DAILY MAGICKAL APPLICATIONS FOR MONDAY

Monday is named after the moon. The Latin term for Monday is Dies Lunae (“moon’s day”); in the Old English language, this day was Monandaeg; in Greek, it was Hermera Selenes. All of these different names and languages translate to the same thing: the “day of the moon.”

Working with the different phases of the moon is an important skill that takes a bit of time for Witches to learn. So why not cut to the chase and experiment with the day of the week that is dedicated to the moon in all of its magickal energies and aspects?

Magickally, Monday encourages the lunar energies of inspiration, illusion, prophetic dreams, emotions, psychic abilities, travel, women’s mysteries, and fertility.

Never hear a man say

Things You’ll Never Hear A Man Say:

  1. Here honey, you use the remote.
  2. You know, I’d like to see her again, but her breasts are just too big.
  3. Ooh, Antonio Banderas AND Brad Pitt? That’s one movie I gotta see!
  4. While I’m up, can I get you anything?
  5. Honey since we don’t have anything else planned, will you go to the wallpaper store with me?
  6. Why don’t you go to the mall with me and help me pick out a pair of shoes?
  7. Aww, forget Monday night football, Let’s watch Melrose Place.
  8. Hey let me hold your purse while you try that on.
  9. We never talk anymore

Your Love Horoscopes for the Week of December 2nd

An optimistic New Moon in Sagittarius may renew your faith in love on Monday. In particular, we’re talking about the kind of love that takes you on a magic carpet ride, opening you up to a whole new world. Set your sights on the exotic vacation you and your sweetheart never had the opportunity to take, and make it happen if possible. The itch to travel will be strong — especially after Wednesday when Mercury enters Sagittarius. The real headline news in love this week, however, has more to do with Mars. The planet of assertive drive will enter relationship-oriented Libra on Saturday, where he’ll settle in for an unusually long visit — until July 2014! Think all is fair in love and war? Not so fast…

Aries Horoscope
Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Big news, Aries! On Saturday, Mars, your ruler, will enter your 7th House of Partnership. This transit happens about once every two years, but this time it’ll be extra special. Why? In 2014, Mars will turn retrograde, giving you an opportunity to carefully revisit your approach to partnership matters. How are you using your energy in relationship? Are you fighting with your partner for no good reason or are you avoiding a fight because you’re afraid of rocking the boat? Oh, and by the way, what happened to your sex life? These questions and more will be answered over the next several months.

Taurus Horoscope
Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

You might not even be looking for the opportunity for a new intimate encounter this week, but thanks to Monday’s New Moon it’s quite possible that someone will approach you with a sexy request. Whether or not you choose to accept is up to you, of course, but if you do, be sure not to kiss and tell. On Friday, there’s a testy link between Mercury and Neptune to caution you against sharing any of that private pillow talk with friends. You wouldn’t want to be the subject of gossip.

Gemini Horoscope
Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

On Monday, a New Moon may promise a fresh start for you and your mate. If things have been dull in the relationship department, it’s possible this lunation will open up the door for new adventures in love. After Wednesday, you’ll even find it easier to communicate with your partner and you may decide to pursue a new course of study together for fun. If single, your sex life is about to get a major jump start. Mars will enter your romance sector for the first time in nearly two years. Ooh la la!

Cancer Horoscope
Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

Because you’re ruled by the fluctuating Moon, it’s no surprise that wherever the Moon goes in your chart is where your mood will focus. This week, on Wednesday and Thursday, you’ll have your emotions set on your partner as the Moon makes her way through your relationship sector. An intuitive grasp of your mate’s feelings will be easy to achieve. On Saturday, Mars will enter partnership Libra and your domestic 4th House of Home and Family. You and your sweetheart may have more quarrels about a home renovation project. Don’t lose sight of what really matters.

Leo Horoscope
Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Are you looking for love in all the wrong places? This week, a brilliant New Moon might send just the signal you need to help you get your heart out of the “lost zone.” Anticipate at least one opportunity to date someone new. This person will likely captivate you more because of your differences rather than what you have in common. Be careful on Friday, however, because it’s possible that you’ll misunderstand your new paramour’s signals. Talking about a sexual fantasy doesn’t mean it’s time to manifest it!

