Spell for Today – Spell To Find A Lost Pet
From shirleytwofeathers.com
For this spell to find a lost cat or other small pet, you’ll need the assistance of a tree, rock, or other outdoor entity—preferably one in your yard or very near your home. Take one of your pet’s favorite toys and some pet food to the tree. Tell the tree about your pet and that you are concerned because of how long he or she has been missing. Ask the tree if it will help you by providing a beacon for your pet to follow to get home. Leave the pet food near the tree. If a small rock gets your attention, bring it and the pet toy into the house. Keep them near the door. Every time you pass the toy, thank the tree for its help in providing a beacon for your pet.

Moon Alert
After 7 AM EDT today (4 AM PDT) there are no restrictions to shopping or important decisions. The Moon is in Virgo.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Today might begin in a sober way because you have duties and responsibilities to perform. Nevertheless, as the day wears on, your energy will pick up and you will see ways to make home improvements and have energetic discussions with family members. Who knew?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Children might be an increased responsibility today, especially in the morning. Likewise, you might be discouraged about social plans and relationships with romantic partners. Fortunately, as the day wears on, you have more energy to give to your social scene and to children.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Be patient this morning when dealing with family members, especially parents and authority figures because things could go sideways in a New York minute. (You don’t need this.) Fortunately, later in the day, you have the enthusiasm and energy to make improvements at home and mend family relationships.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Your moods can change frequently throughout the day. (You know this.) This morning you might feel world-weary and discouraged. Don’t worry because as the day wears on, you will feel increasingly energetic, optimistic and hopeful. Go figure. It was ever thus.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You might be discouraged about financial matters today. Or perhaps something that you own is broken or damaged. Bummer. Fear not because later in the day, you might see things in a new light and either a solution is at hand or things don’t look as bad as you thought.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Today the Moon is in your sign. In the morning, it opposes stern Saturn, which is a depressing influence. Fortunately, this is just a brief dark cloud on your horizon. As the day wears on, you feel lots more energy and more emotionally upbeat. A real transformation.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
In one way, today you might feel lonely and cut off from others. “Nobody loves me.” But do not take these feelings too seriously because they’re temporary. Later in the day, you will feel energetic about taking advantage of opportunities to boost your good name. It’s all good.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Difficulties with a friend or even a group might be discouraging today. You might feel shutout of something or ignored. However, later, someone from another culture or a different country or perhaps the idea of exciting travel plans will lift your spirits.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Today you might encounter difficulty dealing with bosses, parents, teachers and the police. “Talk to the hand,” will be their response. Do not ask for permission or approval. Later in the day, financial help or assistance from another source will be encouraging. All is not lost.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Today the Moon opposes your ruler Saturn, which can make you feel judgmental, even depressed. Or maybe not? But in all likelihood, life will feel hard. Fortunately, this is a fleeting feeling because your interaction with a friend or partner will turn things completely around for you.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Financial matters look discouraging today. You might feel broke or disappointed at the lack of support from a third party or someone from whom you expected more. Nevertheless, later in the day, you will see how you can recoup any losses through your own work because you’re so clever.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
As this day begins, the Moon is opposite your sign and opposing Saturn in your sign. This is basically discouraging. Relations with friends and partners might disappoint. Fortunately, social news, opportunities in sports or something to do with children will completely lift your spirits. Saved by the bell!
If Your Birthday Is Today

A History of the Chakra Energy Systems by Siofra_Strega Spell Mechanic
From spells8.com
A Brief History of Energy Systems throughout Time
Between 1500 & 500 B.C. the first mention of the Chakra systems is in the Indus Valley Civilizations. They had a figure with three faces & wearing horned headgear that was in a yogic trance & surrounded by various animals such as elephants, lions, & the like… yoga at the time was practiced under Guru’s direction & the spiritual guidance was of utmost importance. Yoga exercises were built into the Upsana meditation techniques. Chakra is a term that is used to describe how “energy keeps moving” throughout the body. Yoga is often times used to direct or balance the energy centers through poses & meditation. They are believed to be spinning sources of energy or wheels for areas of the body and around the fields of energy surrounding the body.
Whether or not they have always been or if it’s a modernized tradition, the main seven Chakra centers are believed to also correlate to skills, expressions, kinds of health, nerve centers, & internal organs among other things spiritual, and physical, mental, and emotional states. The subtle (“energy”) body is made up of approximately 72,000 nadis that the subtle energy flows through. When several of the nadis cross it makes up an energy center. With so many nadis, depending on the system there can be up to 144 Chakras, but within each system of chakras, the main seven are the ones most people are referring to. So the Chakra is an energy center. Chakras are spinning to stay open & aligned while running along the spine keeping the flow of energy even & balanced. Chakra is a Sanskrit word that translates to “wheel” or “spinning wheel”
As psychic centers of awareness, along with the 600 B.C. Yoga Upanishads are also referred to in Pat Anjali’s Yoga Sutras in 200 B.C. The Yoga Upanishads are a collection of The Cudamini Upanishads, the Yoga Shikka Upanishad, The Shri Jabala Darshana Upanishad, & the Shandilya Upanishad. They all mention chakras, but they are spelled cakra. The systems were passed down through oral traditions by Indo-European people. Historically, they became an Eastern Concept until New Age writers connected with the concept & then by building on earlier beliefs and writings made the information more accessible and then written very well.
The Vedas are the oldest yoga scriptures also written around the same time in India between 1500 & 500 B.C. In Indian academics, it is thought that the chakra systems are much older due to oral traditions before recorded scriptures & long before Indo-Europeans arrived. As such even today information & skills are passed through teachers & students through examples or oral history of the chakra systems. The history of Sri Amit Ray extends beyond 114 Chakras also.
The primary source of chakras making their way west is the translation by Arthur Avalon in his book The Serpent Power which was published in 1919. The Sat Cakra Nirupana was published in 1577 by Swami Purnananda, & the Padaka Pancaka both written in the 10th century & they both include descriptions & associations of the centers. The Gorakshashatakam has directions for meditation on the chakras. Today’s knowledge of Kundalini yoga, energy, and chakra theory is based on those writings. In the West, these writings are the main source of information on the chakras.
