Date night! As tonight is Valentine’s Day for those who celebrate or care, which I don’t because every day is the Thunderdome of love up in this house, Venus is here to help bring everyone closer…rawr. But not just romantically, friendship is for Friday too. Anything to draw more love to you is for Friday, whether it’s self-love, sexual love or even mending a rift. Fridays are my best bath days too. Not just for purification, but have you ever done a glamour? Mirror mirror on the wall. I have a friend who found out I was a witch and in the conversation, I told her about a glamour because she had a date. She looked right at me and said “You bitch. I knew there were nights you just looked too good. That’s not fair” We used to go out back when we were both single. The feminine power of Venus is also good for crafting, harvesting herbs, making potions, and just flat getting your drink on. Now we all know why I go live on Fridays. Secret is out. If I am creating a tea or anything for healing, I like to craft on a Friday. And hey, I know you don’t smoke weed, I know this; but I’m gonna get you high today, ’cause it’s Friday; you ain’t got no job… and you ain’t got shit to do. I smell Netflix and chill…. (movie reference #2).

Spell For Thursday – How to Cleanse an Object for Magical or Ritual Use

(YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE ANY SPELLS POSTED TO A DOCUMENT TO PRINT AND/OR SAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER)

How to Cleanse an Object for Magical or Ritual Use

Simply put, cleansing an object entails cleaning it. The distinction is that you’re not just cleaning it physically. What you’re aiming to do is cleanse it energetically.

The act of cleansing is the removal of all past energy from an item. Even with brand-new ritual items, unwanted energy can emanate from a variety of sources. Almost any product involves the energy of multiple people who handle it along the way, from its construction to its final sale.

If you buy something used, it already has a lot of energy from the person who owned it before you.

Why Cleanse an object before Ritual use?

Objects do store energy. And you don’t want to use a magical tool that has negative energies or energies you don’t know about because it will affect your work.

Because of this, you should cleanse all of your magical and ritual items. This includes your athame, robe, and any other tools you plan to use in rituals or keep on your altar.

Even the candles you use and the item you use to engrave sigils onto your candles should be cleansed.

How to Cleanse an Object

There are various ways to cleanse a magical object, depending on what you have on hand and the material of the item itself.

Cleansing is a rather easy process. Start by cleaning the objects normally and taking care of them as you normally would. For example, any stones should be cleaned with water and proper cleaners. Cast iron may be cleaned using salt and oil or any other way you want. Candles and other tools can be dusted off and cleaned. Cleaning and sanitizing drinking and eating vessels is essential. Then continue to clean it energetically.

Common Methods to Cleanse an Object

  • Smudging is an old ritual used by shamanic peoples all over the world. To cleanse an object, simply pass it through the smoke. It’s best to use a purifying scent like sage, sandalwood, lavender, or rosemary, but use what seems best for you.
  • You can also use your breath to cleanse and purify your tool by grounding and centering yourself first and then focusing your breath on the object.
  • Use the weather.  You may leave your tools outside, ideally on a windy day, and let the breeze take care of the work for you.
  • You can pass things over a candle flame, but be careful and make sure the object won’t get damaged. You’ll need some visualization abilities for this one since you’ll need to imagine the flame growing and surrounding the object to purify it.
  • Another natural cleanser is sunlight. Put your ritual items in bright sunlight for at least an hour to burn off any bad energy. This will leave them clean and ready to be charged with your energy for the best results.
  • Moonlight works similarly and is preferred for any objects that may be faded or otherwise affected by the sun’s light and heat. This is especially important when it comes to some gems and plants that you might want to use in spells.
  • You can wash the object in running water, like from a faucet or a stream, and say a simple prayer over it while imagining all the bad energy leaving the object and white light filling it. You may alternatively submerge the object in water that has been added a pinch of salt or a few drops of a purifying essential oil. If the object is very fragile, simply sprinkle it with a few drops of salt water.
  • If the object is resilient, you can bury it for at least a day in dirt or salt. Any negative energy will be absorbed by the soil or salt. Sea salt has been used for a long time to clean up dense energies, especially in crystals and candles. Simply bury the object for at least a day in a basin of salt, then remove and rinse – make sure to get rid of the salt. You can change this method by mixing sea salt with water and soaking or sprinkling your objects. But, depending on what they are made of, not everything lasts well in a salt bath, so you should do some research first.
  • Visualization is the simplest method. Take the object in your hands, and visualize a clean, pure white light coming through your hands and into the object. This will flush out any bad energy and fill the object with pure, clean energy.
  • Sound is another effective approach to releasing and breaking up stagnant energy; try ringing a bell or some chimes over your more delicate ritual items and ingredients to cleanse them for magical usage.

