A Spell to Request Peace in the World
This can be done at any time, there is so much civil strife and uneasiness that people must remember to ask for peace.
Burn jasmine incense and light a blue candle. Chant:
We strive toward Spirit again and again,
With faltering steps, unsure of the way.
Open the gates of enlightenment.
Make for us a new day
Of karmic purpose and goal,
A path to a new Earth soul.
Sit quietly visualizing a blue cloud of healing and peace slowly covering the Earth. If you have a specific area, work on mentally permeating that area with the blue cloud. Send out vibrations of love, understanding, cooperation, and peace. Do not visualize how this is to be done, just that it will. Follow the blue cloud of peace with a pink fog of universal love. Say:
Let there be peace among all lands.
Let there be harmony among all peoples.
Cosmic love enters every heart and mind.
All strife is replaced by peace.
By the powers of the Supreme Creator within me,
It is so!

Spell for Today – Dragon Prosperity
The dragon is a fantastic beast that appears in almost every mythological tradition throughout the world. Often depicted as a mix of several differen creatures, it represents the four elements of life: air, fire, water, and earth. The dragon has the wings of a bird and is covered with the scales of a fish or snake. It is capable of breathing fire, and usually guards a horde of treasure deep within the earth. In pre-Christian Europe and the Far East, the dragon was seen a symbol of power, virility, and superhuman strength, and was considered to be a friend of mankind.
In magick, the dragon is wholly beneficent and is seen as the manifestation of life-giving celestial power, and has the attributes of both the sun and moon, masculine and feminine, good and evil sides of nature.
The dragon and serpent are usually interchangeable as representations of the unmanifest and the creation of form and matter. The dragon represents the highest spiritual power, the supernatural, and the spirit of change. When you align your forces with those of the dragon, you gain strength and power. Its magick can help you overcome negative thoughts and it can teach you how to live abundantly.
Dragon Prosperity Spell
This spell is designed to create prosperity. It works best if you have a job and are looking for a pay raise or bonus.
Items needed:
One large green pillar candle, dragon’s blood incense, incense burner and charcoal, dragon prosperity oil, a green silk pouch, five new coins (a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and half-dollar), and an altar or small table.
Dragon’s Blood Incense Recipe
To make dragon’s blood incense, mix 1/2 tsp. dragon’s blood resin with 1/2 tsp. allspice, 1/2 tsp myrrh resin, 1/2 tsp. dried orange peel, 1/2 tsp. sandalwood powder.
To the mixture add 3-drops cinnamon oil, and 3 drops orange spice oil.
Dragon’s Prosperity Oil
To make dragon prosperity oil, in a small bottle mix 5 drops cinnamon oil with 3 drops orange spice oil, and 2 drops sandalwood oil.
The first thing you will need to do is engrave the figure of a dragon on the candle. This can be easily done using awaters (the serpent), and the breath of life (the bird). Generally it is considered to be a ball point pen or small sculpting tool. The engraving does not have to be an elaborate work of art, just a simple outline will do.
Begin on the night of the new moon. Place the dragon candle on your altar with the incense burner in front of it. Place the coins on the left side of the candle and the silk pouch on the right side.
Light the green candle and charcoal. When the coal is glowing red, sprinkle some incense on it. Pick up the penny, hold it tightly, close your eyes and visualize the dragon in his cave. See his treasure and all the wealth he guards. In your mind’s eye, slowly approach the dragon. Show the dragon your coin. Then, with great respect, ask the dragon to expand your wealth as you say:
O great dragon of wealth and power,
I greet thee in this sacred hour.
Great good fortune on me now shower.
That my prosperity shall blossom and flower.
Stay with the dragon for a short time. Listen to what he says, and take heed of his advice. When the dragon begins to fade, leave his cave and return to the present. Place the penny in the green silk pouch. Thank the dragon by saying:
I thank thee great dragon of power and might
For granting my wishes on this night.
Leave the candle to burn for four hours and then snuff it out. Repeat this spell every night until all of the coins have been placed in the green pouch. When the last coin has been placed in the pouch, allow the candle to completely burn out. The rite is then complete.

