Goddess Grant Me Patience

Wednesday Images

Goddess, grant me patience

Help me to have tolerance

For the flaws of others

And my own imperfections

Let me wait calmly

For those things that cannot be rushed

And maintain serenity

In the face of adversity

May my temper be even

And my words kind

As I am a reflection of your grace

So let me be patient

So Mote It Be.

October 15 – Daily Feast

October 15 – Daily Feast

Some of us go to great lengths to keep from doing detail work – anything from flipping through a directory for one name in ten thousand to guessing at amounts in a recipe. No time, no time. Time isn’t saved by guessing. Even when we hit it right once in a while – most of the time we are just a little off. How many of us take our basic instructions from hearsay – how many don’t really want to know anyhow? Life itself has an instruction book. There’s no reason to guess at what is right or wrong. We have a script for every part we play in life. When we have a need of any kind, the script has the wisdom to handle it. The Scriptures leave out nothing – and the biggest mistake we can make is to say we don’t believe it – and go off to figure it out by guessing.

Green Man

Green Man peers out of the foliage to remind you that not all of life’s mysteries have logical solutions. Be open to magical opportunities, spirit allies, and unconventional paths. Get out into the wilderness, ground yourself in meditation, and listen for Green Man’s wisdom. You may just catch sight of him eyeing you in his leafy camouflage.

Let’s Talk Witch – What’s The Atmosphere In Your Home?

cat

What’s The Atmosphere In Your Home?

In homes that aren’t brand new, the feeling tone is something that has built up over a period of months or years. If the people who live in the house are predominately happy, we feel it. If tragedies have happened in the house, we feel that, too. Houses, like people, feelings you pick up when you walk inside a house and through its rooms. It’s almost as if the walls hold secrets, the floors whisper tales, and the porches laugh or weep.

Even new houses have a certain feeling tone. You can sense that everyone from the architects to the tradespeople has left his or her imprint on the rooms. Houses, apartments, duplexes— all of them speak to us. Even hotels have voices. The Overlook Hotel in Stephen King’s classic The Shining has absorbed decades of emotions from the guests who have stayed there, and that emotional residue has taken on a life of its own. In a sense, that hotel is very much alive.

The same is true in Shirley Jackson’s book The Haunting of Hill House, in Richard Matheson’s novel A Stir of Echoes, and in every similar story ever written or filmed. The difference between fiction and life, however, is that the energy that imbues a place isn’t always bad. It’s often uplifting, buoyant, and optimistic. It might even make us feel on top of the world as soon as we cross the threshold.

What is the feeling tone of the place where you live Use the following “Brainstorming” exercise to find out:

1. Describe your home.

2. Describe how you feel about your home.

3. What would you change about where you live, and why

4. Describe how you feel most of the time when you’re at home.

5. Is your home spacious enough to accommodate everyone who lives in it comfortably?

6. Are the rooms cluttered?

7. Which areas or items in your home don’t work or need attention? Think about your attic, basement, roof, doors, floors, walls, carpets, sinks and faucets, electrical outlets and so on.

8. How do most people react to visiting your home?

9. Do you like your neighborhood? Why or why not?

10. Describe your dream house?

11. Why did you rent/ lease/ buy this place?

12. Overall, how would you describe your experiences in this house? Have you been predominantly happy, sad, or indifferent?

Analyzing Your Home

Question 7 is especially important because it helps identify possible challenges and problems in your life right now. Look at the various listings as a metaphor. Let’s say your garage door is stuck. It won’t go up. If we look at the metaphor for what a garage door represents, perhaps you have trouble admitting new people and experiences into your life. Maybe you feel trapped. Maybe you don’t know how to open a door to opportunity.

The answers to 8 and 12 might be similar. If your experiences in your home are predominately positive, that is probably what other people will feel. The reverse is also true. This doesn’t mean that the feeling tones of a place are confined to either/ or, good or bad, black or white. Quite often, we live in shades of gray. We walk the middle. We don’t experience extremes. Our homes also absorb that.

With spells, you can protect, energize, and calm your home. You can cleanse it of negative energy, boost its positive energy, ward off potential enemies or problems, and create atmospheres of success and happiness within its walls. You can make your home easier to sell and you can cast spells to find the home of your dreams. In short, you can do for your home and living space what you do for yourself. The same rules apply. It’s all about belief, intent, and desire.