Use your discretion and be realistic when it comes to cleansing. Metal should not be soaked in seawater overnight because it will rust. Similarly, you should avoid placing paper near a fire.

Witchcraft – Definition, History, Varieties, & Facts

Witchcraft, traditionally, the exercise or invocation of alleged supernatural powers to control people or events, practices typically involving sorcery or magic. Although defined differently in disparate historical and cultural contexts, witchcraft has often been seen, especially in the West, as the work of crones who meet secretly at night, indulge in cannibalism and orgiastic rites with the Devil, or Satan, and perform black magic. Witchcraft thus defined exists more in the imagination of contemporaries than in any objective reality. Yet this stereotype has a long history and has constituted for many cultures a viable explanation of evil in the world. The intensity of these beliefs is best represented by the European witch hunts of the 14th to 18th century, but witchcraft and its associated ideas are never far from the surface of popular consciousness and—sustained by folk tales—find explicit focus from time to time in popular television and films and in fiction.

Meanings

The modern English word witchcraft has three principal connotations: the practice of magic or sorcery worldwide; the beliefs associated with the Western witch hunts of the 14th to the 18th century; and varieties of the modern movement called Wicca, frequently mispronounced “wikka.”

The terms witchcraft and witch derive from Old English wiccecraeft: from wicca (masculine) or wicce (feminine), pronounced “witchah” and “witchuh,” respectively, denoting someone who practices sorcery; and from craeft meaning “craft” or “skill.” Roughly equivalent words in other European languages—such as sorcellerie (French), Hexerei (German), stregoneria (Italian), and brujería (Spanish)—have different connotations, and none precisely translates another. The difficulty is even greater with the relevant words in African, Asian, and other languages. The problem of defining witchcraft is made more difficult because the concepts underlying these words also change according to time and place, sometimes radically. Moreover, different cultures do not share a coherent pattern of witchcraft beliefs, which often blend other concepts such as magic, sorcery, religion, folklore, theology, technology, and diabolism. Some societies regard a witch as a person with inherent supernatural powers, but in the West witchcraft has been more commonly believed to be an ordinary person’s free choice to learn and practice magic with the help of the supernatural. (The terms West and Western in this article refer to European societies themselves and to post-Columbian societies influenced by European concepts.) The answer to the old question “Are there such things as witches?” therefore depends upon individual belief and upon definition, and no single definition exists. One thing is certain: the emphasis on the witch in art, literature, theatre, and film has little relation to external reality.

Uncrossing’ means getting rid of all unwanted and unneeded energies and attachments. 💫 If you believe you may be suffering from a hex-related illness or a run of misfortune, try an uncrossing ritual.

How this Uncrossing Spell works

Bay leaf 🍃 is a strongly protective herb with commanding aspects. In the Middle ages, bay leaves were used to protect people from the plague in various spells and charms. Learn more about Bay Leaf Magic.

Cinnamon promotes healing and is used for opening roads and in purification rituals. More spells with Cinnamon.

Two incense sticks ⚔️ are going to act as our uncrossing agent. Some practitioners prefer to use oils, but in this case we will cross two Frankincense sticks to symbolize the act of physically uncrossing all negative energies.

Cross the two sticks of incense on the dish and light them.

Let the incense and the candles burn completely. Don’t let candles burn unattended!

All disturbances, hexes, negative influences and curses will now begin to disappear. If you’re dealing with a particularly strong energy, you can repeat this uncrossing ritual with new incense sticks and candles for 7 consecutive days.

Once you’re done, bury or throw away all the remains in the compost or trash as you say Thanks.

All Signs

This week is pretty chill. Take it easy if you can. Don’t push the river. Fair Venus has just moved into starry eyed Pisces, which will definitely promote romance, as well as everything to do with making art as well as appreciating art in all its forms. Take time to smell the proverbial roses and enjoy the beauty in the world around you. Remember – even though Daylight Saving Time will begin tonight and rob you of an hour; nevertheless, in the much bigger picture and certainly in the long run – you will never again be as young as you are right now. (Profound to ponder.)

