Days Of The Week Comments Well my dearies, I have a horrible confession to make…..I have turned into a gamer, lol! When I worked, I had my own office. I would get bored and I ran across this great site with every kind of game on it you could imagine. Well I quit work and I figured I would play it at home. The site went down to make improvements and basically give it a complete overhaul. So it is back up and I have been playing like a wild woman, lol! My husband has never wanted to look at my blog. He was involved in my old MSN group. When MSN closed them down, I don’t know what happened to him but he said he didn’t want anything else to do with anything I did online. So last night, he came in here and he thought I was working on the blog. He said, “Oh, is that your blog, I would love to see it!” Well you can guess what the wild woman was really doing. I was playing mah jong on this gaming site. He got interested and wanted the addy for it. I told him and apparently he went and signed up. I had this person that kept showing up playing against me every time. I mean every time this person was there. His ID was “neighbor,” and that just struck me funny. Well after about 5 games of me whipping his butt. He came in here and was bitching about this girl who kept beating the crap out of him. He even asked me if I had ever played her. I liked to have died laughing but I kept a straight face and said, “No! never!” He left the room still mouthing to himself about this girl who he couldn’t beat. The girl he couldn’t beat wasn’t a girl at all, in fact she was a “WILD WOMAN!” LMAO! Of course, I won’t never tell him!

Happy Monday, dear friends of mine!

Days Of The Week Comments 
Hello all you lovely people out there! I was sitting here thinking about the title I use everyday on these starter posts. “Happy,” I use that all the time. I was wondering what other greeting would be appropriate, “Joyous Monday,” “Blissful Monday,” “Funny Monday?” It just hit me, “It’s A Killer Monday, Tuesday, etc., you get the idea, lol! The word “Killer” hit me because I am about ready to kill my husband (not really). He is in the next room watching Battle: Los Angeles. We have surround sound and I swear he has the volume set at 100. The damn walls are rumbling. And you can’t talk to him because he can’t hear you. So I went in there and yelled for him to turn it down. Amazingly enough, he did and the walls still rumble. He is in the process of retiring and I honestly don’t know if I am going to survive his retirement or not. Kiki, Razzy, Stinker and I are going to get us a tent and pitch it in the backyard. My Monday was going great till he got up. Enough with the bitchin’! 

 

I had several comments in regards to this blog having a “Donate Button.” There was some confusion as if it did have one and it does. On the right hand side of the blog, scroll all the way down to the bottom. There it is. It is linked to our non-profit account and I just checked it. It is working properly. If you have found material that is beneficial, you just like the blog or would just like to donate, your donations and generosity would be greatly appreciated. I know you probably wonder why a blog like this would have a donate button. In this case, it is actually to keep the internet going were we can operate the blog. The internet service is provided through a local Co-Op. The Co-Op owns the lines and therefore we are very limited to what we can get. So the funds you donate goes strictly to paying the internet service (which keeps getting higher and higher each month). So if you find it in your heart to donate, thank you very much. It is deeply appreciated. Well you ain’t paying me to goof off, so I am off to do the dailys. I hope you have a great Monday. Till tomorrow….

Days Of The Week Comments

I hope everyone is having a fantastic day. I am sorry I am running late. I have been submitting the blog to some search engines. It has come to my attention that your blog or website does not stay listed forever anymore. You have to occasionally resubmit it. I am hoping that the blog will go up in its standing in some of the major search engines. 

Now on to the more important stuff, I have been thinking again (look out, lol!). Or perhaps I got a small Cosmic slap today but anyway here goes….I realized doing the dailys every day is fine but I need to get back to teaching also. So I am going to start putting more information about The Craft, potions, mists, aromatherapy, you name it, it’s going to be here. If it has to do with Witchcraft or related, it is going to start to appear on this blog. But I know I have gotten away from teaching and I apologize for that. You will start to see more new material in regards to Witchcraft appear on the blog. 

