Eihwaz
Eihwaz represents the Yew tree and its everlasting nature. The Yew may bend, but it does not break. You are on the right course and have the strength and ability to meet your goals. Congratulations!
This ‘Information Overload Day’ is a good time to be reminded that you have all the information you’ll ever need sitting right inside you. Unplug, get quiet, and listen to the small voice within. The information it wants to share can magically and positively change your life. Give yourself three minutes each day to get quiet and connect with your own source. The only thing that will be overloaded is your sense of happiness and harmony.

Purchase a Green Man magnet or acquire a copyright-free image of Green Man and make your own. The Green Man is such an old figure that there are many cool, classic images of him in the public domain available for you. You can put a picture of Green Man on a printable magnet available from any office supply store, or glue a round magnet on the back of a wooden disk and pain or glue a Green Man on the front. In a small envelope, place a one-dollar bill, a sprinkle of basil, and a leaf from your favorite tree, and then seal the envelope. Using the magnet, stick the envelope to your fridge. Empower it with the following charm:
“Draw to me the mighty green
Prosperity shall come to me.
Open my opportunities
Drawing forth magnetically.”

Invocation to the Green Man of the Heather
Hail, Green Man of the Summer!
Heather of the rolling fields,
Much beloved by the loyal
Disciples of that golden queen
Whose job makes sweetness,
Your flowers wave like the ocean
Making meadow into sea.
Cybele’s joy, she whose throne
Was surrounded by her not-males,
Who ruled the summer months
With lioness’s passion,
Red blossoms that cause heat
And white ones that brush it aside,
You teach us about attraction
And the joys of pursuit.
We hail you, sacred heather,
Green Man of the Summer,
On this the day of your true gold.
Chant:
Field into sea
Sea into honey
Honey into life
Life into earth
Earth into field….

Elder’s Meditation of the Day April 13
“Once you make a friend, a friend never leaves you, even to death. So a friend is really hard to find.”
–Wallace Black Elk, LAKOTA
Once, an Elder told me he made a decision to be my friend. He said this friendship wasn’t based on my behavior or how I acted; he said the friendship was based on his decision. He decided to be my friend. This friendship has happened like he said. Even if I don’t see him for a long time, or if I get mad at him, he has never changed his decision. This is true friendship.
Great Spirit, I’m glad you are this kind of Friend.
