Good Morning WOTC! Wishing You and Yours A Very Blessed and Joyous Day! c. 2017

The Cauldron Chant

We form the Circle,
The Circle most round.
We form the Chalice,
The Chalice now found.

We call the Goddess,
to meet the great need.
We call the God,
To plant His fertile seed.

We call the quarters,
which we call four.
We summon the powers,
that contain the force.

We stir the Cauldron,
from which we were born.
We call the Gods,
from whom we were torn.

We say the words,
which lead us round.
We pass the kiss,
with our lovers found.

We face our dreams,
in nights psychic flight.
We face our hopes,
in bright moon of the night.

We face our fears,
on the Dark Lords Horn.
We face our failure,
in the Mothers new planted corn.

We live our lives,
druming and dancing on the meadow.
We confront our Death,
in the dancing moon light shadow.

Our paths run quickly,
on fleet foot and wing.
Our Circle is joyous,
with our Queens and our Kings.

Let our little Circle be happy,
with Bell, Bowl or Bow.
And form now this Circle,
with gracious Love, Joy and Hope.

A Thought for Today

For me this thought goes with my daily mantra or affirmation,

“Positive Thoughts bring about Positive Actions which make me feel better!”

A Thought for Today – Printable

Today’s thought is dedicated to a special reader, Alan, who is going through a bit of a rough time. I ask our WoTC family to send him comfort and positive thoughts.

(A Thought for Today) How Do You Measure a Soldier’s Sacrifice? c. 2018

IN HONOR OF THOSE WHO SERVE AND THE FAMILIES AND FRIENDS LEFT AT HOME.

How Do You Measure a Soldier’s Sacrifice?

How do you measure a soldier’s sacrifice?
Is it by the number of friends and family left behind?
Is it by the months or years given in service?

How do you measure a soldier’s courage?
Is it by the number of objectives completed,
Or by the number of bullets dodged or missions served?

How do you measure a soldier’s honor?
Is it by the duty he or she volunteers for,
Or by the number of medals earned?

The simple truth is that these things are immeasurable,
As is this country’s debt to all who serve,
And pay the price for freedom in this land.

Our Hearts and Our Words Can Never Express Our Thanks to All

Who Have fought and died and those still serving to this day for your sacrifices

and never questioning when there is a need you go,

You go to defend our freedom, our  rights and our privileges we enjoy in this great country.

Thank you for your service to our great country.

May the Goddess Bless Those Who have Made the Ultimate Sacrifice

And May She Watch Over and Protect Those Still Serving Our Great Nation To To This Day.

You are in our thoughts and prayers,

Come home safely our brave soliders

Come home safely!

Thank you for all you have given us.

A Thought for Today

When we have positive thoughts positive results do happen.

This includes finding Mr. or Ms. Right for you. Lord Beltane, or Big Dawg as he prefers to be called, and I dated from a year back in 2000 to 2001, I then broke it off for a man I thought was more stable and better for me. Boy was I wrong I allowed myself to be verbally, emotionally, and mentally abused for 19 years then the last straw came when in anger he destroyed an entire rack full of clean dishes, cups, and glass ware. He had lost his temper many times before but only pushed me once. When putting these two things together and having a history of domestic abuse with other boyfriends and husbands I finally found the excuses I was making of why I couldn’t move out were just that lame excuses. Thanks to some very dear friends and a cousin of mine I was able to move out the beginning of July 2020 and start life as what I thought would be a single woman the rest of this lifetime. So fast forward to September 2020 Big Dawg found me on Facebook through a mutual friend and start out by messaging through there than went to text messages and by the end of the month talking nightly on the phone. I moved in with him at the end of November 2020 and we are trying to plan a very small summer wedding and Handfasting. We have not had a major argument or even screaming to get a point across in the over two years we have lived together. It took us 19 years to find each other again but we both had for a lack of a better term growing up to do.

A little back history of why we are waiting so long to get married and handfasted. See back when we were first dating, he was married with two grammar school age children, NO I did not know this right away or I never would have dated him in the first place. Big Dawgs divorce was finalized in August 2022. I was also married and technically until my divorce is final hopefully by sometime in April, but my husband (not the abusive boyfriend of 19 years) and I have been separated since right after new year in 2000. I left him because he started using heavy duty drugs again among other very not nice reasons.

As you can see in my case taking positive steps to first love and be kind yourself Mr. or Ms. Wonderful maybe around a corner you turn one day. Love is patience and kind.

A Thought for Today – Poem “I Go”

Written by: Zakhe Michael Mcunu

I GO

I go where love is the key
I go where only hope seize
Let me go to the eternity
Where I will see splendid beauty
The beauty of stars and angels
Where the flowers blossom like in summer

There in the fallen misty mountains
There i shall see the great plains of Africa
And little houses looking like ants colonies
I go where all turmoil shall vanish
This is the home of all the kings of ancient times

Come with me so our names shall be remembered
Follow me to the bliss of pagan souls
Come hear how they are chanting your name
Hear the captain at the end of the bridge

Good Morning or Evening Beautiful WoTC Family and Guests – A Thought for Today

The Charge of the Goddess

Blessed be, and Blessed are,

The lovers of the Lady.

Blessed be and blessed are,

The Mother Maiden Crone.

Blessed be and blessed are,

The ones who dance together.

Bless be and blessed are,

The ones who dance alone.

She’s been waiting, waiting.

She’s been waiting so long.

She’s been waiting for her children

To remember to return.

The Charge of the Goddess is attributed to Doreen Valiente, a student of Gerarld Gardner. The poem, originally found in the Gardnerian Book of Shadows, is now loved by all wiccans as a statement of reverence for the Goddess and Nature. Valiente used materials from the Gospel of Aradia by Charles Leland (1901), and Aleister Crowley’s writings to compose the piece and it is commonly used to invoke the “Goddess” during Esbats and Sabbats.

From Lady Beltane: I am sorry many of the posts differ today than the way I want to go with them. It is a rainy gloomy day and my arthritis as well as a fibromyalgia flare is making it very difficult to type and sit at my desk. So, I did the best that I could for today. Also, the reason for only the regular daily posts to be up.
