October 25 – Daily Feast

October 25 – Daily Feast

At one time, most of us thought we knew it all, and later on, we wished we had kept quiet until we had learned something. Discovering the depth of one thing makes us think we have tapped a reserve of wisdom and knowledge. What we really learned was how much there is left to learn. We want to know; it is our nature. But most rebel at being taught, especially the things of the spirit. What we learn should always be carefully examined – but never with the intellect alone and always with the spirit. Life, itself, is the spirit and it should never be allowed to suffer malnutrition.

Today’s Tarot Card for October 18th is Wheel of Fortune

Wheel of Fortune

Friday, Oct 18th, 2013

The central theme of what is traditionally called the Wheel of Fortune card is cyclical change. The Wheel keeps on rolling, churning events in a ceaseless progression of ups and downs, either way freeing us from the past. No one can escape its cyclical action, which can feel somewhat terrifying — no matter whether we are rising or falling. When one is balanced on top there is a moment of crystal clarity, but the only part of the Wheel not going up and down is the hub, which is your eternal Self, the Source of Freedom.

Every one of us will occupy all the points on the wheel at some time or another. The cycle of the wheel is its lesson — and we can learn to take comfort in it (as we do when we celebrate our birthday). If you don’t like the look of things right now, just wait — things will change. Of course, if you do like the look of things right now, enjoy it while it lasts, because that will change too!

Daily Motivator for October 17th – Make it great

Make it great

It is nearly impossible for one person to quickly achieve great things. Yet  it is within any person’s reach to do small things, again and again, until they  add up to great results.

If you attempt to jump across a wide chasm in a single bound, you’ll fall  helplessly to the bottom. However, when you walk carefully down one side, then  across the floor and back up again, you’ll make it successfully to the other  side.

What is it you seek to do, or have, or become, or experience? Work on it  steadily, in challenging yet achievable steps, beginning right now.

Those who greedily want it all immediately end up with nothing but  frustration. Those who persist, and then persist some more with one step after  another, can reach whatever level they choose to reach.

The only way to truly enjoy the reward is to also enjoy the journey that  brings you to it. Every moment, every obstacle, every advance and setback, every  twist and turn is part of that journey.

Have faith, patience, purpose and unstoppable persistence. You’ll get there,  and will indeed make it great.

Today’s Tarot Card for October 17th is The Hermit

The Hermit

Thursday, Oct 17th, 2013

The challenge of what has traditionally been known as the Hermit card is to be able to recognize a teacher in a humble disguise. This font of mysterious knowledge will not make it easy for the student to acquire his wisdom, as it takes time and long contemplation to fathom what he knows. He often speaks wordlessly, or in ancient and barbaric tongues, communicating with the elements, animals and Nature herself.

While the hourglass was an identifying feature on the earliest Hermit cards, more modern ones have shifted the metaphor, showing more or less light released from his lantern. In either case, the Hermit card reminds us of the value of time away from the hubbub of civic life, to relax the ego in communion with Nature.

Daily Motivator for Oct. 16th – Stronger than the problems

Stronger than the problems

Do not seek to be free of the problems. Work to be stronger than the  problems.

A life with no problems would be a life with no opportunities for growth or  achievement. That’s not what you want, and it is certainly not realistic.

In the real world there are difficult problems, and there will always be. Yet  there are also countless possibilities for progress and true fulfillment.

Don’t waste your time fantasizing about a life free of problems. Instead, use  your imagination and your efforts to transform those problems into positive  value.

Embrace each situation as it is, along with all the problems. Accept that the  problems exist, and you can then begin to successfully work through them.

Life will always be challenging in one way or another. So rise to the  challenges and use your unique set of abilities to make life great.

Today’s Tarot Card for October 15th is The Chariot

The Chariot

Tuesday, Oct 15th, 2013

Traditionally, the card usually entitled the Chariot points to a triumphal feeling of freedom, as if the charioteer is being paraded through the streets as a hero (or heroine). The card reflects congratulations for high achievement, and serves as a sign of empowerment.

Huge wheels and frisky steeds speed the rate at which the driver’s willpower can be realized. This kind of charge makes more of the world accessible to anyone ambitious enough to seize the Chariot’s reins. But there is danger in this feeling of freedom, because of the increased rate of change and its power to magnify mistakes in judgment. As a seasoned warrior, the Charioteer is called upon to be extra attentive to the way ahead.

Your Ancient Symbol Card for Oct. 9th is Simplicity

Your Ancient Symbol Card for Today

Simplicity

A much revered swami said “Simplicity is the nature of great souls.” There is a natural sense of art and genius in Simplicity. Keeping things simple produces solutions that are not only efficient but work well and are easy to maintain and build upon. Whether it takes a physical form or is an idea simple constructs please our aesthetic self. Simplicity is soothing, because you don’t have to fight your way through layers of complexity to see and understand the end result.

As a daily card, Simplicity indicates a time when you will do well by looking for simple solutions, and avoiding that which cannot be easily understood or implemented. In short, if a plan can’t get you form point A to point B without any side trips, then it is the wrong plan. Look for answers that you see immediately, that sets the proverbial light of in your head and makes you exclaim Eureka!

Lady A & The WOTC

Good Morning! Good Morning! Good Morning, my precious family!

