Shadowscapes Tarot deck from the author Stephanie Pui-Mun Law deserves a masterpiece in a diverse Tarot world. The deck currently stands Top 10 of All Time by Aeclectic community site. In response to many fans’ expectations, Llewellyn Publications released a version of Shadowscapes with a large companion book. Some people will consider this Tarot deck graceful, beautiful and mysterious in a miraculous fairy scene. And so they are not interested in it. But others – fans of the fantasy genre – enjoy it anyway.

This deck is fundamentally composed based on the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith version that blends with the iconic system of fantasy wonderland and cultures around the world. Each of Shadowscapes cards is a delicate watercolor painting. The style of drawing with rich and luxurious details and the wonderful movement of watercolor will make their owners charmed.

The cards in Shadowscapes Tarot are delicate watercolor paintings – a work of art – and can be seen in its elegant details and rhythmic movements. The reader will be hypnotized by the same beauty. When the reader starts to get used to it, they seem to be lost because of that beauty and can understand the messages of each card. However, when you become familiar with it, you will no longer be afraid of that mystic beauty, so this problem will quickly fade with time and experience.

Furthermore, it seems that this deck works well with people who have a type of reading based on questions like “what do you see going on when you look at the card?” And the answer becomes part of the experience. Therefore, for less experienced readers (especially those who depend on RWS template), this is not an easy deck. It requires deliberate thinking and time to get used to the cards. For example, there is a fairy who is looking at a skull in the Wheel of Fortune (the skull is a traditional illustration of death in our perception) but you may easily ignore this character because the Wheel behind is too gorgeous to hide her.

Two of Cups – Romatic love; marriage and all that entails

Description: A young couple toasts one another at their wedding dance. There hands are entwined and they are looking at each other intently.

Interpretation: This is obviously a marriage but is the couple looking at each other with smoldering passion or with contemptuous disdain? It’s either a fabulous match or a complete sham.

If I’ve learned one thing about weddings, it’s that the externals, the trimmings,  don’t matter a jot. If the couple aren’t dancing together as one, then no amount of cakes,  chintz, or confetti will make it work.

Weddings are important, not in a preachy or moralizing way, but in a magical way. The ritual act knits together the couple, their friends, families, and the community.  That’s why, when couples decide to break up,  we all feel shaken. Conversely,  a good wedding renews our vows.

So while the Two of Cups is undoubtedly a wonderful, romantic card that you should beb delighted to receive in a reading, it is also a reminder to consider carefully the ritual of marriage and all that it entails. Marriage is hard at the best of times and deserves a good start. If you choose to do it, you might as well do it right.

This should also be done if anyone besides you picks up and/or touches the object. It should also be done to a black stone weekly if it has been empowered to collect negative energies to ensure it is always at its peak of power to collect negativity before it gets overloaded and leaks onto and/or into you and.or someone else.

What you will need:

The object to be cleansed

Small bowl of water

Regular table salt without Iodine if possible

Feather

White candle

Small white cloth

How to cleanse any object:

Fill in the blanks with the proper element or object depending on where the blank is in the sentence.

If you are cleansing a stone, crystal, gem, semi-precious gem the wording it change to say for each element, “______ I ask you to remove all energies but mine and the _______.”

Add the salt to the water. place the object in the salt water with your power hand (the hand you write with). Then say three times, ” Earth and Water I ask you to remove all energy but my own from this ______”. Take it out of the salt water with your power hand. WARNING: Some gems and crystals should not be left sitting in any type of water. For those things sparingly sprinkle them with the salt water (Earth/Water Element) on all sides.

Place the object on the white cloth. With your power hand pick up the feather. Wave it over the stone saying three times, “Air I ask you to remove all energy but my own from this _______”. Turn the object over and repeat until all outside surface has been done.

Light the white candle then pick the object up in your power hand. Move the object over the top of the flame (being careful not to burn yourself) saying three times, “Fire I ask you to remove all outside energies from this ________”. Turn the stone over and repeat until all outside surface has been done.. Place the object back on the white cloth and blow out the candle.