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’ for October 14th

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’
By Joyce Sequichie Hifler

When there’s thinking to be done a person does well to have a little private retreat…..a place where there’s no worry that any minute someone will interrupt. And the very ease of knowing that here is a little time to do nothing but just think.

Except that I must carefully direct those thoughts so never to let them roam to things that serve only to disturb. But where does one find a place these days that affords a time alone?

It doesn’t take much room to think. Some have little special places hidden from view…..a hillside maybe…..a sunny spot along a path…..a closet not so large…..a park bench…..or they may even take a drive.

But that place that is always available to us is that place within our own selves. This is the secret place within the heart where desires are stored. And no matter what we do, where we go, thoughts are productive.

Here is where thankfulness is stored…..here is where love is born…..here is where the very life of life is built and rebuilt. This is our retreat when there’s thinking to be done.

The Witches Spell for Oct. 13th – Bend Over Spell, Oil & Powder

cat

Bend Over Spell to Get People to Do What You Want Them To

This spell can used anytime you want to get control over another person and bend them to your will. You can purchase Bend Over Powder and Bend Over Oil or you can make your own from the following recipes:

Bend Over Powder

Combine equal parts of the following:
Allspice

Calamus Root

Cinnamon

Bend Over Oil

To make the oil, combine the above powdered herbs, cover it three times over with almond oil. Keep it in a warm place for two weeks, shaking it once or twice per day. Strain and bottle it. For extra power add a few drops of Bergamot and Vanilla oils

Classic Bend Over Spell

Items You Will Need:

Black image candle to represent your subject

Paper

Red Ink (Dragon’s Blood Ink preferable)

Write the subject’s name nine times on the paper, then turn the paper 90 degrees and cross and cover it by writing, “Bend Over” nine times over the top of the names.

Inscribe the subject’s name on the candle. If you have a photo, signature, hair, fingernail clippings or a small personal item belonging to the person, carve out the bottom of the candle and insert this.

Anoint the candle with Bend Over oil and rub it in as you project your desires onto the candle. Envision what you want the person to do and how you want them to behave toward you.

Place your candle on its holder. Dip the four corners of the paper into the Bend Over oil. Sprinkle it with Bend Over powder. Fold the paper toward you two times, enfolding the powder in the middle. Imagine your desired outcome as you do so. Turn your paper 90 degrees and fold it one or two more times. Then place it under the candle holder.

Sprinkle Bend Over powder around the candle. Light it and let it burn all the way down. Bury the remains near the subject’s home or business and forget about it.

Ethical Spell-Casting

Ethical Spell-Casting

by Skye Alexander

Whether simple or complex, all spells involve focusing the power of intention to produce outcomes. Your intention not only provides the fuel that energizes a spell, it also colors the spell. As discussed in Chapter 1, your motive for doing a spell determines whether it’s “white” or “black” magick, or somewhere in between.

There’s nothing wrong with doing “gray” spells — most spells, in fact, fit into this category. It’s not incorrect or selfish to use your magickal talents to improve your lot in life. However, a wise witch always examines her reasons for casting a spell before she takes any action. Sometimes the only difference between a gray and black spell is your intention. Let’s say, for example, you want a certain job. It’s logical to do a spell to improve your chances of landing the position you desire. But if your spell intentionally causes someone else to lose the job so you can take over, that’s black magick.

Black magick doesn’t always involve the ritual of casting a spell. Many people perform black magick without even realizing it. If, in the heat of the moment, you curse someone or wish something bad to happen to him, you’re doing black magick.

It’s also important to feel good about the spells you do. Witches have different opinions and preferences when it comes to working magick, and although certain practices may not be wrong, they might not be right for you. For instance, some witches engage in sex magick, but it’s not for everyone. Stay within your own comfort zone.

Witches subscribe to a few general guidelines that constitute morally responsible spells. Here are the basic spellcraft “don’ts.”

  • Don’t design a spell that might harm another person or interfere with his free will.
  • Don’t cast a spell that includes components or methods that violate your own personal taboos or ethics.
  • Don’t work with languages or symbolic items that you don’t fully understand.
  • Don’t do spells if you are ill, angry, or otherwise off-center, as this can affect the outcome dramatically.

If you follow these simple guidelines, you’ll avoid the problems, pitfalls, and unpleasant ramifications that can sometimes accompany spell-casting.

If you argue with stupid reasoning you end up being stupid. Expressing an opinion can run you out of bounds and into areas that are not yours to argue. And no one has any business matching wits with someone who hasn’t a notion of honor. Consider what good can possibly come from a heated debate with someone who is in it for the argument alone. When there is noise and insult, the reason is weak. Someone said ignorance is behind every argument – but let’s not let it be ours.