Last but not least, I had a couple of questions in regards to my graphics I use on this site. Basically, I search high and low for the graphics on this site. I am extremely picky and it could take me two or three days to find what I like. I use search engine sites (mostly Google). For instance, the pumpkin background, I typed in “images of fall pumpkins.” Up popped several images and I hunted through them till I found the one I liked. I also use Deviantart.com for some of my images. This time I didn’t use them but they have some fantastic talent there and they deserve to be checked out. For my daily pics, I use Magickal Graphics. Magickal Graphics collects pics and other stuff from all over the web. They are dedicated strictly to the Magickal Arts which is great. Lastly, I have a glitter site which is fantastic. They are http://www.glitter-graphics.com/  (Glitter-Graphics.com). This place is unbelievable. You can spend hours and hours searching their archives. I can be looking for a starry background, enter it into their search engine and up pops 2347 images. I ain’t kidding. This place is awesome. Most of the time I get my dividers from them. But I believe this time, I used some of my own. But those are basically the way I come up with my “awesome” (which I thank you for using that term) graphics. I hope I have helped you out some. But please check out these sites, you will be amazed.

Happy Saturday to all my dear friends!

Good Saturday afternoon everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day.  My night was hideous and I am working off of about 2 hours sleep. It was almost dark last night when I decided to run down the road to the store.  I always take Kiki with me when I go down there. You can pull right up to the front and it’s all glass and the employees know me, so they keep an eye on the truck. And I lock the little fart in, anyway. I carried Kiki out the door to get in the truck because of the wolf I had seen. As little as she is, she wouldn’t even make him a good snack.  But the minute, I opened the door, she started sniffing and I got this super strange feeling. It was a horrible feeling, like a feeling of doom. I walked quickly to the truck and put Kiki in. Then I walked around to the driver’s side and I saw what my feeling of dread was. It was the timber wolf laying at the very back of the truck. I know now why he was out during the day, he is hurt and he is now foaming at the mouth. Well you can imagine what I liked to have done in my pants. I backed up slowly and made my way back to the other side of the truck. Kiki feeds off my feelings and by this time, she is at the driver’s side going wild barking and growling. Ever seen a 5-lb Pomeranian growl, it is hilarious. Anyway back to the story. I managed to get the door unlocked and get in the truck. Just as I was shutting the door. The wolf came up to the driver’s side door, stood up, growled, snarled and hit the window with his head repeatedly. It was like a scene from Cujo except this was Wolfjo. I had the good sense to remember anything rabid can’t stand noise. So I laid on the horn. After a few seconds of horn tooting, he ran off. My husband had come out during the horn blowing to see what was wrong. I was scared to death the wolf would attack him. I cracked the window on the passenger’s side and screamed for him to go back in the house. He did and he came back out with the shotgun. As the wolf was running off, my husband did shoot him but I don’t believe it was a fatal shot. I was upset the wolf had to be shot. I love wolves so. I am now glad that the first day I saw the wolf I didn’t try to befriend him. I would have been taking those horrible rabies shots. But after all that, my night went straight to heck. I didn’t sleep because I was upset. I think I drank about 2 pots of coffee. At least, I am keeping Maxwell House in business, lol!

Now after I have talked your ear off, I will get down to business, lol! I was going through the comments in the back. One I read head me in the hit like a 2×4. It’s not bad but it made me stop and think. Then I got to wondering if others think the same thing. So I felt compelled to answer it out here, in this forum. Here it is………….

How is it that just anyone can publish a weblog and get as popular as this? I take that back, after reading it again it does sound mean! First off, I am a private person. In the world of witchcraft when I speak individuals listen. I guess you could also say, well I was going to say quiet but that doesn’t describe me at all. I would say, I think things over very carefully and then I speak. The people who know me, know this and they listen when I speak. I am very content with the blog and the way I publish it. I express myself through the material I post. Now if you want me to start speaking, just let me know. I can talk your ear off on any subject you choose.

Next I publish this blog more in a journal or a newsletter for Pagans. I try to gather the best on the net for my readers. I also add my own information. I speak through the spells, rituals, potions and so on, I put on here.