Virgo Horoscope
Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

You may feel extra sentimental about romance on Wednesday and Thursday, as the Moon tours your 5th House of True Love. While it’ll be a wonderful time to shower someone close with affection, at the same time you may feel distracted because these feelings will occur in the middle of your hectic work week. Give yourself permission to let loose once in a while.  Besides, having your lover in bed will be more fun than taking home all of that paperwork!

Libra Horoscope
Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Get ready to feel more energy than you have in quite some time! Mars, the planet that rules our “get up and go” factor, will move into your sign this Saturday, and isn’t going anywhere for several months. For the next few weeks you’ll feel passion return to your veins as Mars prompts you to go after what and whom you want most! You might notice a stronger sex drive, as well, as the ability to make that first move if you’re typically the shy type. You’ve got game!

Scorpio Horoscope
Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

A confusing conversation with your lover may set the tone for bewilderment rather than fulfillment in the romance department — especially by Friday. You might have unrealistic expectations about a relationship or what a lover can offer you in return for what you can offer him or her. On Saturday, Mars will enter your 12th House of Privacy. It might become more difficult to outwardly pursue someone you’ve got a crush on. You’ll need to make an extra effort because your intentions might not be as easy to read.

Sagittarius Horoscope
Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

A New Moon in your sign on Monday can spell the beginning of something wonderful because it’ll allow you to write a brand new chapter in the story of your life. If a relationship is your priority now, you can certainly use this energy to help you attract an emotional equal. You’ll have an even stronger edge by Wednesday, when Mercury enters your sign and helps you communicate what you want clearly. You’ll offer up scintillating conversation that’ll make it difficult for someone you admire to ignore.

Capricorn Horoscope
Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

If there’s something private you’ve longed to share with your partner but somehow couldn’t open up enough to reveal, all of that may change this week. A New Moon will illuminate your 12th House of Privacy, opening up an opportunity for you to make a personal breakthrough. Because the Moon rules your partnership sector, it’ll be easy for you to “go there” with your mate and not worry so much that he or she will judge or condemn you. Trust that by sharing your innermost feelings, it’ll only draw the two of you closer.

Aquarius Horoscope
Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

If you’re single, you’ll want to focus on your circle of friends to help you breathe new life into your romantic prospects. A gorgeous New Moon on Monday will open up the floodgates in your social life. A pal may offer to set you up on a date or you might go out with a group of friends and meet someone special. On Wednesday, when Mercury (ruler of your romance sector) enters your friendship sector, you may consider asking a friend for advice about your love life. He or she can help you solve a relationship problem.

Pisces Horoscope
Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

On Saturday, with sexy Mars moving into your erotic 8th House of Deep Transformation and Sex, on Saturday you’ll have the stamina to pursue your most taboo fantasies in the bedroom. Fortunately, your partner will be on board! You might experience some tension, however, when it comes to shared finances. If your mate has built up any credit card debt, for example, you may get into a quarrel. Alternatively, you and your partner might find yourselves in a position where you need to address a tax issue. Don’t let money problems ruin your great love affair.

Good Monday Morn, My Dear Friends & Family!

Good Monday morning, my dear family! How are you doing today? I hope super. At least the Sun is shining here and that seems to lift my spirit just alone. Sorry about the weekend! I got pissed at myself Saturday, it just seemed like I couldn’t get anything done. Then I felt guilty about Sunday, but a little voice told me to relax and enjoy what I was doing. I have to admit I did enjoy it. My poor broke finger (that was suppose to be healed) is telling the tale I enjoy it too much, lol! Oh, so not funny! I still ain’t sure about those darn jingle bells. I guess they will have to do till I find something better.

I can’t get over it being December. It seems like this year has just flew by. The old saying around here, “Time flies when you are having a good time,” I must have been having one heck of a good time! Thinking back, I hope I don’t have this good of time ever again, lol! Broken finger & leg, stitches in the hand, and I am sure there are quite a few things I am forgetting. Oh, yeah, lost of memory, seriously! You ever go to do something, get up from the desk and then wonder what you got up for? That’s me. If I don’t write it down anymore, it don’t get done. I could call it what it is but I am not that old yet! Keyword, “yet!”