Good Blessed Thursday Morning to my wonderful family & friends!

(Wow, it is finally Friday! This seems like it has been a loooong week. Way to much going on in the world and personally. I hope you are planning on a nice relaxing weekend. I am!!!)

Well I figured I would just leave the graphic and opening message. I have run a day ahead all week long. Sure indicator I am definitely ready for Friday to get here, lol! Please, Friday hurry! All the other info on this post is correct. I am sorry again but like I said it has been a loooong week and now my bubble is bursted 😦

Just a couple of reminders real quick……The spell for Washington to get its act together ends tonight. Then we will wait a day or two to see if any effects result from the spell. I know it was a mild spell. But these days, when it comes to the Government, you have to be careful what you post. Websites are being monitored and we really don’t want the CIA carrying any of us off. We would have to be smuggling in a saw in a batch of wands. So if by Monday or Tuesday of next week, we will try a more potent spell. It won’t be posted on the net. I have never been in jail and don’t won’t to go. Neither do I want the site closed down. But I think Washington is starting to make some progress perhaps not as quickly as we would like but what can I say?

I think one group that has stepped up during this whole mess deserves to be mentioned in our prayers. That is the Fisher House. It is pitiful that a private organization has to bail the Government out of their obligations. Thank the Goddess for them though. They stepped up and helped out our grieving military families. I know I am going to thank the Goddess for them and also ask that She bless them. Thank you, Fisher House, for being their when you are needed most!

Lastly and I will get to work…..It is that time of the month again for us to update our Pinterest site. After the dailys have been posted today, we are going over there to update and keep our site current. As you know if you don’t post so often the sites are shut down. You know us we wait to the last minute to do anything. So if you want to come over and check the site out, come on. We will be there working our little rumps off.

Now off to work, I go!

Have a fantastic Friday and a safe & relaxing Weekend,

Luv & hugs,

Lady A

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’ for October 9th

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’
By Joyce Sequichie Hifler

It has become increasingly noticeable how the power grab has reached even the lower levels of living. It is a right thing for us to try to raise ourselves. To fail to try would earmark us for failure….and yet up the shaky ladder of success climb so many bodies without spirits, so little understanding of what is ahead….and often less of what is past.

If we could only realize our power comes not from grasping the coattails of others, but from a higher source that knows the way….that places before us the right steps, the correct manner, the much needed wisdom and inspiration.

Why is it that when all this guidance is available to us, we let the littleness of our souls hold us back, believing all the time that any forward motion is because we have learned how to twist situations to our own avail.

How sad the lot of those who discover all the rungs on their ladder are on the same level. “Power will intoxicate the best hearts, as wine the strongest heads,” wrote Caleb Colton. “No man is wise enough, nor good enough, to be trusted with unlimited power.”

October 9 – Daily Feast

Never take on more than is yours to handle. When you are a caretaker by nature, it can appear that the whole world rests on your shoulders. Some of it does, of course, because no one is without responsibility. But when you begin to think you have to do it all, it is time to back off and reassess your position. Life is a matter of give and take – and if you try to do all the giving, someone is going to get the idea they don’t have to do anything. The only way they can receive is to give first. And if someone else does all the giving, there’s something amiss – and it may be you.

May the Goddess Bless You On This Beautiful Wednesday!

Good Morning, dear family & friends! How are you doing this beautiful morning? I hope better than me. It seems whether it is either early in the morning or later in the day, there is something around here to drive me crazy. Yesterday, I had people talking in both ears and in my face with ideas. Let’s do this, let’s do that! Wonderful, I love it and their ideas. But please, don’t give me ideas and talk to me when I am composing a spell. I updated the spell for the madness to end this morning. I felt bad about dragging Politics into this site but after last night’s news I don’t. The news about our Military families made my mouth drop open. I know some of the Senators were calling it a “disgrace.” The word “disgrace” does not describe what these Military families are being put through. It is bad enough that there Loved Ones are sent into war but then being killed. I can’t imagine the grief they must feel then the government up and deserts them. They can’t get their Loved Ones home. Then they are not going to be given the proper rights and funeral they deserve. I just don’t have the words to even describe this. My heart breaks for them.

It is pass time for all of this to end. No telling what is next. Help stop it before it ever happens. The Military families are such a low blow. These brave souls gave their lives were the idoits in Washington could have the right to argue and shut the government down. I wonder if they ever thought about that. Now they can’t even bury them.

