Day: Thursday
Planet: Jupiter
Colors: Blue and Metallic
Ahhh Jupiter, you giant dick. While he is the go-to for power, money and good fortune, he’s about the long game. Fast money? Nope. He will give you more of what you have, so if you’re broke, you may be even more impoverished if you use any of his influence. Be careful with them herbs. Looking for justice? Thursday. Signing contracts or making big money moves? Thursday. Abundance looks different to everyone, but this is the day of plenty….sometimes that is just plenty of what you already have man. I’m serious here. My money spells done in the past before I got my shit together created lasting wounds. Expansion is painful when it comes from a space of lack. I said “I need money! I am broke” and he said “Hold my beer you desperate witch” and then I cried. Great money day if you are attracting what you are, but not what you want. I speak from my own experience and yours may differ, but if your money spells have backfired, look at the day and associations. If you see anything, take note. Everyone is different but I am not even ashamed to say that it took me years to figure this one out for my own magic. Good day for court and child support I must say.

The Hanged Man – Major Arcana
Meaning
The Hanged Man is a card of suspended animation, although this man tells us some force in his life is restricting him. It could be a dead-end job, relationship, or simply an unfulfilled life because there is no action. It also suggests that you are clinging to something that is not fulfilling. Maybe you have hopes and dreams pinned on a love that is not good for you or a job that will get you nowhere. Whatever you are waiting for, when The Hanged Man Tarot card appears, his message is that you need to let go and move on. It may take a sacrifice of some sort, and it will likely be a painful one, but once you do, you will find the gift sets you free.
Symbolism
The Hanged Man is one of the most ambiguous cards in the Tarot. In this Major Arcana card, we have a man hanging on a thread, his legs are crossed, and he appears to be going nowhere. This is the card of suspended animation. Are you waiting for news or waiting for a relationship to evolve to the next level? If so, this card says you may be waiting a while. The Hanged Man has his legs crossed in this card, suggesting he has no intention of escaping this situation any time soon. He’s content just to let things go as they are now. Most of the time, this card is not so much an action card as it is a waiting card. However, this card does suggest if you want to get out of this waiting stage, uncrossing your legs and taking action is up to you.

“Stay in the background and adapt to the situation rather than being conspicuous and attempting to direct the course of events.”
Even if you believe that you have the right answer for the dilemma at hand or a better way to handle things, at this time it’s best to surrender to the Will of Spirit and simply allow events to unfold without your direct intervention or guidance. Pay attention to what’s happening but become more of a witness/observer than an obvious participant. Simply by your presence you are participating; however, there’s no need to subtly or more blatantly push your agenda on those around you. Even when you’re physically present, you can contract your energy field (or aura) to the point where others may not notice you, thus allowing you to be unobtrusive and more easily blend in with your surroundings. With practice, you can get so good at this that you’ll be nearly invisible to others!
This isn’t a call for you to be passive, but to wait and contain yourself until you know with certainty that it’s time to step up and let your presence be known. When it’s time to do so, move quickly with focus and certainty. But in the meantime, flow with the situation instead of trying to make something happen. Whatever needs to occur is already in motion anyway, so go with it.

Coll/Call
Pronunciation – Cull
Tree Association – hazel
Meaning – Enlightenment, knowledge, creative inspiration, daydreaming, rituals, proficiency, and practicality. An ogham of great wisdom and considered quite lucky. It was believed this source of knowledge came directly from nature and by using all five senses you would comprehend this wisdom.
If reversed – Ignorance, insensitivity, creative barriers. Focus on growing and development; you lack education. If life has been disappointing you recently now is a good time to change your perspective and find the simple joys in everyday moments.

An Irish myth references Finn mac Cumhail, an apprentice who gained extraordinary knowledge from eating a salmon that fed on nine hazelnuts from the Well of Wisdom. (FYI, in case you didn’t notice, Coll is the ninth ogham).

Supreme success! Like the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, a person whose fortunes have turned for the better shines brightly now. At the core of true success lies unselfish generosity and modesty. It is the tendency of a flexible or yielding nature to draw powerful forces to it, especially when prosperity begins to manifest. When this added power is wielded with grace and dignity, we have supreme success and great abundance.
Ah, but be careful, Along with any accumulation of wealth or influence can come increased pride and arrogance. Fight this tendency if you want your good fortune to continue. Stay attentive enough to manage your affairs well. And remember while prosperity beats the alternative, it is only one element of a satisfying life. A lasting prosperity is one that honors the highest values and furthers the collective good.