It is believed that the oral traditions being passed down, actually began 12,000 to 1000 BCE & then translated when the Avestan speaking peoples & those that have descended from the Indo-European & the Russian civilizations. The ideas were mixed with each other’s cultures & intertwined within the Indigenous cultures of the Indus Valley. Historians are of the belief that the Vedic texts actually reflect both philosophies, which also include information from more ancient cultures such as the Indians or the Dravidians.
Many cultures & countries around the world have different interpretations of the Chakras. The West tends to relate the chakras to bodily organs & the physical body… however they aren’t a static reality, they are a fluid reality with a flowing energy type of nature to them.
The psychological states that are now associated with the chakras in the West are actually an innovation that was from Carl Jung’s archetypal theories & isn’t usually found in the Sanskrit texts.
- Example: The Solar Plexus Chakra
- Associated with power & purpose in the modern Chakra systems but in the ancient context, it would associate with each lotus petal of the Chakra with a distinct emotional state.
The cross-cultural takeaway is that Chakras “can be used as general tools to heal & balance the energetic, physical, spiritual, & emotional bodies.” However, across the world, this varies a bit when you compare the systems with each other.
The Hermetic Texts of Egypt, India, & Persia almost all embrace the belief in intangible energy.
In Africa, the Kemetic Tree of Life came with the Egyptians who practiced magic & mystery teachings daily. Their focus was an energy body referred to as ka & worked with the Kemetic Tree of Life as a pathway from Earth to the Heavens.
Jewish mystics adopted the Kabbalah under the Egyptian influence of the time back to Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt. Early Egyptian energy contains concepts similar to the chakras & subtle energy bodies such as sekhem and “life force energy”. The ba is the soul that represents nonphysical energy.
The Yoruba tribe of Africa practiced magic & they had orishas or Spirits that dwell within the body, which happened to correlate to Hindu Chakra concepts.
“The Dogon tribe worked with sacred geometry & information received directly from their home star, Sirius, to help control living conditions & heal tribal members. The information they received from the stars was extremely mathematically accurate, far surpassing their technological abilities. Some say that these ancient cultures were always connected to galactic gateways, which allowed this transfer of universal knowledge.” (Complete Guide to Chakras)
In Hinduism energy of the ka body is considered to be prana (breath, life-giving force) or kundalini (energy that is coiled up at the base of the spine). In the Hindu text, Bhagavata-purana there are six Chakra centers indicated & two for other spiritual centers weren’t added until later for the higher spiritual practices.
Buddhist philosophy & the continuation of Tantric & yogic ideas, the Chakras are considered to be wheels that help to achieve emptiness or enlightenment. Sometimes there are fewer or more wheels (4, 5, 7, or 10) they all rely on tummo (Kundalini) for the ultimate awakening & integration of the full Chakra system.
The Middle East is loaded with different variations of the Chakra system. The Zoroastrians who are the authors of the scripture Avesta had the holy system Amesha Spentas or Divine Emanations which closely translated a six Chakra system.
The Sufis & the Jewish are rich in mystical cosmology also, and both have discussions around their vital energy bodies in sacred texts and teachings that relate the metaphysical realms to eternal creation lies within each one of us.
In North, South, & Meso America the Mayans, Incans, Andeans of Peru, the Huicholes, and other native cultures throughout time worked with the elements and physical locations of the Chakras on the body. Shamanic teachings and temple iconography show extensive knowledge of energy bodies and spirits from the land and sky.
In North America, the Cherokee had mystical connections to Pleiades & highlight body & Earth matrices, meridians, & interconnecting points on the body in their cosmology.
Over in Europe, the Vikings had an understanding of the Chakra systems that are symbolized by a tree with nine Norse Worlds. The Yggrdasil Tree connects the humans to Asgard, home of the Gods.
The Celts of Neolithic Britain had myths and lore of Gods & Goddesses with the contained concept of argano-rota (“silver wheel”)
It is said that in Avalon (a sacred Chakra of the Earth) the chakras were formed as the seven points of consciousness the top point being the Crown, housing the rest of the Chakras & not actually a Chakra itself.

Spell for Today – Five Pebbles Protection Spell
From shirleytwofeathers.com
Go to a moving brook or stream. While standing in the water and facing downstream, remove five small pebbles from the stream bed. As you do this, visualize your need for protection.
As your hand closes over the pebbles, see them beaming out protective energies. Just as the pebbles are hard and have weathered for eons, so too will they strengthen your protective shield.
Now carry them at all times for protection. If you wish, place them in a small pouch or a fold of cloth, or incorporate them into some form of jewelry.

Goddess – Minerva

Minerva – Facts and mythology from gods-and-goddesses.com
In Roman mythology, Minerva was a goddess jack-of-all-trades. She oversaw many realms that involved art and deep thought. She was regarded as the goddess of “all activities involving mental skill,” such as science, medicine, wisdom, handmade items, skilled professions, and trade. Later, she was seen as a goddess of war.
She was believed to have invented Roman numerals, or numbers, as well as a variety of musical instruments. Many researchers believe that the worship of Minerva in Rome was an extension of the cult of Athena, the Greek goddess with whom Minerva is equated. She may have been introduced to Italy by the Etruscans, who called her Menerva or Menvra. She was said to have had golden hair.
Myths & Stories
Minerva plays a role in many of Rome’s myths. For instance, in the Roman poet Ovid’s Metamorphoses, Minerva is jealous of the lowly human Arachne’s ability to craft objects of wool, as Arachne’s skill rivals her own. Nymphs, humans, and others would travel great distances to view Arachne’s creations and to watch her work.
Minerva had taught Arachne this skill, but she was jealous of her teacher in turn and would give Minerva no credit. Instead, she invited Minerva to compete with her in weaving. Therefore, Minerva disguises herself as an old woman and advises Arachne to entreat Minerva’s forgiveness. When Arachne refuses, Minerva reveals herself and the contest begins. Both woman and goddess weave beautiful tapestries on their looms.