The white cloth represents Spirit. While an object is laying on the cloth cover it with part of the cloth. Say over it three times, “Spirit I ask you to remove all energies but my own from this ______.”

THE NUMEROLOGY MEANING OF DOUBLE-DIGIT NUMBERS

Thus far, we have worked only with single-digit numbers with the exception of the Master numbers and the Karmic Debt numbers. Now, let’s look at the numbers 10 and up.

A single-digit number can be based on different compound numbers.

The 7, for instance, can be based on 16, 25, 34, 43, 52, 61, 70, 79, 88, and 97. Although they all reduce to 7, each changes the personality of the 7 to some extent. In some cases, the changes are quite dramatic, such as when the double-digit number is a Master number or a Karmic Debt number.

When a single-digit number is based on a double-digit number, it’s a good habit to include it in the numerology chart.

If a 7 is based on 25, write 25/7, if it’s based on 34 write 34/7.

A double-digit number’s characteristics are dominated by that of the single-digit to which it reduces. The double-digit number highlights certain aspects and diminishes others, but it never eliminates any aspect completely.

For example, a 7 based on 25 is not as withdrawn as a 7 based on a 16, while a 7 based on 34 is more creative than other 7s.

It should be noted that my description of single-digit numbers illustrate their extremes – and no one has just one number or characteristic.

While all multiple-digit numbers are eventually reduced to single-digit numbers by adding the digits and reducing them (for example, 15 is reduced to 6 by adding 1 and 5), the double-digit numbers also have specific meanings, especially if they are Master numbers (11, 22, or 33), or Karmic Debt numbers (13, 14, 16, or 19).

The general effect of this card must consequently be to afford protection, and as it shows a very favorable attitude on the part of superiors or influential people, though these will be rather young, or at least, not very old. There is above all noblesse in this card, integrity, honesty above all doubt, nor is anything in it which can be turned to evil, were it thrice reversed. The only sort of faults that could be observed in people coming under it would be pride coupled with some vanity, love of pomp, gambling. The Leo-type will naturally dominate the card. Here is a man you must go see and visit, because he will never come to you. He has wide spread influence, which for the good of everybody who wishes to profit by it, and against which it is hopeless to contend. The card means further everything in the way of sanction, agreement, consent, etc., and gives success in love-affairs and marriage.

There may come seductive and suggestive images, some of which may be realised, but others will remain just fancy. The discription which is given by Waite is very accurate and points to the fact, that under the house come nature-spirits and genii, who will eventually help, guide or mislead man.

Divinatory Meaning: The conclusion of any matter in plenty, perfection, and merriment; happy issue, victory, fulfilment, solace, healing.

Additional Divinatory Meaning: Unexspected advancement for a millitary man [or woman].

Theory: The house of friends, must bring concord, etc. Friendship, but on this airy house more platomic than that of the forgoing card. It is the house surroundings so far mastered by the Ego and on this account ‘friendly.’ So the soul-life in surroundins that have been mastered will enjoy desirable and ‘good’ conditions and feel ‘happy.’ There is no feeling whatever of being hampered or thwarted, or depressed. All good luck and general satisfaction. As the eleventh house has to do with commerce and business, and the card favors them beyond doubt, giving a good understanding of opportunity and of the charater and wishes of those with whom we have to do, so that we can supply what they ask.

The design gives on suggestion; here is the lord overlooking his dominion and alternately contemplating a globe; it looks like malady, the mortification, the sadness of Alexander amidst the grandeur of this world’s wealth.

Theory: Something of the oppression, which the heaviness of this fixed and earthy house exercises on the mind. It is the impression of heaviness, of a load on the back, which easily may attain the more concise form of a fear, a gloom, a feeling of being downcast, impotent, weak and not able to resist circumstances. So it may signify the pressure of material conditions, the responsibility imparted by riches, but also projects and conceptions of an economical nature and the idea of capital and capitalizing. Further combinations with the house of Taurus must give music, and we may be sure that this card always has some significance in that way and in the sphere of art intellectually and in general. This is the very important significance.

I do not know about anyone else but I have trouble understanding the Rider Waite tarot card deck when pulling just one card for each of our four headings. I think this will be the only day for using this deck in this way.
