Sometimes called a Last Quarter Moon, this phase occurs roughly 3 weeks after the New Moon when the Moon is three quarter of the way through it’s orbit around the earth. For those of you in the southern hemisphere it will be the opposite with the right side illuminated. Help With Feeling Better Needed

Unfortunately we are not finishing out the week with the carnival because we tested positive for covid. Working directly we young children is unthinkable to us. Even one day was too much. Lord Beltane could not even work out the day because of the bodily aches and pains. I was using hand sanitizer about every 15 minutes and was hardly coughing yesterday. When I did I was very careful not to cough towards anyone. The huge downside to testing positive is we can not work out the week and have 3 bills we cannot pay. One of which is my internet which might wind up in it being shut off until next month.

We would both appreciate candles lit being lit or healing energy sent our way to help with our symptoms. If you feel like making a donation to help cover the $260.00 USD we are short this month I will happily do an Animal Spirit reading for you. Taking a Vacation Sort Of

Mardi Gras – House of Mirrors

For the next week the only posts will be the birthday horoscope and current Moon phase. Lord Beltane and I get to have fun with children of all ages while working at the same carnival as last year and not having to be concerned with everyday things except taking care of our fur children. I should be running the House of Mirrors a.k.a. Mardi Gras.

Since we are probably doing just one location this year and I have been mildly depressed I am considering this as a vacation. Where else could we go and be surrounded by laughter, positive energy, and children from babies in a stroller to those walking with a cane that are letting their inner child out to play and get paid for it? Granted it is long hours on our feet in the sun but we get to be outside all day having fun. My goal is to come back to you relaxed and rejuvenated instead of the frame of mind I am now.

So until Monday, August 22nd have a fantastic week. Find sometime to go outside to just sit and listen to the sounds of our fellow beings in nature.

The Reason for the Upcoming Missing Posts from August 12th to September 5th

I get to work at the carnival again next week. Which means we will be leaving the house around 9:30 AM CDT and not getting until I do not know about when yet. The reason we both will be working it is we really need the extra money to catch up two bills that are a bit behind. The other reason I want to work it is being surrounded by children of all ages being in a good mood which will release positive energy around me. So posts may be even more messed up for which I apologize.

I feel that I should share a fuller explanation about what has been going on with me the past few weeks and will probably continue until the first week in September. Also today August 12th would have been my parents 65 wedding anniversary. They only got to celebrate 11 before my dad crossed into the Summerlands in April, 1970

My mother had surgery to drain fluid and blood from an aera of her brain that was caused by a fall in the beginning of July, 2015. The drain tube was not securely placed and fell out way to soon. The doctor did nothing further at that time so she wound up back in the hospital needing basically the same surgery repeated around the last week of July 2015. From this second surgery she only woke up two times for 30 to 45 minutes each. When she started having seizure the doctor ordered a brain wave test to be done. The test results showed basically no brain activity. So I conference called my children and explained per my mom’s wishes I was taking her off of all machines, and nothing would be done to keep her alive. The only thing the hospital was allowed to do was give her medicine to keep her comfortable.

So on August 3, 2015 with 4 of my 5 children present and the rector of my mom’s church present there was a prayer said to ask “God” to take care. And thus begun my 21 day 24/7 vigil at my mom’s hospital bedside waiting for my mom to cross into the Summerlands. This was in addition to the two different times I stayed with her in the ICU.

I have not yet fully forgiven myself for being outside having a cigarette when she drew her last breath on August 24, 2015. The days of waiting for the autopsy, making arrangements with my middle son, the funeral service, making phone calls, and for at least a couple months after are mostly a blurr in my mind.

But the single thing I can remember in vivid detail to this day is me making a pentagram out of twigs and than breaking each one while each time asking the Goddess to take my mom so her silent suffering would stop. As I broke the last stick I felt a powerful tug in my heart and root chakras. This let me know my request was answered and my mom had crossed. So it was not a shock when I got back to the floor she was on and the nurses stopping me before I reach her that she had passed but they were waiting on a doctor to make it official. Leaving her time of death about 20 minutes later than when I knew she had crossed the veil.

My mom I know planned her date to die as it is my oldest granddaughters birthday. My mom was many things but to me her greatest accomplishment was and is her descendants and living her life to the fullest. So she made sure we had something full of life to celebrate instead of an anniversary would bring us heartache year after year.

The news outlet also notes that the 2022 Sturgeon moon will be a supermoon — and the last supermoon of the year. Some experts believe that the June and July full moons were the only true supermoons in 2022, but others have also recognized the May and August full moons as super as well.

According to NASA, a supermoon is a full moon that appears within 90 percent of perigee (a moon’s closest proximity to Earth in a month), making it appear much larger and brighter than the average full moon to us Earth dwellers.

August Full Moon – Also Known as the Corn Moon

In late August, we celebrate the beginning of the Corn Moon. This moon phase is also known as the Barley Moon, and carries on the associations of grain and rebirth that we saw a couple of weeks earlier, at Lammastide. August was originally known as Sextilis by the ancient Romans, but was later renamed for Augustus (Octavian) Caesar.

This is a season of the beginning harvest. It’s when corn and wheat are flourishing in the fields, and will soon be threshed. If you have a garden, it’s probably blooming with tomatoes, onions, and herbs just waiting to be picked. Focus on this harvest aspect of August’s full moon, and consider what things you have in your life, right now, that can be gathered, collected, and stored for later.

The Master – Major Arcana

I. The explanation of The Master Osho Zen

The Master Osho Zen is not a teacher for others, but he is a teacher for himself. Every single word and act he makes, it reflects the enlightenment. He neither has any personal purpose nor desire for anything, but always lets thing happens as it should be – there is nothing to strive for. Even though his surrounding disciples are not always beside him, yet they feel his presence and be inspired by his actions.

In his eyes, disciples could find their truth reflected, and in his silence, they could easily immerse themself in their own silence. The master welcomes his disciples which is not because he wants to lead them, but because he has so much to share. Together, they create a great source of energy that could support each individual in search of their own light.

If you could find such a great teacher, you are very blessed. If not, then keep searching. Let’s learn from the preachers, who will be the teacher and then let’s step forward. Like Buddha, Tathagata said, “let’s go! don’t stop! ”. Keep moving forward! Allow yourself to step out of the earthy striving and seek your highest perspective in all things.

II. The Meaning of The Master Osho Zen

Apart from our minds, there is an intrinsic awareness. It is not something the external world could give you. It is also not an idea – and so far, there is not any research pointed out yet in which a place in our brain will correspond to it. The lofty aim of meditation is to remind us to stay alert to our “mind” and get rid of our own identification with it. That distance is the greatest revolution that can take place in a human.

Now you can perform and act based on what makes you happy, satisfied, pleased, what makes your life become a work of art, a beauty. However, this state only happens if the master inside of you is awake. Right now, he is still asleep. And your mind, as a servant, is playing the part of the teacher. The servant is created by the external world, he submits himself to the world and all the rules attached.

When your awareness becomes a fire, it will burn the whole slavery regime that your mind has created. No happiness is more precious than freedom or becoming a teacher of your own destiny.

Therefore, the master card is all about recognizing the master within us, that we are the leader and creator of our own lives when we view them from a high level, from our higher selves perspective.