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Two different influences are at play for you this week and they are contradictory. (Of course, life does have its contradictions.) A strong influence still exists that makes you want to engage in sports and outdoor activities, especially team sports and competitions. (You are a competitive sign.) In fact, you’ll get a lot of personal satisfaction from whatever you do. However, countering this impulse, you also have a desire to be low key. You might even feel rewarded by taking care of someone. You will definitely welcome some time alone to relax in privacy and alphabetize your blessings. In particular, you might ponder how you can get richer this year – because you can.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is a pleasant week! It’s also an excellent time to enjoy friends and group activities. People will be friendly to you, which is a big reason why you will enjoy social occasions, parties and good times with friends and groups, including business conferences. Romance will also be warm and friendly; and for some of you, a platonic relationship could become flirtatious. (Who knew?) Basically, friendships will bring love and love will bring friendships. Despite all these feel-good vibes, four planets at the top of your chart continue to arouse your ambition. Now you see what is working and what is not. Move on from failure and give your energy to what really matters. Your time is precious.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

You look really good to others this week because both the Sun and fair Venus are at the top of your chart making you shine in a attractive way! Others will admire you, particularly parents, bosses and authority figures. They will see you as someone who wants to work harmoniously with everyone. Because you have this magical advantage, this is a great week to make your pitch or do whatever you can to advance your agenda. Ask for what you want! Meanwhile, some of you might fall in love with your boss or an authority figure. Legal disputes might arise for others. You will also identify strongly with your political and religious beliefs now.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You need a change of scenery! (Lucky Cancers are in Mexico or fascinating places abroad.) Not only do you want to explore new places, you also want to learn new things, discover new facts and beliefs and have a consciousness-expanding experience that promotes and broadens your understanding of yourself and the world around you. Naturally, a chance to “get away from all this” is a perk! Grab it if you can. Meanwhile, disputes about shared property, taxes, insurance matters and inheritances are also likely. (It’s a sad fact that you never really know someone until you have to share an inheritance with them.)

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Not only is this a pretty chill week, it’s also a fortunate week for Leos because gifts, money, favours and practical assistance from others can come your way. These favours to you might be the result of disputes with partners and others that have finally reached a settlement. Whatever the case, be grateful for whatever comes your way. Fortunately, if you have a grievance with someone you will have the confidence and energy to speak up and defend yourself. But avoid bickering. Meanwhile, in a sweet way, romantic relationships will be more loving, affectionate and intense. And let us not forget that this is the year when you will promote your name and good reputation in the eyes of everyone.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Lucky you! Venus has just moved into the best sign possible for this planet. (According to astrology Venus is “exalted” in Pisces.) Furthermore, this excellent configuration of Venus is now in your Seventh House, which is the House of Partnerships and Marriage. This is the best place it can be for all your relationships – friends, partners, spouses and even your enemies. This means all these relationships will function more smoothly. You will have a better understanding about where the other person is coming from and what they’re dealing with. You will also be more likely to express your affection to others, something everyone wants to hear. This is the perfect week to patch up misunderstandings and mend broken fences. Meanwhile, you’re pumped to work hard and be productive! (I’m impressed.)

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is an easy-going week, which is happy news for you. However, the theme of “work hard/party hard” is more apt for your sign. You will feel healthier and more invigorated this week; plus, your working relations with others will be excellent. This is a good time to review and discuss agreements and clarify the duties and obligations you have with others. What do they expect of you? Meanwhile, you feel playful, supportive and daring! You’re ready to enjoy flirtations and romance with others. In fact, you might even make the first move. Why not? Life is short and you can’t win if you don’t buy a ticket.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You have a lovely week ahead! Both the Sun and now Venus are travelling through the most playful part of your chart. Therefore, you can expect to enjoy entertaining diversions, social outings, movies, the theatre, sports events and playful times with children. Romance will be blessed! Meanwhile, look for ways to express your creative talents. Obviously, this is the perfect time for a vacation or any kind of a fun getaway. The main thing to remember is that it’s important to set aside some time for yourself to have fun and personal enjoyment. Give yourself this chance to enrich your world. (Also keep in mind that close relationships will flourish this year.)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Your focus on home, family and your private world continues but in a more relaxed and easy-going way this week. Make time for decorating efforts – big or small. Tidy up your surroundings. New towels for the bathroom? Colourful pillows or a throw in the living room? Do something that makes you enjoy your home more because this will please you when you entertain — and this is a great week to invite people over! Enjoy the company of loved ones. (“It’s a joy to labour for those you love.”) Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, continue to look for ways to improve your health, as well as to improve your existing job or get a better job. This is possible!