Minerva once again tries to teach Arachne a lesson by weaving into her tapestry scenes of humans losing to gods in various contests, and even her own failure against the god Neptune. Obstinate Arachne replies with weavings of the gods’ less than honorable activities, such as seducing both mortals and immortals. When finished, Minerva could find no flaw in Arachne’s tapestry, yet she “tore up the embroidered tapestry with its stories of the gods’ shameful deeds.”
Then, she beats Arachne’s face with a wooden weaving tool. Arachne tries to strange herself with a noose, but Minerva does not let her perish. Instead, she turned her into a spider through the use of a magic herb, saying she and her descendants would always hang and always weave. Today, spiders are known as “arachnids” due to this myth.
Worship
Along with Jupiter and Juno, Minerva was worshiped as part of the Capitoline Triad, or trinity. They shared a temple on the Capitoline Hill in Rome. A temple devoted exclusively to Minerva was located on the Aventine Hill. This shrine served as a meeting place for the guilds of craftsmen, actors, and poets. Physicians worshiped this goddess as the patroness Minerva Medica.
Minerva was worshiped as a goddess of war alongside the god Mars. After a number of conquests on the Roman Empire’s eastern border, a temple to Minerva was built in Pompey – no doubt funded by the spoils of war. Her worship in Rome reached a peak in the first century A.D. when she was claimed as a special, personal protector by Emperor Domitian.
Festivals
Two events dedicated to Minerva were marked on the Roman Calendar. The first was known as the Quinquatria, celebrated by students and artisans on March 19-23, just after the Ides of March, made famous by the assassination of Julius Caesar and subsequent play by William Shakespeare. On June 13, a shorter observance called the minor Quinquatrus was celebrated. The Quintratrus was also the time of school holidays and when fees for schooling became due. Thus, Minerva was seen as a patron of schoolchildren as well as the skilled workers they would someday become. Minerva shared her festivals with the war god Mars. She was often identified with Nerio, the Sabine goddess who became the consort of Mars.
Today
Today, a church called Santa Maria sopra Minerva is located in a former temple to Minerva. Minerva’s interest in the sciences and pursuit of wisdom still lives in the moniker of the Japanese MINERVA space exploration robot. MINERVA, in this case, is an acronym for MIcro/Nano Experimental Robot Vehicle for Asteroid.
Gods – Mercury

Mercury • Facts & Mythology about the Roman god of communication, trade, business
Mercury is the messenger to the Roman gods. He is well known for his incredible speed. Originally, Mercury was a god of trade related to the corn crop. In fact, his name is derived from the Latin word merces, meaning “merchandise.”
Mercury, who is sometimes referred to as Mercurius, was also lauded as the protector of merchants, travelers, and shopkeepers. He was also defamed as the patron of thieves and those who played practical jokes.
Origins
In early Roman mythology, there was no mention of Mercury as a member of the ruling class of gods. Eventually, he was absorbed into Roman culture from the Greek god Hermes, messenger of the Greek gods. Mercury carried out many of the same functions as Hermes.
Mercury was the son of Jupiter, the Roman equivalent of the Greek god Zeus. The story of the birth of Mercury held that Jupiter secretly impregnated the goddess Maia in a cave on the island of Arcadia. The following day, Maia gave birth to Mercury before wrapping him in swaddling blankets and falling asleep. As his mother slept, Mercury raced across Arcadia to steal cattle from his brother, Apollo, before returning to his mother.
Maia woke to the sight of Mercury wrapped in his swaddling blanket and Apollo accusing him of stealing his cattle. Eventually, Jupiter stepped in to reveal he had watched Mercury steal the cattle and ordered their return. During the night, Mercury had fashioned a lyre from cattle intestines and began playing beautiful music. This inspired Apollo to ask for a trade of the cattle for the lyre.
Appearance
In most portrayals, Mercury is shown as a youthful god of Rome who is clean-shaven and is often little more than a child. Mercury is depicted in Roman artworks as wearing a helmet and sandals with attached wings that reflect his speed and position as the messenger of the gods. The son of Jupiter is also the god of commerce, leading him to being shown in some sculptures and paintings holding a purse.
Symbols
There are many symbols associated with Mercury, including his winged cap and sandals that reflect the speed of the Roman god. Mercury is often depicted as carrying a staff, which was a symbol the members of his cult added to their daily lives.
Mercury is associated with many animals, including the tortoise that played a role in his first day of life. Mercury used the shell of a tortoise to fashion the lyre he would trade for the cattle of Apollo. The tortoise would become a common symbol of Mercury throughout Roman culture and be accompanied by his close links to the ram and the rooster.
The rooster is the symbol of the new day that is brought by Mercury as a messenger of the gods. The ram is a symbol of fertility for the Roman people and is often seen with Mercury in stories and artworks.
Powers & Duties
Mercury’s main power is his ability to move at great speeds. He is most well-known for his role as a messenger to the gods. Interestingly, the role of the messenger also included the task of conducting the passage of individuals from Rome to the underworld when they died.
Mercury is also one of the most duplicitous gods in Roman culture. He is known for his trickery and ability to cheat people out of their belongings.
Myths & Stories
Mercury plays a role in many myths. As noted above, he is said to have stolen cattle and a bow and arrow when just a child. In the myth of Cupid and Psyche, he is called upon by Jupiter to make a proclamation demanding the capture of Psyche.
In the Aeneid, he is sent by Jupiter to Aeneas with orders to leave his lover and “sail away to fulfill his destiny in Italy.” He also plays a role in Roman poetry and theater, much of which was based on mythology.
In the play Amphitruo by the dramatist Plautus, Mercury dresses as a servant and aids Jupiter in disguing himself Amphitryon in order to seduce Amphitryon’s wife.
The poet Horace wrote of him in his Odes. In fact, Horace called himself mercurialis, meaning a lyric poet protected by Mercury.