Good Morning, my sweets! How are you doing today? I must say I actually got some sleep and I feel great!!! I haven’t pulled such late  nights in I don’t know how long. Friday night, I was up till 4 in the morning. Saturday, I went to bed a little earlier, 3:15. Yesterday, I slept late and then finally nailed the graphics I wanted to use for the site. I think I got it done and bed by 1:00. Tonight I will pass out and miss my favorite show, “The Black List.” If you haven’t seen it, it is a great show.  Ok, back to the graphics and the message on the front page….Do you approve of the message? Did I get our point across? I haven’t received any feedback so I guess I did. But I won’t know till I actually hear from a few of you. If I left anything out, let me know and I will find a way to put it in.

Next, if you will notice I added a third item to the raffle this month. Since there is more wholesalers, there is more to play with, lol! Personally, I would love to have that crystal ball. I will probably end up buying one before it is over with. I have to say, you are getting the better deal than I will. But, I need your input. What kind of items are you interested in being raffled off? Let me know what you would like to bid on and I will do my best to get it. The pendulum is pretty nice too (just thought I would throw that in).

So I need some help from you. I need to hear from you. HELP!

Since I know I will be hearing from you soon and my mind is now at ease…..I am off to work.

Have a very super day and a very Blessed Week,

Luv & Hugs,

Lady A

Your Ancient Symbol Card for Sept. 18: The Priestess

Your Ancient Symbol Card for Today

The Priestess

The Priestess is the Gatekeeper of the subconscious, the unknown. She travels in worlds which most of us only glimpse in our dreams. Her realm is that of unseen truths, untapped potentials, and hidden dangers. Purely Yin in nature, The Calling of The Priestess is to go beyond the obvious and visible to tap those powers which are veiled from normal vision. While she is passive by nature, she has the power to uncover unknown potential and is very aware of the infinite potential all humans harbor within them. She is also very patient. She can wait for events to blossom in their own time.

As a daily card, The Priestess suggest the answers you seek can only be found by looking beyond the obvious. This is a span in which you may do better by applying the power of your subconscious to your everyday actions. Your intuition should be very strong. Be patient, allow events to unfold and you will find propitious moments of opportunity

Temperance

What is traditionally known as the Temperance card is a reference to the Soul. Classically female, she is mixing up a blend of subtle energies for the evolution of the personality. One key to interpreting this card can be found in its title, a play on the process of tempering metals in a forge.

Metals must undergo extremes of temperature, folding and pounding, but the end product is infinitely superior to impure ore mined from the earth. In this image, the soul volunteers the ego for a cleansing and healing experience which may turn the personality inside-out, but which brings out the gold hidden within the heart. (This card is entitled “Art” in the Crowley deck.)

Learn Telepathy Exercise using Playing Cards

You will need a pack of playing cards,
a sheet of paper, and a pencil for score sheet

Feel yourself to be truly “here” and “now” present
Still your mind
Do not think of any other place. Do not think of the past or the future
Do not think of anything
( this is the hardest part of learn telepathy, to still the mind – meditation can be a good telepathy exercise in preparation for transmitting telepathic signals)

Choose one person to “send” and the other to “receive”.
Sit down back to back with another person , the receivers back faces the senders back

Sender shuffles the pack of cards and lifts up the top card looking at it
Sender then “tap’s the card” signaling the beginning of transmission
Sender then mentally ‘send’ the color red or black depending on the colour of the card to the mind of the other person
Receiver then tries to connect with senders mind to see if they can pick up what is being telepathically send

There are several ways of “sending”
imagine the word red or the word black when you close your eyes, or think of a red or black object, i.e. imagine a red fireengine, a red flower, a red carpet or a black Porsche, black soot, black dustbin Esc

3. The receiver then calls out the caller that he or she thinks the card is.

4. The sender places a tick (for a correct answer) or a cross (for a wrong one) on the score sheet
TELEPATHY SENSE,TELEPATHIC EXERCISES,TELEPATHIC,TELEPATHY,

Results:

There are 52 cards in a playing card pack

Your Ancient Symbols Card for August 21 is Futility

Your Deck of Ancient Symbols Card for Today

Futility

Sadly sometimes our desires lead us down paths which have no end and offer us no chance of achieving the results we want. If we persist we end up like Sisyphus: forever rolling a boulder uphill only to have it roll back downhill before we ever get to the top. Futility suggest the existence of just such a situation–we are chasing a prize that will never be ours. Futility indicates a need to rethink our ambitions and direct our energies towards a goal or goals that can be attained.

As a daily card, Futility implies that you are putting energy into goals that cannot be met. It suggest the need to rethink your desires and possibly find a new goal or goals to chase.

It's Here, Check it out……

I ordered 4 BOS’s for the “Raffle for a Cause.” Three of them came in. I was beginning to sweat it. But Mystie went down to the Post Office and guess what was there! You got it, the 4th BOS. Take a look…….

Isn’t it fantastic. Check out the details on it…..

Double Dragon Leather Blank Book of Shadows

The Double Dragon leather bound, blank book has been hand tooled to  depict the image of two dragons facing each other in fight, with their  scaled, serpentine bodies entwined. The result is a beautiful image of  harmony and mysticism, certain to inspire those who put their thoughts  to pen within the pages within. These pages are acid free, and made  entirely of recycled biomass. The result is approximately 250 pages of  sturdy paper that is well suited for accepting pencil, ink, and even  light washes or paints.

The book measures 7″ by 5″ and is held closed with a leather strap.

I am going to add it to the raffle page. I am so happy I got what I wanted to put up for auction. Everyone of you are super great people and I think you deserve the best. Remember the auction runs to August 25th. Then if you win you get your choice of one of the 4 BOS’s.

Here’s the link again. Give me a minute to add this one to the page. Have Fun, Enjoy & Good Luck.