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a pleasant week for you because Venus will now bring all kinds of attractive nuances to your daily activities. For example, your social life will be more enjoyable, especially with relatives, siblings and neighbours. Other people will be happy to see you and vice versa. Personally, you will also have a greater appreciation of your daily surroundings. Not only that, you might realize how much love there is in your daily world. That’s why this is the time to let others know that you care for them, either by gesture or telling them out right. Why not? What’s to lose? You’re the one who is enriched by feelings of caring for someone else. (Just as they are enriched by caring for you.)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

All the zodiac signs will enjoy this week in a pleasant way, as will you; however, you will also be focused on your wealth and your assets more than usual. Perhaps you are looking for a new job or another way to boost your income? Some of you might be shopping for beautiful things for yourself – or someone else. If so, you’re looking for something special and beautiful. Meanwhile, you have the ability this week to attract money and wealth to you. Ka-ching! This will be a busy fast-paced week but you will be confident, upbeat and bold about defending your own best interests. Oh yeah – you’re in the zone!

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Not only is this a lovely week for you but it is powerful because the Sun is in your sign along with your ruler Neptune and fair Venus. (Venus actually enters your sign on Monday the 11th to stay until April 4th.) This certainly promote your desire to relate to others. It makes you charming and diplomatic, which is why you will enjoy good times with friends. You will definitely choose pleasure over work, if you can. Obviously, this is a great window of time for a vacation. It’s also an excellent time to buy wardrobe items for yourself because you feel comfortable in your own skin, which is why you’ll like what you see in the mirror. (It’s always best to buy wardrobe goodies when you’re feeling good about yourself. Especially fun shoes or boots.) “How do ya like me now?”

The Moon’s current phase for today and tonight is a New Moon phase. During this phase the Moon is too close to the sun in the sky to be visible. The moon rises and sets with the sun and is not present in the night sky. Because of this the night sky is darker and an excellent time to view other celestial objects. Like the Full Moon, a New Moon happens at a very specific time when the sun and moon have the same ecliptic longitude and it can be measured down to the second it occurs.

Astrology for Magick and Witchcraft by Guest Author Andy

Astrology for Magick and Witchcraft

Have you ever wondered how astrology can be used in magickal and witchcraft practices? Well, you’ve come to the right place!

Astrology has been an integral part of occult practices for centuries. The movements of the planets and stars can profoundly influence our lives here on Earth. By understanding these cosmic energies, we can harness them to enhance our spellwork and rituals.

The Basics of Astrology

Let’s start with a quick astro 101 lesson. Astrology is based on the positions of the planets and stars at the exact time and place of your birth. This is why you need to have your birth chart drawn up by an astrologer. Your birth chart is like your cosmic fingerprint – there’s no one else on this planet with the same chart as you!

Your chart reveals the zodiac signs and planetary placements that influence your personality, talents, and life path. The most important factors are the planets, the 12 zodiac signs, and the 12 houses. Each planet rules over certain areas of life. For example, passionate Mars rules drive and energy. Communicative Mercury governs thinking and speaking. The Moon controls emotions and intuition.

According to Wisdom Tavern, the zodiac signs add color and meaning to the planetary placements. For instance, assertive Aries brings out the fighting spirit in warrior planet Mars. If Mars is in mystical Pisces, its drive may be directed toward spiritual pursuits. The houses divide up life into different realms like career, relationships, spirituality, etc. Your planets fall into specific houses, showing where you’ll experience their energy most strongly.

Why Astrology Works for Magick

So how does astrology fit into witchcraft and magick? In both practices, timing is everything. To do spells or rituals, you want to harness natural cosmic forces. By checking astrological cycles, you can determine the perfect moments for your workings. It’s like sailing – you’ve got to catch the right currents and winds to smoothly reach your destination!

The most basic way to use astrology is by planning rituals around moon phases. As the Moon waxes and wanes, its energy shifts. During darkened New Moons, it’s wise to do introspective shadow work or banishing spells. When the Moon is full and bright, channel its illuminating beams for abundance or healing magick. You can also coordinate spells with Moon transits through the zodiac signs. For example, set beauty and glamour rituals when Luna is in lovely Libra.