Many of the myths of Mercury are derived from those of Hermes. Monuments to Hermes were thought to bring good luck, and this idea was perpetuated with Mercury as well. Another borrowed role was that of escorting the souls of the deceased to the underworld. It is speculated that the myths originated among shepherds, lending their interest in “music and fertility.” In fact, in some legends, Mercury is said to have invented the guitar-like lyre, and his son is said to have been a nymph who invented the music of the pastoral societies.
Worship
A temple to Mercury was dedicated on Rome’s Aventine Hill in 495 B.C. The festival of Mercuralia was held on May 15, the anniversary of the temple dedication, in honor of both Mercury and his mother Maia of the Pleiades. Rituals of this festival involved merchants drawing water from the well at Porta Capena to be sprinkled on their trade goods and on their own heads. Trade fairs were also held at the temple, and it was the location of Rome’s busy commercial center.
Art
In art and statues, Mercury is typically depicted as a handsome young man, even boyish in appearance, wearing a white garment. Mercury often carries a money purse, symbolizing his function as patron of merchants and business owners. His fleetness as messenger of the gods is represented by a hat or sandals with wings, called petasus and talaria, respectively. Mercury was thus called Alipes, meaning “with the winged feet.” He is also seen carrying a staff called a caduceus. The caduceus was a symbol of peace, carried by ambassadors to foreign lands. It consisted of a branch with two shoots, originally decorated with ribbons or garlands. In later times, these attributes were replaced by two twining snakes, with a pair of wings above the snakes. The snakes were related to Mercury’s role as a fertility god and in delivering souls to the underworld. Today, this symbol is used to represent physicians, the medical field, and the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
Today
Like many mythical figures, Mercury has been immortalized in the naming of celestial objects. The planet Mercury, as visible just after sunset, was called in ancient times by his Greek counterpart, Hermes. This was likely due to the planet’s rapid motion in comparison to other stellar objects. Interestingly, Mercury’s morning visitation, just before sunrise, was not recognized as being the same “star;” it was thus called Apollos. The element mercury (Hg) , atomic number 80 on the periodic table, was once known as “quicksilver.” The symbol for the planet Mercury was used to represent quicksilver in sixth century alchemy, and thus the chemical took on the name of the god as well.
Facts about Mercury

- The French translation of Wednesday is Mercredi. In Italian it is Mercoledì. Both are derived from the Latin word for Mercury.

Remember that the goals you have will take you to the future you want. It is time to trust your potential and keep working until you see things change in your life. Equally, you are the meaning of change because you are a better person. Notably, no one should discourage you from living the life that you want.
Significance of Diamond Symbolism
The diamond symbol has long been valued for its immaculate beauty. Its physical appearance associates with valuable attributes that are relevant to living a meaningful life, such as purity, clarity, and wisdom. The series of triangles making up the diamond shape has been present in the realm of design across every culture, religion, and period of time, expressing the same themes as the other physical characteristics of diamonds.
Additionally, the diamond shape plays a major role in alchemy, as the four sides indicate the four natural elements: earth, air, fire, and water. The wisdom that diamonds evoke is not an ordinary one: it is of a higher nature that goes above the trivialities of everyday life. This wisdom speaks to us of our ability to choose.
In our spiritual lives, we often find ourselves surrounded by a dense “fog” that obstructs our ability to see clearly. By calling upon the teachings of the diamond meaning, we enable ourselves to see our purpose in a new light. Difficult decisions and situations may become easier to decipher, and the correct path for each of us can be seen in a different light.
Diamond – Symbolic Meaning
Diamonds are recognized as representatives of symbolic values across many cultures. The Native Americans considered diamonds to be signatures of the butterfly, which Indian cultures identify as a sign of immortality. Butterflies live in migratory patterns, traveling hundreds of miles to return to their homes.
Native American ideology viewed this as very powerful and symbolic. Specifically, the butterfly’s journey back to their homes was interpreted symbolically as the soul’s journey to its rightful place. As humans, we come into the world and hit the ground running, moving through our lives quickly and often without insight.
The butterfly, and thus the diamond, serves as a reminder to pay attention to seeking our true identity and sticking to the path that is right for each of us. Each of us will leave a heritage behind, making our legacy immortal, especially when considering nature.
Messages Conveyed By Diamond Symbols
Along with immortality and being true to oneself, the diamond symbolism conveys messages of rebirth, revival, and transformation. This directly applies to us spiritually. We must continually strive to better ourselves. Probably by letting go of past inhibitions and follies, searching for truth and clarity, and bettering ourselves through proactive change.
As stated above, the diamond symbol is constructed from a series of triangles, of which each combination possesses its own representations and cultural meanings. When four triangles come together to form a square, the resulting shape is thought to be a symbol of a harmonious and stable Earth.
The core, where the points of each diamond meet, symbolizes the unity that exists between all creatures and elements of the earth and the foundational energy that flows through all of us. Taking that into consideration, this symbol was then used for magic rituals of energetic clarification.
When two diamonds, or rather two parts of the diamond, are placed together to form the shape of an hourglass, the resulting symbol can be identified as a depiction of enlightenment and ultimate truth. It is recognized in old northern European cultures as a symbol of dawn, making this interpretation accurate and comprehensible.
Diamond Symbolism: A Great Future
This is a highly valued symbol, as insight, awakening, and deep awareness are the most desired traits in spiritual quests. The two triangles that make up this symbol complement each other and thus represent partnerships. In nature, this can correspond to male and female, day and night, and time and space, with the center point denoting the exact connection between the two.
The final symbol that we will consider is the standard diamond, made up of two triangles facing opposite ways. In ancient cultures such as the Futhark runic system, this geometrical shape acts as the symbol of creation, as it resembles a woman’s birth canal.
It is the shape of life, encompassing all other triangle representations and alchemical symbolic values. More literally, diamonds are made of carbon, which is one of the building blocks of all life. By studying and examining the messages of this diamond gemstone, we open our minds to greater understanding and more mindful living.