One more thing before I run…..Who hooked me up on Match.com? Everyone here swears up and down they didn’t (yeah, right!). It was curious when I opened up our email and there was about 6 or 7 saying, “Here are your matches for Kentucky.” I had to do a double take on that one. I thought it was funny though. Someone (and I am positive I know who) used my ID and our site email account and opened up a Match.com just for little old me. I almost laughed my rump off. I guess someone is trying to give me that extra special Yule present this year. Thanks Mystie but I am perfectly content the way things are right now. Ooops, did I say, “Mystie!”

Anyway I have got to run for now. I hope everyone has a very blessed week. Be safe, my friends!

Luv & Hugs,

Lady A

Good Blessed Thursday Morning to my wonderful family & friends!

(Wow, it is finally Friday! This seems like it has been a loooong week. Way to much going on in the world and personally. I hope you are planning on a nice relaxing weekend. I am!!!)

Well I figured I would just leave the graphic and opening message. I have run a day ahead all week long. Sure indicator I am definitely ready for Friday to get here, lol! Please, Friday hurry! All the other info on this post is correct. I am sorry again but like I said it has been a loooong week and now my bubble is bursted 😦

Just a couple of reminders real quick……The spell for Washington to get its act together ends tonight. Then we will wait a day or two to see if any effects result from the spell. I know it was a mild spell. But these days, when it comes to the Government, you have to be careful what you post. Websites are being monitored and we really don’t want the CIA carrying any of us off. We would have to be smuggling in a saw in a batch of wands. So if by Monday or Tuesday of next week, we will try a more potent spell. It won’t be posted on the net. I have never been in jail and don’t won’t to go. Neither do I want the site closed down. But I think Washington is starting to make some progress perhaps not as quickly as we would like but what can I say?

I think one group that has stepped up during this whole mess deserves to be mentioned in our prayers. That is the Fisher House. It is pitiful that a private organization has to bail the Government out of their obligations. Thank the Goddess for them though. They stepped up and helped out our grieving military families. I know I am going to thank the Goddess for them and also ask that She bless them. Thank you, Fisher House, for being their when you are needed most!

Lastly and I will get to work…..It is that time of the month again for us to update our Pinterest site. After the dailys have been posted today, we are going over there to update and keep our site current. As you know if you don’t post so often the sites are shut down. You know us we wait to the last minute to do anything. So if you want to come over and check the site out, come on. We will be there working our little rumps off.

Now off to work, I go!

Have a fantastic Friday and a safe & relaxing Weekend,

Luv & hugs,

Lady A

Your Love Horoscopes for the Week of October 7th

Your heart may fill with wanderlust this week, thanks to love planet Venus moving into adventurous Sagittarius on Monday. You’ll be more inclined to take a leap of faith when it comes to romance now until November 5. Be careful, however, not to jump to fast into anything because your unguarded optimism might lead to disappointment. Venus will crash into Neptune on Thursday, creating an atmosphere that could leave you feeling blindsided, thanks to an open, over-trusting heart.
Aries Horoscope
Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Sharing love with a like-minded soul will be especially important to you this week. Love planet Venus enters your 9th House of Intellectual and Spiritual Expansion on Monday. Until November 5, you and your mate will search for the greater meaning of life together — possibly through travel or study. On Tuesday, it might be difficult to communicate about an intimate matter, and if you feel pushed into a corner you’re likely to respond by shutting down altogether. Living in a romantic bubble of denial? On Thursday it might burst.

Taurus Horoscope
Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

It’ll be easier for you to reveal your erotic side to your partner this week, thanks to Venus moving into your 8th House of Intimacy on Monday. You’ll be more willing to open up to your lover, body and soul, now until November 5. This trend might help nurture your relationship, however, a sober conversation or decision you need to make on Tuesday about the direction of your partnership may tempt you to put the walls right back up. With love these days, it’s one step forward, two steps back.

Gemini Horoscope
Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

Expect greater relationship harmony starting on Monday and lasting until November 5. Venus will move through your 7th House of Partnerships, allowing you and your mate to see the best in one another. If you’re in a happy place with someone you’ve recently started to date, this cycle may lead you toward a greater commitment, such as an exclusive relationship, or even a possible engagement. On Thursday, you might feel as if your ideal partnership falls from its pedestal of perfection. This is not necessarily a bad thing — it’ll remind you that your relationship is real and not storybook fodder.