Lastly concerning the blog being popular. It just struck me that this person could be jealous of this blog’s popularity but I will forget that notion for now. The name of the blog, “Witches of the Craft,” is a very well-known name. I can proudly say that the WOTC has always had an excellent reputation. It is well established and has always been known for spreading the truth about The Craft. That was one of my main goal when I first started out. If I had a group I wanted it to provide good, accurate information for all who seek to know about Witchcraft. There are too many bad sites out there for someone to fall prey too. I wanted to try to prevent this if at all possible. But none of this would have ever been possible without the main Lady in my life, the Goddess. Without Her, none of this would have ever happened. She has guided me every step of the way. I made a vow to spread the truth about Witchcraft and do the Goddess’s work. I consider myself just Her instrument. Now I am going to get a little preachy…….I can sit here and describe the wonders I have experienced in my life. But I would tell anyone just don’t listen to me and my stories, experience it for yourself.  You can feel the Goddess’s love as it shines down on you. You see the world in a totally different light than before. You have a connection with nature and all its creatures. I could go on and on, but I will stop by saying one final thing. The Goddess is a very loving Lady, She takes very good care of Her children, She shows mercy, forgiveness and most of all Her love is like no other. You have to experience it for yourself.

Most of these individuals have signed up to receive my blog’s emails everyday. But since I am not like most bloggers their mailboxes are flooded with posts from this blog. Thank you for your question. In answer to it, no, I cannot remove or unsubscribe you from the blog. This is something you have to do yourself. First, go to your own dashboard. You will find this at the very top of your own WordPress space. Now scroll down to the section called, “My Subscriptions.” Click there. This is the place were you can remove yourself from this blog or any other blog.

I hope this answers your question. If I can be of any further assistance, please let me know.

You know it would be great to receive some Witchcraft questions. I would love to have this forum as sort of an “Ask the Witch” section. I think that would cool. And it would probably help out some others that have the same questions.

Wishing You All A Very Relaxing Saturday! Take a break you deserve it!

Definitely looks like my mischievous Razzy, lol!

I hope your Saturday is starting off very relaxing and enjoyable. Mine is just a little noisy. Razzy (the kitten) is playing with her toy on the bed. Also on the bed is Kiki (the noisy, grouchy Pomeranian) who apparently has forgotten what playing is all about. Kiki has barked and did a small growl every time Razzy has jumped at her toy. I tell you this cat, I have never seen anything like her. She jumps and carries on like a frog. She even makes me dizzy, lol!

Talking about my animals is not what I wanted to write about today. I wanted to try something new. I receive comments from individuals that have the same concerns and questions. So I decided I would publish their comments and hopefully answers all of your concerns at once. I feel bad because there are so many comments with the same questions or concerns and I can’t answer all of them. I figured this would be a great way to address them and hopefully help you with your problem or answer your question. Here goes, today’s questions come from…….

Thank you Link and News for both your questions. When I first considered opening a blog, I did numerous searches for hosting sites. I found a few that did interest me because they had free offers for 30 days. After that 30 day period was up, the monthly prices were higher than what I was wanting to pay. In fact, I didn’t want to pay anything. I thought about the hosting sites, I would already have to have my own blog or website. Then I would have to upload it to their site. To me, this just seemed like too much work. Especially since I didn’t know a thing about blogging. I then did a search for a site that would give me a free blog and also host it for free. I can tell you now, I try out a many of these sites. I would imagine there are “Witches Of The Craft’s” blogs all over the net that I forgot to delete. I finally got fed up with the sites I was pulling up in my Yahoo search. I did a Norton search and the first one I pulled up was “WordPress.” I figured I hadn’t tried this one, so I would give it a shot. WordPress give you a free blog and also hosts it for you. This is who hosts my blog. I cannot recommend WordPress highly enough. If you are just starting out, it is fantastic. WordPress has forums for help. You can go there and get your questions answered by administrators of this site. You can also do searches for any question or problem you might encounter if you don’t see it in the forums. Then when you actually register a blog, the tools you have are utterly amazing. WordPress offers you a dashboard on the sideboard. There you have everything involving your blog right at your fingertips. It is great. They offer templates. You can use them as they are but some are able to be customized just like this one here.

WordPress is who hosts this blog. The reason is loads fasts is because of the excellent service WordPress provides. I must mention there are two WordPress’s. There is a WordPress.com and there is a WordPress.org. WordPress.com is the one this blog is associated with. The WordPress.com provides you with the blog and then hosts it. WordPress.org from what I understand is a pay service. They provide you with templates also and everything you need to build that blog. The .org service offers quite a few more features but you have to download it to your computer. Then you build your blog offline. When the blog is ready, you upload it to WordPress.org and they host it for you. I don’t know how much they charge. Since the two WordPress’s are associated I would imagine the .org one would be a great place to host a blog. You would have to check their price.