Diamond Symbolism: Spiritual Meaning
Generally, diamond symbolism implies that you need to learn to have mental strength. Basically, the changes that you are going to face can be very challenging. The weak will not dare to face them because they fear failing. More so, you have to take a spiritual path in order to achieve something precious in your life. A spiritual path is a path that is full of goodies ad those who are willing to take it will have something to say in the end. Remember that someone courageous will be willing to take the path because he has the ability to see the goodies in it.
More so, the Diamond symbol meaning explains the things that you need to do in life in order to improve your life. Besides, you should learn to surround yourself with better people who can make your life great. Nevertheless, your lie will glow because of the hard work you are giving out. Actually, you will feel that you are going to become better because of the things that you do in life. Perhaps, today can make a great difference in your life. Thus, be creative and do things that will make you rise above your fears. Equally, you have the knowledge and wisdom to build a future that will glitter forever.
Summary
Diamond symbolic meaning indicates that you need to be with the right group of people who will treasure your life. Remember that you are better than what they see in your physical appearance. You can make yourself a stronger person because your life is full of great values. The power you have will take you to the destination you want. Basically, you will become who you want to become. Just make progress on your mission. Equally, you can build up your life to become someone better that everyone will be looking up to.
Crystal, Gems, and Stones Meanings and Magickal Usage – Diamonds
The Healing Energies, Metaphysical Properties, Legendary Uses and Meaning of Diamond from crystalvaults.com
(April’s birthstone)
Introduction to the Meaning and Uses of Diamond
A legend claims the God of Mines called his courtiers to bring together all the world’s known gems: Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds, etc. etc., and he found them to be of all tints and colors and varying hardnesses. He took one of each and crushed them; he compounded them together, and declared, “Let this be something that will combine the beauty of all.” He spoke, and lo, the Diamond was born…pure as a dewdrop and invincible in hardness. Yet when its ray is resolved in the spectrum, it displays all the colors of the gems from which it was made. [Kunz, 325-326]
Though it is a gem of winter, the color of ice, Diamond is a crystal of Light; its high frequency energy is dispersed into flashing prisms of brilliant “fire” that typifies the sun. It is a spiritual stone, a symbol of perfection and illumination, activating the Crown and Etheric Chakras. It enhances inner vision and stimulates creativity, imagination, and ingenuity, opening the mind to the “new” and “possible.” Placed on the Third Eye, a Diamond encourages psychic development, and is a valuable tool for remote viewing, telepathic communication and clairvoyance. [Kunz, 325][Melody, 243] [Megemont, 78][Ahsian, 135-136]
In addition to its spiritual power, Diamond has an unconquerable hardness and has been known since antiquity as a “Stone of Invincibility,” bringing victory, superior strength, fortitude and courage to its wearer. It is associated with lightning and fearlessness, and for its properties of protection. It is a symbol of wealth and manifesting abundance in one’s life, an amplifier of energies, goals and intent, and is highly effective in magnifying the vibrations of other crystals for healing. It is particularly beneficial set in gold and worn on the left arm. [Kunz, 70-71][Gienger, 33][Fernie, 66, 69][Hall, 122-123]
The Diamond, in its rarity and beauty, is a symbol of purity and innocence, of love and fidelity, and embraces strength of character, ethics, and faithfulness to oneself and others. It is indicative of the loving and open nature with which one came into the physical realm, and encourages the aspect of truth and trust. It is a love-bearing crystal, regarded in antiquity as dependable in its virtues only when received as a gift. Today the engagement ring, wedding ring, and other articles of jewelry symbolize the gift of persons in love. [Gienger, 33][Ahsian, 136][Melody, 243][Kunz, 73][Mella, 84]
Perfect in structure, Diamond is referred to as the “king of gems,” unique in its powers of light reflection and dispersion, and the hardest natural substance known. Composed of pure carbon, the foundational element of life, it is the one and only “10” on the hardness scale, crystallized deep in the earth’s mantle under intense heat and pressure. Its name is derived from the Greek adamas, meaning “indomitable,” “unbreakable,” or “untamable,” and diaphanus, meaning “transparent.” [www.mindat.org][www.gemdat.org][Fernie, 64-65][Mella, 82][Megemont, 77]
Diamond’s crystal symmetry is cubic, forming in a variety of octahedrons, triangles, cubes and amorphous shapes, and may be transparent, translucent or opaque, with a greasy luster and perfect cleavage. Diamond is most often thought of as colorless, though it also forms in white, black, and various shades of yellow, brown, blue, green, pink, red, champagne-tan, cognac-brown, and very rarely, lilac. While quality Diamonds are carefully cut into gems and used in jewelry, lesser Diamonds are used in industrial applications, especially for cutting and polishing. For metaphysical use, Diamond crystals are preferred to cut Diamonds because the natural shape acts to strengthen and harmonize the energies moving through them. [www.mindat.org][Simmons, 134-135]
Diamond Uses and Purposes
Diamonds are great conductors and amplifiers of energy, absorbing thoughts and feelings then radiating them outward. Remain positive while holding or wearing Diamonds to project empowering thoughts around you and attract a positive reaction from others. They can be useful in the workplace for a congenial atmosphere, or for expanding the field of opportunities in attracting prosperity. Be aware, however, Diamonds increase negative energies as well as positive, and while they never need re-charging, it is a good idea to cleanse their energies from time to time. [Mella, 84][Hall, 122-123][Eason, 136][Simmons, 135]
A Diamond is a symbol of wealth, accumulation and the manifestation of abundance. It is also an ideal stone for the ascetic who has given up on material wealth, choosing it instead as an object for diligent contemplation and deep meditation. The fact it must be cut to reveal its beauty compares to the inner, spiritual beauty of the human being. [Hall, 122][Megemont, 78]
Diamond crystals assist in relieving fear and anxiety, overactive imaginations and hallucinations. It is great for clearing a room before bedtime to prevent nightmares, and may be used to cleanse an area of unwanted entities. [Fernie, 66]
