to the altar and say,

“That which was desired has been accomplished.

May the Gods ever be with me and protect me in aught I do.”

Extinguish the candles in reverse order of lighting them.

Crystal of the Day for August 9th is Apatite

Apatite

Spiritual and Healing Properties of Apatite:

Love of Others

This stone works much like rose quartz except the love is more love of others with this stone than of self as in rose quartz.
~forum post from whitehorse woman

Earth Consciousness

Apatite comes in many colors, the most common being the greens, and yellows. It has a hardness of 5 on a scale of 1-10. It helps those who are Earth conscious to continue on a path of helping our Mother Earth. It is a stone that many psychics use for it helps to open the third eye and brings revelations closer. It brings inner peace and is good for meditations as well.

Apatite Curbs Appetite

This is one stone that many use when trying to stay on diets, as it helps to curb the appetite. It shakes up the inner self and allows you to look at/for your own truth. Then to put those truths into action.

Air and Fire Energy Spell

Air and Fire Energy Spell

Try this air and fire spell to boost both your mental and physical energy. Place a few drops of rosemary oil in a diffuser or on a cotton ball, and inhale, facing east, while saying:

Winds of intellect, attend me.
My mind is strong and alert.
I retain all I learn.
I remember all that is important.
Winds of intellect, attend me!

Repeat whenever needed, preferably outside on a windy day. Now place black pepper oil or crushed peppercorns in a diffuser or on a cotton ball and (carefully!) inhale. Facing south, say:

Fire of strength, attend me.
I am physically fit and strong.
I perform my work energetically.
I am free of fatigue and lassitude.
Fire of strength, attend me!

Repeat whenever necessary, preferably in front of a bonfire or blazing fireplace.

WIND SCRYING

WIND SCRYING

Ancient Greeks practised wind scrying in the sacred grove of Dodona, which was dedicated to Zues. Psellus refered to this technique writing “there is a mode of predicting by means of the air and the leaves of the trees.
The method seemed to involve the hanging of striking wands from branches of sacred oak tress in a way that they struck resounding brass basins when the wind blew. Interpretations were made of these sounds and that of the wind. The wind gives itself naturally to scrying because it talks the same as you or me. Find a quite place in the bush where there is no noise of cars, music, etc. A place among the trees is the best. Find a tree and sit under it.
Casually focus your attention on the wind, blocking out all other thoughts. In time the wind will talk to you.
In order for you to scy the wind, you must, for a time, become the wind.
Egyptian dream scrying may be traced back thousands of years. The method used by the Egyptians was recorded in the Greek magical papyri which were written between 200 B.C. to 500 A.D.
In preparing to use the Egyptian dream scrying method you must not speak to anyone on the evening you plan to scy. You should remain in silence after the setting of the sun.
Do not consume alcohol on that day or engage in sex. You must refrain from consuming food for up to four hours before the scrying.
After having a warm bath you anoint your temples with olive oil. You will need an oil lamp which must not be coloured red or bear any inscription.
Write on a short narrow strip of white linen with ink mixed with myrrh the name of the dream God and the purpose for the dream scrying. Twist the linen strip into a wick and insert into the oil of the lamp.
Place the lamp on a table beside your bed. Using the ink draw the image of the dream God upon your left palm.
You must decide which God or Goddess you wish to use. Thoth was well used with the Egyptians.
Light your lamp. Kneel before the lamp.
Concentrating on the image on your left hand recite the following invocation : Thoth I invoke, blessed power of dreams divine, Angel of future fates, swift wings are thine, Great source of oracles to human kind, When stealing soft, and whispering to the mind, Through sleep’s sweet silence and the gloom of night, Thy power awake the sight, To silent souls the will of heaven relates, And silently reveals their future fates.
You need to concentrate on your question you wish to know the answer to. Around your left hand wrap a piece of black linen about four inches wide and about thirty inches long.
The black cloth is called “black” of Isis. Blow out the flame of the lamp.
Now go to bed, clear your mind and go to sleep. Have a tape recorder beside your bed so that when you awaken you may recrd your dreams while still fresh in your mind.
You will find that the dream will come to you in a voice that is clear and powerfull rather than in dream images. Sometimes the message is sent in cryptic form so take your time in working out the answer.

WATER SCRYING

WATER SCRYING

You will need a large, deep bowl made from glass, brass or silver. It must have a smooth and even rim.
You must set your base on some sort of tripod for best results. A tripod made of laural boughs is the best.

You will need to do your own testing to find out which bowl works best for you and how much water you should use. Do not use water from a tap. Get clean, fresh water from a stream.
The ancient Greeks believed that nature spirits dwelled in fresh water. The water may be stored in a vessel and used again.

However it is a good idea to replace your water once a month. Never collect the water of a day time. Water should only be collected at night preferably on a full moon.

To make your wand use a branch from a bay tree, hazel tree or the laural. The end of the wand should be covered in dry tree sap or resin.
Dip the end of the wand into the water until it becomes wet. Wet the rims of the bowl.
The best time to scy is at night when it is quite. By gently drawing the rim of the wand around the bowl it will cause it to resonate.

The action of the resonating basin will cause circular ripples to form in the basin. The water seems to breathe with the sounds.
It is the harmonics that seem to whisper forth predictions of the future. These are interpreted with the help of a gaurdian angel.

You may also recieve visual impressions which Nostradamus likened to that of a “burning mirror”.
