Spell for Wednesday – “Naked in Your Sight” c. 2016

Simple Spells: “Naked in Your Sight”

If you want to do some “naked” magick but are too uncomfortable to stand around in your living room in your altogether, try doing this simple spell while in the bath or shower) where, presumably, you’ll be naked anyway):

Close your eyes and visualize your naked body in a waterfall or pond. See the water as the physical manifestation of the energy of the universe, and take in as much of that energy as you can hold. Then say, “As I was born, I am at this hour, fill my body with your power.”

Spell For Tuesday – Matchstick Spell

(YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE ANY SPELLS POSTED TO A DOCUMENT TO PRINT AND/OR SAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER)

Matchstick Spell

This Matchstick Spell is the epitome of simplicity. Combined with a few moments of visualization, you will literally ignite your intention as you manifest the spell in your mind! (Because thoughts are energy, and energy is power!) Who doesn’t like a little pyro in their Pagan?! =D
What You’ll Need:
A matchstick
A pen

How to Conjure:
-Write your desire in one word on the match. Being so small, it may get tricky. Don’t get frustrated. Write as neatly as you can and call it good! =P-Before lighting the match, take a moment to envision your spell coming to fruition. For example, if you’re seeking a new home, imagine walking into your new house. What does the entryway look like? What color are the walls? What does the living room smell like? Where will you put the couch? Really visualize your goal.

-Once your desire is crisp and colorful in your mind, say the following:

With the strike of a match, this spell is aflame,
Quickly manifesting, my desires attained.
– Light the match and allow it to burn as completely as possible without burning your fingertips! With one deep breath and the unfailing belief your spell will manifest, blow out the match before it reaches your fingers.
-Dunk the match in water to ensure it’s entirely extinguished.
-If you have house plants, push the remaining bit of match deep into the soil. Otherwise, take the small bit outside and bury. You shouldn’t need a shovel, just kind of shove it into the dirt with your finger. You know, nature’s tool! 😉 Alternatively, you may also toss the remaining bit into a fire.
Your spell is now quickly on its way to manifesting! In and out in under five minutes. Imagine that! You just earned yourself a shower, you busy Pagan you!

Spell for Monday – Positive Change Spells

(YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE ANY SPELLS POSTED TO A DOCUMENT TO PRINT AND/OR SAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER)

Thursdays are good days for travel and change. It’s the perfect day to re-arrange the furniture of your house and gain a new perspective on something. Even if you are not able to do any traveling on this day, you can still use Thursdays to do spells for travel. You can even do spells for positive change, and re-arrangement of your life. It’s a good idea to exercise on this day, as well. That way, your body can be in-shape by the time Friday comes

Positive Change Spells – Write Change Spells

Things you will need:
1 sheet of paper
1 pen or pencil
1 green candle
1 lighter or match
Light the green candle and think about how you want your life to change. When you are ready, draw a cross symbol on the sheet of paper with the pen or pencil. Label each corner of the cross with the first letter of the four directions on Earth. For example: “N” for North and “E” for East. Above the cross, write the word, “CHANGE.” Now, take your pen or pencil and place it in the center of the cross. Draw a swirl, counter-clockwise, three times. Then, take the pen back to the center of the cross and draw, clockwise, three times. Now, blow out the candle. After doing that fold the paper up and safely burn it or toss it in a body of water. After a few days, you should feel the changes you wanted to start happening.

Re-arrange Spells – Bouquet Re-arrange Spell

3 different kinds of flowers
1 vase
Get three different kinds of flowers and place them in a vase. Take a deep look at them and, then, step back for a few minutes. Walk back up to the flowers and re-arrange them. Then, say this chant three times:

“Flowers to move.
Life to re-arrange.
I need things to be different.
I need things to change.
What was over here,
Now, is over there.
What I need to spin around,
Soon, will have new flare.”

After about a week or so, you will notice a good deal of the re-arrangement you wanted.

All Signs

Exciting news! After a 14-year dance, lucky Jupiter will line up with unpredictable Uranus! Jupiter represents wealth, expansion and joy. Uranus is about sudden events. This union occurs at 21? Taurus; and Taurus is also a sign associated with wealth. (The plot thickens.) Looking good! (Actually, this dance is so powerful, it could trigger headlines.) One thing both planets share is they are both future-oriented. We will have opportunities to make a difference in the future. I think the key to handling an opportunity is to be prepared, open-minded and courageous because a leap into the unknown is often required. Then of course, the inevitable question arises – how does one dress for an opportunity?