Rough Diamond elixir is marvelous for counteracting exhaustion. Add a few drops in the bath to re-energize. [Eason, 136] Raw crystals are ideal for healing to bring clarity of energy to any part of the body or any level of the energy field. Faceted gems may be used to infuse the aura with full-spectrum Light energy, reflecting all hues and frequencies for strengthening and cleansing. [Ahsian, 136]
According to the German mystic, Hildegard of Bingen, sucking on a Diamond will keep one from lying. It will also fool hunger, making it easier to fast. [Megemont, 78]

Diamond Physical Healing Energy
Diamond is considered a master healer for its ability to unify the mind and body. It is best used as a support stone, amplifying the powers of other minerals when working on specific issues, especially where congestion of energy has caused a physical imbalance. [Eason, 136][Ahsian, 136]
The Diamond is beneficial in purifying and strengthening brain function, nerves and sensory organs. It is thought to aid in balancing the brain hemispheres, and to be good for strokes, epilepsy, and to combat aging of the cells and restoring energy levels. It should be avoided in cases of paranoid psychosis, depressive manias, and obsessive jealousy. [Gienger, 33][Eason, 136][Megemont, 78-79]
Diamonds have been used to cure constipation, urine retention, and in general, all organs concerned with removing waste from the body. Applying a Diamond at the kidneys is reputed to accelerate the evacuation of stones. As the effect will persist after it has been removed, it is recommended to proceed in short sessions of five minutes. [Megemont, 78-79]
Diamond Emotional Healing Energy
While Diamonds do not work directly on the emotional body, their intense energy can amplify the power of any emotional state, from bliss to despair, and should be worn with vigilance. It may even be necessary to remove them if one is in a particularly bad frame of mind. However, Diamonds infuse all levels of the energetic self with Light and may be used therapeutically to intensify and “burn through” underlying emotional issues, allowing one to feel lighter, more joyful, and more aligned with Spirit. [Simmons, 135][Ahsian, 136]
Diamond Chakra Healing and Balancing Energy
Diamond carries a high-frequency energy that stimulates and opens all of the chakras, especially the Crown and Etheric Chakras. [Ahsian, 135]
The Crown Chakra is located at the top of the head, and is our gateway to the expanded universe beyond our bodies. It controls how we think, and how we respond to the world around us. It is the fountainhead of our beliefs and the source of our spirituality. It connects us to the higher planes of existence and is the source of universal energy and truth. When the Crown is in balance, our energies are in balance. We know our place in the universe and see things as they are. We are unruffled by setbacks, knowing they are an essential part of life.
Etheric Chakras are considered to be above the head and are attuned to higher, more spiritually enlightened things. They embody true humility and provide a soul connection, the highest self-illumination, and a cosmic doorway to other worlds. [Hall II, 366] Diamonds in particular identify with the immortal part of the self – personal identification with the Infinite, and oneness with God, peace and wisdom. [Raphell, 159, 164]
Diamond Spiritual Energy
For anyone who has lost their identity or self-worth, is confused, reluctant or unable to step into their spiritual destiny in this life, the Diamond brings a sense of radiance, a loving energy that clears the aura and fills the emptiness with purity and Light. It links with the Divine, and as the evolution and required growth manifests within the heart, it allows the soul’s light to shine out and be shared with others. [Eason, 136][Ahsian, 135][Melody, 243-244][Hall, 123]
Diamond also encourages one to look at the struggles and hardships of life and see if the lessons and growth they’ve provided can be used in a positive way. The Diamond lends strength in dealing with high-pressure situations and assists in responding with grace. It asks us to be a model of fortitude in times of adversity, and helps one understand it is in these difficult times our behavior reveals our true inner beauty and our soul’s knowledge. [Ahsian, 135]
Diamond Color Energy
The clear, colorless Diamond is not influenced by color energy; rather it is a stone of light, an ideal prism, diffusing all the colors of the spectrum.
Diamonds also form in many colors, adding their own unique properties to the energy of the stone. (See Crystal Color Energy under Free Guides)
Meditation with Diamond
Diamond crystals are perfect transducers, allowing the high-frequency vibrational energies of the spirit realms to be more available to the conscious self. Used in meditation, especially when placed on the Third Eye, these crystals facilitate the entry into meaningful visionary states and may heighten one’s psychic powers. Placing a second Diamond over the heart activates the energetic circuit between the two vital centers and influences them to act in synergistic union as Nature intended. [Simmons, 135]
Diamond Divination
The Divinatory meaning of Diamond: Proof of your abilities will come from an unexpected source. [Eason, 136]
Dreaming of Diamonds signifies victory over enemies. [Kunz, 358]
Diamond and the Angelic Realm
Diamonds often carry the energies of angelic beings that are aligned with courage and Light, and inspire us to bravely express our most sacred self. [Ahsian, 136] If your birthday falls in any of the following periods, a colorless Diamond can be a valuable conduit to your Guardian Angel. The table also provides the name of the Guardian Angel of those born in the time period.
Date/Name of Guardian Angel
There are other Angels that are partial to Diamonds. The table below gives you the information about them.
Purpose/Name of Angel
Diamond Goddess Crystals
Diamonds honor Angerona, the Roman Goddess of Silence, and the Goddess of the Winter Solstice. She is not only the protector of secrets, but brings the birth of the New Year.
Clear crystals may also be used to honor Kundalini, the Hindu Life Force Goddess; and Latona, the Roman Goddess of Light.
Diamond Talismans and Amulets
The Diamond has been used since antiquity as a talisman against cowardice, and is traditionally worn against the skin for courage and to enhance invulnerability. It rallies strength with age, and brings emotional and intellectual confidence. [Melody, 243][Eason, 136]
Diamond is an Enhancer Purifier crystal. Enhancers have internal crystal lattices of perfect cubic symmetry and internal harmony. As “building block” talismans, their internal structure helps focus our efforts to build on our successes and enhance our lives. They concentrate our energy on the improvements we desire and thought patterns that will produce the actions needed to bring them about.