But it goes much deeper than just the Moon! Every planet has its own magickal associations that you can tap into. Let’s quickly look at how to apply each planet’s energy:

  • Sun: Spells for success, fame, leadership, and confidence
  • Moon: Magick for emotions, dreams, intuition, and the home
  • Mercury: Workings related to communication, mental focus, and education
  • Venus: Matters of love, pleasure, beauty, and partnerships
  • Mars: Magick for courage, strength, passion, and determination
  • Jupiter: Spells to enlarge things like prosperity, generosity, and abundance
  • Saturn: Rituals for stability, protection, discipline, and banishing
  • Uranus: Magick to create change, originality, reform, and invention
  • Neptune: Mystical energy for divination, psychic dreams, and spirituality
  • Pluto: Deep transformation, rebirth, inner power, and shadow integration

As you can see, each planet brings something different to the table. By picking your planetary energies wisely, you give your spells a cosmic boost. If you want to get very precise, you can also choose electional charts. These are astrological maps picked for starting projects under optimal stars.

Astrological Tools and Timing

Okay, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of using astrology hands-on. To harness those cosmic currents, you’ll need some charts and calendars. Don’t worry – astrology software makes it easy these days.

First, get your natal chart and learn it inside and out. See where your personal planets, moon signs and rising signs are. Study how they fit together to form your magical blueprint. Next, get an astrological calendar or ephemeris to track daily movements. Refer to this to see when the Moon shifts signs or when Mercury goes retrograde.

To go even deeper, you can get electional charts cast. These special star maps pinpoint the most fortuitous times to begin any endeavor – perfect for magick! There are also fixed charts for starting businesses, marriages, building homes, and more.

In addition to charts, you can use astrological talismans. These are magickally charged objects made under certain astro alignments. You can find ready-made talismans or make your own. Stones, metals and herbs linked to each planet make great talisman materials. Rituals performed at elected times bring them to life!

Let’s Do Magick! Applying Astrology in Practice

Now for the best part – putting astrology into practice! Let’s look at how you can actively use astrological timing in your own rituals, spells and divination:

  • Rituals: Circle casting, sabbats, initiations, rites of passage, etc. Choose elections for empowerment!
  • Spells: Any spell can benefit from astro boosts. Pick moon phases and planets that resonate.
  • Magick Tools: Begin making or consecrating at elected times – even better with talismans.
  • Divination: Readings done under helpful aspects will be more accurate and clear.
  • Meditation and Astral Travel: Use Mercury retrograde or lunar voids. These magician-friendly times support inner work.
  • Herbalism: Moon cycles determine when to plant and harvest. Planetary hours enhance herbal properties.
  • Crystals and Stones: Charge/cleanse stones under related planet energies to activate their powers.
  • Tarot: Read for yourself during helpful moon or planetary transits for more insight.
  • Astrology: Cast your natal chart and others’ to understand personalities and relationships.

The possibilities are infinite! Whatever your practice, sprinkle a bit of astrology on top to take it to a whole new level. Keep your calendar and charts on hand to check the cosmic weather daily. Over time, planning by the stars will become second nature.

Bringing the Heavens Down to Earth

As you can see, astrology is so much more than vague horoscopes. It’s a vast magickal art that’s been used for centuries. By understanding the celestial cycles, we can work with the Universe rather than against it. We earthly beings are all affected by the cosmic tides. Using astrology wisely allows you to harness the stars’ endless energy and direction.

So get out there and glimpse the awesome heavens above us! Learn the ancient language of the night sky. Let the planets and luminous Moon guide you toward deeper wisdom. Always remember that magic is everywhere – even in the endless Universe reflected in our astrology charts. The stars await – are you ready to follow them?

The Full Moon for this month will occur later in the month on Monday, March 25th*. The New Moon is earlier in the month on Sunday, March 10th.

March Full Worm Moon

March’s full moon is commonly called the Full Worm Moon. This is because of the earthworms that wriggle out of the ground as the earth begins to thaw in March. Here’s a little known fact about March’s full moon: it was called the Worm Moon only by Southern Native American tribes. In fact, there’s no way the Northern tribes would have ever called it the Worm Moon – and the reason why is fascinating.

Essentially, earthworms did not exist in Northern America. It would be literally impossible for Northern tribes to see worms popping up in March. All the earthworms you see in Northern America today are invasive species brought in by colonists. These earthworms were brought over either out of a misguided intent to help fertilize the soil, or as an accident along with transported plants or the soil used for ballast in ships. Little did the colonists know that during the last ice age, glaciers had spread so far across Canada and the northern parts of the United States that all earthworms had been completely wiped out.

