A Thought for Today

If you could pick as smaller circle four or say even up to twelve other like minded people to go on a retreat with to get closer to being in harmony with the unsullied world around us and to honor Goddesses, Gods, and other beings that try to keep nature in the wild pure…Who would you pick?
This is not a question to answer here. For me, it is a question I ponder often and usually come up with twelve others and myself to go on a trip like this. Those currently in my coven always come to mind, but the other six evolve and change over time. As I evolve, my priorities in life change, and the people close to me change, so do who I would want to be with.
So, this is just a question to ponder. I think for everyone, whether they follow The Old Ways, Neo-Paganism, or some other spiritual path.

Yep, I am still at my computer making sure all the daily and birthday plus the northern and southern hemisphere’s tomorrow current moon phases are done through January 2, 2024 are done. At least doing these posts are relaxing me after printing out about 400 pages of paperwork today for various jobs that Big Dawg has got done. I still have another 408 pages for just one job to do but they can wait for tomorrow. I so deserve to have fun time at the computer! Look for New Year’s Eve some of the witchcraft/magickal correspondences and some spells for New Year’s Eve to be posted tomorrow. I want to make sure you have plenty of time to have everything on hand you may need to pick up if you choose to do them.
I sincerely hope you are being able to relax and have been enjoying your whatever time a day or night it is where you!!
Love and hugs, LCB a.k.a. Lady Carla Beltane
I’d like to thank my reader ED for the LCB nickname so much easier than typing out Lady Carla Beltane all the time so expect to see me using it more in 2024.

I’m Walking 31 Miles in January to Help the American Cancer Society Research
In my mom’s family, all different types of cancer don’t just rum they gallop through family members. I have lost count of how many family members either crossed the veil due to complications of their cancer or because treatment they were receiving to put it in remission. My mom had a rare type of anal cancer, which had been in remission for 17 or 18 years when she crossed the veil due to 2 brain surgeries because of a bleed in her brain from a fall. She is one of very, very few family members who only had to deal with one type of cancer, and thankfully, no type of cancer came back.
There are many, many families dealing with cancer of one kind or another from babies to grandparents. So, my story isn’t unique.
You can use the link below to donate towards my goal to raise $200.00 USD. Which will help me stick to reaching my goal of 31 miles. Or use it to jump to where you can join me in support of cancer patients via research for better treatments or possibly, some day, a cure for it.

A Thought for Today
May this song touch your heart as it does mine.

Angel Flight
“Angel Flights are the U.S. Air Force planes (C-130’s) used to fly home our Fallen Soldiers. Angel Flight is also their call sign. … Now, of course, there are other flights that have an even higher priority, but in reference to other standard military flights, Angel Flights get number 1 priority.” #AngelFlight
I know there are some who read my blog are former military from different countries. I dedicate this post to the fallen among you. As this year comes to a close please remember not only those in the military who gave their lives, men-women-animals, to keep us civilians and the country they fought for safe and for a better way of life. Also remember their families and friends who sacrificed there military hero for us and in many cases the love ones never get over the loss.
Keep in mind too those that come home from a war zone who have seen things no one ever should that they deserve our thanks and support. Just as their families do.
Join me in saluting not only every military person who is now serving but also all those that have served going back centuries.
All first responders living, or dead deserve our thanks and appreciation for all they do too.