Purifiers are the natural elements of nature. Only a few, such as gold, silver, copper, sulfur and carbon (as Diamond) are found in a pure state and are suitable as talismans. They carry the earth power to assist our efforts in accomplishing goals where a higher purpose transcends our own personal needs. They promote truth and honor, patience and courage, and protecting innocence. They inspire spiritual growth and aid in our quests to remain faithful to a partner or an ideal.
Diamond Feng Shui
Diamond crystals are perfect “energy dispersers” in any window. As a natural prism, they take light and energy from the sun and disperse it freely within the room. They offer an indoor sun world for warmth, strength and vitality.

Archangel – Metatron

Who Is Archangel Metatron? from ask-angels.com
Keeper of the Book of Life
Archangel Metatron is powerful Archangel of immense spiritual fire, wisdom and divine light.
He is actively involved in guiding and supporting humanity at this time…
And so, I tuned in to Metatron directly, and asked what he most wanted for humanity to know and understand about his work and spiritual power now.
5 Things You Need to Know About Metatron
1. Metatron Was Involved In the Formation of the Sacred Geometry Structure of the Cosmos
Archangel Metatron holds the crystalline sacred geometry template of the matrix, and also the template for the awakened earth. This mystery can be understood by learning about Metatron’s cube.
He is one of the angels directly involved in creating the structure of Creation, and therefore holds the template for living an awakened life.
He can support you in aligning with this higher template accessible through resonance.
As a result of his connection with the geometric structure of the cosmos, the hidden script behind creation, seeing geometric forms in conjunction with Metatron’s presence can be one of the calling cards that he’s with you.
Children and sensitive individuals like the star children, are especially receptive to living in alignment with these higher templates, and so Metatron is known to work with and support them.
He can help children, and all who are receptive and willing to transcend karma, clear limiting beliefs and align with higher timelines.
2. The Angel of Life and Overseer of the Akashic Records
Metatron is commonly referred to as an “Angel of Life”. This is due to his role with the Akashic records.
The Akashic Records contain accounts of everything that happens within the vast multi-dimensional spheres of Heaven and Earth.
As the Angel of Life, he can help you search the Akashic Record to uncover past soul wisdom, as well as future timelines, and trajectories.
This knowledge can help you sync with the highest timeline for your soul journey, that is perhaps not the timeline you are currently on due to past choices, programming, limiting beliefs, past life traumas, or parallel incarnations.
With awareness, and by making changes in the present you can adjust your trajectory.
3. “Packed Thought-forms” And Spiritual Downloads
Archangel Metatron is an incredibly advanced, and high vibrational being. As such, his highest communication happens in the form of “packed thought forms” or divine downloads of spiritual power and wisdom that are vast and multi-dimensional.
Packed thought-forms can be realized in their full extent by elevating your awareness above the level of normal understanding.
Meditation can help you to elevate awareness so you can tune in to the higher perspectives of divine love, embodiment of your divine truth, and the complete guidance of Metatron.
When you’re not aware at a higher level of divine consciousness, Metaron may communicate in the following ways:
- Through feeling
- Through an impulse to take action.
- Through a thought pattern/ intuitive nudge
When you receive communication in the above ways, there is more available for you to tune into.
Metatron may support you in unlocking this higher level of divine communication by activating your crown chakra so your awareness can elevate into higher energy centers of divine communication and the deeper meaning of messages and teachings he’s conveying can be revealed.
Crown Chakra tingles are a common experience you may have when your crown chakra is opening.
4. The Metatron Cube
One of the gifts Metatron has revealed to humanity is a Merkaba Star called Metatron’s cube or sometimes called the Metatron symbol.
It’s a geometric, multidimensional form that is made of light, color, sound, spiritual fire and frequency.
13 spheres of creation create the Merkaba star and unlock entire levels of understanding, healing, and experience.
The nature of the cube is very multidimensional. There’s an immense amount of knowledge and understanding you can receive through it.
- Metatron’s cube holds the script of Creation, the secrets of the universe and the template for reality.
- It can be used as a vehicle for multidimensional travel into the higher spheres.
- Can be used as a 12D Archangel Metatron Protection Shield
- It has powerful healing ability.

Metatron is focused on serving humanity in the ascension process and in creating heaven on earth.
One of the ways he does this is supporting us in accessing our Divine I Am Presence through the Ascension Pillar of Light.
The Ascension Pillar is a core of light at the center of your being that expands around you.
It anchors you to the crystalline core of earth below, and flows up through your open heart, up along the center of your being, out crown at the top of your head connecting you to the Source of All That Is.
Metatron is available to help you activate it through a top down initiation.

What Planets Will Be Retrograde April 2023?
This month, Mercury will station retrograde for the second time this year, marking an important period of review, refinement, and renegotiation. Although Mercury retrogrades are incredibly common, they still find a way to be somewhat of a nuisance, particularly when it comes to communicating effectively. Fortunately, unlike January, Mercury will be the sole planet retrograde this month, so there shouldn’t be too much chaos. BUT, this retrograde is right on the heels of the first eclipse of 2023, so April’s energy is bound to feel a bit disorderly.
What To Expect From April 2023’s Retrograde Planets
Mercury Retrograde (April 21-May 15)
On April 21, Mercury will station retrograde in the fixed earth sign of Taurus at 15 degrees, bringing forth a period of revisions, reevaluations, and reflections in everyone’s birth chart. Mercury retrograde is a time to rethink ideas, perspectives, and viewpoints that you’ve been uncertain about, to get a better understanding of how you’d like to move forward. In the security-oriented sign of Taurus, Mercury’s concerned with establishing a strong sense of stability. However, as the planet of communication retrogrades through this sign, it may not feel incredibly easy to do so. While change may not be easy now, it’s important not to become too rigid with what brings you comfort, particularly when it comes to your mindset. Be sure to consider the different ways that you can obtain the ease and comfort you seek, because it may be in a way that you haven’t thought of before.