To keep me from confusing you:

This blog is hosted by WordPress.com. WordPress.com offers a free blog and then also hosts it.

WordPress.org offers you all the supplies you need to build your own blog offline. It has to be downloaded and then when the blog is ready, you upload it to their site. WordPress.org is a pay site that hosts blogs.

Now for internet providers, I believe I have tried them all. The one I was happiest with was Comcast high-speed internet. But Comcast kept raising their prices every other month till I had to eventually drop them. Now I am with a local telephone co-op. It is a DSL service. When I use to work, I had BellSouth DSL installed there. BellSouth was super fast and also very reasonable. I think for a residence it was about $32.00 a month. Of course, for a business it is much higher. The DSL service I have was great when I first got it. The man who installed it told me the more computers you add to the service the slower it gets. My husband added a router and also added his two computers to the service. He tells me he has problems with the speed and downloads. But I have the main line run to my computer and laptop and I can’t tell a difference. It is still fast for me. The DSL service with the co-op runs about $32.00 a month. I have found most DSL services charge about the same for their services. I know with Comcast when I finally dropped them my bill was close to almost $200 a month (a big, big difference). I also had a few friends recommend Yahoo DSL but I had problems with logging in constantly. Yahoo DSL is not available in all areas yet. If you check with them, that could be a problem for you. But check with your local phone company. If they offer an AT&T service or another national long distance service, they probably offer DSL. Just remember get the main line going to your computer, lol!

Ok, I confess I like the fairy, lol! I am stopping by and staying for a while. I have written an intro for today once. Dummy saw were she hadn’t authorized Facebook today. I clicked the button. Then I remember I had written this post and hadn’t published it yet. So guess what? It disappeared on me. And it was so good too. One of the best intros I had ever written, lmao!

One of the points, I want to re-write is what I have been thinking about. I want your opinion and comments about it too. I have been thinking about opening a new blog. It won’t be anything like this one. It will be geared to a specific subject. I was thinking about crystals. I was looking through my papers and books and I have enough info on them. So much in fact, I can’t do them justice here. Now what do you think? Is there another subject that needs to be addressed specifically? Would you visit a new crystal blog? Do we need it? Hey, your my family, I like to run my new ideas by ya’.

Blessings To You & Yours On This Glorious Wednesday!

Good Morning, dear friends! I hope you enjoy the butterflies. It is a shame summer is almost over and these beautiful creatures will be gone to next year. Where does time go? It seems like it flies by for me. I get up at 5:00 a.m., and the next thing I know it is time to cook supper and go to bed. My, my, my, time flies when you are having fun, lol!

I was going through the comments in the back today and there were a few issues I wanted to address. First, I have had a couple of individuals that want to unsubscribe to the blog. The reason being, they are receiving too many emails in their accounts. I probably should have emphasized that this blog generates about 25 to 35 (if not more) posts a day. I am use to posting a lot. In my group that I use to have, I was known as a power poster. Now whether that is a compliment or not, I ain’t for sure, lol! But I like to post. It gets my mind off of my problems and I consider it my free therapy. So I do put out a lot of posts. And if you don’t want to receive this many in your email, then it is best to read the blog. I also had these individuals ask me to unsubscribe them, I cannot do this. You have to do this yourself. In your WordPress account, you have a section called “My Subscriptions.” This is the place you need to go to unsubscribe to this blog or any other blog.

Next, I had quite a few individuals that wanted to exchange links with me. I gladly exchange links with anyone that puts this blog’s link on their blog or website first. You might be wondering why I am that picky. It isn’t really being picky at all. I have had individuals in the past that say they have put the WOTC link on their site. Now here is there link, please put it on your site NOW! When I would go to check to see if my link was there, guess what? It wasn’t! So now I have a policy, that a link to the WOTC must first be on your site. Then I go and check and if it is there, I will be more than happy to put you on this blog. When you ask to exchange links, please include your blog’s or website’s name and then the addy. I love to add new site to the link section. So if you would like to exchange links, I would love too.

Next, I have had several individuals want to know if I would guest write on their sites. Of course, I would be more than happy too.  I am hoping these sites deal with Witchcraft or a similar topic in this field. I would prefer to decide what I am going to write about. Then I would submit it to you for your approval. Or if you have a topic in mind, then let me know. If I am familiar with the subject and can write about it, I will. If not, then you will have to pick another one. The ones that asked this favor, I have your email addys and will be contacting you soon.