Explanation: Spiral arms seem to swirl around the core of Messier 96 in this colorful, detailed portrait of a beautiful island universe. Of course M96 is a spiral galaxy, and counting the faint arms extending beyond the brighter central region it spans 100 thousand light-years or so. That’s about the size of our own Milky Way. M96 is known to be 38 million light-years distant, a dominant member of the Leo I galaxy group. Background galaxies and smaller Leo I group members can be found by examining the picture. The most intriguing one is itself a spiral galaxy seen nearly edge on behind the outer spiral arm near the 1 o’clock position from center. Its bright central bulge cut by its own dark dust clouds, the edge-on background spiral appears to be about 1/5 the size of M96. If that background galaxy is similar in actual size to M96, then it would be about 5 times farther away.

This involves tying and untying the string.
Tie seven knots in a string
Visualize the illness and suffering as you tied the initial knots (you are not wishing the illness – in fact the opposite. You are transferring the illness into the knot)
Make it into a bracelet for the patient
Untie one knot each day – visualizing the relief as the knots are untied, as the illnesses negative energy is allowed to dissipate into the atmosphere.
On the last day, unravel the thread and throw everything into running live water, flowing away from the patient’s location.

This spell can be used on a black stone, a necklace or other jewelry you were all the time.
First cleanse the object of all energy besides your own and the objects internal energy.

[This is posted a day early to give us all a chance to wear something Unicorn related. I am honored to have a Unicorn as a totem animal that has been with me through many lifetimes.]
National Unicorn Day on April 9 is a day to celebrate the most popular mythical creature ever. Why? Because if we don’t take time out to celebrate a beautiful, horned, rainbow–printed mythical creature then we’re most definitely missing a trick. The unicorn is a symbol of happiness, fantasy, and wonder. It’s an icon of color, of childlike splendor and magic. They often make appearances on birthday cakes and children’s clothing, and let’s be honest quite a lot of us adults still dig them too. National Unicorn Day is your chance to express some unicorn love, so show some color and delve into the magnificence of unicorns with us!
WHEN IS NATIONAL UNICORN DAY 2022?
We celebrate the myth and magic of unicorns on National Unicorn Day, which takes place on April 9 every year.
HISTORY OF NATIONAL UNICORN DAY
The unicorn is known as a creature of legend, one with a single large, spiraled and pointy horn which projects from its forehead. They were spotted in early Mesopotamian artwork and were often noted in myths and stories deriving from China, Greece, and India. In Greek mythology writers strongly believed that unicorns were running wild in a faraway distant realm. That distant realm was India and Greek physician Ctesias quoted in his book ‘‘On the Nature of Animals’’ that he believed India produced a one-horned horse. Some argued that he wasn’t seeing a unicorn, but instead was citing the Indian Rhinoceros. In Iran, unicorns were said to be found in Persepolis and the Hebrew Bible describes an animal called the ‘‘re’em’’ which some believe to be the unicorn.
The unicorn has always been depicted as a symbol of grace and purity, with its horn said to hold the power to cleanse poisonous water and to heal sickness. In medieval times, they would sell the tusks of the Narwhal whale and advertise it as a Unicorn horn.
The Celts, Romans, and Persians also described a white magical horse with a single horn. The creature was said to represent …

Spell to Stop a Person From Harming You
You will need:
White candle
Favorite incense
Brown paper
Lead pencil
Spoonful of used coffee grounds
Light a white candle and your favorite incense. Meditate a short while on the problem. Invoke the Spirits of Protection.
Take a piece of brown paper, like from a grocery bag, on it use a lead pencil to print and write the name of the offending person or people. If unknown people are involved, also print and write, ‘and all persons unknown that are causing harm to me!’
Cross off each line forcefully and say, forcefully:
I freeze name(s) to be bound by this spell,
unable to cause any more harm to (name(s)!
As I will, so mote it be!
Put a spoonful of used coffee grounds on the brown paper, fold it small, and place it in the freezer. Leave it until the problem is completely resolved. I wrap a rubber band, string, twist tie, or what have you, to keep the coffee grounds from falling out of the paper. You can also use a zip lock bag.
Be sure and burn the candle completely up. Don’t use that candle for a different purpose.