When the deep ice melted 12,000 years ago, the native forests in those areas grew back and adapted to the loss of earthworms. The growth of these forests became dependent on a layer of duff, which is a compost layer comprised of decomposing leaves and other rotting organic matter. If you ever visit one of these native forests, you will be asked to clean your shoes and make sure it’s free of earthworm eggs. That’s because while it’s normally harmless everywhere else, earthworms will aggressively destroy the native forest’s duff layer by eating right through it.

This is why in Northern American tribes such as the Shawnee tribe, the Worm Moon is called the Sap Moon instead, as a reminder for the tribes that they can begin tapping maple syrup. In general, March’s full moon is known as a herald for the beginning of spring and new agricultural cycles. The Anglo-Saxons even used the Worm Moon as a way to predict the state of their crops. They called it the Storm Moon if it was stormy, which was a sign that their crops would fail. But if it was dry, they called it the Rugged Moon, an indication of a bounteous harvest.

One of its other names is the Chaste Moon, symbolizing the purity of early spring. The Pueblo tribe named it the Moon When the Leaves Break Forth, while in Shoshone culture it was known as the Warming Moon. Sometimes it is called the Crow Moon, after the crows and other birds that appear as winter draws to a close. Other times, it’s called the Crust Moon, because of the snow that becomes crusty when it thaws in the sun and freezes in the moonlight.

In India, March’s full moon is also seen as a symbol of the arrival of spring, and coincides with the festival of Holi. This is a riotous party where Indian communities all around the world engage in a huge water fight. Everyone goes out into the streets and sprays each other with colored water and powders, singing and dancing with strangers and loved ones alike. Playing and feasting together is a chance for you to repair relationships that have gone bad, reaffirming your existing social bonds as you move forward together into the new year.

All Signs

An important warning: Mercury will be retrograde from April 1 to April 25 (virtually all next month). Furthermore, Mercury will start slowing down beforehand during the last week of this month. Then afterwards, it takes a while to catch up to where it was when it first went retrograde. This means if you want to buy a new vehicle or a cell phone or a computer, I recommend you avoid doing so from March 24 to May 15. (“Whaaat?”) Naturally, Mercury never slows down in its orbit in the sky; this is all relative to planet Earth. Once again, if you want to update your cell phone or buy a vehicle or a computer, be smart and act now — in the next three weeks — or wait until May 15. Sobering but true. “Alfred, send out the bat signal.”

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This is a popular week for you. It’s also a productive week, even though you might choose to be low-key and “hide” or work behind the scenes. Having said that, this is a great week for research of any kind. Discussions with bosses about finances will go well. By midweek, you will be particularly successful if you need to rouse the energy of others, especially friends or members of groups and organizations. You’ll be leader of the pack! However, even though you will get a lot done this week, do be aware that something unexpected might occur with friends and groups on the weekend. Sports accidents are highly likely. Be careful. Sunday is a friendly day.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

At the beginning of this week, you might have strong feelings of escapism. “I need to get away from all this!” Nevertheless, the vibes will change and this will actually be a productive week for you because your ambition is aroused. Not only that, authority figures will cooperate with you, which will help you to open doors and move projects forward to completion. This is also an excellent time to discuss your hopes and dreams for the future with someone older or more experienced. Someone younger might help you get things off the ground. Tread carefully by the end of the week because relations with authority figures are dicey. By Sunday, everything is cozy once again.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This is a powerful, productive week for you, mainly because you’re creating a great impression on everyone. The Sun is still at the top of your chart casting you in a flattering spotlight, which means authority figures and bosses are impressed with you. This is why your discussions with authority figures will be successful. Meanwhile, travel for pleasure will appeal. However, do be aware that by the end of the week, especially on Saturday, travel accidents are possible. Furthermore, changes to travel plans are highly likely. Scheduled trips might be cancelled or delayed; meanwhile, you might suddenly have to travel when you didn’t expect to do so. Sunday, romance with someone “different” will blossom. (Oh my.)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

