I was looking up the meaning of Tuesday in the dictionary, on the web, etc. I threw the dictionary on the bed and said the heck with that. I am not a book person. So I started scrolling down the search page and I ran across something that I was very interested in. I don’t know if you will be or not but it is a poem about children’s qualities being born on a certain day. You know, “Monday’s child is full of face.” My husband and I were having  disagreement the other night about what child had what quality. Now this shows up,hmm! But anyway, I didn’t learn this when I was  kid. I don’t know if you were suppose to our not. I was interested in seeing it and I hope some of you are as well. Just don’t think I crazier, lol!

Good morning, dearies! Happy Chinese New Year to All! I tried to find a graphic that fit the occasion, but……there was none to be found. I hope everyone is having a fantastic Monday.  I am feeling pretty good. The Sun is shining in all of its majestic glory. I think everyone feels better when the Sun shines. We had some bad storms come through here last night. I think I was up half the night holding my pup and wildcat (Razzy). Razzy hasn’t experienced a thunderstorm and high winds before. It was something else trying to keep her calm during the storm. But I finally managed it this morning around 4:00. I think she was too tired to care anymore. Of course, I was propped up against a file cabinet going, “cat are you ever going to sleep, Good Grief!” All I know is I woke up still propped up on the cabinet and she was asleep beside me. Considering all that I feel pretty good. I haven’t asked Razzy yet how she feels, lol!

 Happy Monday, everyone! I forgot about today being a holiday till I heard it on the News this morning. So Happy Martin Luther King’s Day to you too!  I hope everyone is having a great, long weekend. These long weekends does nothing but spoil us poor folks (speaking for myself, lol!). It would be lovely if the work week only last for four days.  

 

I must apologize for running late today. I had to go to the neurologist this morning. Unfortunately, he only takes morning appointments. It is definitely rough for a night-time Witch, lol!

I am going to try to do something really crazy today. I am going to actually do all my posts today! For the last couple of times I have tried to blog, someone comes in. Watch the smoke as it coils, and allow it to carry you off into the trance-like state that you
spend most of the day avoiding. Say whatever comes to mind, appealing to the goddess
or god of your choice to guide your dreams. I usually say something like:
Blessed be the Lord and Lady, For they created the world, The earth to hold,
The sun to warm, The moon to guide, The spirit to dream.
Take sips of the mugwort tea as you repeat the words, gaze into the smoke,
and when you feel yourself just about to “cross the line” blow out the candle(s) and say:

Turn to the South, salute, say:
By the power of darkening night, my shield is strong, my armor tight.
Turn to the North, salute, say:
By Full Moon in blackening sky, I am not alone. My help is nigh.
The Goddess’s hands around me stay, To keep me safe by night and day.
Begone, foul spirits, unbidden here. I send you back, I do not fear.
For I have won. I am set free. You have no further power over me.
Face the altar and take up the vial of oil.
Put a drop of oil on your finger and anoint your forehead, heart, solar plexus, wrists and ankles.
As you do this, visualize a shining blue suit of armor slowly descending over your
body until you are entirely protected. Cap the bottle and store in a safe place.
Thank the Powers for their help and extinguish the candles.
Apply the oil and repeat the chants whenever you feel the armor is slipping.

So who is going to send me a Thanksgiving Day invitation, lol! Should I give you a list of fixins’ I like now or wait? Just kidding, I wouldn’t want to give anyone a heart attack by showing up at their door for Thanksgiving Dinner. That would be scary to have unexpected guests just show up without you knowing about it. I ought to know, it happens to me every year. This yea I have relatives in from Florida. They invite themself so you hate to say, “No, you can’t come!” Besides they are family and they say they love my cooking???? 

I had some more questions come into about the blog. So I thought I would take a minute to answer one in particular. But first, I had several brief comments on what server I used for this blog because it loads so fast. I have WordPress to thank for that. They give you all the tools you need to make your blog then they host it. So WordPress is the one to thank for the fast loading. They do an outstanding job, with the tools they offer to build a blog, assistance they offer and then the fantastic job they do hosting it. So if you re thinking about building a blog, seriously consider WordPress. Now……

Select a theme for it that you love and also graphics. Make it a place that you want to sit down at your computer every day and visit. If you love to go there, so will others. After you decide on all of this you are ready to begin your blog. Don’t hop out and start submitting your blog to search engines just yet. Get some information on it first. Get quite a bit, that way the visitor has an idea of what you are going to offer. When you have enough information on your blog, submit it to every search engine you can find. Don’t just submit it once, do it every month.  When the visitors start coming to your blog, you have to stay consistent with your postings. Be devoted to your blog. Don’t post a lot of information one day and then the next nothing. Give the visitor something they know they can depend on to have fresh information everyday. This will keep them coming back. That is about all the suggestions, I can think of right now, Miquel. Running a blog is hard work but if you enjoy it, it is not work at all. Instead it is a pleasure and for me, it is a relaxing and soothing. It helps to get my mind off of what is going on in my reality. Just be sure to pick a topic you like and you are interested in.

Happy Monday, dear friends of mine!

Days Of The Week Comments 
Hello all you lovely people out there! I was sitting here thinking about the title I use everyday on these starter posts. “Happy,” I use that all the time. I was wondering what other greeting would be appropriate, “Joyous Monday,” “Blissful Monday,” “Funny Monday?” It just hit me, “It’s A Killer Monday, Tuesday, etc., you get the idea, lol! The word “Killer” hit me because I am about ready to kill my husband (not really). He is in the next room watching Battle: Los Angeles. We have surround sound and I swear he has the volume set at 100. The damn walls are rumbling. And you can’t talk to him because he can’t hear you. So I went in there and yelled for him to turn it down. Amazingly enough, he did and the walls still rumble. He is in the process of retiring and I honestly don’t know if I am going to survive his retirement or not. Kiki, Razzy, Stinker and I are going to get us a tent and pitch it in the backyard. My Monday was going great till he got up. Enough with the bitchin’! 

 

I had several comments in regards to this blog having a “Donate Button.” There was some confusion as if it did have one and it does. On the right hand side of the blog, scroll all the way down to the bottom. There it is. It is linked to our non-profit account and I just checked it. It is working properly. If you have found material that is beneficial, you just like the blog or would just like to donate, your donations and generosity would be greatly appreciated. I know you probably wonder why a blog like this would have a donate button. In this case, it is actually to keep the internet going were we can operate the blog. The internet service is provided through a local Co-Op. The Co-Op owns the lines and therefore we are very limited to what we can get. So the funds you donate goes strictly to paying the internet service (which keeps getting higher and higher each month). So if you find it in your heart to donate, thank you very much.
