KNOT LOVE SPELL

 

Items Needed:

 

3 cords or pieces of yarn in romantic colors (You can find these in the crafts section at Walmart.)

 

Take 3 cords or strings of different romantic colors – pink (for love), red (for passion) and white (for purity). You may choose other colors that are meaningful to you if you prefer.

 

Tie a knot near one end of the braid as you visualize a new love arriving in your life.

 

As you tie the knot, say the following prayer or another prayer or chant that is meaningful to you:

 

“Venus, Queen of Love, divine
Bring the love to me that’s mine.”

 

Braid the three strings together as you continue to visualize the perfect romantic partner falling deeply in love with you as you fall in love with him/her. Really try to feel the emotions of the two of you being happy together, being romantic, kissing and smiling, etc.

 

Next tie another knot and repeat the prayer as you continue the visualization.

 

Do this a total of seven times (knot & prayer, braid & visualize, knot & prayer), until you have seven knots in the cord.

 

Keep the knotted string with you (you may wish to fashion it into a necklace or bracelet and wear it) until you find your perfect love.

 

After you have found love, keep the cord in a safe place. If you decide you want to end the relationship someday, you can use the cord in a ritual designed for that purpose.

 

Note: Don’t worry if you lose the cord. Your love does not exist inside of a cord. The magic is always inside you. It’s in the visualization. It’s in the emotions that you felt as you braided the cord and tied the knots and said the prayer. The cord itself is merely a symbol to keep you focused on finding love.

Sometimes, when we have resolved to do something or stick to a regime, our resolution wavers. This spell will help strengthen it.

You will need:
A purple candle
White thread

Start by winding the cotton three times deosil (clockwise) around the candle, about a third of the way down. As you do so, focus on your breathing, taking deep breaths in and out. On the third wrap of the cotton take a deep breath in and hold it for a count of six.

Visualise yourself being surrounded in purple light to give you strength.

When you are ready, light the candle and focus on the flame. As you do so, ask out loud for strength in your resolve and help with keeping your focus on the task. End with the words ‘and harm to none, so mote it be’.

Magickal Activity for May 3rd, The Festival of Bona Dea – Wishing Pot

Egyptian Beauty Wishing Pot

Items needed: A small ceramic jar or pot with a tight-fitting lid; 2″ square piece of parchment paper; a gold ink pen; a jar of honey; three silver coins.

Write out your wish on the parchment paper. Place the paper in the bottom of the jar. Add the coins and fill the jar with honey. Cover with the lid. Hold the jar close to your heart and the chant the following nine times to empower the wishing pot:

Goddess of blessings and bountiful earth
To my wishes and dreams give birth

Place the pot on your altar until your wish come true. Once you receive your petition, toss the pot into the nearest water way.

5 small bells
1 yard each yellow, red, blue, green, and purple ribbon

Thread a bell on each length of ribbon, then tie the first four ribbons to tree branches in the order listed above, saying with each:

During this Pisces Moon, it is a good time for developing psychic skills. To do this, create an altar that includes some of the Piscean ritual objects: Blue and blue-green candles, A bowl of water, and figurines or pictures of otters, salmons, seals, whales, or great blue herons. Place some coral, opal, or labradorite stones on the altar with dried horsetail or sage. Apply some oil of lotus or frankincense, light the candles, and mediate on the water. Gaze deeply into the bowl and say:

 

Water shining
Water Deep
bring me answers that I seek

 

Then ask questions that you do not have the answer for. Watch for images to appear in the water.

A Spring Abundance Spell

Now that trees and shrubs are beginning to show signs of growth, it’s the perfect time to perform this ritual. You’ll need a pliable stem about two to three feet long from a tree or shrub such as a willow or forsythia. Being by weaving the steam into a small wreath. As you weave, say:

The winds of winter are a thing of the past
Spring, I welcome you at last.
Growth and abundance are draw to me.
Now I’m blessed with prosperity.

As you weave the stem, visualize growth and abundance being bound to you. When you’re done, hang the wreath on a branch to the tree or shrub from whic it came. Thank the tree or shrub. You’ve created some positive karma, which will increase the flow of abundance coming to you.

  • Find a small bottle and fill it with needles, pins and Rosemary.

  • As you add these things to the bottle say: “Pins, needles, rosemary, wine. 

  •  In this Witch’s bottle of mine; Guard against harm and enmity; This is my will, so mote it be”

  • Visualize the herbs doing just that.  When the bottle is full, add red wine.

  • Cork or cap the bottle.  Drip wax from a RED or BLACK Candle to seal the bottle.

  • Bury the bottle at the furthest corner of your property or in the house out of sight.

  • The bottle destroys negativity and evil and protects you and your property.

What You’ll Need:

-A jar or bowl, preferably clear
-Water
-4-6 small rocks or pebbles
-A permanent marker (Sharpie works best)

How to Conjure:

★Using the marker, write an aspiration on each rock, preferably one or two words each. For example: Abundance, happiness, health, new job, healthy relationship, new home, etc.

★Fill the jar or bowl with water. Take the jar and your wishing stones outside or by a moonlit window.

★Sit quietly for a moment (preferably in the grass or soil) and center yourself.

★One by one, carefully drop each wishing stone into the jar as you envision the assigned word coming to fruition. For example, if you’re casting for happiness, picture all the simple pleasures that make you happy as you release the stone into the water. If you’re casting for health, imagine yourself in tip-top shape, stretching and moving without any pain or illness.

★Once each wishing stone has been released into the water, hold the jar or bowl in your hands and say:

Water, Moon, Earth, and Night,
Bring forth the visions I’ve conjured in sight.
Water by ocean, by snow, and by rain,
This spell has been cast, these wishes attained.

★Leave the jar outside overnight or on a moonlit windowsill. In the morning, pull the stones from the water and allow to dry. Return the water to the earth. If desired, you may keep your wishing stones with you until your spell manifests. Otherwise, place them in a safe place and know the Goddess has heard your moon wishes!

Strong Binding Spell

Materials Required:

One picture of the person

One piece of material (belonging to person) to make a doll (a sock would work fine)

Sand

Rope, at least one yard

Grass

Instructions: This is a very strong binding spell, meant to be used for protection, as well as cursing. It will work hard to keep the intended person away from you. Make a doll from the person’s material and fill it with the grass and sand. Place the picture of the person on top of the doll, and wrap the two together with the rope until neither are visible. Bury the object in a place far away from where you live, socialize or work, where it won’t be found.

And if you really want to get nasty, poke the doll with a needle while shouting,

“Move, move, move, I say,

Be gone with you now.”
