Wednesday, the day of Mercury, is good for spells for money-making ventures, clear communication, persuasion, adaptability and versatility improving memory and sharpening logic, learning, examinations and tests, mastering new technology, short-distance travel and short breaks and conventional methods of healing, especially surgery. It is also potent for business negotiations, overcoming debt, and repelling envy, malice, spite and deceit. Mercury is a fleet-footed messenger God who carries the healing caduceus, a staff with entwine serpents.

Hail to Lilith, Lady of the night!
Your long hair flows outward,
Melding into the shadows
And your black eyes are ancient,
Deep with magic and secrets.
You are powerful and free,
No other being is your master.
You fly upon the wings of night,
And the owl carries your messages.
Since beginning times, you were there.
No man can tame you,
For why should you be tamed?
To be your own ruler is your nature.
The weak ones of mankind
Were afraid of you and called you Evil
Every inner demon
And dark shadow in the night
Has been ascribed to you, Goddess.
But your power and wild beauty
Have survived.
Teach me to be unafraid,
To feel power singing in my veins.
Help me to face and balance
The shadows in my nature,
And to be proud of my sexuality.
Protect me from the shadows
And the darkness that would harm me,
And help me to understand
The shadows that will not.
I thank you, Dark Lady.

It has been a while since I had talked to ya’ll. So I figured I might need too, to let you know I stilled love ya’. If you remember the last time I talked to you, I had fell and did a number on myself. My knee is still screwed up and the hand, well let’s say if I could cut it off and get a new one I would. The knuckles don’t bend. It lies flat and glides across the keyboard. The fingers occasionally get stuck and something like this might happen ssssssssssd or arrrrrrr. If I had to do it over I would have stayed home that dday. If I type too long my hand hurts and it is starting to hurt now. I wanted to let you know that I have opened a Crystal and Gem site. Also I have had some want a blog you could inteeract with other Pagans. There is a template that lets you do this but I don’t believe you can do the daily posts on it. Or there is a chatbox that can be easily added to this one. I wanted to know what you thought about the two. Also you will find the other’s blog’s addy below. Have a great weekend,
Lady A

…..it means enjoy the day to the fullest because tomorrow you go back to work. Sorry to remind you of that. But I hope you are having a fantastic weekend. I don’t believe I have done a think this weekend. I have a mile long list of things to do but I can’t get nothing done anymore. You might think this has nothing to do with what I was just talking about, but bear with me. I was watching a morning talk show and the topic was about getting older. How people suddenly realize they are just fine the way they are. They settle into theirselves and become comfort just being who they are. I got to thinking that is so true. When I was younger, I would put on the make-up, do the hair for about an hour, pick out the perfect outfit and then be ready to go. Sometimes I even did this just to stay at home. Now I don’t put on any make-up at all. I decided that was a waste of time. When I put on make-up, I thought it transformed me into a beautiful, ravishing creature. And I looked totally different. Yeah right! Well I found out when I quit wearing it, people still recognized me, they knew right off the bat who I was. Then it hit me, all the time I had wasted putting on make-up to be someone else. Why? I still fix my hair for about 15 minutes. I have let it do what it always wanted to do, curl. So I fluff some curls, grab a pair of short and a shirt to match and I off. I realized that the talk show was right, when you reach a certain age you do become comfortable in your own skin. You finally realize that you are alright just the way the Goddess made you. I have found the inner me and finally made peace with her. Come to find out she a pretty good old gal. She is very comfortable with herself. She takes care of things that need to be done but she doesn’t rush around anyway. She takes her time. She don’t get mad and upset. She is very laid back and she just loves to enjoy life. With this new me I have found, I could kick my own ass. She was there the whole time, why did I have to wait to now to find her? I know in my younger years, she would have made my left a heck of a lot easier. Then I got to thinking was she there then? Perhaps the me that I am comfortable with is a by-product of myself. Wonder what I mean by that? Me, too! Seriously, I believe the comfortable me is a product of my environment and my actions. But I believe she got rid of all the bad part os me, well not so nice parts anyway and left the good. She also has shown me what is important in life. I found out I had my priorities all screwed up. I have them straight now and I have fell back in love with my husband. I have put things into perspective. I know what is more important now. Like I mentioned earlier, I never seem to get things done. I get them done eventually but in the order of importance. You know if I have a comfortable me inside of me, I would bet you do too. Look inside yourself and accept yourself for who you are. The make-up, the clothes, the hair doesn’t make the person. It is the comfortable you that does. Don’t do like I did and wait too long to find her. Find her now and I guarantee you, you will enjoy life more than ever.
Guys, it just dawned on me, I have been a bad witch. I am so sorry that I didn’t use he/she in my writing, please forgive me. Truthfully I didn’t know where my writing was going. It was just rambling through my brain. So please forgive me and I will do better next time I promise.
Love to all,
Lady A

4 cups melt and pour glycerin soap base
2 tablespoons sunshine brew
Ground sunshine brew herbs (dried)
Yellow soap dye (optional, but if you do not use dye for this recipe, your
soap will appear a faint, murky yellow-green)
Soap molds or square Pyrex dish
4 vitamin E gel capsules
Grind sunshine herbs into a finer mixture-especially the ginger, this should be powdered. Follow soap-melting instructions as given on the package. Once soap has melted, with ladle, transfer soap to your Pyrex measuring cup. (If you melted the soap in the cup in the microwave, transfer won’t be necessary.) Whisk in desired amount of color and scent by following instructions given with those products. Add the two tablespoons of sunshine brews, and whisk. Add desired amount of herbs. Some individuals like very few herbs in their soaps, where others like a more generous amount–just remember that herbals can clog your drain if they are too large or you use too much. Break vitamin E gel capsules and add the liquid to your soap mixture. Vitamin E will help to preserve the chamomile. Makes approximately ten 6-ounce soaps.

In the arts, grace arises out of adherence to form: the dancer becoming the form of the dance, the musician giving life to the form of a musical score, the painter becoming one with the brush and canvas. In human affairs, grace is also aligned with form — with mastery of aesthetic and cultural patterns honed by time and honored by tradition. Through appreciation of graceful customs in human relationships we apprehend the pure beauty of the ideal, of life raised above the mere struggle for survival.
Possession of grace, like the bearing of a beautiful gift to a wedding, can add stature to those in humble positions. Take care to lend grace and dignity even to small happenings, while giving the weight of deep and careful consideration to matters of greater consequence. Though it should not be confused with true substance, an artistic flair can take one far in this world.
