Hello WOTC Family and Friends

Greetings Sisters, Brothers, and friends it is good to be back with you all. I am back this morning even though later than usual because of not falling asleep until 2 AM CDT and than getting up later than my normal 6:00 or so AM CDT. Needless to say the posting times starting at 9:00 AM CDT today have not started on time and I am working slower as every few minutes I am wiping away tears because my Dreamcicle is not here to help me stay on task.

We are still in emotional roller coaster mode in our home between the wedding and Dreamer’s crossing. So, with getting up late after crying myself to sleep and not having my Dreamcicle lying next to my desk nudging me with her nose or licking my ankles or trying to fit under my desk to cuddle while I am trying to type and post making it harder to concentrate this morning. I will be doing only 5 of the regular daily posts for today but all the regular day posts for Monday will go live this afternoon. I miss her so much but it is harder on Big Dawg because she has always been and always will be his big baby girl.

Thank you all for your warm, kind words and support during my time off! I really wanted to extend it for a few more days but as I am already coming back a day later than planned, I feel it would not be fair to you for me to extend it. Plus, I had to face coming back to my desk alone and I figure the longer I put it off the harder it would be to get back to work. So, if you feel sad energy coming from the posts for a few days it is because I am trying to get use to a new normal in my daily routine.

This morning I feel like the tortoise from the story of The Tortoise and The Hare…slow and steady wins the race. OK, onward with Sunday’s and Monday’s posts.

Breaking Bad Luck

You may need:

Small piece of ginger root

Fennel seed (if you cannot get fennel try dried sage)

Few cloves

Dried basil

Small bag or pouch

Optional – yellow crystal such as citrine

Put all the ingredients into the bag. If you have a small piece of any yellow crystal it is a good idea to add this too. Say:

“Herbs of the earth fill my life with light
Bring me good luck in a day and a night.
This spell is seeped in magick and mystery
Make my bad luck a thing of history
Bad luck will go deep into the ground
From now on good luck will follow me around”
So Mote It Be.”

Keep the bag with you for a day and a night and then bury it deep in the ground – somewhere that is not on your property. This will bury your bad luck.

INGREDIENTS

A small jar with a lid

Bay leaf (or a small scrap of paper)

1 Salt

Mustard seed

Cinnamon

Lilac flowers

Green aventurine chips

DIRECTIONS

Cleanse your jar and altar space with incense, Florida water, or your favorite cleansing method. Optionally, cast a circle or perform a grounding activity.

Add the salt to the jar and write your intention on the bay leaf or piece of paper. For example: “I am lucky, safe and abundant”.

Add the intention to the jar, along with the rest of the ingredients. As you add each item individually, be mindful of your intention statement.

Screw the lid onto the jar. Seal the intention by saying “So mote it be!”.

Posts Until Saturday, June 24th

This is our beautiful Dreamer and in the background is Star these two have become best friends over the last couple of years

Between caring for Dreamer in her last days as our breathing companion and wedding plans I will not have time to do all the regular posts. I will only be posting the daily (for some of my days off only one horoscope will be going up for the daily one but you can click on the link to read the other one) and birthday horoscopes, current moon phase, daily correspondence and a spell which will be going up on the day of instead of the day before. I will also get something up for Litha in the northern hemisphere and Yule in the southern hemisphere.

We have made the very hard and heartbreaking decision to do what is best for Dreamer by sending her across the rainbow bridge on June 22nd hopefully she crosses it at home before then. As I wake up every morning and still see our big baby girl suffering as we will not have the full amount needed for the vet to assist her across the bridge until Big Dawg is paid on the 22nd I find it very hard to concentrate on doing posts or really anything that takes my thoughts away from her except for our wedding day. I am taking the 23rd off to grieve and celebrate Dreamer’s time of living with Big Dawg and then myself. Yesterday we individually told her we want her to cross the bridge to be out of pain and be able to run and enjoy being whatever age she wants to again. Yes, there were many tears mostly sad at watching her quality of life go downhill so quickly and happy ones as we told her about our favorite times with her. I thought you might like to know how Dreamer got her name. As a pup Big Dawg saw she dreamt a lot about running as her legs were always moving in her sleep. So, he gave her the name Dreamer. My nickname for her is Dreamsicle as I love her and creamsicles.

As far as our wedding I am doing the nosegay bouquets and bootiners for it. Along with helping Big Dawg get the last of the papers served that he needs to do by the 21st. We will be getting married at approximately 1:00 PM CDT on June 21st!

This is a very bitter sweet time in our home. I ask again with tears in my eyes for prayers for Dreamer to cross the bridge here at home so her last thoughts are of a place she is familiar with and surrounded by her canine companions as well as Big Dawg and myself.