Aries (March 21-April 19)

The good news for you is that this lucky conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus takes place in your Money House. Ka-ching! This means you have a chance to get richer! And while that might be true, it might be colossal or it might be as modest as suddenly finding a $20 bill. (Which is still a lovely boost to anyone’s day. Let’s hope for a fifty.) Because this unexpected opportunity affects cash flow and earnings as well as purchases. You might suddenly buy something you adore. Or you might have a chance to buy something that you missed before. Or you might see a way to boost your earnings especially in the future. I think this week ahead holds much promise for you.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Hold the phone! This fortunate dance of Jupiter lining up with Uranus takes place in your sign! You will be brave, optimistic and full of derring-do! You might also feel younger for some reason. You’re ready to take a chance, and open new doors! You might decide to dress differently. You might talk to people differently. You might reach out to someone and begin a new relationship. It could be anything. It’s as if you have a special magic wand that makes you feel adventurous, lucky and powerful. One aspect that is almost certain to occur is that it will enrich your future in some way. It will be an opportunity that leads to further opportunities. Please note that this window of opportunity will be brief so you will have to act fast!

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This is a popular time for you. You’re enjoying the company of younger people, friends from the past as well as creative, artistic types. In fact, for some of you, a platonic relationship might become romantic. This spectacular meeting of lucky Jupiter and unpredictable Uranus takes place in a hidden part of your chart, which is an indication that the benefits you feel will be more private – more personal and possibly more spiritual. Your inner being will get a positive lift. You will feel more optimistic about your present day as well as what your future might hold. Psychologically, this will be a strong blessing for you! It’s the perfect introduction for lucky Jupiter entering your sign next month, for the first time in 12 years!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You look good to others. This is because both the Sun and fair Venus are at the top of your chart making you appear successful, charming and helpful. This is why someone might appeal to you for some kind of assistance or advice. Your desire to travel and learn more or expand your experience of the world is strong. The blessing of the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction is something that will expand your connections with others – with friends as well as groups and organizations. This might occur suddenly. Whatever happens will make you even more popular and will likely make you feel younger as well. You’ll feel more confident about entertaining some wild and crazy goals for the future that are quite ambitious. And why not?

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This glorious meeting of Jupiter and Uranus is happening at the very top of your chart – something unusual. Somehow, it will boost your reputation in an unexpected way. You will be noticed. People might even think you are eccentric or unusual in some way. They will certainly see you as appealing, entertaining, successful and worldly. Because you project this attractive, rather unusual image, new opportunities might open for you that you had not expected. If so, very likely, these opportunities will have a narrow window of time, which means you have to act fast. You might even entertain a new life direction or a new career. So many exciting possibilities!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Surprising opportunities to travel or to do anything that will broaden your experience of the world, perhaps a chance to take courses or go back to school or study are just some exciting avenues that might open up for you at this time. Very likely, they will be unexpected. Likewise, sudden opportunities related to publishing, the media or something to do with medical or legal matters might also bring you a surprising benefit. A financial or practical advantage might come with this benefit, so keep your pockets open and be ready to say yes! Meanwhile, be patient with partners and close friends while fiery Mars is opposite your sign. This is small potatoes. (Fries, really.)

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This unusual conjunction of lucky Jupiter with unpredictable Uranus is taking place in one of your Money Houses, which is why you might have an unexpected boon or benefit or an inheritance. Someone might give you something. Someone might do you a favour that you did not expect. You might suddenly have the use of something that someone else owns. You might get money back from the government. Look for some kind of practical or financial favour that can come your way now or in the future because of a set of events that you set into action. Fortunately, you’re willing to work hard now and ready to make things happen!

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You are the only sign that has the unusual influence of having the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in your House of Marriage and Partnerships. Something unusual will definitely impact your closest relationships. A sudden commitment is possible. A swift marriage. Even a business partnership might be suddenly formed. Whatever the case, you definitely stand to benefit from these close relationships. This even includes your relationship with members of the general public. It’s interesting to know that whatever benefits you now also affects your future in a positive way. Good things are coming to you, especially with respect to your closest relationships. That’s nice.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You will have marvellous opportunities to suddenly improve your job in some fashion either this week or very soon in the future. By the same token, you might easily improve your health now or in the future because of something unexpected that occurs that benefits you. Or you might suddenly find a better job, perhaps something that agrees with you more. Yet again, some of you might have a sudden opportunity to explore business related travel that is exciting. It’s the kind of travel that teaches you and even changes you. Meanwhile, this is a playful fun-loving month, so take time out for pleasure!

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Your focus is on home and family; furthermore, some of you are busy redecorating or make your home more attractive because family that you haven’t seen for a while might visit you. Nevertheless, you cannot ignore the influence of this fabulous conjunction of lucky Jupiter and unpredictable Uranus that is taking place in one of the most fun parts of your chart. Love at first sight might suddenly appear. New romance might materialize. A surprise related to children or the arts or something to do with sports might delight you. Whatever happens will be unexpected but thrilling and exciting. It might even be an unexpected chance for a vacation or a fun social outing. Get dressed!

