If we are gauging the power of each 24-hour time-period from the vantage point of challenging versus supportive aspects, then today is very potent, but with the tendency toward discord. The reason is that the two largest celestial bodies — the Sun in Virgo and Jupiter in Gemini — are in a 90-degree formation or, literally, at cross purposes (3:16AM PDT). That kind of cosmic set-up alone would be suffice to make this a precarious day on Planet Earth when you would need to be extra careful and monitor your behavior to avoid saying or doing something to offend a family member, friend or colleague. Arrogance, greed and self-centeredness are out; magnanimity and humility are in.  However, you also have to jump through other celestial hoops as Pallas squares Pluto (6:07AM PDT), Venus makes an off-kilter, 150-degree link to far-out Neptune (1:54PM PDT) while Mercury is contra-parallel Saturn (2:05PM PDT). As the modern saying goes, with friends like these who needs enemies? The bottom line is that you need to visualize yourself as a hurdler in the Olympics, leaping high to go over those gates in your path in order to make it to the finish line and win some kind of medal.  Eight celestial bodies are attempting to wreak havoc and your job is to be a Rock of Gibraltar for dear ones under duress and needing assistance. Fortunately, the Sun chimes in with an inspirational, 72-degree rapport to Juno (11:44PM PDT). Will this be a case of too little too late? Perhaps, but it is at least a step in the right direction of trying to empower human beings instead of undermining their confidence and sense of self-worth.