On Monday, you will be wise to cooperate when dealing with others, especially in group situations. You might also find yourself travelling more than usual or dealing with people from other countries and different cultures. Legal and medical matters will be a focus. This is also an excellent week to finish important papers and manuscripts. Meanwhile, disputes about shared property, taxes or debt might take place. In fact, be aware and protect your interests in shared property because on Saturday, disputes and unexpected events could impact your share of something with someone else. If necessary, appeal to a group for help.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This will be a productive week for you, especially if you cooperate with others and work in tandem with someone. On Monday, work-related travel is likely. By Tuesday, it’s important that you listen to others and be conciliatory. You might encounter opposition from someone; however, you will also have support, especially from parents and authority figures. The big theme this week is that you can be productive with the help of others! However, at the end of the week, especially Saturday, fights or disruptions with partners and close friends could be a drag. Saturday is a poor day for important discussions with partners. However, Sunday is a lovely day for romance!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You’re in a playful mood at the beginning of this week. This is why you’ll enjoy socializing with others and having good times at sports events and fun activities with kids. (Romance is definitely favoured.) Nevertheless, this will be a hard-working and productive week for you, as well. Count on getting a lot done! Discussions with partners and close friends will be important. Despite your high productivity this week, sudden changes, work-related accidents or failed plans might occur at the end of the week, especially on Saturday. Tread carefully! Fortunately, by Sunday, things are back on track and friendly for romantic partners.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is a lovely week! You can expect to socialize in a busy way that will make you feel you have accomplished a lot. On Monday, you might entertain at home; or a group might gather where you live. As this week progresses, creative projects and anything to do with sports, working with children, or activities with the arts, the entertainment world and the hospitality industry will flourish. Some of you will explore vacation plans. One thing in your favour is that financial and practical help from other sources will be available to you. However, on Saturday, double check bank and financial agreements. Likewise, be vigilant with kids to avoid accidents. On Sunday, romance dazzles!

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This week two different energies are present. One highlights things happening at home and within your family. For example, you’ll accomplish a lot with home improvements and redecorating projects, plus entertaining at home. But a different influence makes you want to get out and play! You’ll love vacations and fun outings because you’re in the mood to explore and enjoy fun activities with younger people. Romance will favour you, especially with someone younger. (You might see this in action at the end of the week on Sunday.) Stock the fridge and be ready for surprise events on Saturday. Appliances might break down. Family arguments might occur. Do what you can to smooth things over with everyone. (Gulp.)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Your primary focus continues to be on home and family this week. Home repairs and family discussions will take place. Nevertheless, this is also a busy, productive week for you. Expect short trips and lively discussions with others. At the beginning of the week, financial matters will favour you, so look for ways to boost your income on Monday. You might also see ways to improve your job or your health, because your communication skills are excellent. You’re persuasive and convincing! However, please take note: the end of the week is an accident-prone time for you, especially on Saturday. Pay attention to everything you say and do. By Sunday, the vibes are social, sweet and romantic.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is busy, fast-paced week! You’ll be eager to talk to others as well as teach and learn. Monday is a playful, fun-loving day; but afterwards, you will swing into work mode and get a lot done! You’re keen to work hard this week to earn money; however, many of you are also spending money, especially on beautiful things for yourself or loved ones. Keep your receipts because financial upsets at the end of the week, especially on Saturday, might take place. Something might go wrong. Protect what you own against loss, theft or damage. Guard your money. Thankfully, short trips and friendly discussions with others will please you on Sunday. And peace was restored to the land.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Money, possessions and cash flow are your focus this week. Nevertheless, this is a productive week for you, especially because fiery Mars is in your sign boosting your energy, making you proactive and giving you drive and ambition. Expect to get a lot done! Nevertheless, do be aware that the end of the week, especially Saturday, is an accident-prone time for you. Something might blow up in your face. Plans could go awry. A sudden argument with someone, especially at home, might take place. Try to stay grounded and in control so that you will avoid saying or doing something that you later regret. Fortunately, the week ends on Sunday with warm, gentle vibes. In fact, romance is blessed! Go figure.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

An interesting week! With the Sun and busy Mercury in your sign, you will get a lot done. Much of this will be work that is done behind the scenes, even secretly for some of you. Your ability to work with groups and friends is strong on Monday. At the beginning of the week, research into any area that interests you will pay off for you. Secret love affairs and hidden activities are also a theme this week. Be careful because something related to a secret could blow up in your face on Saturday. Tread carefully! For example, a secret romance might be exposed. (“Busted!”) This might also relate to secret activities connected with someone from your past who is back on the scene again. You might have to do some damage control.