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is a busy time for you, in part because your interest in neighbours, relatives and siblings is strong. Admittedly, Mercury retrograde will create delays in transportation, silly mistakes and goof ups with communications and problems in general but nothing you can’t handle. However, this special Jupiter/Uranus conjunction for your sign takes place in a part of your chart related to home and family and your private life. Your family might suddenly expand in some way through birth or marriage. You might suddenly entertain or do something a bit dazzling at home that involves others. You might buy modern art or something high tech for where you live. This sudden expansion and benefit might include real estate. You might even invent something! (You’re so innovative.) So many exciting possibilities!

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You are strong now, even assertive because Mars is in your sign giving you a sense of purpose and boosting your physical energy. Three planets are focused on money and earnings; however, this glorious conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus is taking place in the part of your chart that concerns your everyday activities. It also will affect your style of communicating with others – everyday contacts including siblings, relatives and neighbours. You will be bursting with brilliant, original ideas! People will be impressed with you and what you know and how you talk. Even you will be excited about learning new things and sharing your ideas. A fantastic time to write, act, sell, or teach.

Charm Bag for Love

LOVE SPELL WARNING: Love spells such as this one take the person who you want to love you free will/spirit away. What happens with a spell like this is the person will become obsessed with you to the point of possibly losing their job, which in turn can make them lose their home, automobile, friends, their family, etc. I have heard of people under love spells dying from not eating or drinking when they are not in the presence of the spellcaster 24/7/365. So, unless you want some who only loves you because of a spell you put on them then go for it. But if you want someone to love you because they feel that emotion towards you then please do not do this spell. The same warning goes for animals, birds, reptiles, or anything else that has a heart and can create a bond with someone.

Ingredients:

  • Love charm
  • Red Pouch
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Paper
  • Pen

Make the love charm in my article on Fire Magic.

Draw the following love rune on the piece of paper:

The paper can be small. It will need to fit into the pouch.

Now visualize what love means to you. It can be romantic or sisterly. The type of energy you focus now will affect what will return to you.

Be very clear and certain with the intention. Wrap the love charm in the paper and set it in the pouch.

Say the words:

Charm bag for love:
I place this gem.
Goddess energy above
Grant your power to them.

Continue to place each ingredient into the bag and feel the energy flow out of you and into the charm bag. Take as much time as you need.

It is now complete.

Let’s Have Some Fun – Printable Ostara Coloring Pages

THE WICCAN CALENDAR: OSTARA (SPRING EQUINOX)

When is Ostara: March 19-23
Ostara pronunciation: OH-star-ah
Themes: balance, renewal, action, beginnings, hope, new possibilities
Also known as: Alban Eiler, Rites of Spring, Eostra’s Day, Vernal Equinox, March Equinox, Spring Equinox, Lady Day, Bacchanalia

Ostara is the second of three spring festivals on the Wheel of the Year. Coming in between Imbolc and Beltane, this is a time for celebrating the balance between extremes that is found amid the seasons. Although it may still be chilly in many regions, this is the official beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere—it is the Vernal (Spring) Equinox, the moment of exact balance between the light and the dark.

Though it’s typically celebrated on March 20, the exact moment of the Equinox varies from year to year. This is due to a slight misalignment between the Gregorian calendar and the actual rate of the Earth’s rotation around the Sun. The Equinox also occurs at differing local times, so depending on where you live, it may fall the day before or the day after the date listed on any given calendar. For this reason, a date range of March 19-21 is often cited in sources on the Wheel of the Year.

In the Wiccan mythology, the growing daylight is evidence of the God moving from infancy toward maturity. Likewise, the Earth becomes warmer and more fertile as the Goddess is coming into the full power of her Maiden aspect. The promise of greener, warmer, more bountiful times is becoming apparent as buds and blossoms emerge from the trees and shrubs, bees return to begin the pollination cycle, and fields of grass wake up from their winter slumber. This is a time of innocence and child-like wonder as the end of Winter finally becomes a reality and being outdoors is pleasant again. We have not yet arrived at the passion and heat of Summer, but are instead enjoying the more balanced energies of this Equinox.

To honor the energies of this time of year, you can decorate your altar Click here to read the rest of this article about Ostara/Spring Equinox

Correspondences & Symbols of Ostara

Symbols used to represent Ostara include the egg-for fertility and reproduction, and the hare-for rebirth and resurrection, the New Moon, butterflies and cocoons. Symbolically, many Pagans choose to represent Ostara by the planting of seeds, potted plants, ringing bells, lighting new fires at sunrise, either in the fireplace, in the cauldron, or light a balefire outdoors. I always give myself a gift of a newly potted plant or take a seed and plant it within my cast Circle. Ritually, a fire may be lit in the cauldron during (not before) the rite itself. You may want to decorate your altar with a colorful bouquet of Spring wildflowers. Other traditional activities include working on magickal gardens and practicing all forms of  herbal work—magickal, artistic, medicinal, culinary, and cosmetic. author unknown