And last but not least, I have had a million and one questions about this blog’s format, who is my host and my service provider (I am going to try to group this all together, lol!). The blog format is from a template that WordPress provides. When I had my group, I had my assistant managers do most of the posting while I played with the graphics. I love to do graphics and I am a graphic nut. I am always hunting for new pics, backgrounds and any thing else I can use. When I first started this blog, I knew nothing about blogging. One night, I was bored with the way the blog looked very plain. I got to hunting in the template section. I noticed some of the blogs said you could change the background and the headers, plus a few other things. Well I picked one out that you could change the header and background on. I didn’t know what I was doing so I when to the new template and started playing. I uploaded a starry background that I had and checked and there it was. Then I moved over to the header section (that was a little scary!). This section gives you the option to upload three pics. So I uploaded the three pics that I liked. Then you have the option of cropping one to be your header. Oh, brother, let me tell you my cropping skills sucked, lol! I finally got the hang of it and put up my first new header (which is not the one now). Then I darken the whole thing and I was finished. I took a look at the blog and like to have fallen out in the floor. I couldn’t believe I had done it, but I had. So the blog format here is nothing special. It is a regular WordPress template that I have customized myself.  A few individuals are also curious about who my host is and who do I recommend. I recommend WordPress very highly. The options they offer are unbelievable. The blog owner is in blog heaven here. You just have to try it to see what I mean. WordPress gives you everything you need to do a blog. Then they host it themself.  Lastly, who is my internet provider because the blog loads so fast. Well I don’t believe it has a thing to do with my server because I am with a small county co-op that provides DSL. I believe the blog loads fast because of WordPress and their excellent service.

Oh, I almost forgot I got one that said I was whining again. Yes, I confess I whine all the time. In fact, I am whining now, lmao! It amazes me, if I am so whiny then why does this person stop by the blog. You know, if I knew a person was whiny, I wouldn’t keep stopping by. Would you? I guess they must be stopping by to see what I am whining about today. Hmmmm…….

I hope I have covered most of your questions. I am sorry I cannot answer you personal but I am pushing 2000 comments again. I cleaned it out over the weekend and was down to 800. Then I check today and it is almost 2000 again. I love to read all of your wonderful comments. I must say thank you for all the words of encouragement and good wishes. I couldn’t ask for a better group of readers and friends. You are all fantastic and I sincerely wish I did have the time to communicate with all of you and get to know you better. I hope you are have a fantastic weekend so far!

Good afternoon my dear readers! I apologize for running so late but it couldn’t be avoided. I stayed up late last night working on the blog. I was wanting to put some detailed info on the blog about Leos at the bottom of the page. I know when you look down there it looks horrible. Have faith, I am still working on it. I finally figured out what I want to do now.

I really wasn’t going to write anything personal today but I got to reading some of the comments in the back. Then I was prompted to respond to a few (like two).  Well I hate to tell you I have been whining again about what I have no idea. I don’t believe I have ever said this on this blog but…….blogging is my form of therapy. I get to blow off steam if I feel like it or I can be happy as a pig in slop. If any of my readers are having a bad day or something is on their mind, they can whine too. It is our blog, if we want to whine, we will whine. Everybody is welcome to whine. They weren’t specific about what I was whining about but if it was because of all the deaths I had experienced, I do not apologize for that. That was very tragic and also very horrible. I loved those animals to pieces and to see what I saw, broke my heart. So if that is what I was whining about, oh well, I don’t call being human and expressing my feelings whining. I want to emphasis to all my readers, if you want to whine, please feel free to do so. This is a place where you can discuss anything, blow off steam or just make yourself at home.

Now for the next thing, this will be short and sweet. There are too many errors in my spelling. Blame it on the Spellchecker. I use it religiously. There is nothing posted that is not spell checked first. So I don’t know what is going on there. I remember people griping about incorrect spelling. So I made a mental note when I first started this, always use the spellchecker.

Happy Saturday, dear readers!