We are keeping Dreamer as comfortable as we can using manmade medicine and an herbal tea until we take her in on June 22nd to enter her eternal sleep. We are asking for prayers that she crossed here at home before then, so she is in a familiar place surrounded by those who love her both 2 legged and 4 legged. Yes, this is an extremely hard prayer to ask for, but we are doing it because we love her so deeply and want her pain to end.

UGH Very Bad Brain Fog from a Fibromyalgia Flare Today

I will try to get the rest of the northern hemisphere’s tomorrow posts done by the time they are supposed to go live which is about 4:00 PM CDT. Between the stress and worry over Dreamer, lack of a even half-way decent night’s sleep, and a cool, rainy day my brain went out to brunch without the rest of me. I don’t mean any disrespect with my wording over my brain fog but if I don’t laugh and whatever I would be sitting here crying. Brain fog is a very serious condition that can cause the person not to be able to focus on any task. Please bear with me today if I don’t get all the regular scheduled posts done as I also have a tension migraine. I am going to meditate which usually helps to center and ground me more so I can stay focused.

Good Day WOTC Family and Friends Here is a Update on Dreamer and a Little Chuckle for Today

Big Dawg started teasing me yesterday that he has plane reservations for June 20th to go to Florida. Our wedding is on the 21st. We went to bed late last night as it was really early this morning when of those nights it is hard to fall asleep due do worry over Dreamer. When he looked at his alarm clock this morning the date read 6/21. So, even his alarm clock won’t let him miss our wedding…LOL. He is counting down the days with me now as on the tenth day from to today we will become Mrs. and Mr.! I Will be taking June 20th, 21st, 22nd and possibly the 23rd off. I will schedule the birthday horoscopes, current moon phase and planetary positions to go live on their correct date. The daily horoscopes will only be from one source on most of these dates.

Dreamer is getting worse by the day. We have an appointment for her on June 22nd when we have made the very heart wrenching and difficult decision that will we ease her way into eternal sleep. I find it hard to believe that it will be around $450.00 to do this. I think and feel it is a shame that not only do human funeral homes and crematoriums charge too high of a price for laying a loved one’s body to rest but that animal ones do it also. We will be getting her ashes back to put alongside my beloved Boots, who crossed the rainbow bridge November 6, 2007, in a prominent place in our home. We are keeping her as comfortable as possible and spoiling her all that we can until we have the money for her to cross the rainbow bridge.

Sorry But I Cannot Post Today

I am typing this trying not to cry to hard, so I don’t make too many typos. THis has not been proof read either. I thank you for letting me pour my heart out again in a safe place! I have been up since 1:30 AM CDT with only 4 hours of sleep. Dreamer’s back legs are getting worse, but the doctor changed her medication 2 days ago and we are hoping it makes a difference. This is the last thing to try before we send her in to her eternal sleep.

This morning when it was time to take all of our fur kids out it took her 6 tries to be able to stand up, she went down the four steps fine but I had to help her back up them. Which is better than Star who is afraid to go down the new safer stairs we put in on Tuesday afternoon. But to be fair to both of the ladies I had a hard time being able to stand and go down and up the stairs this morning too. It looks like only our brave, protective male Merlin, who scared a poor baby rabbit by barking at it, likes the new stairs or he just doesn’t give a dam as long as he can get to his favorite bathroom spot.

Today we will be installing a ramp outside for Dreamer and Star to use. As our Cleo is 14 years old and hesitant to jump down off the cough or go down and up the new stairs, I am pretty sure she will choose the ramp also.

The ramp we got was given to us by a couple whose Chihuahua crossed over a few months ago. We need to make a couple of small adjustments to it, but Big Dawg and I work great on home repair and improvement stuff as we found out installing the new stairs.

Please say a prayer or light a candle for whatever is best for Dreamer be it that the new medicine helps or it is time for her to cross to be free from pain and whatever age she enjoyed being the most.

Good Day WOTC Family and Friends with A Thought for Today

My mantra for the rest of this week!

My life has gone into the express lane and will be here through the weekend. Big Dawg started a new job that he needs me to go with him to teach him the jobs cellphone app. He’s a little bit technically challenged when it comes to smart phones as he just switched from using a flip phone until last fall. Besides riding along with him as he delivers important papers to people all over the county, we live in I also have to print out the paperwork for him as I will not let him near my desktop computer that I use for WOTC, and all things affiliated with it. He’s already crashed it once on me, but I was able to retrieve everything I needed too and get rid of the nasty virus he had inadvertently let in. So, if some of the tomorrow posts show up later than normal it is because I didn’t get up early enough, like today I am 1 1/2 hours behind schedule, to finish them all before, we leave for the day. I will try my absolute best to still get all the regular daily posts up with no pictures.