The Taurus-ruled house in your birth chart is where you can expect the most upheaval, especially since Mercury will be conjunct Uranus, the planet of disruption and sudden change, when it stations. This area of your chart is where you tend to crave the most consistency in your life, so it may not feel super comfy embracing adjustments here — at least until Mercury stations direct on May 15. Try to remain as flexible as you can now, even if you feel like what’s familiar to you is changing. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Pink Moon: Full Moon for April 2023
From the Old Farmer’s Almanac
Prepare for the Full Pink Moon—and the Paschal Full Moon!
April’s full Moon drifts into the sky on the night of Wednesday, April 5, reaching peak illumination at 12:37 A.M. EDT on the 6th! Traditionally called the Pink Moon, this full Moon is also the Paschal full Moon this year. Here’s everything you should know about the Moon this month, including facts, folklore, and Moon phase dates.
When to See the Full Moon in April 2023
Venture outside on the night of Wednesday, April 5, to catch a glimpse of April’s full Pink Moon. This full Moon actually reaches peak illumination at 12:37 A.M. Eastern Time on Thursday, April 6, which means that it will be at its peak on the night of April 5 in more westerly time zones.
For the best view of this lovely spring Moon, find an open area and watch as the Moon rises just above the horizon, at which point it will appear its biggest and take on a golden hue! (Find local Moon rise and set times here.)
Paschal Full Moon: The First Full Moon of Spring
This year, April’s full Moon is the first full Moon of the spring season, which began with the spring equinox on March 20, 2023. This means that April’s full Moon is the Paschal Full Moon—an important Moon to those who celebrate Easter, since Easter’s date depends on the date of the Paschal Full Moon.
Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon (i.e., the first full Moon of spring), which means that it will be celebrated this year on Sunday, April 9 (following the full Moon on April 5-6).
Why Is It Called the Pink Moon?
The full Moon names used by The Old Farmer’s Almanac come from a number of places, including Native American, Colonial American, and European sources. Traditionally, each full Moon name was applied to the entire lunar month in which it occurred, not only to the full Moon.
The Pink Moon
Although we wish this name had to do with the color of the Moon, the reality is not quite as mystical or awe-inspiring. In truth, April’s full Moon often corresponded with the early springtime blooms of a certain wildflower native to eastern North America: Phlox subulata—commonly called creeping phlox or moss phlox—which also went by the name “moss pink.”
Thanks to this seasonal association, this full Moon came to be called the “Pink” Moon!
Alternative April Moon Names
In April Moon names, references to spring abound! Breaking Ice Moon (Algonquin) and Moon When the Streams Are Again Navigable (Dakota) reference the melting ice and increased mobility of the early spring season, while Budding Moon of Plants and Shrubs (Tlingit) and Moon of the Red Grass Appearing (Oglala) speak to the plant growth that will soon kick into high gear.
Other names refer to the reappearance of certain animals, including Moon When the Ducks Come Back (Lakota), Moon When the Geese Lay Eggs (Dakota), and Frog Moon (Cree). Along the same vein, Sucker Moon (Anishinaabe) notes the time to harvest sucker fish, which return to streams or lake shallows to spawn. According to legend, now is the time when this fish comes back from the spirit world to purify bodies of water and the creatures living in them. (This name may also be applied to the February Moon, to honor the sacrifice of the sucker fish in order to feed the Anishinaabe peoples, traditionally helping them to survive the winter.)

April’s Full Pink Moon
April’s full moon is widely known as the Full Pink Moon, even though it doesn’t actually turn pastel pink as the name suggests. The Full Pink Moon’s name comes from the abundance of moss phlox, a common little pink flower that typically begins to spread across the ground in early spring. With that said, this creeping phlox is not the only thing that begins blooming during the Full Pink Moon.
In many Native American tribes, April’s full moon is associated with the bustling life and vibrant growth of spring. In Sioux culture, it’s named after the sprouting of red grass. The Comanche tribe called it the New Spring Moon, and both the Tlingit and Sioux tribes referred to it as the Budding Moon, after the new plants that begin to bud and sprout during spring. The Cherokee tribe even called it the Flower Moon (though that name is also sometimes used to refer to May’s full moon), and celebrated it for the growth of useful medicinal plants and magical herbs.
At the same time, April is a time when rivers and streams begin to fully thaw. Accordingly, the Shoshone tribe named April’s full moon the Full Melting Moon, and the Arapaho tribe called it the Moon Where Ice Breaks in the River. It was also known as the Fish Moon because of the fish that would begin to swim upstream during this time. The Cherokees believed that flowing water was under the control of a spirit called the Long Man, and so would perform rituals to honor him during the Full Pink Moon. An example of a ritual like this was the Knee Deep Dance, based off the movements of the Water Frog. The Assiniboine tribe also called April’s full moon the Frog Moon.
Water is not the only thing that starts to flow during the Full Pink Moon – this is also the time where maple sap begins to flow in earnest, marking the true beginning of the incredibly important sugar-making season. The Abenaki tribes called April’s full moon the Sugar Maker Moon, and the Ojibwe called it the Sugarbush Moon. The Ojibwe tribe would journey north to their spring camps to tap maple syrup and engage in spear fishing. Maple syrup was integral to Ojibwe culture: not only was it a crucial method of seasoning all their foods (they did not have access to salt at that time), but it also symbolized harmony within the community and with the forces of nature around them.
The Full Pink Moon also holds religious significance in other cultures. For example, in Islamic communities around the world, April’s full moon is celebrated as Bara’at Night, also known as the Night of Innocence. Muslims offer up prayers, asking God to absolve dead ancestors of their sins. They also prepare sweet desserts such as halwa or zarda and give it out to children, the needy, and other members of their community. Meanwhile, Christians call it the Paschal Moon, and celebrate the first Sunday after April’s full moon as Easter Sunday. It’s possible that the reason why the Easter Bunny brings eggs is because April’s full moon is also known as the Egg Moon, given that animals such as geese begin mating and laying eggs in spring.