This is about the way I feel today. I was up till 4:00 this morning on a four-wheeler looking for one of the male wildcats. We have had a momma wildcat hanging around, she is about ready to give birth any day now. I don’t know why but this one male has taken up with her. It’s a toss-up on which one I am going to shot first (just kidding, I am an animal lover).  After trampling through everything imaginable, we still didn’t see the little bast*&d! I know baby, baby wildcats when they are first-born, a grown male will rip the throats out of the male babies. I am sure this one is too big for that but he is still a kit and couldn’t defend himself against a grown male. So I was a little frantic to find him. But we didn’t. I got up this morning and guess what? Here comes the little basta*d just a’running. Ran up and fell out in my lap. He was pooped but he was fine and that was all that mattered to me.

Now have a little patience with me this morning. I am going to try some different. I am going to type up a quick article on Astral Projection, so hang with me. Ok? ok!

Happy, Happy Friday! It’s A Thank Goddess It’s Friday Day!

Happy Friday, dear readers! I am sorry I am running late and I will try to keep this short (yeah, right! I can’t keep nothing short, lol!). I got carried away with the front page. If you haven’t figured it out yet, I am a perfectionist witch, lol! If I am going to do something I want it to look good. Or else why waste your time doing it? Then I had to run out and feed the wildcats. That was a feat in itself. I generally feed them around nine and now they get fed at eleven, ha! They were all over me and they are getting so big. They stretch their arms out and they reach up to my elbows almost. So you really don’t want to miss feeding them. My hubby gets on to me now when I go and sit down with them and they rough house me. One is so sweet. I turned the porch light out the other night and he just curled up beside me. I softly petted him and talked to him in a low whisper and he just purred. You could just feel the bond forming. I thought maybe it was a one time thing, but it wasn’t he has done it ever since. He tries to lay in my lap and that is funny. He has paws hanging out all over the place. I would guess he weighs close to 30 lbs., now. My poor legs are about to break off. I don’t think he would care either. He would have a piece of me to carry around, lol! Enough with that……….

I meant to touch on this yesterday and got carried away with violence. I had some good comments too and I want to responds to some of them. Thank you for your comments, they are deeply appreciated. It is also good to hear someone else’s opinion for a change, thank you again. What I meant to talk about was my posting “The Witches’ Ten Commandments.” I had a couple of responses about this being the first thing we learned as witches. Perhaps it was and perhaps it wasn’t. Remember some witches answer to no one but theirselves. But that is not the point, the point is yes, some witches do learn this right off the bat. There are new witches coming to this site to learn. I posted these “Commandments” for them. I am doing my best to try to make this a site for everyone. A site that will benefit the Elder witch to the new comer. And let me tell you it ain’t easy. But to clear up any confusion, the “Commandments” were post for the new ones to the Craft and perhaps the older ones that just wanted to be refreshed.

You have any ideas for the blog or would like something posted just let me know. I am still moving info from the old group and also adding new never before seen info to the site. So tell me what you think, as always I love to hear from my readers. Till then……

Happy, Happy Thursday! TGIF and a loooong weekend ahead!

Hello world, how are you today? You can definitely tell Summer is here. The temperatures here are almost in the middle 90’s and you can tell it. I have a wonderful case of sun poisoning on my arms. My fault, I am a red-head and we don’t tan. I wouldn’t tan if someone paid me too.  Besides it’s my own darn fault, I was outside for hours playing with the wildcat kittens and no sunscreen nothing on me.  And now I am paying for it. In case, some of you don’t know what sun poisoning is, like my doctor (neurologist). I couldn’t believe it, I had got up and got some of their cool packs and had one on my arm when he came in. He didn’t care but he wanted to know what was wrong with my arm. I told him sun poisoning and he said, “what’s that?” (Hmmm, I thought doctors would know this stuff :s ).  Back to what it is, sorry, sun poisoning doesn’t hurt. It is where you have had excessive amounts of sun in the past and your skin just can’t take anymore rays. Small, prickly bumps pop out on you and it itches like the devil. If you scratch too much, you will have some awful scars left on you when it clears up. I have one down by were my watch will be, that is absolutely horrible. There was three bumps there together and I scratched and scratched and I am going to be left with a bad scar. Enough about sun-poisoning……..