Let’s stop it NOW! Join with us casting this simple spell every night till Washington starts doing the job we elected them to do. Give us back our country, our rights and our benefits that they are denying us all.

Now that the dust is starting to settle
And the heat of the moment is passing
Help (The House/Senate/Congress) come together
To create legislation that will last

Let them realize the time for fighting is over
Let the healing begin
Let all involved acknowledge
In this fight, no one wins
Suffering comes to all

Help them put their differences aside
Let their pride no longer stay
Let them instead mend their quarrels
And let harmony rule our Country once again.

So Mote It Be

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’ for October 8th

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’
By Joyce Sequichie Hifler

Isn’t it true that when someone says something is wrong, our first thought is, “What have I done wrong now?” That constant fear of having a finger of accusation pointed in our direction – that guilt complex that can plague us into admitting guilt when it isn’t ours.

Shakespeare wrote, “The mind of guilt is full of scorpions.” And surely it is. For we often take more on with a feeling of guilt than is required of us. It is more often a feeling of fear, fear of being ridiculed, blamed, or even threatened.

A guilt complex can be erased. Not in a day, and maybe not completely, unless we are dedicated to keeping it out of our minds. We are so prone to throw fuel on the fire that we must always be completely aware of the thoughts we entertain.

But certainly, with turning to our innate faith and wisdom we can find enough courage to recognize the ghosts of guilt and see them for what they are.

Perhaps in the final analysis we find we were not guilty at all. We feel relieved, but if we were guilty, the relief of admitting mistakes is just as great.

St. James says to keep quiet, control your tongue – though no one ever has. Your boat may be huge, but your little tongue is a rudder that can turn a very big ship in the wrong direction. The tongue is like kindling wood that can set a whole woods on fire. Keep your tongue quiet, very quiet. And then St. Mark says to speak – speak to the mountain and tell it to be gone. Not only be gone but sink into the sea. A mountain of trouble needs us to use our tongues. Speak what you want and need, not what you do not want. There is a time to speak and a time to keep silence. These are the times that make us who we are, what we are, and what we will have. Life and death are in the power of the tongue.

We get to know ourselves when we are alone. What may have brought us to this place may not be as important as what to do now that we are here. When we are with other people we listen to them, but in solitude we follow our own way. Great strength comes from the quiet and it prepares us for times when the sands run very fast. Solitude is never withdrawal but being with ourselves, learning what affects us, and what of it can be given to others. We learn how to be a good friend when our attention is not divided – a good friend to ourselves and a good friend to another who needs it.

Daily Motivator for October 7th – Love this day

Love this day

Love this day and it will be good to you. Treasure this opportunity to  experience life, and the experience will be beautiful.

The progress you seek does not always come in the ways you thought it would.  Yet when you seek, and persist, and expect it, that progress does always  come.

Don’t let yourself become too troubled by the troubles. Remind yourself to  take it all in stride, and you will find great value and richness along the  way.

Go forward with clear and positive intentions, seeking to make a beneficial  difference for all. In whatever may happen, you will discover new ways to  further your authentic purpose.

In its every aspect, life is predominately the way you consider it to be.  Consider it to be unique, precious, miraculous, filled with opportunity and  abundance, and give each moment of your reality a positive flavor.

Make the decision to love this day, this place, this moment, this special  experience of life with the people around you. And there will be so very much to  love.

Your Animal Spirit for October 3rd

Mockingbird

Mockingbirds are master imitators, and can mimic the calls of many other birds. They’re also fearless protectors of their nest, and will attack any bird (no matter how large) to protect their young. Mockingbird’s lesson for you today is twofold: to listen to how you might be mimicking others—instead of listening to your own true voice; and to examine the value of what you defend. Hmmm?

Daily Feng Shui News for Oct. 2nd – ‘Feast Of The Guardian Angels’

I pray that you love today’s ‘Feast Of The Guardian Angels’ just as much as I do. According to angel archeologist and author JoAnn Cornug, Angel Eliel has long been called upon to put magic and miracles in our lives. It’s believed that when this angel is invoked, he can conjure your wishes for you, especially if you say the following invocation: ‘Eliel, Eliel, Eliel, reveal the magic in our purpose. Eliel, Eliel, Eliel grant me my wish. Eliel, Eliel, Eliel amaze me with your grace.’ Amazing grace indeed.
