A Prosperity Charm

A Prosperity Charm

To ensure that money will enter the house all year round, take one silver or gold coin for each external door to the house

The coins will almost certainly be gold or silver coloured rather than actually made of the metals concerned.  Then take the same number of circular pieces of paper.  Wash the coin(s) carefully under running water for 10 minutes and then dry them in a new cloth or tissue.  On the paper(s) draw a picture of your family and around it draw pictures to represent all things you need (not want) money for.  Remember to include rent, taxes, light, heat, food, transport, pets, etc.  Wrap each coin in one of the papers and, if you are able, bury one just outside the threshold of each door.  Whilst you are burying the coin(s) say, “I call upon the Old Gods to help us make the most opportunities to bring money into this house.  May those who live here ever have enough for their needs and commitments.  Give each of us the true rewards of our work and may our family be happy and secure in this home.  Blessed Be.” Whilst you are doing this, visualize members of the family with coins in their pockets entering the home.  If it is not possible to actually bury them, then slip them down a crack at the base of the door, or just under the carpet on the inside.  It is important that everyone who enters the house, and all posts, must pass over the coins.

“Never give an empty purse, lest both the giver and taker be likewise coinless.”

A Little Humor for Your Day – Strength, Ability, and Intelligence

Strength, Ability, and Intelligence

One day three men were walking along and came upon a raging, violent river. They needed to get to the other side, but had no idea of how to do it. The first man prayed to the gods saying, “Please, give me the strength to cross this river.”

Poof! He was given big arms and strong legs, and he was able to swim across the river in about two hours.

Seeing this, the second man prayed saying, “Please, give me the strength and ability to cross this river.”

Poof ! He was given a rowboat and he was able to row across the river in about three hours.

The third man had seen how this worked out for the other two, so he also prayed, saying, “Please, give me the strength, ability, and intelligence to cross this river.”

And Poof! He was turned into a woman.

She looked at the map, then walked across the bridge.

An image of estrangement is indicated here. One example used in ancient Chinese texts is how when brothers and sisters marry, they grow apart, since their allegiances now lie with new family groups. Though they will remain close enough to successfully deal with problems and share minor interests, they will be unable to undertake anything big together. Simply put, when people grow apart — even for the most natural of reasons — their points of view, values and interests start to diverge.

Diverging interests bring opposition into the world of human affairs. And when differences morph into alienation and enmity, no good results. But when opposition takes the form of healthy competition, or when contrasting energies or positions are seen as part of the natural order of things, good fortune is still possible.

Even when diverging energies make a situation seem stagnant or futile, there are always creative possibilities inherent in polarities. One is reminded of the yin-yang interplay that is fundamental to the creation of life itself. But when opposition arises from issues of principle, you must hold to your integrity and individuality. And avoid becoming involved with vulgar or base people who do not share your values. With both people and companies, one measure of stature is the quality of the competition.

Ok, I’m back…..This place is busy today & we’re suppose to be closed!

I had some people stop and of course, they seen me in here. So they knocked on the door and I had to see what they wanted. A neighbor of theirs told them that I had some kittens in. And it was time for us to start looking for them a home. The kitten was for their daughter, she looked to be about twelve. She was excited to be here so I took them back to look at the kittens. They picked out the one they wanted. I told them I would hold her for them. I also asked them if they minded coming back tomorrow(to fill out paperwork, about 3 months from now we will be checking on the kitten). I even went so far as telling the little girl I would give her a tour of all the wildlife we had. Gee! What’s Wrong With Me? I’m getting soft!

Now to get back to work before someone else shows up, lol! Sorry About That!

Your I Ching Hexagram for Dec. 29th is 10:Treading Carefully

People of ability find their way and make progress even in difficult circumstances. Consider your steps carefully when you are surrounded by changing forces. Weak and strong forces (or people) can co-exist when the weaker element does not impose upon the stronger, when the weaker maintains good humor and avoids taking bold action. When treading among sleeping tigers — or slippery stones — step gingerly and don’t stumble.

In the company of strong, brash people, rushing wildly ahead brings misfortune. Now is not a good time for taking the initiative; rather, try getting by with a little grace and good humor. In the court of a powerful king, the jester often has more power than the prince.

Daily Feng Shui Tip for Dec. 28th is ‘National Card Playing Day’

It’s ‘ National Card Playing Day’ and for some that might mean bellying up to the poker table, but in my house it means activating the ‘Ten Of Diamonds Success Cure.’ Remove a ten of diamonds from a new deck of playing cards and place it on a dish. Place a piece of silver next to it. This silver platter is about to bring success your way. With a small sharp instrument, scratch your name and birth date into a red candle. Place the candle atop the card and burn it while visualizing receiving all the fortune, luck and success your life can hold. When the candle has burned out, place the card, the silver and any of the wax remnants in a red pouch and carry it with you in order to keep the promise and prosperity going.