We went yesterday afternoon to release the wildcat kittens. They are finally big enough to care for theirselves and I don’t want to keep them too long. If I do that, they will come to think all humans are friendly and kind and that could be very dangerous for them. Hubby and I loaded the cages on the back of our four-wheelers. We rode to the creek bed. I went to the back to both cages and opened the doors. I walked away and called the cats. One jumped out and followed me a little bit. The other two decided to join their brother. They got to looking around and playing. My hubby told me they would be fine and it was time to go. My eyes swelled with tears and I got on my four-wheeler and started back up the creek. Too my delight and my hubby’s dismay, I felt the back of my wheeler go down and then a thump! I turned around and it was one of the little cats we were trying to release. Hubby stopped and here came the other two just a running. I was so happy, I got down laughing and crying. Hubby walked over to me about half pissed and asked me, “what now?”  I told him that I guessed we would have to bring them out more and more to reintroduce them to the wild. So we shut the cage doors and off we traveled. I cried all the way back but I didn’t let hubby see me. They were tears of joy, I have become so attached to these three little guys it ain’t even funny. To a person who has never worked with wild animals, you might not understand how you can fall in love with some of the most vicious animals on the planet. It just happens. The more you are around the animal, the more you start to become attached even while they are showing their teeth at you, lol! Then the animal starts to trust you, cuddle up beside you and then you know, in that animal’s own special way they love you too. It is a wonderful experience that I wish everyone would have at least once. Maybe then, there wouldn’t so much cruelty and killing of these precious creatures.

*Personal Note*

I have never mentioned it but I foster animals for two local clinics. I have fostered about everything under the sun except snakes. No snakes, never!

Happy Friday, TGIF, However You Want to Say it, “The Weekend’s Almost Here!”

Good afternoon dear readers! I hope you are having a good Friday. I know I am. I love it when I have time to go out and ride my four-wheeler down into the creek bank. It give me time to think and ponder things that have been said or wrote to me during the day. I pride myself on being a thick-skinned witch. But there are still things that get under my skin. Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting in the creek bed feeding the bigger wildcats and thinking about a couple of messages I had got involving this blog.

One involved me whining all the time on the blog. Before I thought it through I had made my mind up not to leave anymore personal messages or say anything about my life. Then in the middle of the creek bed and about four hundred pounds of wildcats, it hit me. This is my damn blog. I am not a very open person to start with. But for my readers to get to know me and feel  comfortable with me, I agree to occasionally write insights into my life. Now if my life is whiny, I am so sorry. But it is just my whiny life I guess, huh? What it all boils down to is this, the WOTC is my blog. I provide information for those wishing to learn or interested in Witchcraft. I do this because my Goddess told me this is what She wants me to do. I also try to let people see the true beauty about the Craft. Dispel old myths and stereotypes associated with Witches and Witchcraft. Now after I get through doing the Goddess’s work, if I want to whine, bitch, gripe or any of the above, I am going to do so. But I have remained a nice, sweet, loveable (hee,hee, in my own opinion, lol!) witch and I plan on staying that way.
For those of you who are new to blogs (and the author who wrote this was), the comments come in the back and I see them before I release them to the public for them to read.  Of course, I am not going to release the nasty ones to the public, but I can guarantee the author(s) of those comments a couple of things. You will have my undivided attention (which you don’t want)  and I am going to personally email you also. I am going to continue to do as I have always done. If you don’t like the blog, go on to the next one. But leave me in peace.

Second, this turned out to be bogus after I checked into it. I had several people (come to find out it all came from the same computer) write messages stating the style of my blog was unreadable, unorganized  and just a mess (I guess that is why someone made me an offer to buy it, huh?). They told me, they had been taking stuff from my blog to use on theirs’ and their readers were complaining because they couldn’t read the stuff. I mean really, no one can make this stuff up, lmao! Everyone knows I have no problem with anyone using info from this blog. But once you take it from here, it’s your baby!  The more I thought about this one, I almost busted a gut laughing! But come to find out what these people wanted was to sell me a $75 web blog kit for WordPress.  They don’t know it but they are knocking on a poor witch’s door, lol! But I have come to love WordPress and how they keep up with posts in the back and I am very serious on this. In the back, I get your message then I also get your ISP number, cool!  So all my dear friends have nothing to worry about. They keep a record of the ISP in case of a hacker, spammer, or butthead. And I was able to track those buttheads that wanted to sell me the blog kit.