Cancer Horoscope
Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

An office romance may soon heat up. While it might feel as if you’ve finally found someone to love, the quagmire about mixing business with pleasure may also have a chokehold on you. On Tuesday, you and your paramour may decide whether or not you’re ready to risk the potential fallout from exploring a relationship together. If you’re already in a relationship, it’s possible your mate will receive disappointing news about a work situation. Take heart — it’s temporary.

Leo Horoscope
Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Love is in the air! Venus will move into your 5th House of Romance on Monday, and from then until November 5 you’ll enjoy magnificent potential to attract a new love interest your way. If you’re attached, it’s possible this energy will lead you and your mate to consider starting a family in the near future. One caveat this week: Keep love and money as separate as possible on Thursday. Venus will square off with Neptune, and you’re not likely to see Venusian ruled matters clearly.

Virgo Horoscope
Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Domestic and romantic harmony will go hand-in-hand this week. You and your partner might decide to move forward on a home decorating project, and if so you’re likely to share similar champagne tastes. Whether or not your budget can afford such extravagances, try to remain realistic as you move forward making these home improvements. On Thursday, you might feel a twinge of disappointment when it comes to your relationship and how it affects your family dynamic. Don’t fret, bliss will return by the weekend.

Libra Horoscope
Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Expect communication between you and your mate to improve dramatically this week. Venus, the planet of love and harmony, will enter your 3rd House of Information on Monday, where she will remain until November 5. Not only will this improve your ability to speak from the heart, but you’ll also find that it’s easier to compromise if there’s a vital decision you and your love need to make together. On Thursday, you might discover that someone has a crush on you at the office. If so, you’ll feel flattered and confused. Now what?

Scorpio Horoscope
Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

As Venus enters your 2nd House of Money on Monday, you’ll notice a definite improvement in your financial situation, but there will be another, more subtle bonus you can certainly take to the bank. This has to do with your confidence and feelings of validation. Your partner will have a stronger ability to make you feel like a million bucks. Maybe you’re just more receptive to his or her compliments now, or maybe you’re actually getting the praise you’ve been missing out on for quite some time. Either way, soak it all in.

Sagittarius Horoscope
Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

You’re beautiful and you know it! On Monday, Venus will enter Sagittarius, and until November 5 there’s no denying that you’re the fairest of them all. Use your powers of attraction wisely and you’ll have the potential to kiss a prince or princess. On Thursday, however, you may also discover that you’ve kissed a frog. A relative might try to warn you that you’re falling for the wrong one, but you’re not likely to listen. Think twice. Love is blind, but thankfully your family isn’t.

Capricorn Horoscope
Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Romantic matters are likely to take a more private turn for you this week. Perhaps you just feel a stronger urge to take time away from the noise of your love life in order to consider the direction your relationship is heading. Or it’s possible you’ll need time to grieve a love that was lost — or one that was never reciprocated. Either way, be gentle with yourself and allow the feelings you’ve tried to keep buried to surface. That’s the only way to heal.

Aquarius Horoscope
Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Friendship is a prerequisite to love in your eyes, and this week that will become even more of a requirement. Thankfully, you’ll feel especially connected to someone you’re already partnered up with. In fact, you may discover that exploring a mutual interest together adds extra sparks to your love fest. Consider joining a new club or pursuing a mutual aspiration together. If single, you might meet someone new on the Internet or through a friend’s introduction. The affinity you feel will be uncanny. Love is grand, but when your lover is also your BFF you’ve got it made.

Pisces Horoscope
Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

When it comes to love, you might feel a stronger urge to be with someone you can respect and admire. Venus will enter your 10th House of Status on Monday, and you’ll be more conscious of this desire until November 5. It’s natural to want to be with someone who elevates you, however, on Thursday, if you discover your sweetheart isn’t all he or she appears to be, you may decide to end things. If you remain in an unhealthy relationship because of appearances, you’re in for a rude awakening. The only person you’ll fool is yourself.

(USA TODAY) – The Draconid meteor shower will sweep across U.S. skies early Monday evening just after sunset.

Although not among the showiest showers of the year, the Draconids stand out for one reason: Unlike most meteor showers, they are best seen in the evening rather than before dawn. That makes them a great introduction to sky-watching because they don’t require getting up early. Read More…..
